At one point I lead a large service center so I now what good service should be ! This always feels more than a service experience. The service Advisors are great. I have had Tom Mason a number of times and he goes over a beyond. I have to be honest during the pandemic I used another automotive shop because it was closer. The experience is not even close. I started coming back to Chesrown and now feel bad for using someone else for our car maintenance needs. The best waiting lounge of any automotive place I have been in. I can work or relax in the lounge. I have no problem waiting ! Its about the overall experience and you folks have nailed it !
I cannot thank Chesrown enough. Auston was such a great help and got us exactly what we wanted...but 2 years newer!! So happy to have purchased through them and will be able to enjoy having our vehicles serviced here for years to come. They really made a bad situation good and helped any way they could. Ive been in service 4 times recently to fix emergency brake. Originally, I noted a problem at time of routine service, and required all 4 brake pad and rotors replaced. However there was still no functioning emergency brake. Brought it back in to find problem, and turns out cable was rusted, and in tightening it, the cable broke. A replacement cable was ordered, and visit #3 showed that the wrong cable was ordered! Visit #4 was yesterday to replace the cable, and there is still ABSOLUTELY NO emergency brake function, even on a mild slope. This has been very expensive, not to mention the 40 min round trip it takes me to get to Chesrown from Powell. I tried to talk to the service manager today, and was only able to leave a message, that has not been returned. This is bad service!
Tom was wonderful. I was 20 minutes late dropping my car off and he was very kind and understanding. And my car was still done within an hour! Your whole staff is always great- my husband gets his Traverse serviced there, too- and we’ve always been very happy. Thank you!
Being a repeat customer to Chesrown, my wife and I were excited to look at new cars and get the ball rolling. We understand the pressures of the current economy and were willing to wait. We sat down with a salesmen who was not at all interested in selling us a vehicle. He was unbelievably rude to us saying things like, we can order whatever you want, but odds are, it wont come, and if you want employee pricing, well then, we are spinning our wheels, no one will honor GME pricing. Anyway, while I understand that there are more buyers than cars, I have never been disrespected like this when discussing a $70k purchase. This dealer has lost a customer for life. Such a shame to see people treated this way.
I took my elderly parents in to shop for what might be their last car. Michael was extremely patient with them and found my mom her red Buick Envision. They visited other dealers who didnt want to take the time needed with an older couple. Thank you so much for your professionalism.

One star is being generous. After buying a new vehicle here in 2015, I had a bad experience with the service department. So when I traded for a new vehicle in 2018, I went somewhere else. I was recently in need of a repair on this one and I thought I would give them a second chance because they are local. They had my vehicle for 8 days. I had to call and press them multiple times to get information and the repair finally done. Terrible communication and the people are far from compassionate or concerned with your situation. And the most unimpressive piece, to cap it off, was picking up the vehicle. Walk in and they say here is the price - I paid it - then the kid responsible for pulling it around says do you see it? yeah - ok here are the keys, you can go get it. You are truly just a number when you engage this car dealership and shame on me for trying them again.
I arrived early for my appointment, there was no line for service and the customer service rep was professional, informative and cheerful. I left my car for routine oil change, new filters and windshield wipers. The C.S.R. called me within an hour that my car was ready whenever I was ready to pick it up. Great service!
Don’t normally post reviews but this dealer left a pretty bad taste in my mouth. They had a truck in transit from GM that I wanted. Inventory is super hard to get ahold of right now with obvious situations. At first everything was good, trade value was perfect, sales guy I dealt with was cool. The moment I told them my credit union got me at a much better rate I was told that the truck deal was contingent on me financing through them and that they aren’t even accepting cash as payment right now.
Salesman was very helpful. Unfortunately he couldn’t show us the truck we wanted, because the sales manager was driving it and today is his day off. Why are associates driving “New” cars when the selection is so limited? Very disappointed!!
I thought I needed my brakes done and the tech explained that there is an issue with the brake pads that makes them sound like they need replaced before they actually do. I appreciated him explaining that to me instead of just changing my brakes and charging me for a service I didn’t actually need. I’ve always had great service when I bring my car in
Great experience. Let me take the vehicle overnight so my wife could test it out. Worked hard to find me any discounts. In and out in about 1.5 hours the next day from negotiations to finished signing. Even delivered the vehicle to my wife 20 mins away in Dublin so we could drive it home that afternoon. Dave was super nice and provided great service. Ordered my new mats, set up all of my accounts, and just very accommodating to everything I asked for.

