09/22/2021 Decatur, AL Blue Dolphin store that I have used for over 25 years, a nice young man was busy with a customer. I found algaecide for my pool and looked for an o ring for my pump filter. It was not on the wall with other pool equipment, but I saw the one I needed in another room. When I came in, a blonde older woman was making copies and rudely told me I was not allowed back there. I put the part back on the wall and asked her to show me a sign stating that room was for employees only. She grabbed a plastic floor sign behind the door, and said here it is! The sign was NOT there when I entered the forbidden room.Maybe she was having a bad day, but I will never purchase anything from this store!

Actually, I would rate them 0 stars if I had the option to. The service is terrible, and employees are very rude. They will happily sell you products you dont need. Sometimes, those products make your pool worse instead of better. When I had an issue with service, I was told they wouldnt come back to my house. My neighbor had a bad experience as well. She was sold a product that turned her pool a murky green. When she went to the store to discuss it, they told her to leave the store. She is a very sweet person that wasnt making a scene. They lost both of our business as a result. I will never step foot in their store in Decatur, Alabama again, and she wont either.

This is from my experience working as part of Blue Dolphins pool installation team. Distribution always get equipment out to the clients in a timely manner and with minimal invasiveness. Communication between the customer and Blue Dolphin is very open, and the client is always well-informed on how to maintain their pool. If youre looking to buy an above-ground pool, Blue Dolphin is quite simply the best choice for longevity and quality.

My wife and I hired Blue Dolphin to build a pool for us. The entire process was great to be apart of. The excavation was precise, they used the dirt from the hole to fill in low spots on our property. The concrete work (sub contractors) Hernandez Concrete, were excellent, they were very nice to us and our property, answering any questions or concerns we had. Blue Dolphin was on the ball the entire job, overseeing every detail. I really want to thank Jason for his help with planning and see the project thru to the end. If I could haven given them 6 stars I would have. Our pool is beautiful and easy to maintain. I would recommend Blue Dolphin for any of your pool needs.

They test our pool chemicals and are great at explaining what the results mean. We also buy products from them and get great deals. Everyone is helpful and always really nice when we visit the Decatur location. Highly recommend this store for pool needs!

They are just really good people. They took the time to teach me how to replace my seal on the impeller and I purchased an extra so I can do it myself next time...about every 5 years, but who knows? Things just break with no warning. Great looking store too and young people working which is a great thing to see nowadays.

New to Pool ownership, 10 year old pool. Blue Dolphin has been wonderful working with me. I have followed their instructions with no problems. I take in samples for testing and do buy any recommended chemicals there. Had one service call, was very satisfied with result.

I bought a Polaris 360 from them. After hours of trying to get it to perform as is should and couldnt, I contacted BD. They sent a service guy to my home to help me and I live about an hr away! Excellent service and expert knowledge is what you should expect when dealing with this company. They really go above and beyond to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase. 5 Stars all the way!!!

This is a place you can trust with all your pool needs. Blue dolphin installed our inground pool back in 2007 and weve been faithful customers since. Great customer service and we think a good value on the pool producproducts also.

Its a great place and prices are as good or better than anyone else for pool chemicals.

Just bought a 27 inch above ground pool had it installed two days ago very happy so far got a pretty good price on the pool very friendly staff at blue dolphin the installer Jeremy was very friendly and very helpful

I went to this place to get my pool set for summer. I followed all of their instructions on getting my pool back in balance but when I added the third element of their regiment to the pool the water turned a nasty dark green in color. Having had pools before in other areas of the country including Alabama this muck looked like a pool that had not been cared for. Previous to adding their chemicals the pool was pristine and my friends and I were looking forward to a joyful afternoon of fun in the pool.The service people put all of the blame on me and got VERY RUDE and in my face about the whole mess which was their fault.On a scale of 1 - 10 I would give this Blue Dolphin store a o (Zero) for customer service.
