Used to be a great local place to get your odd nut and bolt needs that you couldn’t get anywhere else in town. Now they won’t talk to you unless you have a account. RIP Decatur Bolt. Good luck competing with Fastenall

AMAZING!! Decatur Bolt Company saved the day!! I was in urgent need of some supplies for my house...some last minute items, but they were closing. I explained the situation and they KINDLY stayed after hours and went through my list to help me find what I needed. Their prices are VERY reasonable and actually a lot lower than other places I’ve shopped. THESE PEOPLE TRULY CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. From now on, all my business will be done here. Used to love this place but now they make you spend a minimum of $10 even if ya only need one bolt. Everything is way overpriced like $16 for a pair of small Irwin needle nose pliars and $18 for some tool wipes... I found the bolts I needed at AutoZone for $2. Guess Decatur Bolt doesnt enjoy the general public as Decatur Illinois is broke and dont appreciate $10 minimum purchases when were trying to fix something for as least as possible. Shop online avoid this place, China has free shipping...

You need one bolt you dont have to buy a box like most places. You can buy just what you need.

I try and buy local when I can, however, Decatur bolt almost never has enough of what I need in stock. If I have to order something and wait for it to arrive then why would I pay 3 times the price of buying online?
