My boyfriend was needing a new AC Unit. I found Higdon Services on the the internet and scheduled them to come out to his house to give a quote based on their reviews. The following day we met with Kyle, received a quote, and a week later came the install. From quote to install they were very professional! Since them installing my boyfriends system, I had a problem at my home on the weekend. Kyle came out, by passed something so I would have air until Monday morning. A little after 8am Kyle showed up and installed a relay and within an hour I had air flow again!If you are needing to find someone to install or repair your unit, do not hesitate to call them. Excellent service and very well trained. I had called all over Huntsville and Decatur for natural gas log repair and only found one company in Huntsville that was booked through March. Called yesterday (11/10) due to my A/C not working. They were here within the hour and had diagnosed the issue. They were able to other the part next day and installed it today (11/11). They didnt try to sell me anything other than the repair needed. I will continue to us them anytime I have AC issues.

I felt comfortable from the time I met Kyle to provide an estimate of what was required to replace my AC system. The team arrived on time ready to do the work that we negotiated. The first estimate from the company recommended by a Home Warranty company said I had to replace a smaller door to the attic. Higdons recommendation was to disassemble and replace the door, if necessary. Turns out, all that was required was t remove the door fro the hinge. The electric switch on my gas logs stopped working - I wasnt sure who to contact to fix it, but Higdon was definitely the right call. I would like to take a minute to recognize the outstanding work that Kyle and Justin did for us over the last week. We are in the process of selling our home and one of the items that needed to be repaired was our 12 year old gas log fireplace. I am very happy with my experience with Higdon Service. My air conditioner quit last month. It was blazing hot outside, and I had no idea who to call since Id never had a major issue with my air before, so I Googled local air repair services and started calling the listings. Higdon was the third on my list and they were the only ones to immediately call me back and come to check things out. Turns out I needed a new unit (my old one was 18 1/2 years old). I have used higdon since 2016 when they put 2 new units in my house. Part of my house, an addition, had no heating or cooling or even ductwork. They installed the 2 separate units as planned, cleaned up from cutting the ceiling to put in registers and even cut me an access to my attic which I did not have before.
