I was referred to Bill and Jim of by the Weber Grill team and boy am I grateful. They were a dream to work with. Responsive, attentive, and all around pleasant folks with your best interest at heart. I am so happy to find people I can trust and will continue to support them from now on.

Had great experience today at Ace Hardware of Deerfield Beach. After an afternoon of searching target, Walmart, home-depot, Lowe’s and target for a certain grill rack, I became frustrated when I did not find what I was looking for at Ace Hardware also. An Ace employee named Frank approached me and asked if he could be of assistance. After checking that the item was not available he said,wait, I’ll check in the back. A few minutes later he provided me with the grill item that was discontinued with a few extra ones he had in the back. I was very pleased with Frank and his very helpful and courteous service. Reminded me of back in the day of the outstanding helpful service Ace Hardware was known for growing up in Michigan. I would like to commend “Frank” for his excellent service!

My first time shopping at this store was so great, I just had to make a review! Dan the manager was a huge help with the home project I was doing. He took his time and was very knowledgeable. If only every store had their very own “Dan”! I will definitely be coming back and shopping here exclusively. Thank you Dan!

Forget the two other major hardware retails, this is the ONLY place to go. I needed help finding a very minor (but important item for me), a specific size screw. I tried at one of the unnamed chains with no help. The staff at this ACE Hardware were beyond excellent. The sales person took his time to find the exact item I needed even though it was only a very minor sale. All of the staff were friendly and asked if they could help me with anything else. Although this store is a few miles more of a drive, it is clearly worth the trip to now that I will be having excellent service from very professional employees.

This is a great hardware store! Great selection of just about everything you need with a staff that is always willing to help. An extra bonus is they have a great grill and smoker selection.

I went to the store yesterday looking for a green egg even though I have no experience in grilling so I wasn’t sure but Dan and Frank were a great help from the beginning to the end, answered all my questions and more, made it an easy smooth experience and helped me with my “starting kit” accessories, they gave me great advice and did not push for me to buy things I really don’t need yet. The staff is friendly and my big egg was delivered today, that was fast and can’t wait to use it!!! It’s nice to get some quality guidance/help when we actually need it for a change! I will go back to Deerfield Ace Hardware for sure!

I recently purchased a Big Green Egg from Deerfield Ace Hardware as a Birthday gift for my boyfriend. I knew nothing about this grill except that it is a great grill with very many capabilities!!!I was expertly guided through the learning experience by the manager, Bill, who spent a great deal of time with me making sure that I knew what I needed to know about purchasing the Big Green Egg and to assure that I would be happy with it. I wanted to make sure that I was getting the right size and accessories, which Bill, a great help I might add, made this experience a great one!!!! It was delivered to my house with the big red bow I brought in for the surprise!!Frank, the GM, was also very helpful and double-checked that everything was as it should be. The Big Green Egg was a huge hit!!!!!!!What a great team at Deerfield Ace Hardware!!!!! I will be recommending them to all my friends!!!

So I went to this ace hardware initially because I know Ace has the best selection in specialty keys. I went ahead and had two keys made for my house, nothing fancy but I wanted a dolphins and heat themed key. When I got home one of the keys didnt work, not that it was keyed incorrectly but that It was the wrong key entirely (didnt enter the lock) I was a little salty because the gentleman that helped me told me all the keys in that face of the display will work. Needless to say my dad threw the key away a week later by accident. When I went to the store to have the key remade I mentioned my story and how my dad lost the key so I couldnt return it, and they offered to rekey it for me at no additional cost! I know its nothing crazy but the gesture absolutely made my day! I wish I wouldve gotten the gentle-mans name so I could give him a shout out, but hopefully he sees this! Went here earlier today and was instantly met by Barbara who was eager to help, she asked what I was looking for and directed me down to aisle 21 and notified Jimmy whom I guess worked the section, he was knowledgeable and professional and got me the part I needed. I made my way upfront to the register and was cashed out by Barbara who has a great personality and very bubbly. It was a nice experience for a first time customer.

I purchased a new grill and didnt know to much about the different types available. I was given a thorough education about grills by 2 knowledgeable people there. Bill and Frank were so helpful to me. They were very patient and not pushy. Customer service is excellent. I will definitely return to this store.

