We were able to make a prompt appointment. Sheri was extremely patient and attentive to my elderly mother. She was able to resolve a hearing aid issue from a different practice. She even called the next day to check on her. We are very impressed with this practice.

Dr. Mark Christian and Deerfield Audiology are an example of a top-notch audiology practice. A high level of professionalism and customer service above and beyond set them apart from other offices. Great reviews online brought us in when my mom needed a new hearing test. Audiologists were warm and funny. Appreciate they meet their older patients at their cars to bring them in. Very wonderful office! Ive had a chance to meet most of the doctors and they are very nice and totally understanding. You can really tell this practice has the best interest for their clients. The office is very cozy, the staff is super attentive, and the thing I like the most is that there is never a million people in the office because visits are scheduled so that you have enough one on one with the doctor without the rush. Ive grown up playing drums my whole life and recently came across the deep desire to protect my ears after some signs of poor hearing. I went to see Audiology Associates and could not have been happier with my experience and the outcome. Their office was very clean, had a friendly greeting and instantly felt comfortable. They took incredible care of me and helped me find the right tool for me to use in protecting my ears by customizing ear plugs to an exact mold of my ear. Not only do I like using them to protect my ears, they also give my drums a better tone when gigging or practicing and I prefer using anyway just for how comfortable they are. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Mark Christian. He completed a thorough assessment and explanation of my hearing loss and outfitted me with hearing aids that I loved from the first moment I tried them on in his office. That is a rare experience for people who need hearing aids. He even gave me demo aids to wear that were the same top of the line aids I ordered. I left his office being able to hear easily and without needing to adjust anything. Did I say that I love my new hearing aids? I am a first time wearer and I love them because they are effortless and restored my hearing.

Dr. Meyer is excellent. She comes directly to the Memory Care facility where our Mother lives and provides care for her on site. She is gentle, patient and sensitive with our Mother in addition to professional with us and all of the people on Moms care team. She communicates clearly and regularly with all of us. The hearing aids Mom is wearing were carefully selected to be the correct aid for her needs and fit to her ear, and have really helped her cognition and ability to communicate with her friends, family and caregivers. This morning I had an appointment with Dr Liz Meyer, and I had a great experience. She was professional, personable, and informative. The reason for my visit was to get a mold (impression) of my ears done for custom in ear monitors, and I couldnt be more happy with how easy everything was, and how great they turned out. Dr. Sheri Gostomelsky’s assistance and advice has helped me select my second pair of hearing aids that provide me with improved hearing in many different settings. She has had the patience to help me try 3 different hearing aids before selecting a pair that are so much better then my old ones. I have returned to her office many times to make small adjustments to the programs to customize the aids. She was always willing to help make changes to improve the quality of my hearing. I never felt it was an imposition or bother for her and no extra charge to me.I have a Blue Tooth Streamer that allows me to adjust the volume, change programs and answer phone calls hearing the caller in both ears from my cell phone. In addition to the basic setting I have a program to hear clearer in noisy restaurants with a lot of background noise. Another program will allow me to stream music and listen to audio books into my hearing aids while filtering out other noise. I am now trying another program to reduce the noise of wind when riding in a car with the top down or windows open.I have had my new aids now for over 4 months and couldn’t be happier. They include 3 years of service and free batteries.I have visited 6-7 other audiologists over the years and Dr. Sheri is by far the most knowledgeable and has suggested ways of improving my hearing that others have not thought of.I highly recommend a visit to her office if you have a need to improve your hearing.

Dr. Mark Christian will always be our go to doctor for hearing issues. We took my grandma to Dr. Mark in her mid 80s when she was really struggling with hearing loss and having a hard time staying connected to friends and family, especially in social settings. She became increasingly frustrated and withdrawn. Dr. Mark took the time to explain what her hearing loss meant, how it affected her and then helped find a solution that fit her needs and lifestyle. The results were amazing. She was able was able to re-engage in social settings and hear voices that were previously problematic. Excellent and patient centered service and care. Dr Gostomelsky is an exceptional and extremely talented audiologist who has superb bedside manner. Office is very accommodating. It is a pleasure to work with her.

