Be prepared to be talked about in Spanish and spoken to rudely. I went online to look at the menu for this place and went to the diner after deciding what I wanted. After placing my order the cashier/waitress rang me up and my order total was completely different from what I saw online. I showed her what was on their website and she argued with me saying “there’s nothing we can do about that”. She went to the other waitress and laughed at me and spoke in Spanish. Little did they know I speak and understand Spanish. Despite all that I placed my order and paid for my food.The only good thing I can say about this place is the food was good. The breakfast sandwich and hash browns were so delicious. And the chef’s were extremely nice. They were the only pleasant ons in the diner.All in all I suggest go for the food but don’t expect good customer service.
Great breakfast! My husband and I had a really nice time here. We sat outside even though there was a bee invasion and a tiny rain shower but we loved it anyway. The food was fresh and delicious and the service was friendly and fast.
Really nice place to get lunch or breakfast. Nice menu, friendly staff. Its nice to have a good diner spot in Dedham. Got a Tuna Melt and Tomato Basil soup. Soup was great, and felt homemade. Had real basil in it. Tuna Melt was thicc and delicious. Definitely going back.

Staff was very friendly it was a weekday morning and the food was out quick. I had the the hash and eggs which was delicious and made in house!!! Im willing to bet its super busy on the weekends but we will be returning!! Definitely worth a visit!!!!!

First and foremost delicious food!! Not a long wait to be seated. I ordered the big rig from the menu. The portions are fair and mouth watering delicious. One complaint I had was the view I had while eating. As I attached in the pictures I was diagonal from where the trash and dirty plates were placed. This was not a pretty view. This took 2 stars off from my review. Maybe I would consider giving this place another try but I dont know if I would like the same seating as before. Would be nice if manager reached out.

Very slow service, had to wait for my omelette for almost 50 minutes. The servers do not clean the tables right away so I spent good 20 minutes just looking at the trash left by some family and scattered on the floor. The food is very bland and your taste buds will be very disappointed.
Went for lunch on a Saturday around noon as a group of two. The restaurant was about half full inside and out and the hostess seated us pretty quickly. She brought us drinks and menus but from this point forward we were completely ignored. We couldnt even get the attention of a server to ask if something was going on causing a delay. They would walk right past us to other tables and seemed like they were understaffed. We tried to be patient and understanding but it started to feel a little like a prank or something. That being said after about 20 minutes we were fed up and left. My wife had time to go next door and get change so we could leave cash for the drinks and go while I waited and still no interaction with any service staff whatsoever. Not sure if they are badly understaffed or the staff working were particularly inattentive but either way the whole thing was disappointing. Wed heard such good things but after this bizarre experience we wont be back or be recommending it to anyone.
The first time I went to this place the food was good. Although my order was not accurate and my waitress completely neglected my table, I decided to come back and the second was just a nightmare. My food was not accurate at all, I’m not sure why my hollandaise sauce came on the side when I didn’t ask for it, I asked for the meat to be well done and everything came burnt including the English muffins and home fries. My waitress was not accommodating at all.Don’t waste your time and money.
This place has become our new Saturday morning breakfast spot. I hope Im not going to ruin it by telling you about it. The service is friendly and attentive and the food is very, very good.
Cant go wrong with the breakfast selection, their pancakes, in my humble opinion, are absolutely lovely! You wont be disappointed if you choose them!

Usually this place is great. However today I was eating here with my mother. They screwed her order up big time. Not only once but twice. When they finally brought her food I was done eating and she had to have it boxed up. Not a good image. They charged us FULL price.

Awesome Hash. So far the best around!!! Toast was excellent! Looked like home made bread. We got there just before they got slammed. When we walked In we had almost the whole place. When we walked out there was a line. Home fries were nice Nd crispy red bliss potatoes. The staff was super friendly. The owners should be proud!

Our second breakfast visit. Very nice French toast. Good service. On our first visit, the place was busier and quite noisy. At that time, we sat at a small table near the front. On our second visit, we sat in a booth towards the back, and that seemed quieter. But the booth seats are not very comfortable. The food was quite good both times. On my first visit, I had corned beef hash with egg, and it was so much food I could not finish my meal. I am sure we will go back again.
I have been in several times since the diner opened and I think today was my last visit.The food is delicious. The place looks great.Unfortunately I ordered soup and it did not come out hot. The service is also slow which is probably why my soup was cold.The womens room also needed attention.I work nearby so I would have loved to give a higher review.
We waited for over 45 minutes to get breakfast. It was not even that busy. They never came over and asked if we wanted more coffee. Guess one was enough. The food was actually really good. But the wait was not worth it.

