This Bargain Hunt store is much bigger and nicer than the one on University Drive in Huntsville, I definitely prefer this stores size and layout but overall I still prefer Ollie’s Bargain Outlet for their prices and selection but I’ll definitely stop by this store again to see if anything changes.

I love Bargain Hunt as a store, but tonight at the Decatur, AL store the lady that checked me and my boyfriend out seemed like she didnt want to be there. Quite honestly her less than warm attitude has left me with the decision I wont be back to that store. I didnt like feeling like I was a personal annoyance for the cashier. I walked up to the register where there was zero staff and stood for a bit. ( The sign said #3 register was open) Then when the cashier came I asked a question about a price she answered and walked off again. I stood there and waited again and when my boyfriend came up too she finally realized we were wanting to check out. ( Then the first thing I had to do was get my items and move to another register because the cashier said she couldnt sign in to that register even though the sign said open.) Then while checking out even my boyfriend mentioned to me, wow she has attitude. I try to keep these reviews as positive as possible. However I want you reading this to know your potential real experience too. Again I do love Bargain Hunt as a store, but I will be going to different Bargain Hunt store in the future.

The store was clean but the layout was odd and slightly inconvenient. For a store with a title bargain hunt, one would think you wouldnt have to actually hunt for the bargains. Many of the prices, werent much (if any) cheaper than Walmart. If you look around, you will find a few decent prices but honestly, youre probably better off hitting a big box store.

I was disappointed today. I am usually very happy with my shopping experience at Bargain Hunt. But, today i was told by a store representative that an unmarked item was one price and charged another price. When confronted by the matter, the representatives stood with no explanation

This place is addictive! ! The low prices and name brand quality. The employees are so friendly and school is around the corner and this is a great place to get school clothes. Their staff will make sure you can afford it with her mark downs . Now I can wear a different dress every Sunday!

Okay place to go when bored but its mostly a high end thrift store.

Everything is very expensive. Definitely nothing bargain about it. Went to try on some shoes and the theft prevent tag was straight through the top and you couldnt even try them on. Everywhere you turned it was a $15 sign, like if they didnt know how much they just put $15 whether it was worth $2 or $10. I even found stuff that had a cheaper price tag at the original store and was marked up at bargain hunt.

Love going here! Be careful, youll find plenty of things you never knew you needed

Large store but junky . The crew is not helpful but most of clerks are friendly. There are just a few bargains to get you in the store. I found it to be somewhat expensive.

Stire seem dirty. Bathroim was disgusting. Empliyees were not polite or helpful in the least and none of the. Seemed to care about things i was saying when asking questions about items or prices. And at check out watched a manager bad mouth someone that wasnt present to the cashier while i was standing there waiting to check out. Like hello its a customer can that un professional conversation happen after she finishes my transaction. Nope she just kept talking like i wasnt there

This is a relatively new store to Decatur, I had heard great things about their deal in the months before they opened. We visited within a couple weeks of their opening. It was impressive, then we went back about six months later. Now there are more bare shelves and empty floorspace than items worth buying. Its unlikely Ill be back.

Bargain hunt in decatur is my new favorite shopping place

They have a huge variety of items. They also have quite a bit of junk. I mean just trash. Many broken items on the shelves. Random open boxes with like two out of ten items in it. Some things just seem to be randomly priced. One example is a coffee mug. One was on the shelf for 2 dollars. The exact same mug a few aisles away was priced 6 dollars. They do have some great items for a great price though. If you can look and take the time you may find a crazy good bargain.

You look at the ticket on the item then check the chart to see what percent of the original price the item is reduced.They carry seasonal items, clothing, bedding, rugs, accessories,shoes and an assortment of other items.The store is usually organized and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

You can find treasures here but you need to be a intense shopper who is willing to go through a lot of merchandise to find their treasures.

Much better than the average dirt cheap store. Clean store, lots of overstock items and closeouts. They have a wide selection of most normal items. Its worth a stop, its better to find item vs. look for items some of the department items are in other locations.

Very disorganized..with the racks just crammed full so you cant really look through items. Theres only 2 changing rooms; one unisex then one mens which made no sense to me..either way they both had pretty long lines at them(of only women) Also, they only had 1 register open to check folks out which also had a long line. Found a neat shirt for only 3 bucks though(ended up being my only purchase. Could be a neat store..just needs better management in there, I guess to get it better organized.

Good prices. Carry all different things. They now sell cheap food items there. Got a walking dead shirt for 3 bucks. Sign up on their email list so I know what kind of sales they are is being for the week.

Pretty good deals. They take a percentage off of the prices after the product has sat on the shelves a while. However, I have seen some products be restickered after setting a long time. Which is pretty sneaky. Thats the only reason I knocked off 2 stars.

The cashier associates are always very pleasant and helpful. However there is one team lead employee that can just just make your whole shopping experience very unpleasant. Its happened with myself and Ive seen it happen with other customers. They employees can be seen cringing when having to get her to fix an issue. She has no people personality. Maybe working with the public isnt the job for her. Just one opinion of one customer.

Friendly staff but very unorganized store 😞 3 hours spent and only made it through half the store. And many of the bargains are the same or more than buying them online. I did find a few good things but for the 5 items I left with, 3 hours spent is definitely not a bargain.

Good discounts here. Friendly cashier and staff. A little bit if everything to choose from. Many nane brand clothing items. Great selection of summer seasonal merchandise. Plenty of extras.

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We had lots of great options with a variety of prices. The workers were super friendly and made shte I felt welcome during my visit. We both ended up buying multiple articles of clothing for ourselves, and even ended up getting some early christmas shopping done! Great store, will definitely be back!

Great place to go when you have no particular need. It never seems to have what Im ACTUALLY looking for when I go in, but I often run into some random cool stuff I could use or wanted that I wasnt actually looking for.

I asked a manager about items not having the markdown stickers any longer and she said they are no longer doing that. SO, the items I had been waiting to be marked down, would not be. Saying that the items would already come at a discounted price.

Decatur AL Bargain Hunt is a lot larger and has a lot more items then Cullmans does. I absolutely love it! The only quarrel i have is that they took away the color Price tagging scheme.
