Great shop! They got me in last minute and got the work done on time for a fair price. Rod is great to work with. I highly recommend MSP!
Amazing shop and now I wont go any where else. They have worked on my bike twice now and both experiences were excellent. Work was completed quickly, prices are very reasonable and were provided up front, and absolutely no issues since. They even noticed another shop had incorrectly installed heated grips and fixed the problem for me. Thank you!
Really good - professionally run shop. Very good communication, fair pricing, ultra ability and great results. Couldn’t have asked for more.
A bit of background. I have two bikes I purchased used as the second owner, a 2002 Ducati SS 750 and a 2007 Suzuki Bandit 1250. Both bikes had been fairly well maintained physically but had both sat for quite some time and were well overdue for maintenance. After doing some serious research online, I called up MSP. The first thing that had me convinced that they were the right place was the amount of time they spent just on the phone when I told them of the issues I was having. Rather than try and get off the phone as quickly as possible, they asked many questions and gave me some estimates, which as I will get to later were very well priced and accurate.I took the Bandit in thinking that the starter was bad. This would have not have been a crazy expensive fix but rather than take me for the money, they figured out that it was a simple fix and charged me much less than it would have been for a replaced starter. While I am not savvy when it comes to bikes, I do work on all of my own vehicles and know a thing or two when it comes to a quality shop. Once they had the bike running without needing to be bump started, they notified me of other issues that needed attention and told me what the costs would be beforehand. And this was not a singular call; they kept me updated all along the way in multiple phases. All in all, I spent very little money when you consider what I got. This place does NOT do any crazy markups on parts. The battery was actually cheaper through them than it was when I bought one 4 years prior myself. Again, this is a sign of a quality shop. Additionally, there was an issue with the killswitch which was causing the bike to bog down during acceleration. I brought the bike back a week after getting it back and they fixed it on the spot at no charge to me. This is the kind of service that creates strong brand loyalty and word of mouth recommendations.I cannot recommend MSP Cycles enough. This will be the only shop I take any of my bikes to for many years to come. The staff are friendly yet very professional. They know when to make small talk and when to get you on your way. There is not a single thing I would rate poorly with both of my experiences taking my bikes to them.
Lazy. Not professional. Can’t recommend. Wouldn’t choose again unless time was a factor.
Good good people got me back on the road fast bike feels superb just my luck now that is running perfect everyday is raining LOL Ill be more than happy to go back to MSP I hope I dont have to but good price fast working cool guys told me stuff about my bike I never knew if you ever decide to take your bike to Mega helmet kill yourself thank you MSP
This is the ultimate shop to bring your motorcycle to good work customer service excellent knowledge and prices are awsome the only one for my Hayabusa
Been going to MSP for years, they are: highly skilled, experienced, honest and fantastic team of people. This is the most reliable motorcycle repair shop in the Greater Atlanta Area. They are not the cheapest, but they do work once and do it right the first time and thus their fair pricing is well worth it to me.
Great service great customer service. very knowledgeable about motorcycles. Rob and Brad and othet employees do an outstanding job. thank you
Quality work. Fast turnaround. Recommended
I call them on Monday and I ask them if they can work on my bike, R/R fearing and rear set. They told me yes, bring it over. On Wednesday they call me and told they cannot get parts on my 2020 Hayabusa. I just wish they have told me that on Monday. I waited my time. Not happy about that, but look I do appreciate their honesty. Some shops will attempt work on it and screw things up not do it right than ask to pay them.
Great example of what a shop should be, excellent work, service etc...
Great service, but super busy.
The estimate they gave me was around $800, when the finished it was a little over $500, so I feel the do great work and are honest
No complaints, my bike was rear ended while parked and they gave me a pretty accurate estimate. A tower was also recommended which I appreciated and ended up using. They communicated everything clearly and took the time to answer any questions I had. Overall felt like a smooth business transaction and glad they made the accident look like it never happened.
