Ohio mulch in general is great, I would recommend driving to one of their other locations though. I own a landscaping company that is located closest to this location, but I drive to the Ohio Mulch on 23 for almost all of my purchases. Slow service at this location, and frequently their bulk material is a bit lighter than the other locations. I cant say for sure that I am being shorted, but I do know that each scoop is almost always less than any other location.

We were doing a mulch job in Delaware today and needed 2 more yards of mulch than we anticipated. We typically use Parks in Marion but went to Ohio mulch for 2 yards. We will never be using them again. It was the worst quality mulch I have seen in a long time. It was barely colored and you could easily see the wood through it. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

I like this place convenient & close by especially if you live in Delaware county, they have what you need, decent prices. I would’ve gave this place 5 starts but I can’t, since I experienced poor customer service more than 2 times, the same guy was very dry, not welcoming at all, and that is all fine by me. But when it comes to any help with your purchase such as locating more product because you bought so much you finished off the pallet or deciding what type of gravel to buy he is rude and acts like you are an inconvenience. Also I had purchased 50 bags of topsoil/mulch and had to load all by myself without being offered help.It doesn’t help that several of my family members including my wife was treated with the same attitude.

Great selection of mulch, huge inventory, great sale prices. Only 1 employee, busy when I got there, loaded 35 of 50 bag purchase myself before he was able to help. Not the norm for the Delaware location.

Need more employees to help customers load stuffs, Other than that they are the best place to buy mulch n rock. FYI for those that care, The garden soil is not that good at all.

Accidentally ordered Comp-Til instead of Topsoil and called and immediately changed it 4 days before delivery. They had to charge me again and told me they would refund the orginal purchase. Refunded me $57 of the original $187. When delivery came it was Comp-Til. Called and they brought the top soil and dumped it on top of the comp-til. After numerous phone calls noone is able to figure out my refund.Talked to Robert is corporate this morning. He says,You made out in the deal, why should we refund you?I have been charged for both and have 3 tons of compost in my driveway I now have to get rid of. He couldnt have been ruder.

Do not order from them for delivery, unless you never want to to receive it.So far they are two weeks late despite several calls and emails from me. I never received a call the delivery would be late and when I do call, they say they will get back to me and never have...so Ive paid over $200, the delivery is two weeks late and Ive had to cancel landscapers twice. On top of it all NO COMMUNICATION from Ohio Mulch. Terrible service.UPDATE: I was hoping to raise my rating, but...I finally did receive my order over two weeks late and they plopped 100 bags of mulch in the middle of my driveway blocking my garage. I was not notified of the revised delivery date so I was not home to help direct the delivery location. I had to pay someone to move the mulch in order to use my garage. I did talk to someone in customer support, they were nice but did nothing to rectify to situation at all.UPDATE 2: I started placing my mulch and it is full of white mold!. The mulch look marginally better than the year old mulch I am covering. So to recap - delivery service is awful, customer service is non-existent, and the product is of poor quality. I guess I will be going back to the big box stores to get my mulch next year.

I needed pine bark nuggets, which is sometimes tough to find, but Ohio Mulch has plenty in stock and they were on sale for only $3 per bag. The bag mulch selection is huge and they also have bulk mulch as well. I would definitely recommend doing there if you need mulch.

Everyone here was extremely helpful & super nice. I bought large stones & traveled over 500 miles just because customer service was excellent.

Great price, delivered on the day they said it would be.Only 2 small issues out of 100 bags delivered1) 2 bags were ripped2) about 5 bags had a faded color or had pollen mixed in with it.That being said still very pleased with the mulch and will go back to them again.

Convenient enough place to dump yard waste. The employees that work there are nice enough. However, this Ohio Mulch location perpetually closes early (e.g., 3:20 when the hours say 4pm) and open late. Yard waste, even if its a truck bed of leaves is $18, which is 3x higher than their Lewis Center location. If you purchase mulch from this location be sure to buy bulk as their bagged mulch is often short in volume. Also, because they process bagged yard waste and food scraps at this location their mulch often contains plastic and mold in it.

Great place to dump yard waste but if you want high quality mulch and material your better off going to kurtz brothers. Ohio mulch takes all the waste thats dump them grinds it into mulch so you find all kinds of debris in your mulch

Unfortunately we will not be using Ohio Mulch this year as we have for many years. I was surprised by the significant price increase for local deliveries this spring. I asked about the increase in person and was told by the employees that the increase was done to discourage deliveries because the owner is tired of dealing with delivery issues. Thanks!

The worst mulch I have ever gotten, filled with nails plastic bag bits, rocks and even black top parts all in the mulch that costed 40.00!!! Never again will I buy bulk mulch from them!!! had to dump it all out