The team is extremely helpful and always around to find what you need. We recently purchased a Big Green Egg and the team spent time to ensure we were happy with our purchase, it was a surprise for my husband and they pulled it off perfectly. The following week we came back to talk recipes, grill times purchase some more goodies and we smoked the BEST pork shoulder weve ever had! Weve also grilled steaks and a slow cooked batch of Carnitas such a great purchase. The poor Brazilian grill, Weber charcoal and gas grills are now sitting and havent been used since. You could say we were searching for the right grill and the Big Green Egg is it! What a great group of people.

My 16 year old Weber finally bit the dust, I went to different retail stores which sold Weber Grills. I was pretty sure I was buying another Weber. Ace Hardware had a large selection of grills which included several different manufactures.As I looked at all the grills they had, Bill came up and asked if I needed any help he could answer any of my questions. I commented on one of the higher end grills on display, I noted how nice it was, but it was way out of my price range. Bill guided me down the line to a more affordable model from Napoleon ( I never heard of it). He spent a substantial amount of time with me answering all of my questions.Having my Weber for many years I had to use the product warranty several times; all the replacement parts I replaced, I had to do it myself. Bill stated that any grill I purchased from Ace Hardware that they would come to my house and make any warranty repairs included in the price of the grill. Who wants to make warranty repairs? Not me. Bill pointed out the highlights of the Napoleon warranty, which was better than Webers. I told him Id give it some thought and if I was to purchase a grill I would do it through them.I went home and did my research, I found the Napoleon Brand got very high reviews. I decided to buy the Napoleon over the Weber.I went back a few days later and purchased the Napoleon. They arranged a delivery date and called me as promised. Frank and his associate delivered the Napoleon Grill, connected my LP tank and gave me a thorough run down of the operation of my new grill. When they left I felt like I had a complete understanding how the grill worked.I know its a grill, turn on the burner and cook away. The Napoleon had a sear station, a rotisserie unit and lighted knobs. Their explanation made my first cooking experience very simple. At no time through my buying experience did I ever feel rushed. These guys know their products well.After I purchase the grill and walked around the Ace Hardware. They had everything you would need for a home improvement project. Their store was very impressive. They had a small engine repair section and also did rescreening. I will shop here again. Thank you and all your team members for a pleasant buying experience.

May 2021, this store has lots of products with fair prices. The store has plenty of staff who are willing to go out of their way to hep you. Honestly, I rather shop at this store than go to a big box store because the customer service is so great.

My Traeger grill wasnt working properly so I called Traeger they contacted Ace Hardware in Deerfield Beach who in turn contacted me to pick up the grill which day did the next day they fixed the problem the same day called me back and told me they would be returning my grill the next day I am very pleased with Ace Hardware and would recommend them to anyone

My husband and I went to this location to purchase our Big Green Egg. It was our first time coming here, and it wont be our last! This store has a selection of items for home improvement, but the best part is the customer service. Frank helped us choose our Big Green Egg and EGGcessories, and his team helped us load our items into our car. From start to finish customer service was wonderful, and were very happy we came across this store!Also another plus is they carry Dots Pretzels--absolutely delicious if you havent tried them yet!

I came into Ace Hardware with a Campfire 7 foot floor lamp with a wire that I could not pull out of the tube to test the connectivity.Rick helped me pull it out, when we tested it and the clicker to turn the light had burned out, they replaced it with their service team in one day!Really appreciate the effort at Ace Hardware and spend more time there with any and all house repairs.Thank you Rick and team!

I had an exceptional experience when shopping for grills at this Ace store. In fact, I had my mind set on a Weber 435 and one of the associates showed me some lateral price point options. It was a great opportunity to look at a bigger picture since they have so many grills in stock. After doing some research and finally doing some tang able tests, I found the Napoleon Prestige 500. Wow, what a find. It comes with a lifetime guarantee, and stands in the shadow of weber, but really packs a punch when compared pound to pound in comparison. I thank Ace for not only opening up some new options not found at the big box stores, but for their honest approach and taking some serious time in working with me. They also delivered my grill on the same day I purchased it. My wife got me a great Father’s Day gift and without any stress. Kudos to Ace Team and Ownership for outstanding customer service, assembly and free prompt delivery. Keep up the good work.