Had a great experience with the staff. They were courteous and gave me an accurate assessment of the damage to my bike. Unfortunately they couldn’t work on it as the damage was extensive
I’ve been knowing these guys for decades. They are among the best I’ve ever seen. They are fast, fair and honest. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my street bike, dirt tracker, or road racer to them.DD
These guys rock! Took my Honda Shadow (Lucille) for tire change. They also suggested front pad brake change. They showed me they were genuinely concerned about the bikes performance and safety. The service got done on timely manner and the bike runs perfectly.Good customer service, the men are very friendly. Definitely recommend them to my fellow bikers.
Great customer service
Excellent work, very reasonable pricing, very knowledgeable staff. They give excellent recommendations for items they find with their inspections.Bike came back running better than it has in a long time!
Tho I didn’t get or pay for service they were able to point me in the right direction and where honest
My business was denied about 2 days ago due to a selfish review of mines. Understandable. MSP stated they didn’t change the brand of tires I had purchased. I didn’t look at it from a business standpoint by them saying the brand I chose where unreliable or whatever the case may be. And that it would look bad on their behalf if I was to go down or anything. I felt as though they should’ve changed them anyway simply because they’re a motorcycle shop. Just because I disagreed with THEIR policies shouldn’t have made me attempt to tarnish their business name. Therefor I publicly apologize to the guys over at MSP for the childish review. Wether we never do business I feel like these guys are probably the best to go to besides a dealership. They won’t accept what they can’t fix or feel is unsafe to ride and I’m sure they will hold your bike hostage until it’s safe. 9/10 they know what they’re talking about so any advice or recommendations they give you should take note of it 100%
Very straightforward bunch of people who love to ride, so they approach it maybe a little differently from a simple wrench-turner. Theyll point out where youll need work later, and how to avoid trouble before it happens and save a few bucks. The shop is clean and they clearly care about doing good work.
This place customer service is terrible. When you walk in, they don’t greet you. When you ask a question, they act like you’re getting on their nerves. They don’t try to help you find what you’re searching for. I would not recommend anyone to this place unless they want to feel mistreated. Just by reading some of the other reviews especially the ones they answered ( all the low reviews) says a lot about their character. Defense mode. I ride a Harley Davidson and should have gone bck to a Harley Davidson for the answers I needed. Great customer service goes a long way with the seller and the buyer. When both have great attitudes, great things happen. I’ll be awaiting your comment.
This shop defies the notorious mechanics advantage rhetoric. While they are extremely knowledgeable, they were nice, informative, and did not take advantage of my inexperience/lack of knowledge to charge me extra. They understand that their work keeps us safe on the road, and the quality they maintain shows it.Its about a 30 minute commute for me but I only take my bikes here.Highly recommended.
Freddy and his guys are highly knowledgeable, give excellent prices, and will shoot it straight on what youre looking at without high pressure sales tactics. Id recommend them to every one of my friends as the best place to take your motorcycle anywhere near Atlanta!
Had a weird problem with my CBR929RR - Rod suggested what it might be and was right. Paul did the work and now my bike runs and rides better than new. Overall cost was even better than I expected. Good communication; excellent knowledge; no other motorcycle shop in Atlanta for me. I have been riding since the 70s and this shop is as good as they come.
Great staff. These people will go the extra mile for you. I called everyone that sold new or used parts. Everyone wanted to order it. MSP was the only place in 40+ miles that had my part! Thank God! And they didnt over charge me. :) I will be a returning customer.
Excellent alternative to the dealerships for Triumph service. Very knowledgeable full-service motorcycle shop.
I have been looking for a local shop with a good group of knowledgeable, and helpful guys to do the work on my 2011 BMW S1000rr. They are extremely detailed and thorough in there work. I felt like they really enjoyed what there doing and take pride in servicing customers. Pricing was also extremely fair although i wouldnt mind paying more for a shop of this caliber. I will definitely be returning to them for all my service needs.
I took my motorcycle in to get an alignment. All they did was charge me $40 and tell me that I need new handlebars. The handle bars were not the problem. The handle bar clamps and forks were in a different direction than the wheel, not the handle bars. I got my bike back the same state it was in what it was brought in. They didnt do anything but look at it.
Ive gone to these guys several times and they are always helpful. Ive even called in when Im at an auto store buying brake fluid and they walked me through what fluid I needed. Theyll price out parts for you very reasonably and every time Ive left my bike with them, theyve been timely turning it around.
