This girl named Amanda who works there was amazing. She helped me figure out which low beam headlight I Needed for my front light. She helped me install it when she didnt have to. And even replace the other one to make sure my lighting was even. Then she checked all my other lights and found That I have a problem with my taillight Not getting electricity when I press my brakes. I am very lucky that she found this problem and helped me out. She may have saved me from getting a traffic citation In the futureThat I cannot afford.I will be shopping here for now on due to How positive my experience was with Amanda and will be telling all my friends and family to go there as well. I highly recommend this store and asking for Amanda if she is working.
Always interesting going in to a place where younger generation selling you car parts without actually knowing about cars. They need better training and actually take a basic class in automotive.
I went to look for a part for the rear side of my car and the guy nick cruz said that there is not exist the rear part for my car he wasnt helpful i ask for someone with more experience and he was so rude he said that he has eight years of experience in auto parts so i went to advance auto parts and they find what I need maybenick cruz doesnt has experience in auto parts maybe he has experience in another thing i am not recommend this auto part in dekalb!!!
Typical. Guys/gals know their product.
Always great service. Knowledgable and fast. Kat was awesome.
Went on 7/10/21 4:40 pm to buy a caliper... Asked upon entry to the store clerk if they do split payment via card and cash... Shes says oh yeah thats no problem... I say great, we look up the part, she brings it to the counter, usual stuff... I use my card for $117 and then proceed to count out the cash which was all ones for another $80 bucks or so... She takes the money pauses and says ohhh no Ill have to call tech support cause Im ringing you up on a non cash drawer...I ask cant you just get my .60-.80 change from a cash drawer and let me get the part? Or better yet keep the change I just really need this part... I had driven 50 mins one way for this cause it was in stock at this location. I also needed this for a family members vehicle who was leaving for vacation 7/11/21 and had an unexpected break down I was trying to help with... (Back to the action) so now Im listening to her call tech support and place her on hold numerous times... The store manager is back there laughing about the situation with her making me slightly agitated....he tells me indirectly that the money will be back on my card within an hour and I can purchase it again the right way... I say great.. about 20 mins go by, she hangs up the phone and says tech support shut down our system so the card cannot be processed...I open my banking app to show her its already off the card...she says I apologize I can give you 10% off for the inconveniences... I said I have no money to buy that now you took all of it... She says I can wait the hour if Id like and come back to buy it... I tell her my drive time and how its not worth the wait to rely on the banks and her support...needless to say its morning...moneys not back on the card...I call the store...same manager from last night... He says I should of been more direct about needing to use split payment and his associates dont just make mistake like that...I said is that why you were both laughing it off behind the counter last night, making it feel like it was at my expense...instantly defensive he raises his voice and says, I had a mask on there is no way you could tell what I was doing behind it and this level of disrespect has now allowed me to be able to hang up on you... You can guess what happened to next...needless to say Im without a part, the family is without the vacation, and I have no money back from the failed purchase... Going to attempt to get ahold of their regional office... God I hate leaving reviews and extra work for a companies mistake that is then blamed on me... Totally worthless place if you ask me.... I want to also mentioned I have been to this store multiple times before and never had service this lacking and tasteless... Only hope someone reviews the footage of last night for the laughter from them and the problems... and then this mornings call to line up what their manager there is doing to their business... Cant believe he blamed me for this wholly...makes me livid
The manager is as rude as they come I can in to ask a question he said Im doing something dont you see two other people standing their
Great prices, parts in stock and very helpful salesman
Walked into the store with an issue and came out with a quick solution, thank you David for all your assistance. Quick and easy.
Quick in and out. Associate was very helpful.
If I could give 0 starts I would. The woman I spoke to today was extremely rude. I just wanted her to find a part for me, but instead she wanted to be disrespectful to me. DONT waste your time with this place.
Great got what I needed at good price
Friendly service. You may find all that you need, if not you can order it.
I came in for a new headlight for my car, and Jaz was so helpful! She even looked under the hood, made sure I was getting the right bulb, and helped install the light! Definitely coming here again, great customer service(:
Very helpful and they are doing covid procedures
The gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful in finding what I needed. He didnt do what many do when a woman asks questions about car repair, talking down or implying women cant do the work. He was casual and acted like he was just talking to someone else knowledgeable in vehicle repair.