Over a period of approximately 16 years, my wife and I have bought 6 vehicles from Chesrown. We have been very happy with the service provided by the GMC vehicles we have purchased. The lady who set up the appointment was so pleasant and professional. The gentleman at the reception was very welcoming and the service was finished timely. When the service was finished the lady at the cashiers office gave me a card for a free Car Wash. Their waiting room was also very pleasant and relaxing.

I bought my car from here almost 7 years ago. Supposed to get free oil changes done on the car. Im now in a motorized wheelchair and have a chariot trailers attached to the back of my car. I called to make an appointment to get the oil change done and asked if they would change it with the trailer attached because I have to have it so I can carry my wheelchair to get around. I was told they could not change my oil because of the trailer on the back. I was told I would have to remove the trailer before bringing it in to get the oil change done. My question is if I have to have it to get my wheelchair around how am I supposed to leave it at home and bring the car in for an oil change. Not a happy customer. They keep sending me emails and mail wanting to buy my car. I have left a message with the guy i bought my car from and have not received a return phone call back.
I dont think enough people do good reviews. Our salesman Michael did such a wonderful job. Service was amazing and also the process of trading in our car and purchasing one was easy! We were looking for our perfect truck for 6 months and finally found it, every other place we went to they werent friendly and we were just another potential sale/walk away. On 8/12/21 took my 1996 suburban for an alignment Which I had an appointment on Friday, August 13 at 2 PM early in the morning the service writer Jeff calls me saying that he was going to bring the truck in for brake inspection went I didn’t request a brake inspection I only requested and alignment He told me the he was going to call me later that afternoon after was done, no call, texted him aI called him before they closing the shop no answer.I called them the next morning 8/14/21 I was put on hold for about 20 minutes, 48 minutes later I got a texted saying the my truck was ready 🤔I went to picked up the truck and surprised they charged for an alignment and the brake inspection went I didn’t authorized that, not happy.I went back to talked to the lady who cashed me out and told her about it, she talked to someone and they refunded me money for the “brake inspection”I drove the truck home got ready to leave for our trip, with my family in the truck something felt wrong we to Marysville Oh and left tire went in the guy left the camber and caster bolts loose, NOT HAPPY. I was able to drive my truck to a shop and showed me what happened,, paid for an alignment to Chesrown and $378.00 to another shop THANK YOU GUYS FROM CHESROWN
We brought our car in for service of a knocking sound in the dash. When we came the next evening to pick it up, the HVAC blower was no longer working so we had to leave the car for an additional day. The next morning I received a text message letting me know that the blower had been left unplugged and my car was ready for pickup. Once we returned home, we realized the dash isnt even clipped back into place where it belongs. Complete lack of attention to their work, no accountability for the quality of their work, and no care for the effect this has on customers. The worst part is, this is the second time I have taken a vehicle for service here that was in worse shape after they touched it than it was when I brought it in. Last time was 8-9 years ago, so I thought Id give them another chance. That vehicle had to be repaired by another dealer because it wouldnt even drive after they did work on it. Clearly this is not a well run service department and I will tell everyone I know to avoid at all costs.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. No high pressure sales tactics. Jim Gill, the owner, always takes the time to say, Hello and converse with us. I really appreciate that.
I received zero communication on the status of my vehicle the day I dropped it off. I called and texted the service number I was provided and received no replies. I was forced to then call off of work costing me valuable vacation hours because I did not have a vehicle to drive. I then called the service department 6 times the next day over the course of 6 hours until someone finally called me back. When I went to pick up my vehicle they had lost my keys and took an additional 40 minutes for me to receive my truck. There were no apologies, only dumbfounded looks and jokes as to why they couldnt get my truck to me. I was told that my A/C compressor needed replaced which I declined at the time of service. 2 days later my A/C system began working again for approximately 3 hours before stopping again. This leads me to believe the actual issue is not with my compressor.
Well done guys. Service department manager went above and beyond my expectations today. I very much appreciated how my situation was resolved. Ive always been very pleased with the customer service here.

