First time visitor this weekend. A little more expensive than expected, but still good. My husband got egg salad sandwich and it was huge (and very good)! I got the spinach pie appetizer and a side of hash browns. My food was a little too salty for me, and it was freezing in there, but otherwise great service and would definitely go back to try other things on the menu. (Would give this 4.5 stars if i could).
I have been wanting to go to this diner; I finally made it! The waitress pleasant and attentive; my breajfast arrived at my table in a timely matter. I ordered Eggs Benedict with grits; it was good with a nice slice of Canadian bacon except the eggs yolks were a sort of pale yellow and watery I like my yokes to have that rich amber color. Yeup! The expensive eggs. The ambience of the diner was inviting and warmr. Next time when I visit, I am going to try that Belgian waffle.
Perfect place for a sit down breakfast. Found this while staying on vacation and it was awesome. Alex was super nice and on top of everything. I thought it’d be busy on a Saturday morning but really wasn’t. Food was ready quick and was great. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice spot to eat.
First dining experience at Olympia Flame Diner for breakfast (Saturday morning at 10:30 am). The diner was very busy, which is always a good sign for a restaurant. We were greeted promptly despite the crowd and got a table within a few minutes of waiting. After being sat we were instantly greeted by our waitress who conveniently had a hot pot of coffee in her hand ready to pour me a cup. That was nice! The three of us were ready for some breakfast. I ordered their Alexander the Great omelette which was delicious. I had a bagel with cream cheese as well. Our friends had the steak and eggs and another omelette. Every one of our meals was really good. Cheesy omelettes with great fillings. Not dry at all. Overall great breakfast place, nice staff, charming diner interior. Thank you so much! When Im down here visiting family.... The Olympia is always on the breakfast menu. Ample portions, good food, friendly staff. Give them a shot. You wont be sorry.

My office and I ate here before the pandemic and continue to eat here after the pandemic. Family owned and operated, this Greek diner is delicious and clean. Partitions separate each table and counter service has been eliminated for now. I love their omelets even for lunch or a grilled cheese- dont forget their delicious fries! Feeling in the mood for Greek? Dont miss out on spinach pie with a side Greek salad. Service is usually good and Heather usually waits on us. Shes friendly and funny!

I had the open face turkey sandwich which was really good. Our party that day also ordered the fish sandwich and French toast. All were excellent. Prices are reasonable and service to boot. I dont live near the Olympia Flame so this is the only time Ive been but would definitely come back if in the area looking for breakfast or a quick lunch.
The food was fresh, tasty, and made perfectly. The service from Alex and George was efficient, friendly, and personalized.
Cracker Barrel has a 50 minute wait so we drove to the Olympic Flame Diner. Seated right away. The server was friendly. Food arrived quickly, and was cooked properly. We ate every bite. The only thing that needed improvement was the sausage gravy.

I only get to frequent Olympia so often as I am not in the area much. But when I do get there, everything always stands out and I leave happy.Holdings it’s ground for 28years now & Olympia still serving up the classic American Greek & Italian specialties.Family owned, running that American dream and it doesn’t disappoint.Sure some days you may come in and catch a staff member on a bad day but this is the standard classic diner life here. Great food, can be pricey for some but they’re in a primetime area so needs must be met I’m sure.Growing up in MI we have diner like this everywhere and I don’t see that down here, let alone a place that even has SAGANAKI!! My favorite app to get; usually flamed up table-side and you yell opa as it hAppens; this unfortunately doesn’t get down that way here. Regardless it still comes out the same and its crack. Wasn’t two hungry after two orders if saganaki and so I split a gyro with my friend. Everyone loved what they had and I know any of us are looking forward to going back.It was post lunch rush and it was super chill inside and so service was solid, quiet and as always enjoyable. Have enjoyed eating here for decades but hadnt been in a while until we stopped in on New Years day for brunch/lunch. Hubby had breakfast, I had an open faced roast beef and our son had a Reuben - all great as usual and they were doing a great job with Covid precautions too (individual condiments, social distancing, sanitation, etc.). However the highlight of our visit was our server Jessie - she was fantastic! We are all or have been in the biz and while we were there a family was seated by us who also happened to be in the biz. When people who do this for a living frequent a restaurant you know you can trust it and its going to be good!
Our meal was very average. I had the open faced hot turkey sandwich. The turkey was deli sandwich slices with instant mashed potatoes. My dining companion had the Monte Cristo sandwich which was decent, but was lacking a much needed dipping sauce. The fresh brewed iced tea was excellent.Service was quick and efficient, although slightly mechanical.I wouldnt not come back here again, but I certainly wouldnt go out of my way to come here, either.

Havent had anything I didnt like. 2-2-2 is great, 2 eggs, 2 pancakes and bacon or sausage. Service is excellent. Everyone is friendly. Owners are very nice. Great location, right on Federal Hwy. Stop by and enjoy.
I had breakfast it was very good! Service was good and fast, nice little diner, convenient area, sorry no pictures of the food this time, but trust me my 4 years old granddaughter enjoy her pancakes and you will too! Ha!

3.71 out of 5. It literally had everything on the menu one would expect from a Greek Diner. Staff was very sweet and attentive. I had a Greek salad with Chicken in their dining room ( tables were spread out and booths had Plexiglass dividers) it was good. Will definitely go back to try the spanakopita, when I am in the area again.