6 foot rope between cashiers and customers. Credit pad pulled out so you dont need to interact close. Felt very safe
Sage is an amazing man. He showed me how to put my car battery on myself and I just think thats awesome
This location seems to be lacking customer service and general knowledge of automotive parts. I went here for Break pads, rotors, and spark plugs for a 2011 impala. I give the Older gentleman who started helping me the cars information. He asks me If it had the 4 cylinder or the 6 cylinder engine. I reply with there is no 4 cylinder engine in an impala before 2014. He tells me thats just what the computer says. I should have asked him if he had the right car but brushed it off. I take the parts and proceed to return to work on the car. As soon as I get to taking apart the Breaks I notice the new pads are the wrong size and shape, same with the rotor. I just assumed the plugs where wrong so I returned to the store. The next gentleman that helps me return the wrong parts for the correct ones, or so I thought. tells me the parts are for a 2010 malibu. Wrong year and wrong car not sure how that happens. I take the parts and return to the car. I go to put on the rotors and notice the caliper brackets dont fit around the rotors, and that the rotors dont have the holes for the torques bolt that holds it to the hub in the correct location. You cannot put in the torques bolt. Now I have to go back to the store a 3rd time. When I go in I explain to another much younger gentleman what was going on with the rotors and how I had already been there twice that day because of receiving the wrong parts. He checks the numbers on the rotors and assures me it is the correct part. I ask if they have a different brand and he says no they only carry the one. So I ask if he can check another one to see if maybe somehow there was a mix up. He acts seemingly annoyed and goes to grab another rotor comes back with an attitude and says they are the same. I again say there is something wrong and that the rotors are not correct. He then tells me in a snobby tone that I must be mistaking the year or trim of the vehicle. I tell him I have owned the car for several years and this isnt the first set of breaks I have put on the vehicle so couldnt be it. He then tells me that I must not know what I am doing or the caliper bracket is wrong because these are the correct rotors. I told him just give me my money back. I wasnt about to get into a pissing contest with someone who had no intention on actually being helpful. I went down the street to Advanced Auto parts. I talked to the guy there and explained what had happened. He goes and grabs a rotor and low and behold it looks exactly like the ones I was taking off the car. I purchased them went home and put them on my car without a problem perfect fit. If AutoZone is going to hire people that will tell the customer they are wrong when they arent, and when the people there clearly have zero Knowledge when it comes to car parts beyond what the computer tells them. They should just do away with the people and have a fully automated system. At least then the computer isnt going to talk down to the customer when the customer was 100% correct in the situation to begin with. Sadly I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.
Great help finding parts
Well its an auto zone so a bit of a wait. I do like the fact that can install your car battery or help with replacing an odd headlight bulb. I like the tool rental they have to help you get things done.
Great staff, knowledgeable, very helpful. Always willing to help.
Needed rear wiper for SUV. Was down to wire. Didnt have and couldnt order. Bummer. Lost car keys. Turned up inside rear tire so never lost. By the time I got home I found my new Peach Faced Love Bird very sick. He died that night before Thankgiving.
The customer service at this store is awesome!!! The manager came outside and changed my wipers for me when it was freezing cold. I tried to tip him but he refused to take it! I wont buy parts for my car anywhere else in town.
Its an Autozone, they care about car parts and equipment. Always have, always will.
Great customer service! Always very friendly and helpful, even when they are busy. They replaced my battery even though it was freezing cold out.
Super cool people. My truck died and we needed a bunch of different parts for it, but since it was winter and everything was cold, we couldnt always find the right ones or know exactly what we needed. The guys here hooked us up and helped us with any refunds or exchanges that we needed.
Good service. Not a very big fan of the parts quality. Only was here because the cost for my customers budget
Greeted at the door and asked if I needed help. Declined as I was just doing a quick look. Was kind of difficult to find what I was looking for as the shelf was very packed and not labeled. Employees were able to help me find the air filter.
Just your average auto zone
Always helpful folks working there - free battery testing is a huge perk, especially during the brutal winter we just got through. I have never had an issue with a warranty return over my years shopping there. Im very pleased with my experiences there.
Terrable service. One girl was busy talking to a friend for 5 minutes and looked under the influence. Other guy told me to go get my own oil filter from shelf and the store was almost empty.
Nick is a great guy and very helpful
I had a check engine light on and stopped in to have it read with their free service. The service rep made quick work of the trouble light information and was friendly. It was an emissions light for a bad solenoid for gas vapor during fill ups. They did have the ability to get the part and offered a discount. I will be back in the future.
Very knowledgeable and friendly
Seems to be the best place I have found in town for pricing and inventory.
Went to get a set of Rhino ramps to elevate my car for an oil change and the young man who took care of me told me they didnt have any but I can check in the back incase something similar. And as you could imagine it, I did and I found exactly what I was looking for with very little help. The rest was easy sailing but they should definitely try a but harder to please their customers.
This AutoZone has knowledgeable people for DIY people. You have questions, they usually have correct answers. Couple guys that work there really know a lot about cars.
Good, this is definitely sexist; ask the guys who work there if you have questions. The two times I did ask questions to the female working at the time, the answers were wrong. Oh well, mistakes happen maybe shes just not a good fit... But all in all, they didnt try to sell me anything & my experience was good.
They always hire people there. That actually know things about cars and can help you find what youre looking for fast.
The guys here are awesome and super friendly. Always help me with finding the correct parts I need.
Had what I needed !!!!
Every time I go here, I am helped right away and whatever I may need such as recently battery. I got my van checked to make sure the battery was the problem and then they installed it this only took 20 minutes and I was on my way home. Another time I had broken windshield wipers that i bought from them mths ago and they put new ones on for me at no charge. Very nice and helpful group of people
Very helpful place. Quick to help, they even help you do certain things foe your car right then and there
Very good customer service and very helpful. Will answer any questions about cars.