Dr. Sheri is the best audiologist I have every had. She goes through every possibility to work out the best hearing aid and the best adjustment possible. This means reprogramming the hearing aid, testing out how it is functioning in my ear and on its own, and dealing with complicated computer programs and equipment. She takes my feedback seriously, and always has another adjustment to try if I am not satisfied. I have worked with a number of other audiologists who did not seem to have the equipment or the options to make a hearing aid really suit a persons needs. She is patient, cheerful, detail oriented, and responsive. At times we have tried out every appropriate hearing aid over a matter of months to determine what will work for me. She lends me hearing aids when mine are in for repair, so I never go without. She must send the hearing aids out quickly for repair, because they tend to come back very quickly. I am recommending her to my family members and friends who are first timers, to possibly save them from frustrating experiences with less talented or equipped audiologists. Dr. Gostomelsky is wonderful! I recently took my 89 yr. old mother to see her and we were both thrilled to have found her. She is incredibly thorough and kind, not to mention a truly skilled clinician. She was so patient with my mom (and this is the third audiologist shes seen - didnt care much for the first one and the one we saw prior to Dr. Sheri moved out of state) - and was only concerned with her needs and wishes regarding her hearing and hearing aids. She did not try to push any products and spent a good deal of time making sure she had fully assessed my moms needs, not to mention making sure that her new hearing aids will fit correctly (and my mom has exceptionally tiny ear canals, so this is no small feat).I cant recommend Dr. Gostomelsky highly enough! If you are looking for a new audiologist, end your search and call Audiology Associates. I can confidently guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Christian always helps me quickly when something goes wrong with my hearing aids. The service is excellent and the staff is kind.

Even though Dr. Gostomelskys clinical knowledge is outstanding, she still is able to show exceptional sensitivity to her patients concerns should their hearing show signs of diminishing. She explains, in laymans terms, the need to maintain their hearing and how it effects their communication with people in their daily lives. Although these skills are difficult to measure, I rate her at the top of any scale devised.

She is knowledgeable, patient, and determined to find a solution for her clients hearing issues Hearing aids are incredibly expensive, and if you are making that investment you want to get it right.I am now on my 5th pair of hearing aids, and originally went to Northwestern University, thinking that I couldnt go wrong. Im not critical of NWU, but it is a teaching clinic, and everyone there is an employee. In my case, over a period of 3-4 years I found myself dealing with several different staff members, and as a result never really building a connection - I find myself preferring people who are running their own businesses and understand the importance of customer service. My hearing loss is significant and due to that fact I have needs that others might not appreciate - Im exceptionally happy that I learned of Audiology Associates!

Im now 72 and a full professor at Loyola University. Ten years ago, when I was teaching in Cleveland, I got hearing aids (Oticon Vigo Pro RITEs), which helped me considerably, especially in the classroom. After I moved to Chicago, some Web research suggested that the hearing-aid technology had improved considerably, and so I decided to upgrade. None of my friends strongly recommended their audiologist, so I again did some Web research. Audiology Associates of Deerfield stood out for their strong recommendations, so I decided on them -- even though theyre about 20 miles away. They assigned me Dr. Mark Christian, who has been really excellent. I was looking for an audiologist who (1) is up to date on the latest technology (which changes quickly), (2) will spend time getting the adjustments right, and (3) has golden-rule empathy (treating patients as youd want yourself or a loved one to be treated). He excels in all three ways. (1) Hes very up to date, and the technology is very impressive; my AGXO mini-RTE is amazing (its made by Oticon -- AGXO customizes units from various manufacturers). Audiology Associates of Deerfield is a fancastic and professional business. I first came here because my audiologists business has closed and also because I was unable to find any other place that would accept me as new patient on a Saturday. Dr. Christian instantly took me in after explaining my horrific situation when my hearing aid died on me expectedly, on my way home from vacation (that day). When I first arrived to the office, Dr. Christian was very welcoming. He was very informative and honest about the hearing aid products. Furthermore, he was also lend me a borrower (hearing aid) to hold me over until my new hearing aid came in. In all the years of having hearing lost, Ive never been more comfortable and able to communicate through sign-language with my audiologist. Dear Dr. Sheri,I experienced a [not so] minor miracle this morning, on leaving your offices ... I heard things I hadnt heard properly for years ... just as you had predicted! Ive been going around all day, like a kid in a candy store, experiencing the new and improved sounds ... and with no feeling or sense that my new Lyric devices are in my ears, but for the incredible improvement in sound cognizance.I lunched downtown at Petterinos on Dearborne, amid the madding crowd of gobbling gabbers who were kept at bay in my brain while I enjoyed clear conversation with my darlin daughter who was amazed that I wasnt leaning across the table to capture heretofore fleeting words ... it was heaven!I cant begin to thank you properly (but Im sure going to try) for the incredible, professional care you and your firm provided in such a warm and welcoming environment.