I was having an issue with my Traeger grill and I was told by Traeger to contact Ace hardware in Deerfield,. So I did and received the best most comprehensive service I have ever received in any category. Bill was so knowledgeable as well as informative about the Traeger product I felt very comfortable. I will be dealing with Bill and his team at Deerfield Ace hardware exclusively even though I will pass three other Ace Hardware‘s on the way. These days it’s hard to even find bad service no less A+ service. So I commend and recommend Ace Hardware in Deerfield Beach to anyone needing anything to do with grilling smoking or BBQ-ing needs and say hello to Bill my new best friend.

Make this your first stop for any home improvement project. Even if you think they won’t have what you need because it is a bit of a smaller store, they have just about everything. Every time I walk in, there is a line of smiling employees wanting to help. I drive an extra 5-10 minutes passed Home Depot because it will still be faster to go to Ace. I could spend an hour walking around Home Depot trying to catch an employee to help me, or I can go to Ace and get what I need and be in and out in 5 minutes. This store is a true pleasure to shop at. It’s incredible what supplies they have in that little store.

Probably THE BEST run hardware store by far. Westopped by to have keys made and noticed bbq grills outside. We were in the market for a new grill so we started asking questions. The employees were so helpful answering questions and giving recommendations. I came away with brochures and lots to think about. Everyone in the store anxious to help and I can say I have never experienced this much assistance at a store. We will definitely be back. Unfortunately, we are not in SoFlo but for a few weeks a year. Ill go back to Connecticut with lots of knowledge and Ill definitely be buying a new grill at ACE. Ill be back for other items at this Deerfield Ace when Im in town. Keep up the fantastic service.

First off, if I could give more than 5 stars, I would.I had a challenging situation, with the Big Green Egg. I brought it in to be assembled at ACE. I was greeted by Frank, who was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly from the start. He guided me through different choices related to BGE nests, was very clear on total costs and comparisons. I came in on a busy Sat afternoon, and was told that the BGE would be assembled and delivered on Tuesday, as there were many deliveries scheduled for the Boca Raton area on Tuesday. I was fine with that, as I was excited to get my BGE back up and running, along with the new nest/table I had selected. To my surprise, I received a call a couple hours later stating the BGE was ready, and if I was home, it could be delivered. 20 minutes later, the BGE showed up at the house, was transported in to the backyard and Frank even took some of my old BGE debris (my first one shattered a month ago) away in his truck . Because of the amazing service and friendliness provided by Frank, my wife and I will ONLY be going to DEERFIELD ACE for any/all of our hardware, BBQ, emergency needs, etc. Thanks to Frank and the rest of the courteous DEERFIELD ACE staff. We had the grill delivered the next day. The 2 gentlemen that had masks on and social distance from me... was so professional and I tried to tip them and they wouldnt take it.. I never remember to bring them but it keeps Ace in my mind. I used to use the big box competitors all of the time for 20 years. As I think about it - I cant remember the last time that I went to one of those.

We have shopped at Ace Hardware stores for many years and have never been disappointed. Today we drove to the Deerfield store since it was open on Sunday. This store goes way above and beyond even the highest standards that typically is experienced in any store. First, the store is jam packed full - making it somewhat like a kid exploring a candy store. But with all the various options of products, things are organized and there are employees around every turn who greet you, assist you, and offer friendly advice. They are all extremely knowledgeable about their products. The cashiers move things along quickly as there were many people in the store on this particular Sunday. All employees had on their masks, were using the provided hand sanitizer, and had appropriate measures in place for the customers to have a safe experience. Ace is definitely the place - particularly the one in Deerfield Beach. The manager and team deserve kudos for a job well done. There is a marked difference between the shopping experience at Ace as compared to the BIGGER but certainly not better chain stores. Thank you.

Great neighborhood family shop for maintaining the home.Prices are a little bit higher but the small town, family friendly feel and location save time compared to Lowes and Home Depot.