Knowledgeable staff will have you in and out in the blink of an eye. Cant beat their warranty on premium break pads either, lifetime warranty
Great place awesome workers always willing to help and very helpful with questions
Great people that work here and always willing to help
Very friendly place almost always have the parts that you need at a very fair price
Theyre always helpful and often have the parts I need at good prices and with good warranties. Gotta love the free engine code checks too.
No one at this store is real helpful. They would rather answer phones than help the customers that are standing in front of them. Go to OReilly if its an option
I like Autozone over their competitors because of the service.I asked about price matching and they told me they only price match from brick and mortar dedicated auto-parts stores. Which is a shame because Walmart is very competitively priced.I end up going to autozone for information about my vehicle, and then go to Walmart or an online retailer for the best price. Id rather give my money to Autozone than Walmart, but I will also go where my dollar goes farther.
Good service good prices
Thier computer said they had 5 thermostats in stock. They couldnt find 1. Would have had to order a gasket as well. Dont feel bad, Oriellys didnt have 1 either. Guess Ill want until Monday and go to a really Auto parts store. Napa
Customer service in this place is great all you need to know is just what youre looking for and they will have it
Good place to find auto parts ... Prices little high and some stuffs not available in their stocks, you will wait for them some days
Best customer service around! Always helpful and willing to go the extra mile!!
They have lots of unusual rental tools. Great place.
Very helpful in finding the tail light for my car, fast!
I own 5 vehicles so one of them almost always needs servicing. I find good quality parts at autozone and very good service individuals will go out of their way to help you.
Ordered a part 1st time never said it came in so they sent it back. Went in 2nd time the part they ordered was used and not all in box, luckily I checked in store . We will see what the 3rd time brings. The only reason Iam still going there for part is I have a gift card
Costumer service its ok, parts are cheaper but not really good.
As always Auto zone has the item I am needing and service was excellent ! Thanks
Stopped in to pick up chrome polish and cleaning supplies, walked out buying nothing after hearing one of the ladies who work there go on some loud, vulgar rant. Dont think she realized any one was in the store.Regardless, not impressed.
I went there today to get a refund for my brake pads that were still on warranty and I had the original box and receipt and they refused to give it to me. First because the he said because my phone number had changed and it wasnt the one on the warranty then when i called BS he proceeded to say because I had the work done at a shop and did not repurchase the parts from there . so after the second excuse I walked out and went to the crystal lale auto zone and had no issues they were very pleasant and stood by there warranty. Dekalb Auto Zone is auful I will never go to that one and I will advise others of there practices.
I did not go there
Friendly employees, but they looked up the engine air filter for my car on their computer and were wrong. Then when I returned it later that day, they said I had to give them my phone number even though I dont have an account with them. When I said it wasnt listed in the phone book for a reason, they said a phone number was needed to get a refund.
Manager was super understanding and helpful with a part return.
Very helpful guys
Helped in a timely and friendly fashion this time, last time not so good...big improvement
Dont know wut loc. Theyre referring to here but if its DeKalb.. Very Good Service.
Good staff. Very knowledgeable
Some of the nicest people
Good place for auto parts and free battery checkup
Friendly service and FREE OBD scans.
Been going there for years. Always helpful and good prices and lots of lifetime warranty
Everytime I call to check to see if something is in stock, I’m told yes. They take my name and number to hold the part. I drive over and they don’t have it in stock??!!! Customer service is the cheapest advertising and this store is a failure
Good Pricing..but ON TIME PROMISED DELIVERY AT 5PM AFTER 12NOON ORDERING...A PROBLEM..HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT DAY AFTER 10AM!!! BUMMER
Cant believe how cocky and arrogant the uninformed employees at this store are - after being asked irrelevant questions that didnt pertain to my car, the sales associate tells me its not his fault, thats what theyre telling him to say. Dont bother, find another auto parts store.
They are a joke. They ALWAYS mess up and give you the wrong parts. The one guy even insisted it was the right part even though it was obviously to small. NEVER go there again
Terrible. Computer glitches on price three different times. Ended up going somewhere else and paid $10 less
Have quality parts at a great price
They were very friendly and helpful.
Quick and easy shopping experience and the staff is helpful
Good price. Eccelent service.
I bought a gift card.Good service
Very good people.
The staff here werent very helpful. We waited a while for someone to look up which fluid we needed. Nobody was up at the front when I was ready to make my purchase, so we ended up just leaving.
Been there a few times, always helpful
I dont like them
Good s customer service
Unfortunately the customer service there is very poor
Good people good parts
They work hard here all the guys and gals are hardworkers!!
Good prices but slow to help customers who come in the door. Waited 15 minutes for someone to help me.
I suggest changing the Time it closes. Online says 10, but actually closes at 9
Wrong parts but great customer service. Problem easily rectified
Been in the auto mechanics trade for many years. The night I was there buying a battery the guy was super rude
Always helpful
