Great store with a nice friendly staff. Went in shopping to get some duck boots, and walked out with exactly what I was looking for. The guy in the show section was swamped, but he remained very professional, and friendly. At check out they had a very long line, but it went so quick with the 5 or 6 registers they had open. All and all a great experience, can’t wait to return ...

I wasnt familiar with this store until I visited MA. I am so glad I now know of it. Lots of camping gear, fishing, hiking, clothes for adults, and kids.

Great store and everyone is very helpful. This store feels like an extension of the Flagship store in Freeport, Maine. Whenever we visit an L.L. Bean store, it is very rare that we walk away without purchasing any items. I bought a backpack that I needed and also a heavy duty winter coat. The quality is top-notch, the pricing is very competitive to The North Face and Patagonia. The people at L.L. Bean are always very helpful. Thanks and we’ll be back soon!

Good outdoor stuff. Very pricy

Called ahead from South Shore Plaza to have shoes put aside. Arrived and Customer Service had them waiting. Tried them on and left!Also, found an identical swimsuit at LL Bean to one I had just purchased. It was $20 less at LL Bean. Going to return the $$ suit!

LL bean is great. The products are very quality and made to last without being overly expensive. The customer service is also excellent!

They had the sock boots that my wife lovingly calls them! I bought her three pairs of L.L. Beans boot socks so I could now where my own with having to constantly remove them from my wifes sock drawer. Staff was friendly and the store was laid out nicely and easy to shop.

If you’re looking to be in and out this is not the place.

Its basically a clothing store. Very little camping or backpacking equipment.

Returned something I was actually wearing with ease, no questions asked. Got a new beautiful coat! Also, got a mask, gloves and hat, all on sale! Lovely staff!

Just went in there today to get new boots for winter. I wear leg braces so finding shoes/boots is a process. Both employees that helped me in the shoe section were patient, kind and helpful when trying to figure out what would work for me. Thank you for making me feel comfortable and ready for winter! Definitely also felt safe with the covid precautions as well.

Seemed to be following all social distancing and employees wiping down surfaces several times during my most recent shopping trip. Didnt have the item I came in for but found many other things I needed. This had always been a good place to stock up. My beanboots have lasted over 4 years through some tough winters!

Ll bean with no competition

An outdoor themed clothing store chock full of that famous L. L. Bean sportswear. Not as hard core wilderness ready as the parent company but a great place for the smartly dressed outdoors person. Highlights include an information desk(on local outdoor activities), footwear department, light camping/fishing goods and nice clothing.

Easy buy and easy return. Following all COVID-19 regulations and feel very comfortable in store.

This store had sanitizer right at the entrance, stood on footprints 6 ft apart, I watched the store clerks clean the counters and credit card machines after each purchase. That was so gratifying to see. The staff were very helpful, and informative.

Large store, helpful staff. In the middle of a large outdoor mall, so parking and the crowds can be annoying.

Very bad customer service for an exchange on a faulty item. Had to jump through hoops and the manager Quyen was extremely rude. I had to call corporate offices to have the matter resolved. Not the L.L. Bean I have come to expect.

We went in to buy a kayak, but sure which one would be best. The woman who helped us didnt try upselling, she listened and we left feeling confident we bought the right kayak for us. Great customer service!!

Nice store layout, but it was a little frustrating to have half the women stuff downstairs and the rest upstairs. Lots of selection available and organized sale rack. All the sales people were busy on the registers, so there was no one on the floor to ask questions.

Good quality casual clothing at decent prices and friendly staff make LLBean a pleasure to shop no matter what the location. This store is in a busy mall with a lot of cars and people: fairly typical for the Boston area. Worth checking on when in the area to see what is in stock. Be prepared for lines on weekends.

Excellent experience at this store! Shout out to Charlotte at the check-out who was extremely helpful and super nice! She was very patient in helping me order a coat that was not available in my size on the floor. Given that it is the holidays the coat was unavailable in a few places but she tracked it down and made sure I got the right size, color and price! She was extremely knowledgeable and went out of her way to make for a good experience, thank you Charlotte! I love my new coat 😊

Every time I shop here, I am assisted by staff who are more than helpful and courteous. A few years ago, I recall looking for an item that was out of season, and the staff person contacted the main office to check availability and ordered it for me. You could not ask for better service. Also, the store is meticulously neat and clean.

Zero sales help. Not terribly crowded.

Always a super long line as well as quality just not the same as it once was. JCrew, Orvis, or even Eddie Bauer is also in the plaza for similar products and staff is readily available. Would check those places first to avoid the line.

Its a LL Bean - nice and clean, the staff is always helpful, and the products are pricey but good quality. The worst part is that parking is always a nightmare, but they cant do much about that.