These fellows are very serious about the sport. It is more that just a business - job. I carries on to their work. The work I had done was excellent. If you are committed to the sport and want to keep your bikes in excellent condition these are the fellows.
Next and fast place to hey your bike done. The people that work there are really nice and treat their customers good.
Being New to the R1 world, I didnt know where to get my R1 fix at.So I saw MSP on here red the reviews. So I decide to give this shop a chance and Im glad did.. I had to be patience because were behind, but I taking my R1 back in the offseason to get something things take care.. But Over all this Shop lives up to its review..Thanks MSP
This shop is one of the best. They take excellent care of their customers! Thank you MSP for being so AWESOME!!ChristiCycle Worthy Towing
Theyre sign says Dyno-Tuning but when I called they said they no longer do dyno-tuning. Everyone I call abs talk to seem nice tho.
.Don’t recall the last time I did a review. However when Great credit is due it must be given. Bottom line...took my bike up to MSP Cycle’s to get my Ducati desmo service done and wow!!! These guys Gave me top-notch customer service and craftsmanship that is rare to find nowadays. I bought my bike at 8000 miles and now in 19,000 it runs better than the first day I rode it up. Pricing was fair and these guys know what they’re talking about. Thank you again Gentleman for awesome job!
Guys were awesome, kept me informed about the parts, when they arrived, and were super timely with my small repairs. Had my CBR300 worked on. Don’t know if many places within the perimeter that’ll do what they do. Appreciate it!
Fantastic and knowledgeable service!
MSP have been doing all the maintenance on my bike for the last 4 years, and every time I pick up my bike, it rides so much nicer than when I brought it in. Their suggestions, such as which tires to use, to change sprockets for smaller or larger ones, have always resulted in tangible improvements. They are exactly what I desire from every shop: good work, fair price, good advise and honesty.
I was lucky enough to find MSP Cycle as my first motorcycle shop. Five years later, Ive never been let down by them once. They’ve been the only shop to work on the four motorcycles that I’ve owned, and I couldn’t imagine taking my bikes anywhere else. All of the people that I’ve talked to at MSP have a real passion for motorcycles. You can immediately tell just how passionate they are about bikes as soon as you start talking to them about anything bike related. I have gone to their shop on multiple occasions to ask for motorcycle advice and they always welcome me in with a smile and take the time to help me out. With their combined riding experiences, I have found their advice on bike modifications invaluable. The guys there are honest and won’t suggest any work that your bike doesn’t need. In fact, I learned the hard way to take whatever maintenance advice that they offer. I ran into some engine issues on my first motorcycle when I didn’t replace a cam chain tensioner when they had suggested replacing it.As a side note, I went through multiple auto shops before I found an auto shop with anything near the quality and professionalism that I have always encountered at MSP Cycle. If you’re looking for an honest and friendly motorcycle shop, I can’t recommend anywhere other than MSP.
They did a good job on my bike. Thank you.
MSP was the second shop to work on my VMAX carburetor issue. I paid several hundred dollars to a MC shop in Marietta which wasted my money and time. They diagnosed the problem and got the bike running perfect. They were honest with the price and on time. So happy they are close by and will use them for all my motorcycle issues.
These guys will shoot it straight and stand behind their work. Ive had simple things like tire changes and more complex carb issues that took time to resolve the right way. Each time they have been conservative with their estimate and kept their word. If you ever call or stop by and there is a wait, there is a reason and its well worth it to work with a shop that takes pride in what they do.
I was turned away on two separate occasions. Once was a chain replacement and once for a bad vacuum hose. I drive a 98 Honda, was told we dont work on bikes that old. I guess they are doing ok if they can turn turn away customers like that.
Can you guys fix z125pro? I don’t know where to find!!!
Great place. They took my older Ducati in after I was told by BMW/Hus that it would be better to scrap the bike. A week later I was back on the road.
Great shop! Took my cbr1000 for fork rebuild and general maintenance and my bike has never felt tighter. My go to spot in Atlanta now for all my bike parts and work.