Nice cozy place for breakfast. Went on and they said it would be a30 monies wait and 15 minutes later they text us for a table. Good service, friendly staff and food was ok. I would go back but next time I would check the Yelp app and register for a wait there some I only live ten minutes away

Fathers Day breakfast with my daughter and daughter in law and girlfriend. Wait was pretty long and will definitely use the online wait list in the future. Waitress was awesome and food was excellent. Computer system crashed shortly before we were ready to leave and poor girl was running ragged trying to get everyone settled. My daughter tallied the bill and ran to an ATM to get cash, waitre6was almost in tears with gratitude by us doing that as other patrons were giving her grief. We will definitely be eating here again.
First time there. Food was good but service was not. Not the waitresses fault. They seemed overwhelmed. Kept saying they would be back with something but never came back. Management need to get place more organized.

This place has great food, started going to their other location in W. Roxbury a few years back and it has become my.go to for breakfast. One of the few places I dont mind waiting 30 minutes to get a table when they are busy. Their corned beef hash is on point as is all their food. Finally a breakfast place worth going to.

Don’t get the brie grilled cheese! I never complain about food but this one I couldn’t let slide. When the food came to the table I noticed something wasn’t right. I was able to lift the top piece of bread right off and saw the tiniest spot of cheese. I told the waitress I think they forgot the cheese and she agreed. When she came back from the kitchen, she told me the cook said it had melted. But there was no cheese! Just 2 pieces of grilled bread... The waitress didn’t even offer if I wanted anything else. Don’t think I’ll be back unfortunately.
Awesome. Homemade corned beef hash was great. Thick French toast and bacon were amazing according to my 11 year old (and it looked it). Great people. Just starting up but can tell itll be a huge success!
The food is good but like others have said the service is awful. I stood waiting to be seated and one after another service people walk by. No one says hello, nothing. You also wait forever for them to come back after food has been dropped off. Not sure how this hasnt been addressed by ownership.

It was ok, but I wasnt too impressed.I had to ask for coffee. The waitress brought my food. Fine, but there was no fork on the table.Ordered 3 over easy, bacon, home fries. The eggs were small. The bacon was a bit thin and a little under cooked to my liking. Came with a slice of scallie bread done a bit too well. When I asked for jelly for the toast, I was brought two.The home fries were good. But I wasnt offered more coffee until I had finished my meal.
This place has great potential. wide menu selections and lots of locally sourced ingredients. where they need improvement is service and attention to detail. whatever they clean the tables with left it sticky. the floor by the bathroom was sticky. the toilet paper dispenser was empty with tp left on the back of the toilet. service wise, we never were offered refills on coffee, water was brought in a chipped glass, plates were cleared over 10 minutes before the check was brought over. food wise my friends omelette ingredients werent well dispersed in the omelette. my breakfast sandwich had one slice of bread twice the thickness if the other and the fillings were all in the center, and inch of edges around them. oh and the creamer pourer spilled everywhere, it doesnt have enough spout for a gentle pour. overall, i wouldnt recommend.

Omgosh sooo good! 🤤 I got “the grateful” - eggs, sausage, potatoes, and brioche french toast. My husband got an omelet and he loved his too! I totally recommend this place! Also, the pricing for all was perfect!

Went there this am for ten first time. I was not impressed! Wait stuff was running around. I observed a lot of what I would think is off dont want to offend anyone. I got my order brought it home and I was dissapointed will not be going back anytime soon.
Such a great find! Dedham center is adorable and grateful diner is too! They use Yelp waitlist to let you know what the wait would be and allow you to get your name on the list. Restaurant can be loud if busy but what place isnt? After reading previous reviews, I can see how other diners could think the staff is disorganized but I can also see how hard they are working to remedy that.We ordered hash and eggs and the grateful with gluten free French toast. The hash was delicious, clearly homemade corned beef and nice and crispy. Also a very generous size. The homefries were very crispy and tasty. Coffee was delicious and strong. The gf French toast was very good and they have real maple syrup. Yum!Our server very friendly and efficient and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful.

The first few times we went there in the summer the food was really good, but in the past few weeks the service has been slow, the food has been lukewarm or cold, there was a couple minor mistakes on my husbands order. So not sure whats going on now with them.
