Had an overhead door stuck open at the end of a work day. Called American Door, they sent out a crew for emergency work and had it fixed in no time at all. If your business uses any motorized doors or gates, you definitely want these guys in your corner. 5/5

Had issues with a rolling door, called the company and was able to speak to the owner right away. He had a crew on site the next day, identified the problem and replaced the slats. Problems solved within 12 hours! Owner called after job was done to follow up as well! Will recommend American Door to anyone! Very easy to work with! Great local company right here in Suffolk, great people!.

I had a large overhead door (22 tall) installed by Darren at American Door and could not be more satisfied. It was a large job and needed a crane and bucket truck. They installed it quickly and were very efficient. I will defiantly use them again.

They told me they would come to check my gate the next day I waited over a week called them multiple times and somebody told me they would look into the situation and nobody called me back and nobody ever showed up the least they could’ve done was call me back I feel disrespected as a Costomer

So a few nights ago one of our trailers hit our mechanical gate disabling it and basically shutting down our facility!American door was there within an hour and had us up and running! The next day they fabricated a new gate and was as good as new.Very professional group of guys and back office staff!Thanks American Door

One morning my garage door was having a problem opening. I called them right after that happened and later that day they sent out a truck and fixed my door. I was so happy with the results and how fast they assisted me. Great Customer service.

This company is horrible with COVID-19 my car was stuck in the garageand they said they would come out to take a look at the door but they need a credit card upfront. When they arrived, they sprayed the motor with electrical spray and the door worked never gave me an invoice and charged the card 543.13 when I called and complained they issue 108.63 credit and the rest was the charge that they said they are entitled because of COVID-19 and they have reduce workforce so pretty much they took advantage of COVID-19 and charged me for a service call no parts nothing $434.50 I cannot believe this company taking advantage of the situation no invoice nothing just charge the credit card if that is not price gauging i do not know what is. When I called and complained they just issued a credit of whatever they wanted and again made their own pricing again no invoice nothing. How do you come to this amount for spraying electrical spray on the motor on the work order there is nopricing either just wrote we have credit card # They used COVID-19 as an excuse I guess my next step is better business bureau complaint dept beware when you give your credit card to this company

I have a warehouse,and my door was hit by a truck. American Door came and replaced a galvanized slat curtain the next day.I was back in business fast. Thanks to American Door.

Their customer service and scheduling service is terrible. Unless you have an emergency, dont bother trying to get them to come for routine maintenance or any basic care. I have been trying for two months to schedule a maintenance appointment with them. I have scheduled an appointment three times already where they have taken the call, confirmed a date, and then no-showed. They take your info down as if it matters... because clearly it doesnt since they dont even bother giving you a courtesy call to let you know they are backed up (or whatever excuse they have) and cant make it. They clearly cant handle the level of business they have or theyre just gunning for the more expensive projects and neglecting anyone else. Its despicable. I was told I was being rude when I simply asked if they did this to everyone?. They tell you theyll call back and never do. They make appointments they cant keep. And all the while, your gate deteriorates until it is broken and a more expensive job. I asked them, how can I make an appointment for maintenance and guarantee someone shows? Do I need to schedule a week long window, instead of a day? They had no answers and no way of helping. They originally installed my gate, so I wanted continuity, but I guess they dont care about retention.

The motor on my yard gate blew up. I called then the next day they arrived and fixed it. I was thinking that they would come a week after I called. I was surprised when they told me they would be here tomorrow. Great & fast service.

Arranged for a service on a door beginning of the week told it will be done same day. No one shows up monday.Call tueday was told they be in today no one shows up.Call weds spoke to supervisor and assured some one will be there next day no one shows up.Call friday it was late and customer service said no one is in but the tech will be in touch and no one called or showed up.Call back Monday next week spoke to someone said this afternoon it will be done no one shoes up and call back in the afternoon spoke to a supervisor and said we dont have anyone avail told me to just call someone else .My question why wouldnt you just tell that in the beginning of last weak so I would t have waited this long for a simple call someone else.

Called with a rolling door emergency, closed the door for security and returned the next morning with repair material. Great service and great people

Do not use this company!!!Almost after 20 years experience dont recommended this company!They build the horrible gate after never come to fix and no emergency calling!!So far i Calling to them 5-6 weeks nobody show up to fix !!Run very far from this company !!

Absolutely unprofessional and dishonest.There repair caused further problems that cost more money to fix.They refused to take the responsibility and kept brushing me off and keeping me on hold.Two other experts agreed that it was their faulty repair that caused the damage.Do not use them.

Garage door they installed broke. Only 2 years old. I called them 4 times for a service call and they keep brushing me off. They told me to call somewhere else and hung up on me. Terrible service department even worse customer service