I was greated very well, signed in and was waiting for my service to be preformed. After about 10 min they came to advise me a test was performed on my alignment and they showed me a test result showing the variance from normal. after a brief discussion i told them it was ok to fix the problem which i dont know how it happened. After a two hr wait i went to the rep and ask what was taking so long, she said she would check on it. She came back and advised i was the next one to go on the rack for adjustment. I told her i need my car i have appts to attend to and why was i not advised it was going to take this long. NO information on how long it was to get me to the next position and then how long it might take to finish my car. As i was driving back i recalled 3 times i saw other people walking around with the same kinda of paper they presented to me on the out of adjustment. Noting they had a back up on alignment area I was thinking everyone their was getting the same information their vehicle needed alignment one wonders.... I have not had a problem in this area in the past thinking they may have a problem with their equiptment giving false readings. I should have been advised up front with an est on how long it was going to take then i could have agreed i could stay or make appt for another day.
It all started many months ago when I had service done on my wife’s car. The service department had great customer service and did a great job repairing her car. They represented the company well so in the world of internet shopping where I could buy anywhere I always checked Chesrown as well. When I checked Saturday morning you had a deal I liked. Brandon Moore did a great job with the sale. Tyler (internet) sales did a great job answering my questions before arrive. Finance department was quick and efficient. Well done by all. Bought a truck 3 years ago with the free oil change and tire rotation for the life of the vehicle as long as I own it. I was told I could just walk in and have this service done. I have done this since I have owned it with some issues with the service department. There were times where they didnt rotate my tires. One time my oil wasnt completely filled as I always check when I got home. Twice after my tires were rotated the hub caps had fell off while I was driving and they were smashed on the road. Today I get there and they tell me they cant do it as they have over booked today and didnt care that I drove an hour to have my oil changed and didnt matter if I was told I could walk in and have it done. No more buisness with chesrown.

I bought a truck from Chesrown because it had great google reviews and the lifetime powertrain warranty aslong as you service through them. After an accident I took it in to get looked at and have new tires put on. After buying the new tires they said the truck was good to go, all clear. The next day the wheel is crocked, so I bring it back on my day off. Thats weird, sorry it was out of alignment but its fixed now. Not even a week later its worse than ever before so I bring it in again. Now it has a broken ball joint so I pay and get it fixed. I pick my tuck up and the wheel isnt even straight leaving the dealership lot..... I called immediately and they said they will call me tomorrow.The people are very nice and the facility looks great but the service work and attention to detail just doesnt seem to match. If you are just going to get your oil changed to keep your warranty I think they are fine but Its hard to recommend them to anyone right now.I will update if anything changes.

Wish my loaner vehicle woulda been a truck. Since I had a 2500 getting serviced. I was promised at least a 1500 truck loaner when I bought mine. Going from a diesel 2500 to an equinox was lame, I had it a whole week. I basically wasted a weeks of payments on a truck for an equinox. Other than that I fully enjoyed every aspect of the dealer and i was still in need of a loaner vehicle. Would go back again for service as long as Im happy with my past treatment. Shout out to Jimmy, best and coolest service guys Ive dealt with. Hes got a good personality, hes honest, understanding, and best communication.

I bought five cars from this place over the past 17 years, largely due to convenient location. No more GMs for me. Had my 17 Colorado in there several times for transmission issues that were never ultimately resolved. The latest service visit resulted in filthy handprints on the headliner and visors. Do they not check their work? I ultimately unloaded the truck at another place after a joke lowball offer from Chesrown.The lifetime oil/rotate (not balance) seemed like a decent perk at purchase, but I found appointments to be increasingly many weeks out as time went on, to the point I ended up doing the work myself or taking the car somewhere else for the maintenance.Finally, too much upselling at service appointments. They recommended service that was absolutely not required (or even recommended) by the cars manufacturer.

I was glad you were able to identify the problem but was extremely disappointed when i saw the diagnostic cost was 130.00 vs what is normally charged in the past. It seem very high especially if the potential problem is minor in nature. I hope this will be adjusted in the future but do understand the pandemic may have caued this to keep people employed.

I need to amend a prior review. I purchased a GMC Terrain through Michael M. last week. I was lead to believe my car would have the all weather liners, as we had discussed this during the buying process. After I signed the papers I discovered the mats were not in the car and that I would need to purchase them separately. I was very disappointed by this and gave Michael and Chesrown a mediocre review when GM sent me a satisfaction survey. Michael called me a few days later to sincerely apologize for my unhappiness and to tell me he ordered the mats for me and everything would be taken care of. I was extremely impressed that he went above and beyond to make things right! I had the liners put in today (the service team was great as usual) and he since followed up again on his day off to make sure Im happy. We have purchased two cars at Chesrown and this will be where we go in the future. I would also highly recommend them to any friends or family. Terrible experience. Was told they didnt have a vehicle we were interested in because we qualify for employee pricing. Car sales people are litterally the worst. Will be calling corp to complain about this site. Didnt ask for any additional information from us because they knew we had employee pricing. No attempt to get us into another vechile or anything. So buyers beware this dealership is the old school method hold all your info back before you give them any details. Cheesy. unproffesional and liars.

