Review Part 1 of 2: Initial FittingHesitantly went to club champion - the cost was a consideration for the fitting and often the upsell on the shafts. I voiced my concerns with Alex and he tailored a fitting to look at options from the manufacturer as well as aftermarket options. We ran through a lot of shaft options and surprisingly, he strongly recommended an option from the manufacturer - the graphite steel shafts are super hot, but one of the KBS options was just so consistent with a far tighter dispersion. Alex is great, breaking down what we are looking for in a few metrics and describing in simple language why they are important. I dont like advisors over emphasize on high tech language to give an air of you wouldnt understand or just trust me - it was more - we need to look at spin because it does x, we need to look at descent angle because of y ... and so on. At each stage, Alex broke down the why and we got a fit that felt fantastic which created a highly repeatable shot and shot shape (the ever desirable butter cut). I freely admit, its often hard for me to take my hands off the wheel and let someone else steer, but if you go in with an open mind and are receptive to feedback, youll leave with a great experience. Go see Alex. Its worth the price. (Part 2 will be a clubs review once they come in).

SAVE YOUR MONEY! I wish you were able to meet your fitter prior to booking an appointment. I had Lorraine as a fitter and I did a Full bag fitting which was basically only a 3-wood & iron fitting.... my Driver was good from the go so no time spent there, 3-wood took about 20 min to suggest a $650 set-up.... there wasnt much technical feedback on iron data. Basically it went like heres what shaft fits your swing speed and whatever head feels good to you is what well go with... thats not what were looking for, we want flight path, spin rate, launch angles and I got NONE OF THAT. We basically skipped wedges because the demos they had were all so worn down and bad I couldnt hit them. For putting it was like being at a second hand store trying different putters on the turf with no science or theory behind what putter you should use. If Im going to spend money and time on a fitting I want a lot of technical data behind everything and some personal professional experience behind game play, not advice from an average weekend golf that fits clubs.... I would say out of the 3.5 hours I was there I spent and hour being vented to by the fitter (NOT ABOUT GOLF) another 45 min of the fitter going to the bathroom, 30 min waiting for the shaft that I was hitting to be repaired because it BROKE while I was testing irons, and the rest of the time wondering why I didnt just save my money and watch YouTube videos to get the same information. Ill delete this review if I get my $350 back for the fitting. I already lost 3.5 hours out of my life there so thats the least this place can do for such an AWFUL EXPERIENCE.

The salesman told me my clubs would be ready in four weeks, and now I find out it will be eight weeks. Since I paid in full for the clubs there has been no communication on updates for delivery, something I find disappointing. You have to call central number to find out what is going on. In my case they are waiting on putter and wont ship the balance of a full set of clubs until everything is ready. I was not advised this when I purchased the clubs.

Truly professional experience with Lorraine at Club Champion in Delray. I was a bit skeptical that I would get a “hard sell”, but was pleasantly surprised that she appreciated my coming in just to tweak new clubs, not to trade them in. We couldn’t even beat the data on my 12-year old driver. No pressure at all. Lorraine is very knowledgeable and patient. Loved the experience. If you’re serious about golf and your equipment, go see Lorraine.

Just finished an awesome experience at Club Champion in Delray with Joe Guerrero. Joe was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I watched YouTube videos of what to expect prior to my arrival so I was prepared for the experience. Hitting in the air conditioned bay with a full screen and Trackman Golf Simulator helped make this a pleasant experience. After hitting shots with my current driver, through a process of elimination, we selected the most efficient and comfortable shaft. Then the clubhead process began. I hit many combinations and picked the combination that gave the most distance with the least dispersion. The additional yardage will be useful on the course. Thank you Joe! Ill be back for fittings on other clubs.

From the moment I walked in the door I knew I made the right decision. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Lorraine did an outstanding job and helped me get the enthusiasm back for this game that I had lost as a direct result of an improperly fit club. She fit the clubs to my swing instead of trying to change it. The thing I liked the most is that I never felt rush and not once did she try to sell me on something that I didnt need. I highly recommend Club champion to anyone who is in the market for a new set of clubs. Thanks again Lorraine and the staff at Club champion. I will most certainly be back . I cannot rave anymore about Lorraine. From the moment I walked in we were laughing, serious and she got the job done. Did not try to sell me some 800 dollar shaft on the contrary she put me into the right shaft and explained to me so much info I did not know! She even let me hit all the new heads just to realize my head was perfect it was my swing weight etc. Absolutely fantastic and if you really want to get on her good side you better know all of Bruce Springsteens discography. Lol thank you Lorraine u rock!

If youre looking to dial in your game like the pro, this is the way to do it. I started by trying them out with a putter fitting, being a little sceptical. I was never a good putter. +2 per green and rarely saw a 1 putt when I played. I am now at 1.6 per green by just having the right tool in my hand. This is my second visit doing a full bag this time woods, irons, and wedges. Based off the Trackman, I can see my score going down at least another 6 strokes. I cant wait to get down to scratch golf! GO SEE JOE G. Hands down professional and passionate about making you a better golfer.

Finally made the move and bought new clubs. Went to Club Champion in the Delray Market Place. Joe Guerreno took care of me. He was super. Took his time and I went back several times till I was comfortable. I can’t say enough about the experience. He made it painless and I learned a lot. Love my new irons and hybrids.

Fitting was great and people there really want to help you get the right equipment no matter what sport you like you know having the custom equipment always helps now you still have to work at it