To be totally honest, I hardly ever shop here because not only do I live slightly closer to both of the other two major players of the hardwa industry (Home Depot & Lowes), but rather moreso it is due to the fact that nearly every time Ive ever needed something that the three of them would likely carry, Ive nearly always found that the other two also; carry (& have in stock) a much greater selection of products & items which are not only priced significantly lower (in most cases), but also, as another option, they both offer a much easier ordering & overall internet experience.Now, I didnt write this review to trash this Ace Hardware store location (which as you can see I still gave it four stars), but in actuality Im writing this (specifically) to aid others & while Home Depot & Lowes certainly have some big upsides & advantages, that certainly doesnt mean that this Ace Hardware is going to go down without a fight. For example, first & foremost, if you actually ever need personal tips, advice or instruction on or with any home repair or renovation job that you may be undertaking yourself, then I would much more recommend these guys. Now, Im not saying that the employees of the other two places dont know what theyre doing, but even when/if you can find someone who has the know-how to explain a job or a process, the truth of the matter is most of the time they are running around those other stores and way too busy. Ace Hardware, specifically in this location, not only always loads up their store u with employees, but much moreso employees with know-how that also care about customers & are glad to help. Personally, I dont think Ive ever seen less than 8 to 10 employees in that store, and its not that big. From the moment you walk in, every single employee you happen to pass or just even walk near will most likely ask if they can help you in any way. Furthermore, I specifically do use this place for special services, like getting keys made. Again, it is the personal service as well as the quality of care & workmanship that leads me here over the other two. Last but not least, I also like that when you accept that service or help, that it feels like you are getting genuinely honest & truly top-notch recommendations.Finally, one last thing I will mention, is that when the hurricanes hit (&/or the Covid crisis started or was in full force) this was one of the places that was making sure ALL their customers had enough supplies & were safe. Furthermore, they gladly handed out essentials to each person so they could get by, while yet (also) making sure that there would still be enough for the next person that needing something to have some. At several different parts throughout Covid, this is where I came to get my masks, paper towels, toilet paper, hand sanitizer & so on and I never left empty handed. Overall, I think what it comes down to is this place exemplifies one of the biggest differences between your local Mom & Pop & a big box store, and yet I also think that this is also why there will always be a Main Street in every city in America.

These guys are unbelievable! I purchased my Traeger Grill from an outdoor kitchen company in Delray Beach. I was having serious issues with the grill and no one from the kitchen company would help me fix the issues. I called Traeger several times and they would send me parts but that wasnt the fix. I happened to call Ace and spoke with Bill Moors. He could have told me to call the company where I purchased it, like everyone else said, but he told me he will take care of me. He made several calls to Traeger and within a week I had a brand-new grill. I really cannot thank Bill and the entire staff enough. Thank You Everyone at Ace Deerfield. You Rock!

Rude and incompetent manager!Went there today for, oil, a new trimmer and saw chains for my chainsaw. As per Stihl, the MS170 is designed for 12 to 16 inch guide bars. I have a 12 inch bar yet forgot the precise chain specs.He first tried to help yet I then asked him for a 14 inch bar and chain combination as we couldn’t figure out my 12 inch chain. He replied ignorantly that only 16 inch bars were for the MS170 and if I had been listening...I simply left the store.I will forward my experience to Stihl and AceHardware headquarters as well.After this personal negative experience and reading about similar ones, I am sorry for the employees who seemed good people but I recommend taking your business elsewhere until management changes.As to the manager, save us and other readers from writing a fake or made-up answer like you did on other reviews.

I called at 5:45 while driving, knowing they closed at 6:30 looking for a specific grill. Deerfield Ace had it, they were the only one. Lowe’s and Home Depot wouldn’t even order it; I learned a lesson there. Not only did Deerfield Ace stay open for me, they helped me load the grill and gave me helpful tips. Went to purchase a BBQ after being reccommended to this Ace location. The owner was a real expert, understood our needs and suggested the perfect BBQ. We have had it for a month and it is awesome! Best part, he personally delivered within 1 hour of purchase because we needed it that night. No reason to go anywhere else!!!!!

The guys that work in the back at the Stihl chainsaw shop are absolutely the best! They are truly experts and know right away what the problem is with a saw ! Recently brought in a bound up chainsaw and they fixed it within ten minutes ! This Ace is far and above the best store in the area and everyone is always helpful unlike the one on sample rd where it takes an act of god to get someone to help you !

Had great experience with Ace Hardware (Deerfield beach) today. Needed a new key for my 2002 SC430. Greg was able to fix my existing key at no charge vs. buying a new key at$200+. Honest and helpful service by a personable and knowledgeable professional.