Called Service department to schedule and oil change which included 4 recalls. Process easy. I asked lady on the phone if I needed to have someone come pick me up or use a rental. Lady on the phone said I could wait for my truck. When I arrived the service tech checked me in with the most friendliest personality. (Wish I could remember his name). He asked if I truly wanted to waited. The recalls would take more than an hour. Long story short, I was placed in a rental till my truck was service. Great job to all. I wanted to send a glowing review on your company. I had a breakdown on my 2003 Chevy Impala and it was around closing time, 5:30pm. Travis Pack was optimistic with helping me and relieved my anxiety of what to do? Im from Indiana and on my way to WV. My car started slowing down and wouldnt accelerate. The check engine light was blinking. I pulled into the service center and asked for help. Travis did a diagnostic and said hed get a part the next day and call with repair info. In the meantime he could drop me and my friend to a local hotel for the night, on his way home or call me a taxi or car rental place. He went out of his way to call a rental car place, and found the airport had one. A taxi came and took me to the airport. The next day Travis Pack called as promised and the repair was an ignition coil. It tested okay. I came back and picked up my car. He was a good employee. Requested service for my Silverado as soon as possible and got an appointment for the next morning. James Dean was my advisor and he did great checking me in and contacting me when the vehicle was ready.
It was fast and first rate service, the only exception was, we had a flat tire the next day. Im sure this was a unforeseen oversight on everyones part as when I took it to the local tire garage, he said that sometimes the pin inside the valve stem can stick and cause a slow leak. The only thing I figure that could be done to fix this problem is to have your technicians tap the pin a few times with the air chuck to ensure it reseats correctly.

Joey went above and beyond to “make things right.” Ultimately, he drove to my house, picked up my car, dropped off a loaner vehicle and had my Suburban fully detailed and returned to me.He was direct, made no excuses for what happened and apologized for the inconvenience. I couldn’t ask for anything more and appreciate the effort he made to personally address my issue.*******************Service continues to leave my car a mess. Every time it’s in for an oil change I find fingerprints and boot prints inside the car. I’ve raised this with the dealership and GM to no avail.The reason I bought the car from Chesrown was because they offered free oil change and tire rotation for the life of the vehicle. Nothing is free. My time or my money to clean up their mess. Beware.
I traded a 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid to this dealership and bought a 2015 Toyota Camry and let me be honest the trunk was half way full of water wished I would have looked before the purchase so the so called inspection was never done obviously . The car was wrecked, smelled like gas had drive line issues, Suspension issues, ripped drivers seat in the crease . Was all around a total pos . The salesman promised to order a part a few weeks after the purchase that would be Cedric but never did . Listen up if you want a lemonYou should by all means shop here I’m just trying to save someone some time grief and disappointment. Oh and Autocap won’t do anything it’s their word against yours . But In the end karma has a way of catching up to con artists . Do yourself a favor run !!
Service was great. when I went to pay I wanted to use my points. they would not let me use them because I did not have a voucher. I had no idea what they were talking about. so I paid and left. I probably will be back. But I thought I should of been help a little with points.

