This place is the best bagels and potatoe knishes ever. I have been in new York, Connecticut, all over the east coast and this is THE BEST! The freshness, soft chewy dough. The cream cheese is spot on with flavor. The girls working the front end are polite and quick. The knishes are usually my go to item. My husband likes there in-house mustard. I like mine heated plain. You can taste the love in each bite. I promise you will get hooked.

Been coming for years, consistent food . Their cold brew coffee is 100x better than Starbucks hands down . Everything is so fresh there . They also sell day old bagels in a bag for cheap, theyre great to freeze or toast at home .

Bagels not cooked well. My salt with plain cream cheese has a pink hue to the base of the bagel (I’m guessing they spread a strawberry cream cheese on it first, realized the mistake-scraped it off and then put plain cream cheese). NOPE. salt on one side. The taste is gummy. If you are looking for a NY style bagel, don’t stop here. Also tried the cinnamon twist which looked great in the case. Hard. Hard hard. brittle. When I broke it up - I could find a couple of sections where it was soft and flavorful. If it wasn’t over cooked, it would have been good.

Great place! Went there for the first time and wasnt disappointed. Got a turkey club bagel sandwich. A really nice lady assisted me with picking out a variety of bagels including chocolate chip bagels. Who knew?!! Big menu and lots of extras like this giant cinnamon roll and a nice looking cheese Danish. Definitely will be back!

Cannot rave about this place enough! Worth the drive each time and the cream cheeses are so good! For anyone close by or looking for a good place to eat definitely go here

Great service and and environment. The everything bagel was wayyy too salty, and you can see all the salt flakes on the bagel, huge ones. Would go back if the recipe changes.

Delicious Corned Beef Potato Knish with onions, carrots, light on the swiss cheese, with mustard and a side of fresh cole slaw--ingredients are freshly made with the right kind of seasoning. I highly recommended-prices are on average and are worth the amount of food.

Finally decided to try this place and its incredible! They seem to be constantly putting out bagels so theyre fresh and if youre used to those fast food chain bagels the bagels here will blow your mind theyre huge! My concern with local bagel shops is always whether there will be enough bagels by the time you get there and if the place is tiny inside, this place seems to have TONS of bagels and I have to say the photos on here make it seem much smaller inside than it actually is, there is PLENTY of seating!Having now tried this place Ill definitely start coming here on my weekends instead of my usual Dunkin

Was down in the Deltona area and stopped by this location for a quick bite of breakfast. The staff were very upbeat and friendly. So many options of bagels. I ended up trying the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. It was delicious, to the point I went every morning while I was down there to eat for breakfast. The other options looked just as good, bit I was hooked on the BEC bagel. Easy to get to and I never had a wait even when they were busy.

We have been coming here for years and typically love their bagels but lately on occasion they are tough like day old.

Such a friendly cafe/bakery. The staff is wonderful as well. I went for lunch to grab a two potato knish (highly recommended) and a drink. I went to pay with a card and their system shut down right when I was about to pay. I did not have any cash but they gave me my lunch for free.

We’re in from St. Louis and figured we would give this place a try. Place was fantastic. From the ordering to picking up to the staff being friendly. 10 bagels we got and all different toppings. Not 1 complaint. Couldn’t be any happier. Recommend to anyone in the area

Although the food is great, I would recommend checking your order before you leave. This has become an at least once a week breakfast place for us, but twice in a 2 week span my online order has been wrong. Staff is friendly and I have never been charged incorrectly. Orders were corrected promptly but now I feel the need to verify before I walk out the door.

I grew up in Deltona, and eating Bagel King breakfasts & lunches now and again. Best knishes Ive had in this state (only superceded by NYC). A myriad of fresh in house bagels, pastries, cookies, and lunch is great here, I recommend their Jessica Special for breakfast & Ruben for lunch . If you are from the Northeast this is the place for you. We live in Tampa now and when we visit family in Volusia County, this is on our must re-visit list.

I cant say enough good things about this place. The staff is small and works very well together. Ypu can always see the guys through the window behind the counter making the bagels and pastries. They obviously work very hard, and are masters at this craft. The bagels are always, ALWAYS perfect, and the variety of available bagels and cream cheeses are fantastic and flavorful. One of my favorite things to get is their stuffed breakfast knish. Even if I order a mini sized one, its a meal in of itself. The regular ones are just absolutely huge. And when they say stuffed, they mean STUFFED. I feel almost like the last one I ordered had a 4 egg omelet in between the dough and potatoes, along with globs of melty cheese and, in my case, a juicy breakfast sausage patty. I always take my orders to go because Its usually a weekend and I swing by for breakfast before hitting the beach. And honestly you HAVE to take that knish to go. I brought one home once that a family member didnt want to eat right a way and asked me to put in the fridge-- 30 minutes later she went to eat it and it was still very much very hot in the middle. So be warned that they make these things SO fresh that you will absolutely scald your face with one if you dont give it a decent cool down period. This also makes them great for take out or door dash because by the time you get around to eating it, its still hot and fresh. Do yourself a favor and get yourself a cinnamon twist. Theyre made with the same flaky, tasty dough they use for their fresh danishes, which I witnessed them making by hand one morning through a brief opening in the door to the kitchen. These things are giant and perfectly coated with a wonderful icing on top of their sugary-cinnamon goodness. Even better hot. Reheat value is A+ if youre wondering. If you do it right, they are still crispy, like they just came out of the oven. Get there early in the day, as their most popular items, including their knishes, sell out quickly most days. But Ive never had an issue getting one if Ive gone in before 9am. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!!

