BEAUTIFUL cupcakes! The baker put a cute banner on the box Happy 70th birthday. I told her I made a mistake, that my husband was actually 71. She was going to make a new banner, right there! I think it will be funnier to say 70 since Covid wrecked everyones birthday last year.

I am super super disappointed with the order. Lets start with how many times I called since the morning to check if my order waa ready, more than 8 times and they didnt even bother to pick up the phone once. Then when I got to the store the lady at the front was super rude and just called the ladies in the back to come help me. I orderd custom sugar cookies. Each cookie was LITERALLY the size of my hand. I asked why the cookies are huge and they said oh this is the standard cookie size....The writing on the cookie was also so bad. One cookie is supposed to say Love on it if you look at it you read Loke. I dont even know how i am supposed to use these for my event. They look so bad and unprofessional. The least they couldve done is be nice and polite when i got there.

Marie and her daughter have been great. They made an amazing cake for my husbands 50th birthday! Marie worked patiently with me on the design and saw my vision and really made the cake way beyond my expectations. I got my Greek columns and writing, the cake was absolutely looking stunning. They delivered it on a Saturday and when I saw it for the first time, I actually cried, thats how beautiful it was!!!I ordered two tier, the bottom was an almond cake which was very moist and delicious. The top I wanted a pistachio flavor as that is my husbands favorite and even though its not a popular cake flavor, Marie really came through and made an amazing moist pistachio cake which was a big hit and a total success. Thank you so much!!! From now on, this is my to go place for a cake!!! Delicious!!!

I booked a wedding cake tasting one week in advance. I responded to several confirmation requests. Then, on the day before the tasting, I received a message to cancel my appointment. This is very unprofessional.Response to the owner: I received multiple messages but never a msg/call to ask for the missing information. Without much time left before my event, I just cant afford to work with a business I cant trust.

I ordered several times from them and I just love their cakes and pastries. Not only the custom cakes are very creative and beautiful but the taste is devine. It is like being back to Paris and enjoying French pastries. Their store in Delray is super cute and I had the privilege to see the kitchen: spotless! I also like the convenience of being able to order on line. Thumbs up!

I had shopped around to find the best baker that would do my baby shower cake. I’m very picky but when I found Sugar Chef they were awesome!! They listened to everything I wanted done and worked with me. I know I’m not a easy customer, however they made it so easy! I recommend them to anyone who wants their cakes done! My wedding cake was exactly what I wanted and it was delicious!

This is the second time Ive purchased a cake from Kate at the Sugar Chef. She is remarkable! The first cake we ordered from her was for our nieces wedding. She created a three layer cake with each layer a different flavor: Key Lime - bottom layer, Chocolate Banana - middle layer, and Vanilla for the bride and grooms anniversary top layer. I tasted the two bottom layers and the flavors were robust. Everyone at the wedding raved about the beauty of the cake...an ocean theme with chocolate lace coral and sea shells. Simply amazing! Last week, I ordered a Key lime flavored cake and requested that it be elegant for a formal dinner party. Kate created a gorgeous three layer cake with a scrumptious butter cream frosting of white roses. She is organized and efficient. You wont go wrong with her creating your dessert needs.

We ordered cupcakes to our wedding from Kate at sugar chef. They were delicious and everyone loved them. The flavor options available were amazing as well. My husband doesnt like cake much, but even he commented on how delicious they were!

My girlfriend bought me a cake from here. The cake looked amazing, but it didnt taste good whatsoever. We had about 10 different people try it and they couldnt eat more than two bites of it. It made my girlfriend extremely upset after setting up a surprise party and spending that much money on a cake for it to be a dud. Im giving Sugar Chef two stars because Sugar Chef gave a full refund, but if not I would have given this business one star.

I absolutely love you guys cupcakes... I head down that way about once a week to get my fix! The only suggestion I have is that you should put the Banana back into Giggles, and Ill have to by the Monkey again along with my Toffee Turvy! Amazing stuff- Keep doing what you are doing!!!

Kate did a nude cake for us in november 2017 and she did the exact flavor we requested (carrot and cream cheese) we couldnt be happier with our decision.

Impressive, professional, & AWESOME

Baker was not very friendly. I scheduled a tasting through the website. I was not informed that the tasting would be $25. I dont mind paying for a tasting but being informed of it in all the emails we exchanged should be a standard practice. She tried to manipulate me into a plainer cake and claiming the type of cake I want would not look nice. I am laughing now because why does this lady care that my cake will look silly if thats what I want and I didnt ask her for her opinion. I could have overlooked all her rudeness if her cakes were awesome but no such luck. She was rude AND her cake base was dry. However, I have to admit her frosting was really delicious and great consistency but sadly, thats the only upside of the tasting. I need a moist cake and great customer service. Ill take my business elsewhere.