I have always been happy with Chesrown, but I have to say that my experience this time with service was not good. I had an appointment for an oil change, the sign even said 65 minutes for oil change, and we waited 2 hours in the lobby! We definitely won’t come back for service considering the free lifetime oil changes are gone. I would have made the drive and paid for the service we used to get, but will find somewhere closer.
Had to take vehicle in twice for same problem a week apart. Dealership should be more trustworthy considering the car was bought here and how expensive it is compared to going to a different auto shop for services. They did not offer any sort of tow service the second time I had to come for my engine overheating. Simply told me to drive it in (with the engine overheating) or pay for a tow to get to the dealership. After the second time going in to the dealership I got a flat tire the same day, I would think the dealership would have said something if they care about servicing a vehicle and making money.
10/12/21Here I am again. Google won’t let me leave another review so I’m adding this disappointing review to another one that I had previously. Unfortunately I’ve had another poor experience with Chesrown. I noticed an issue with my 3rd break light months ago that I figured didn’t need immediate repair so I decided to kill two birds with one stone and have it repaired when I went in for an oil change, considering I live about 45 minutes away from the dealership. After my oil change was complete they let me know that they would be unable to repair my light that day because they needed to order a part. A little annoying but I understand and make an appointment for the following week. I ask for an estimate on how long the repair will take and I’m told an hour at the most. So I agree to come first thing in the morning on Saturday, 10/2. I sit in the waiting area for over an hour when a technician comes out to tell me that the repair will take a few days and that I need to bring it back another day when they will be able to give me a loaner. Why the technician previously quoted me at an hour repair is beyond me. Not only did I have to wait over an hour to be told this news on a Saturday morning, but when I expressed my disappointment with them I got empty apologies and blank stares back. 45 minute drive to the dealership, an hour waiting in the waiting room and a 45 minute drive home accounts for 2 1/2 hours wasted as well as gas driving over 60 miles round trip in a Silverado. Gas isn’t cheap nowadays and my time needs to be respected. After expressing my distaste with their customer service I schedule yet another appointment. I was out of town last week so I had an appointment scheduled for today, 10/12. As I’m driving to the dealership it dawns on me that maybe I should confirm that they have a loaner for me because they have wronged me before. After speaking with someone I’m told I missed my appointment on 10/5(I was across the country at this time) and that there were no available loaners for today. After explaining that I would have not made an appointment for 10/5 because I was out of town and that I’m positive I set it for 10/12, I’m told it must have been a scheduling error on their part and that I’ll have to schedule yet another appointment. Finally having enough, I hang up in frustration. I’m at the end of my rope with this company. Since buying my truck in April 2020, I have been disappointed time after time after time in their customer service skills. I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to trust this company. This repair will have to wait until my next oil change in February because I cannot continue to waste time and money on their mistakes. And when you explain and express your problems with them, it’s as if it goes in one ear and out the other. Maybe one day this company will express respect and consideration for their customers. Until then, I’ll be hoping for the best but EXPECTING the worst.
Fast friendly service but, I’ve had to add fluids, pump up tires Immediately after being serviced. My truck had no windshield fluid last time and this time, my tires were rotated and they never added air. Was down to 29psi when I dropped off the car. Checked before leaving and was still 29-30. I would expect this to be done since part of the service. Had to add when I got home. I shouldn’t have to double check each time I have my vehicle serviced. My car was to have the full maintenance service for the first 7500 miles. I’ve serviced my new truck and car here since buying them and I may need to go somewhere else if steps continue to be skipped.

Back in 2013, I was looking to by a Camaro 2LT/RS, Yellow with Black stripes, black leather seats, 5-spoke polished aluminum wheels, all of it. We checked with multiple Chevy dealerships in Central Ohio, some even further, and none of them could offer the deal that Chesrown did, let alone the service quality. Thats when I met a guy named Tom Stephens. I never knew that this guy would become such a prominent person in my life, but he is one of the biggest reasons why I was able to find my dream car in 2013. Then, when I was ready to order the brand new Camaro SS in 2016, he was right there to help, going through all of the options and boxes that I could tick. I cannot thank him enough for everything he has done, as well as everyone at Chesrown. My family as a whole has now purchased over 12 cars from him. Tom is a great friend and salesman, not too mention an incredible people person; Ive met countless other gearheads just through Tom!

After many months of searching for a new truck we were out for a Sunday drive only to find Chesrown GMC is open on Sunday. We Purchased our New 2018 GMC Sierra Crew Cab SLT from Joey Powell @ Chesrown GMC. What a difference in salesmanship, and atmosphere. From our greeting to working with the sales manager to the financing person...this dealership is in a class of their own and truly knows how to treat a customer. And the selection is way beyond any other dealership we visited. Even though we are located about an hour from this dealership we will take advantage of the lifetime oil change and tire rotation just because of the way we were treated. At first they couldn’t do anything because of my credit and the the amount of money I owed on the car I was trying to trade in... they crazy thing is Tom Stephen didn’t stop when I left... half hour after I left that called me and said they had a deal for me went back and got it done

It would have been nice if I was told that the oil change is not free anymore. It was part of the agreement when I signed the lease. I’m confused how that part of the agreement is not being upheld.