Moved to Florida from NY 14 years ago and could not find a good bagel store until a friend recommended Bagel King, I drive from Port Orange every weekend with my wife to go have breakfast here Bagels are great and the pastries are delicious as well Highly recommend you go

Plenty of bagels.Egg and cheese bagel was not good. Egg tasted like frozen eggs. The bagel was oat and I ordered whole wheat. Coffee was so weak. Starbucks would have been better

What a horrible place that many people call their place of work. The owners here don’t have any decency. This place deserves no stars. If I could give anyone advice it would be to not allow your child to work here or anybody for that matter. You will be sorry if you get hired. They will give you the runaround and lie to you. I’m sorry but I would rather show patronage to an establishment that was more welcoming and friendly. Quality of food does not make up for bad hospitality.

Great selection of bagels and fresh pastries. This is the only place around that I’ve found that can give me a real taste of the delicious bakery goods back on Long Island. I recommend them to everyone. They keep a clean presentable dining area and the staff is always friendly.

Bagel king bakery is absolutely amazing. Everyone that works there is very nice and welcoming. Their food is amazing, especially the breakfast sandwiches, I cant get enough of them. I happily drive 30 min just to get food from Bagel king because it is absolutely worth it. Of you have not tried this place, then it is a must. Also I went in almost before they closed and ordered 2 sandwiches, and as I was leaving one of their employees have me a free half dozen bagels and completely made my day.

Every dining experience I have had here has been top notch! Quality ingredients are used for their menu items and coffee here is flavorful and hot to the last drop. I appreciate the Classic/vintage style of this bakery and the service is superb!

Hidden gem! Our new favorite local place that we never knew existed. The knish are amazing. I recommend the Reuben, the turkey club, the egg salad (just egg and mayo, yet still delicious!), and the pineapple cream cheese. Really, you cant go wrong with anything you order.

Bagels were OK at best; the woman behind the counter was not very friendly. I used to get bagels from them frequently and they were great but something (??) has changed. Also, I ordered a dozen bagels (their dozen is 13) and only had 11 when I unpacked them at home. :-(

I have been eating here since elementary school and I will always be back. There is no better place around to grab fresh made everything bagel with scratch made vegetable cream cheese. Yesterday I stopped in for a late lunch and went with an everything bagel with everything possible, turkey, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard and of course veggy cream cheese, ohh and I added bacon. Now my only complaint is that it did not fit in my mouth for a bite. A large vanilla iced coffee and a small kinish were the perfect compliment to a great meal. I love the small town vibe and the great conversation that is always plentiful.

Nice to be able to get real bagels without having to drive 20 miles and then settle for chain restaurant bagels. Great locally owned restaurant. Good atmosphere and tunes. Been visiting Bagel King shops since the late 80s. They have the best New York bagels on the planet. Seriously the best.

My wife and I have been coming to Bagel along for quite a while now and the food never disappoints. Once in a while, I get a craving for an everything bagel with garlic creme cheese and it just hits the spot.My only issue with Bagel King is that they are no longer Covid compliant. Staff are not wearing masks, gloves, enforcing social distancing, etc. Since it’s become apparent that CV-19 isn’t going away anytime soon, Bagel Kong’s needs to do their part to help their customers feel safe while dining at their establishment.

The bagels are the best you can get. My Daughters and I often come for lunch everything is so fresh and wonderful. I try something new every visit and take home an arm full. If your looking for a quiet place to go this would fit your needs also everyone is very nice and it is very clean you will feel very welcomed.

So delicious!! Im not a bagel person but I havent been disappointed yet in trying new things off the menu. Today was rhe3 turkey club...it was perfect with plenty of meat and bacon. I had the potato salad for a sode and it did not disappoint! Staff was friendly and customer service was great! I will keep coming back for sure.

Drove and hour to try there fresh baked knish boy was i surprised got home with my food to find my knish was as hard as a hockey puck, I guess I shouldnt be surprised there are four microwavethere with each service name on it. Come and get your freshly microwave knish!!!!!!
