WARNING! Dr is very inadequate. I have worn contacts for 50+ years and I took my current contact Rx with me. Dr gave me lenses to wear home and the were perfect. I ordered lenses based on Rx written and they were not the same she gave me to try. Since it had been over 30 days I was charged an additional $179 for a new exam to get Rx corrected. Dr insisted she didnt make a mistake so I didnt argue anymore. Finally she gave me Rx that I originally took to her. When I went to order glasses I questioned the difference in the Rx and was told it was because glasses and contacts are different. I cannot see correctly with the glasses. I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone.
The line is way too long. One single technician on site. Not worth the drive and waiting to get your eyeglasses fix.
I gave them my insurance info on a Sunday, they told me they couldnt set an appointment till I have insurance cleared. It cleared Monday. They told my wife they gave away my our appointment slots. They would call us back if they could squeeze us in. Never got a call back. Called Tuesday, they had one opening for Saturday. I said that wont do, there is two of us. He said he cant make an appointment till insurance clears. I asked what if I didnt have insurance and paid cash, he said he could have made the appointments then. What the hell? This is ridiculous.
I understand the precautions you are taking due to this covid pandemic. But when you instruct patients to wait and sit on the bagging table, something about that screams “unprofessional”. I showed up 30 minutes early as I know about paperwork needed prior to going in to see the optometrist, one hour later, I’m still waiting to be called. I’m taking my business somewhere else.
Total incompetence... $500 for glasses and never came never call. Lie about when they are gonna have my glasses. 3 weeks and today they say one more day. Pathetic
My husband sat on my glasses at 4pm on a Sunday. We quickly searched for an eye glasses stores open at that time on a Sunday and saw Walmart Vision Center was open until 5. We drove there and arrived around 4:40pm. The tech was helping someone else so I broswed around and waited until she was free. I told her what happened and she said let me look. She took them back in the Dr office and within 5 mins had my glasses completely fixed! And for free!!! I found some adorable frames and bought a back up pair while I was there. The tech was kind, helpful and very informative all while working past her time. I got the call 3 days later saying my glasses are ready. They now have a customer for life!!!
I had a great experience, although I will miss Dr. Nazario the new Dr. Kohler is very friendly and knowledgeable. My past prescription wasn’t correct and she took the time to figure out what the problem was. Nora is also wonderful and very helpful.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I called yesterday to ask for an appointment, and the lovely receptionist (note, this is sarcasm) told me that they dont have a eye doctor there until Wednesday and HUNG UP ON ME without another word. She didnt ask what I needed regarding my glasses, she didnt apologize for being unable to help, and she didnt even ask if she could schedule an appointment within the next few days. She just hung up on me. Like, what?? I could also hear here talking to one of her friends in the background while she was on the phone with me. This is the perfect way to run your business if you want to lose potential customers. This is, without a doubt, the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
Id like to say they were amazing and very helpful but the truth is I stood here for over 10 minutes listening to the only the staff member on duty talk to a customer/friend in detail about how she can do nothing with out the doctor on site and how understaffed they have been and go over the customer/friends personal schedule for the next few weeks.... without so much as a glance, or can i help you, or ill be right with you. I gave up and walked away and im still carrying around my broken glasses. Ill stick to the sanford store. they know what customer service is.
We just walked out of the vision center after being treated like an inconvenience to the only person running in at this time. she wasnt friendly or welcoming at all and when she looked at me as if I was stupid in response to my question of where the mens frames are and where the womens frames are (Im telling you she literally raised her eyebrows look back and forth at two walls and then looked at me expecting me to a figured out the answer by that. Then she rocked her back and forth. No more room but lots bu
I called and spoke with jeanin and told her I already got my prescription and that I already did my eye exam. do I need a appointment just to buy glasses. She gave me a attitude and said well of course yes! I show up for my appointment to get glasses ten minutes later I find out they put me down for a eye exam witch I already said I got it done I just needed the glasses. After that I started to look for glasses and didnt find anything but they didnt have any designer brand and my insurance is covered up to $200 so I went to 20/20 eyeglass store in Orange City and got my glasses there. I paid nothing. and they also had designer glasses.
The people here are amazing. Will always come back.
I just wish they had posted what time the actual vision center itself opened not the supercenter
