The eye exam was comprehensive and very complete. The doctor was extremely nice and knowledgeable. However, prior to having my exam done I asked the question of could I have my prescription for my self and my child with our PD. The doctor who completed the exam said yes. The number was exactly the same for myself and my 7 year old daughter. When I asked a question the gentleman out in the eyeglasses area, started to give a lecture about the PD being different for the eyeglasses. I have been wearing glasses for over 30 years and purchasing online for over 20. I felt this was nonsense to try to get me to purchase more from the store. I cant afford to purchase more than one pair of eyeglasses with my insurance from your company. If, I made a purchase with you all give me what I ask for, Im not going to be able to buy more at those prices even if you hold my PD hostage.

Wish i could give 10 stars for Dr. Fostier and his team. Extremely superb amd professional...!!! Consulted with area doctors, including Costco. They were not as personable and efficient as Dr. Fostier. And the office is conveniently located inside Target. Thank you Doc, Jeni, and team. Highly recommended....!!!

Have been there twice in one week and have waited for at least 40 minutes each time. And I had a scheduled appointment that I was on time for. They are booking tow people at a time to see one doctor. In waiting room and watched doctor take appt scheduled after me because his wife was the appt before me.

Best ophthalmologist I have ever had. He spoke very well, took his time to make sure we had the right prescription, and even showed me imaging of my eyes and explained why I need to wear sunglasses more. Bob from the store was also very polite and helped with purchasing. I will be coming back for sure!

Excellent customer service

I have been a patient of Dr. Fostiers’ for several years now. I trust him completely and would recommend him to anybody seeking eye care services. His exams are thorough and he explains everything to the patient and will always take time to answer any questions you may have. Willing to go above and beyond for his patients.

I visited for the first time today, a Sunday. They were very busy, and I have to say, I was impressed with the immediate acknowledgement, by both Jeff and Eric, I received as I walked in. Quickly, I was being helped. I didnt need an eye exam, nor was I purchasing (however, I received the same attention as those customers that were there for those exact services). All I needed was an eyeglass case, eyeglass screws that needed to be tightened and a pair of sunglasses needed a screw to re-attach the right arm. Both Jeff and Eric were super nice, professional and, clearly, very busy taking care of all customers in an appropriate manner. I was impressed and do look forward to my next visit!

I had an interesting experience at the Target Optical, The staff were all very pleasant and helpful with picking out the glasses, and my glasses were ready a lot sooner than expected and the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately the staff had to deal with some disgruntled customers ( they did so in a polite and professional way). They were also a bit behind schedule but I did not feel that they rushed me at all and were more than happy to answer all my questions. On top of all that they have Saturday hours and are open late. Works for me!!

Excellent service, lots of frames to choose and the best, is a very friendly, helpful and professional staff, looking out for best options for the customer. Fonda was very patient, cheerful and helpful, went the extra mile to get the business, I had a quote in advanced from an other shop, but she beat it.Good price quality and service, a combination not easy to find!

Great Dr office. Dr. Matthew Foister was amazing and very patient. He makes sure to address all my questions and concerns about my eye health. Eric Spector is extremely knowledgeable in optometry and fashion. Helped me choose a great pair of glasses that I’ve had so many compliments on so far. I can always count on my Target Optical team!

Weve had some great experiences at this location. Brenda and her daughter (if you can catch them on a day that theyre in) have been terrific, professional and very helpful in offering us options that we never would have received at a storefront optometrist. They also have great taste in helping us choose the best frames for our features and needs.Wed send friends!

First - I’m only leaving one star because I have to. Let me say this rating has nothing to do with Dr. Fostier. The 3 times he saw my family members he was efficient, professional and we left comfortable with the service we all received. It’s unfortunate it’s a Target optical . Second and most importantly - the environment of the store “optical” itself is unorganized, chaotic and the staff is rude. Customer service is null and void in this arena. I called well before 3 hours to cancel my appointment and I was “huffed” at over the telephone, what an inconvenience to the staff, when asked did I want to reschedule I replied “ not with that attitude”. With so many choices what makes Target employees think they can treat customers like that ? Skip Target optical -Deerfield Hillsboro

Let me say that the doctor was great, he gets a five star rating for sure! But the rest of the staff is awful. They act is if they dont want to be there and their job is such a chore. Therefore, they are not helpful whatsoever. No one even bothered to call me when my glasses were ready. They do have a pretty good selection of frames, although if you want a decent pair, the promotions they (false) advertise, pretty much gets you nothing. I do love my new glasses, but its not likely Ill be returning for another visit.

Always a long wait even with an appointment, they never have the right trial lenses available, under staffed and the doctors don’t seem to really know what they’re doing.

I would like to share my wifes story with you my wife has got glasses they’re the last couple years each time lenses have been scratched The manager told us when you purchase the scratch protection plan that does not mean the ones will not scratch well what does that mean Lol makes no sense We were in the store November 26, 2018 he told us to come back in he would replace the lenses and she will get free frames under her insurance once we got there he said there was a miscommunication that the lenses and the frames we would have to pay for that. He said he would give us lenses for free for another pair of glasses what sense does that make, that is what he said he told us which is not true then I told him all a man has in this world is his word he says no all you have is love what does that mean My wife goes there my daughter goes there my mother goes there my mother-in-law goes there and I go there that ends of today due to incompetence.Manager needs to tell the truth I will contact corporate office I will not stop until this matter is resolved just due to the principal. I suggest no one go to that store you will be lied too!!

Incompetent young woman optometrist who does not know what she is doing. Gave me wrong prescription, after weeks of frustrating ill fitted contact lenses. Argued that I thought the script didnt make sense. Other staff ordered progressive lenses for glasses after I specifically and adamantly told them I did NOT WANT PROGRESSIVE LENSES. Lenses took three times to get ordered correctly due to optometrist errors. Complete lack of care, and total incompetence. Complete waste of my time. What the hell was I thinking going to Target for eye care. Lesson learned.

I only give it a 3 because theres only 2 people who are actually nice there. Which is the doctor and Jen. The guy there with the glasses is always rude especially to my son whos 3. First time we went he was too busy trying to figure out his iPhone to help my husband with the contacts that I had to show my husband how to put them in. We went today and the same guy nearly ran over my son while we were looking at glasses and rolled his eyes at me. No excuse me no Im sorry. Then theres the other women with the glasses who always has this pissed Im better than u face. I loke the doctor and the young lady name Jen. Hopefully with some calls I can get new people in there.

Finally got a reimbursement check from Luxxotica but they put me through hell to get it. They have permanently lost a customer!Poorly managed from the store manager to the Regional. There is no accountability it seems with Luxottica nor Target hence they have both lost a customer. I have emailed, phoned and still waiting. Theyre reasonable price is not reasonable when they cant get it right. The other employees are nice and Dr. Fosstier is wonderful but I would never do business with Target Optical nor Luxottica again and will tell everyone about this to prevent them from the frustration Ive encountered with this awful store/company.

I have been going to Target Optical in West Deerfield Beach for years! Dr. Fostier, Vonda, Drew and Eric are all great! Over the past year we found out that my young son desperately needed glasses. We never knew that he had an issue with his vision as he never said anything. Dr. Fostier was very kind and patient with my sons multiple questions and Eric was extremely patient when it came to selecting the right pair of glasses for him. Thanks a million!

They lost my order that took 2weeks to begin with and now they say it will take another 3-5 business days. Very disappointed!!!!!