Best shop in town! Theyve been servicing all of my bikes for 10 years. Super knowledgeable, extra friendly!!
Brought my R6 in that I just purchased with a bad wiring issue, they were able to fix all of my problems and then some. Pricing was fair, and when I took a long lunch from work to pick it up and they found my rear tire had a slow leak and replaced it in under 30 minutes and got me back to work on time. There isnt enough great things I can say about my experience will bring my bikes back for all of there services.
Best shop in ATL and the only shop I trust to touch my bike. Rod is a good guy and will treat you right.
Rod and the boys are amazing. They go the extra mile and really know their stuff. One of the best repair shops in town - Wendy Hogg
Lets you know everything up front no gimmicks to get your bike back on the road safely and quick
Super rude... I do not recommend this store. very unprofessional.. they do not admit if they make a mistake and rude rude rude people.. Ill never ever go back. I wish I could rate zero stars..
Very customer friendlyEasy to work with youOn ins claims
Took my motorcycle that had been sitting around over the winter to MSP Cycle today to get my carburator flushed. Spoke to someone on the phone who told me it would be a few hundred dollars, closer to $500. Its a lot of money but I like riding so I was willing to pay for that. Took my bike over and when the guy I had spoken to earlier took a look at my bike he said that he wouldnt do anything unless I spent a $1000 to buy a new tire and fix some other things.Get this, he REFUSED to even fix my carburator and told me to come back when I could spend a $1000!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?Talk about no customer service. I could not believe it. The message to me is that you need to spend a lot of money at MSP to get them to work on your bike. Well, I can tell you that I nor any of my friends and family will go to MSP.
If they wanted to rip someone off I would be the ideal candidate. I know to ride a motorcycle, but have no earthly idea how to fix one up. I went there with a gear shift problem. After they looked at it they called me back saying that all they had to do was bend the shaft back and charged me peanuts. I guess I am trying to say.. they seem to run an honest shop and that I appreciate it.
I was lucky to have a fellow Ducati rider recommend this shop to me when I got my first Monster. This recommendation has proven to be priceless because over the last few years coming to MSP has saved me money, time, and frustration compared to what my experiences have been with the dealerships around here. They have taken great care of my daily commuting 40k+mile Ducati Monster since its first maintenance, as well as doing a superb job of race preparation and suspension services on my Triumph 675.At this point I trust the guys at MSP to the point that I would rather pay to have them perform warranty work than trust any of the local dealers. They are meticulous about looking over your bike and will point out things you would have never noticed and are extremely knowledgeable on all things motorcycle related except Harleys from what I can tell.
Brought motorcycle to msp to repair. The owner was playing on his phone and seemed to have the attention span of s high schooler. When the repairs were too hard they said that they didnt want to work on the bike. I would stay away from this place unless you want them to walk out on you. Just remember when the going gets tough msp walks out
Great motorcycle shop, very honest and fair prices. Will only take my bike there from now on.
Great guys with proper skills who love bikes and charge reasonably.
Got my BST carbon fiber wheels installed on my Ducati panigale and they did great work awesome price!! This is my new one stop shop for my Duk!!
Had some service done on my BMW F700 GS and Kawasaki KL250. Not major sevice, tires, oil change and chain. very clean shop, nice folks and knowledgeable. I will be back for major service as well!
I Been with MSP Cycle for years. I have No negative complaints. Excellent Company!
Not many bike shops, let alone good bike shops in the metro Atlanta area. The guys at MSP are not some hip motorcycle retail sales shop that look cool but dont know bikes. These guys are the real mccoy when it comes to tuning and motorcycle maintenance and repair. On top of that, they are honest. In fact, if they are unfamiliar (unlikely) with something, they will not pretend to know and experiment with your bike just to gain your business. They dont have the time for that and neither do you. Their knowledge and expertise is extensive and they work without delay. In fact, after changing my friends back tire on his Yamaha FJR, complete with hard side bags, with the correct size and brand to match his front tire in less than 15mins on a Saturday morning, he was an instant customer. Oh, and we showed up unannounced. The price for the tire and labor were dead on. No sticker shock. Ask for Brad or Rod and they will take care of you.
