I have been using Upper Crust Bagels since they came to Deerfield. I had an occasion to order a fish tray yesterday that I get at least once a year from them. My guests were in love with the sable, barbecued salmon, and nova lox! Every piece was moist and delicious! Thank you Upper Crust for your outstanding products!

We ordered a pre-made sandwich tray and a dessert tray and everything was delicious! Great quality and generous portions. We had it delivered and it came exactly on time. I highly recommend!

I grew up in Deerfield, then moved to Seattle, and then to Taiwan, and now Im back. Ive been to the other side of the country, the other side of the world, and Ive yet to find better bagels, hand cut lox, and breakfast sandwiches. (Also, those double chocolate muffins 🤤)

Very good but way overpriced, probably only good for special occasions.

I came in and it was only one customer inside. They took about two minutes to acknowledge me. I ordered a lox bagel with plain cream cheese. The lox was salty, too much cream cheese and too many red onions. With a soda and chips, the bill was $14.38.I dont recommend this place for lox bagels. Go to New York bagel and bialy in Lincolnwood, is the best.

Great little breakfast place besides being a bagel and bialys shop. Lots of different meats that can be added to a bagel sandwich. Los, salami, Turkey, ham, and the list goes on. Egg salad, tuna salad, SALMON salad. Yummmmm. I really dont know why I didnt try this place sooner.

A little on the pricier side, but as far as this obnoxious New Yorker is concerned, the closest thing to a real bagel in Illinois. Delicious lox too. Never regret coming here. Good bialy too. I always also get a pack of their bagel chips.

Told them decaf coffee. Watch them run out of decaf and fill it up the rest of the way with caffeinated coffee. Asked the woman about it and listened to her tell me over and over it was decaf. Decided to believe her, and drank it. Absolutely caffeinated! Food is great, but not going back.

One of the best places in the world. The smoked fish quality and selection is consistently and undisputedly A100 top notch. Really fantastic family owned business. Ronnie and John are the best in the business.

The best New York style deli around. Bagels are excellent and not the cakey kind that you find at other local delis. Lox is fantastic too. I drive almost an hour (one way) a few times a year just to get the good stuff.

Great bagels unfortunately the staff is very rude and doesn’t listen. Placed an order for some bagels and 2 breakfast sandwiches. When I got to the register the price was way to high for what I had ordered. The employee took the bag back and pull everything out into the counter and then proceeded to argue with me on what I had ordered and what she put into the bag. I will not be going to this place ever again.

Great place! The Bagels, Salmon spread, tuna salad and egg white salad are just a few of my favorites here. Everything is amazing and fresh. Staff is friendly and service is fast! Sandwiches are made to order with all the right toppings. Would highly recommend them and they cater too!

Food tasted ok but service was lacking. I ordered two bagel sandwiches on two different bagels. Once I got home, I opened them up and found they reversed the bagels for each sandwich so neither was on the correct bagel. Went back to the store to have them redone and they blamed me for ordering it wrong - which I did not. Im sure I ordered them correctly. Other customers heard them blaming me and were discouraged with that kind of customer service. They remade the sandwiches in a huff but didnt offer anything else for my time. Will probably give them another chance but there are other good options for bagels in this area.

Waited 10 minutes for a coffee after paying for it. I asked status of my coffee, one of the employee was questioning me and asked other employees if I paid for the coffee.

They have got a great selection of bagels here. Always enjoy coming to this place! :D

Awesome hidden village gem! I make UC a regular stop several times a week. Sometimes for a pefect bagel breakfast sandwich or lox samadhi he... always prepared perfectly!
