We go here often and for a great coffee and more breakfast options than the other true coffee stops in the area this is definitely the place to be. With a Boston Theme in a character filled building. We frequent Boston Coffee almost every week. The cold Brew coffee is a staple alongside the aptly named selection of specialty drinks to choose from. The severs are friendly and prompt. Come in for the coffee, hang around for the food, enjoy the scenery. 👌

This is a nice little cozy coffeehouse that also serves a variety of food and desserts. Very beautiful classic brick wall Decour inside. I often make this my stop off in Deland Florida when traveling for business.

My meal was fantastic and the drinks great! The service was the best part the girl that toke care of my table was generous and caring she was the best part of my experience here

Always loved this quaint little bistro. Boston caramocha frozen is awesome. I will say I got the sandwich this time and it had lettuce on it that I didnt want and I didnt get any sides with my sandwich. I was really hoping for their pasta salad. Little disappointed. The staff seemed over worked and a little stressed so I left a $10 tip. Hope I put a smile on somebodys face!

SO GOOD! In the heart of downtown, very calming and inviting while also keeping a historic feel. For Stetson (or college) students: it’s extremely refreshing from the commons food and is a great place to get out of your dorm and go to study. I had a chicken blt wrap and oh my god could not recommend it enough. The vanilla cold brew is nice and strong to keep you going for at least a couple hours. Highly recommend:)

Im from Massachusetts. When I walked in the decor made me feel like I was in the North End, or at least Morans in Attleboro.You might have to wait for a table, its worth it. The coffee is bold, full bodied. Do not mistake bitter coffee for strong coffee, that Seattle place serves bitter coffee, not strong coffee. Here the coffee is full of flavor but doesnt bite your tongue. My waffle was big, fluffy and done just right. Even though the place was completely packed, plus a steady stream of takeout business the service was top notch.This place does everything right. There is a parking lot next door so you dont have to park under Boston Garden and take the T.

One of the best coffee houses Ive been to in a long time! Great coffee and service as well. The coffee house was really cool, they had 3 different rooms and lots of unique blends of coffee beans. Their coffee mugs are really nice and they sell them too! The food was tasty and at a fair price. I definitely recommend this place. I give it 8 stars!! ☕

I came here 4 times so far, I love the vibes here it’s peaceful and the people who work here are respectful and good. I usually come here to study as I go to Stetson but today I just came to chill and drink some coffee. I like their egg & cheese corrosion it’s good!

Because of our early breakfast take-out experience a week ago, my sisters and I returned today to eat in. We wore masks and asked our server to please don a mask, at least when she came to the table. She literally paused, it seemed to allow the full measure of her dissatisfaction with the request to register, before turning to go behind the register. Never a word did she utter to us. Behind the counter she complained to another employee and a customer. The discussion then became audible as that customer turned to gaze at us and ask our server if she was talking about them. The server returned to say she did not have a mask. We said thats fine and got up to leave. At this point the customer repudiated us for our decision to leave. We at no point berated the server nor would we have. Her views were clear. We do not share them, however, what was also made clear was we were not entitled to have our own views, nor allowed a peaceful exit. What an intolerant and exclusive atmosphere.

This was my first time there - it was very busy and many people were waiting to be served. The guy who took my order was really nice but I asked for cold brew with some vanilla cream (as depicted in their promotional poster) and I got almost pure cream and sugar lol. It had a ton of milk, whipped cream and caramel topping. I couldn’t taste the coffee. I also got the French toast panini which should be called cinnamon bread sandwich because it’s not french toast. They used a cinnamon flavored bread and pressed it. It has an extremely strong/artificial cinnamon flavor so I personally didn’t like it very much. The shop is obviously popular and maybe I just didn’t like the specific things I ordered. For $13 I’d have rather eat fast food. I don’t know that I’d try it again when I could go to Keke’s and Starbucks instead.

Great lil gem in Downtown Deland! The pastries all look delicious! I plan on coming back to try it all one at a time. Very nice atmosphere, gives you that small town feel. Definitely recommend for people who enjoy that kind of feeling!

Love you guys but today you are getting a 2 star because my husband is now wearing his coffee we got to go. We were on our way to the west coast and we always enjoy grabbing a coffee when we pass by. Now we have to detour to buy clothes, but grateful we didn’t have an accident. NOT HAPPY!! Pleeeeease teach your team to check the cups before send them off with customers. One cup could make or break a returning patron. Do the math. Just not worth it! The left part of the rim caused the cup to collapse.

Good food and experience, even left over the food is really good, the coffee was really good but for a coffee house they didnt have many choices for creams or coffees. Affordable and will probably go back again.

What a lovely place. Very friendly,great menu. Inviting. A definite go to place for locals and visitors.I took some visiting family members for lunch this week. As usual it was absolutely wonderful! Services was great, friendly waitress, prompt and had some recommendations to choose from.I find myself going there alone for a cup of tea or specialty coffee just to relax before I start my day.Highly recommend it.

We stopped in on a cold blustery day. It was very warm inside. We sat at a table and it took a little while for the server to take our order. There were muffins but only a couple flavors. I ordered a french onion soup that lacked a little in presentation but was tasty.

They have an extensive menu breakfast and lunch they have amazing coffee balloons and the service is outstanding

This is my favorite coffee shoppe in Florida. I only go once or twice a year (which Id why I get two, one iced and one hot) and its always worth it. I will, however, say that if you like strong coffee get one or two additional shots of espresso depending on your drink size. And even though I typically drink a breve latte, I HIGHLY recommend you get the Yankee Doodle 🤤here!