(Tomato cheese and Canadian bacon inside, topped with surprisingly good hollandaise sauce)Why the 3? 15 for an omelet... i think is a lot.And...The homefries were such a disappointment. Cut too big and zero flavor. Zero. They didnt taste like anything.No one gets a 5. So a 3 is fair
The food was great but the lady answering the phone was as rude as could be.
Get the big Greek salad in addition to anything on the menu, including dessert and a respectable cup of coffee.

This place was so gross, the liver they served me was either old or spoiled, it tasted awful. The fries were awful, and the salad had so much oil i could have taken a bath in it, would not recommend.

I ask for a Hungarian goulash which is name like that in the menu. they brought some grey looking beef with gravy, nothing like announced. So I have to return that BS. So Im trying to figure what else.. and order 12.83 US half Greek salad ... what a joke, No tomatoes and couple of olives... in overall I would rate my experience as -5. I wouldnt come back again.
I have passed this restaurant many times over the last several years and have never gone in. On Sunday we met our family for breakfast and because of Covid I try to research restaurants before I go so that I have a comfort level when eating out. I was impressed with Olympia Flame’s social distancing, plexiglass shields between booths and masks on all the servers.The owner was constantly counting how many people were in the restaurant to make certain the capacity did not exceed 50%. She made people wait outside until a party left so we would have a safe dining experience. Did I mention the food was great! Because it is. Don’t hesitate to try them out I’m glad we did. We’ll be back.

Went sunday morning about 10:45 am. Were seated immediately. After seating, the wait line was increasing. 15 minute wait when we left. Party of three had short order French toast, 2 eggs over easy with potatoes and toast, 2 poached eggs with potatoes and toast and three coffees. Food was good. The over easy. eggs had some brown on the yoke due to burnt butter, but otherwise good. Service was good. Total cost was $27 sans tip.

I have always had a good experience here. The staff is always personable and very accommodating. It reminds me of the Diners of the Northeast, warm, chatty and great Diner ClassicFood. This is my moms favorite diner! Its small but it packs a punch - theres usually a wait because of how popular it is. The service is great (family owned/operated) and really fast. The French toast is to die for and its also my husbands favorite. Dont even think of going there on a holiday. If youre looking for breakfast with a diner experience, go to Off the Clock just up the street.

Service is out of the charts, food is 4 stars, not 5. They get 4 stars from me because they are quick, corteous, an d food always arrives hot. You must try the baklava. This place convinced me that an Omelette should have feta cheese and mushrooms. With us locals, it is a landmark we cherish. Step in and feel the locals in Deerfield Beach Florida. We are very hospitable, and this is easily one of our most recognizable locals only place.

Really Awesome breakfast place. The menu is extensive enough to make any omelette your brain can dream up and there are also many other options. If you aren’t from around here I would really recommend this place because the food is amazing, the service is great, and it’s in a great location. This is a great place to stop and eat breakfast or lunch on your way to Deerfield Beach! I had the Belgian waffle with bacon and it was amazing! Nice and fluffy and the bacon was perfect. It also came with an egg. Overall this is a perfect place to stop and have breakfast, whether your a local or a tourist, you’ll be sure to love the Olympia Flame Diner. Oh and even the coffee and orange juice is good. Fresh! Yum!
If you want to know who makes your food this is the right place! Multi-generational. Tom and his lovely wife taught my kids how to behave in a restaurant. Three are now 27, so, Ive had a long history and a lot of experience with the restaurant, servers, cooks and most of all kind hearted owners, (their own kids carry on). THE BEST

Went in today, it’s been over 12 years since I was here as I moved out of state. This place is as clean, if not cleaner, then it’s ever been! The staff is nothing but laughs and smiles. Food, just as I remember it... awesome! Prices are slightly higher than I would have expected but not a deterrent for me.

Best diner in FL. The closest replica of a NYC diner. All the great dinner food. Breakfasts eggs pancakes and all the usual suspects. great coffee too. Lunch burgers, club sandwiches and salads. I have never been the for dinner though. If you ate a diner fan this is the place for you. Free parking also.
Any meal at this diner is an absolute joy. The staff is always friendly and the waitresses are pleasant and cheerful. The meal preparation time is not too long, and it has a very family friendly atmosphere. There is ample parking and its in a good location to grab a bite if you are just out shopping or headed towards the beach. The pricing is what you would expect - it will cost about 20$ for a couple to have a meal, and those will be generous portions. The place is clean from top to bottom and if they are open - the chances that one of the owners is there is 99%. Id not only suggest this place to anyone, Ive brought my family here myself.

Not the same place when parents ran the diner. Used to have the best pancakes, now they dont. Other items are okay but for the price I would go to a better restaurant.
Well, not much I can say other than expect diner food. Decent turkey club sandwich, very good fries came with it. Friend had some kind of gumbo-type soup which he said was too spicy but what did he expect, its gumbo. He was not pleased with the grilled cheese sandwich which he said lacked taste. So this review is a combination of our food choices. I will be back.

Everything you would expect from a good diner. Friendly waitresses, clean surroundings. If you like the diner atmosphere, you will enjoy this place as I did. However trying to eat healthier there is not much to choose from in the breakfast menu. Would have loved to see something light or low carb, but really thats not their fault its mine because I chose the diner. I was looking at that other plates they looked good big portions of fried potatoes and nicely cooked eggs, the plates looked great. I will be going back.

Being a driver I go to many places for breakfast. I have found this place is the finest breakfast in all of South Florida,From my experience the owner makes sure of it. I would recommend it to anyone. was just there this morning.