Far away from me but pretty good work cool dudes
Excellent service and expertise on all Multistrada 1200 models
If you have a bad experience here, you should throw your unsalvageable bike away and never ride again. You should not own a motorcycle. If you ARE a serious rider, there is no better shop in town. Honest, highly skilled, reasonably priced... all that praise in other reviews. Heres the thing: while some motorcycles, say most Honda models, are highly reliable and predictable, other bikes might have more soul. If you want something cool, like some Triumphs, or a Guzzi, or a high-end Ducati, the guys at MSP make it possible to ride such a thing without always wondering whether your shop really knows how to work on it. And if you have a high-end Japanese bike, say an RR or R1, Rod and company can help you take care of it as well.
Fantastic customer service!
Fast service, great communication, no hassle.
So glad to have found these guys. Absolute pros!
Great service, have been going to them since 2007 never have had any issues.Support your local mechanic.Never go to the dealership.
I have been riding since the Honda Mini Trail 50 days I am now 58. I have NEVER had a shop work with me and kept me in the loop like these guys. I was having issues with my Ducati 796. I was referred by a friend who also owns a Duc. Do I owe him!! I contact them by email over the Holidays giving a brief description of my troubles. I received an email back within the day assuring me they could get me fixed up but where closed for the Holiday Season but to bring it in on Monday Jan. 4th. Within two days I was back up and running EXCEEDING well. Best service I have ever experienced, Very fair pricing, down to earth guys who answered all my questions. The mechanic and owner both came out to the showroom to review everything they had done. I wish I had known about MSP when I had my other other bikes as they work on most everything. Give them an oppertunity you will not regret it!!!!!!!!
For the weekend racer and daily commute alike- MSP has the tools and expertise to keep your bike running at its best. When one enters the showroom its obvious by the many #1 WERA number plates and trophies that line the walls of the showroom that theyve seen their share of racing machines. They offer race prep services, they keep race and race-oriented tires in stock, and they stock most of the consumable items for todays 600-class, liter-class, and Ducati motorcycles. They also stock levers and levers and small parts for those occasional get-offs and accessories for when you need to add a little farkle to set your bike off from others at the local gathering spot.None of my six bikes fall within MSPs target market but they are always more than willing to service my bike when I need a chain, tires, or need to order parts. They also have a Dynojet dynamometer in-house and have performed dyno tuning work on one of my bikes.Their staff is friendly and when I call someone always picks up the phone within a couple of rings. The combined dealership knowledge at MSP covers many brands and the mechanics have the formal training to back it up.For these reasons MSP is the only shop that gets my dollar.
Excellent service for my Aprilia RSV1000
I am sorry for this review. I had been taking my V Star there for 5 years. At the 12K service they synced my carbs and adjusted my valves. 2500+ miles later I thought I had gotten bad gas so I took it back in and when I asked them to drain the tank, drain the carbs and replace the fuel filter I was told that I was “diagnosing my bike in his shop, it was still not running properly” and they had “put it outside, had moved on to other bikes and would work on it again in two days”. I went and picked up the bike, paid them for the work done and took it to a dealer. The dealer stated it had only been running on one carb and re-synced them. The dealer had to replace the rubber block-off tube at the top of the carbs where the vacuum gauge plugs in as it had been torn (1st part of vacuum leak); the dealer noted that the hose running side to side below the air box had been misrouted, that two others had not been re-connected (more vacuum leak) and that there were cracks running all the way through the intake boots at the base of both carbs (which should have been replaced at the 12k service- More vacuum leak).I told the dealer that the valve tappet cover was spitting oil onto my side cover. The dealer noted that two of the bolts were stripped and that the o-ring had not been replaced during the aforementioned 12K service. After they had finished the 12K service I asked this shop to balance my front tire and was told that “tire balance doesn’t come in to play until you hit 90 miles on hour.” The dealer noted that it was out of balance and had numerous loose spokes.
These guys know bike. They will spend time talking with you about your life and what you want to improve about it.
Mended a batter, and they had it charged and waiting doe me.
The best.
They dont have good customer service so beware!
No service or customer communication skills
Thanks for Fix my Motorcycle
Unparalleled experience
Good people