I absolutely love Boston Coffeehouse. The drinks, sandwiches, and breakfast are great! Ive never had a bad meal there.I appreciate the relaxing atmosphere and often sit down to study for a couple hours. Its a great place to have a meeting or a lunch date.Theres some disparity in the reviews that I think can be explained by the fact that most of the staff is super friendly, but there are a couple servers that consistently rude, bring me off-tasting coffee with no whipped cream, then give me my receipt before Ive had a chance to finish my coffee or order any food. Its probably difficult for the servers to find a balance between ignoring those who come to study/sit for hours and wasting their time checking in on people who will only order a single coffee. The Wifi is also pretty spotty.I highly recommend Boston Coffeehouse because generally, the food and service is superb.

I drove from Fort Lauderdale to Deland to see my old friend Ray Long, Mr. Virginia 1983. He was the personal trainer for Isaac Hayes, and also worked with Muhammad Ali, Evander Holyfield and Pernell Whitaker. I needed some breakfast on arrival in Deland and Google recommended the Boston Coffeehouse. A quaint little place downtown, warm and inviting. Very classic decor and atmosphere. Had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich with orange juice. It was delicious. If you want to enjoy a nice breakfast or lunch, the Boston Coffeehouse is the place to be. Kind and courteous staff, good prices, plenty of specials in a nice quiet atmosphere. Ray Long is now 73 years old and visits the prison weekly to give sermons to the prisoners. Added note:Casa Daga is nearby. Google it. Its a magical place. Blue crystal springs and others also nearby. Great boating and kayaking, and four wheeling also. Did you know the monkeys at the springs were left there by the makers of the original Tarzan movies in the 1920s. They never caught and returned them to their native homeland.

My spouse and I met at Stetson in DeLand and recall going to Boston Coffee during our time as students. We are celebrating our anniversary this weekend and visited Boston Coffee to commemorate where it all began. He had the chicken salad croissant and chicken soup for lunch while I had their ham and apple sandwich and potato salad with a Crazy Colonial coffee - all excellent and costing around $30. Our memories of good food and coffee at this establishment did not fail us. We returned the same evening and raided their dessert bar - one toffee cheesecake, one white chocolate and raspberry cake, one earthquake cake and one slice of red velvet cheesecake-cake. Though we found the other desserts average to slightly above average, the earthquake took the cake as our favorite and the most impressive of the line-up. Thanks to the ladies working that day for good service and memories!

Although there are many Boston Coffehouses, this one in particular brings the most warmth out of all Ive visited.

Always friendly laid-back staff and environment... Wife loves the snikerdoodle and I have to have that potato salad no matter what main meal I choose. The portions are perfect...not too much not too little.

Sadly this was the second time my online order wasnt ready. When the one lady mentioned it to the younger girl, three girl knew about it yet failed to make it. 😕 Anyways, it wasnt a large order just 2 drinks but still dont offer online and fail to make them.

Stopped out with a friend today to try this place out, had the blueberry tea iced instead of hot and would easily visit here again. Like that you can walk in and choose your own table, that the menus are already close by so you have time to decide what you would want. Snapped a few pics so other people can get a peak of what I encountered whole visiting today.

Great sandwiches and soup. Did not like the regular house coffee. Tasted like water even after returning the first cup for a fresh one. The waiter was very nice and even put some espresso shots in the second cup, but still tasted like water. Left a full cup on table and instead ordered the iced coffee which that actually was great and tasted like coffee. Was not happy to be charged for the other house coffee because it was never drank and had to be returned twice. Other then the coffee issue the food and service and the atmosphere were great. 4 stars due to coffee issue or otherwise I would give the 5 stars. Please fix your house coffee to actually taste like coffee, not watered down, more coffee added in coffee filter before brewing might help. And dont charge the customer if the product is not good and the customer had to return the item twice.

Delicious coffee and pastries! Love that I can order it and have it delivered! The only thing I would change is if you could please label the coffees when we order more than one! We always end up drinking the wrong coffees before discovering the mix up! lol. Other then that deliciousness!

Everything was a positive. Service quality quantity, atmosphere... And the prices were amazing. They could easily charge more without any heads shaking because this cheap girl is shaking her head that the prices didnt even make me blink.

Love the way they have the seating separated for social distance small little nooks in different parts of the rooms as well as back room and outside seating. Now the coffee Im a Italian Brooklyn NY girl and the espresso brought me back to little Italy NYC yummy. The sandwich I had Amazing. Cant wait to return.

Best coffee ever! This little known coffee Corp even though in many places seems overshadowed by Starbucks but absolutely brings them to their knees. Great food great coffee who could ask for anything more.

Never any problems with food, quality is very consistent.If youre from out of town, you definitely need to go here! Their unique coffees are fantastic. My favorite is the cold vanilla-bean cold brew. Homemade coffee recipes stay the same year-round and you can get them hot, iced, or frozen. Other seasonal coffee recipes pop up too, and theyre always heavenly combinations of flavors. They can customize it any way you want with any type of flavored syrup or sugar-free option. All kinds of milks, creams, and non-dairy choices too. You can literally have it exactly how you want. Whats not to love about this?!

I had a chocolate chip scone which was delicious but a little on the dry side. The place was absolutely freezing but the coffee was delish. Bring a sweatshirt and you should be OK.