Tried to return a pair of $79. dollar slippers that the fur came off of, they are 2 years old. When they looked it up in the computer I was told it was normal wear and tear! Needless to say I was not happy. But I love my slippers even though there falling apart before their time.

So grateful for LL Beans great service. I hoped the store would have a particular product so I phoned. They had it, and held it for me at the register so I could pick it up quickly. Exactly what I needed!Dont know if public transit is available for this store. The parking here is difficult. I dont think it would be easy to bike here, or to lock a bike here. The store itself is great.

We went to L.L. Bean looking for an upgrade to our Cross Country skiing equipment. Initially the staff was lacking in knowledge about their inventory, but when their expert became available all our questions were answered and we acquired 2 great packages of equipment.

They have pretty good inventory and good customer service.

As I have said in a review for the Burlington, MA location - nothing can beet the flagship store in Freeport, Maine, but this one certainly beats the Burlington location and has a fantastic selection of flies, fishing gear and much more space in my opinion.The only this that is tough about here, and it has nothing to do with L.L. Bean at all, is the parking situation. While there is a private lot and parking garage, when Legacy Place is busy in general, you should be prepared to go on your own hiking trip through the lot to get to to the store.The staff is great, as is the case with L.L. Bean in general, and everything is where you would expect to find it, neat and organized.

This is like an LL Bean Super-Store. The downstairs is filled with outdoors gear (kayaks, bikes, fishing, boots, hiking, camping, etc.) and the upstairs is clothing and some furniture.The have evening classes (flyfishing, map reading, etc.) that I dont have any experience with, but its a nice option for people that live closer.

Really good service as youd expect from an LLBean. But its a surprisingly small selection for such a big store. Also, the parking lot is a nightmare.

I find the customer service of LL Bean in Legacy Place, Dedham MA is GREAT really. The store is clean and well stocked, the staff are helpful but not at all trying to get you to buy something you are looking at. They seem to be stocking shelves and neatening up most of time. IF I have questions they have the answers and if not they find someone who does. I love that we have a LL Bean store nearby.

Great store with tons of options for clothing, swimwear, outdoor gear, luggage, and home decor. The staff arent very friendly, but the selection is good if you know what you want. It also beats trekking all the way to Maine for the flagship store!

I have shopped at this store many times. Its just a minute off I-95. The mall has a parking garage, but w/patience u can generally get a spot nearer the store on the open lot.The L.L. Bean store itself is modern and well planned and welcoming. Its a pleasure to just enter it and browse. (and usually buy)The staff is knowledgeable, efficient and eager to help, as Bean staff generally are. I have NEVER dealt w/a rude or unhelpful staff member at Dedham. I was surprised yesterday when there was no staff evident in Mens. I could have easily hailed one from another dept, but managed by myself. Yesterday was an exception. Usually staff are hovering about, often anticipating your question or need.So, all-in-all, I guarantee youll have a happy shopping experience at this Beans. Legacy Place itself is a pleasure. Its a compact boutique mall as opposed to the vast South Shore Plaza. Theres a Whole Foods practically next door, many high end shops and theres an excellent cinema.

My family has always appreciated LL Bean quality & style. While we usually make a day of it & take the Downeaster to Freeport, we tried to shop local this year. The retail staff in the Dedham store were knowledgeable & helpful (even tho obviously too few to handle boots on sale & black friday prep). We purchased gifts, boots & tried to buy coats. I was surprised to be told We dont carry plus size womens coats at this store; you have to go on line. Whichever inconsiderate & short sighted manager or merchandiser made that decision needs to hear that it feels like discrimination to be told Well gladly take your money, just dont actually come here to try things on & shop in our actual store. I hope other women show up & give you a piece of their minds, too.p.s. schedule an adequate number of people during busy times - they were doing their best & deserve beter treatment.

Come here for heartbreak.After looking at dozens of uncertain looking values on womens coats at Macys and Marshalls, and watching the single stitching on their coats fail within less than 2 weeks, we went to L.L. Bean to examine their offerings.While I was generally more comfortable with the overall quality offered, I was disappointed with their value. I had a Baxter State Parka that failed after 5 years, and if I am going to spend more than $250 for an active wear cold weather coat, I need 10 years from it.I will be looking at other retailers such as Merrells.

The merchandise is excellent and great prices. The day I went the staff on the floor was not helpful, down right crankie. The person behind the counter took about 40 minutes, snide comment about I was lucky to have my receipt & assured me that the items ordered on-line were on there way to me. I call 3 weeks later to find out that it was not ordered at all and another wait for the delivery.
