Started off with a service call in 2018. Coil freezing. This company told me every was fine and that I just needed some refrigerant. A little over a year later 2019 I had called back for another service called because coil freezing up. This time they got out gadgets and found a leak. Spent a boat load on labor and new coil over 1000 dollars. Now just recently 2020 I called this company air current to come out and take a look at my coil because again it was freezing. The REPLCED coil was leaking I was told and I would have to buy another! 1400 they quoted. Bottom line it was a misdiagnosis and these people are scammers if you have money to blow call them if you want a through service call and not a fly by nighter on to the next for 90 dollars like these folks GO ELSEWHERE!!!! For god sake.

I cant tell you what a life saver Leslie and this business are! We had a Trane unit installed 3 years ago from a different company and over time noticed it was slowly deteriorating in quality/capability of cooling our home. The company we purchased it from would not return my calls or my emails after a tech came out and told us we have a slow leak and that our unit in the garage wasnt sealed properly at installation. This was 8 months ago. Two weeks ago we hit the breaking point with the AC running for 20 hours minimum only to cool us to 84-79 from day to overnight. With my final attempt with the original company failing yet again, with promises of calls back that never happened, I called Air Current from a recommendation through a friend.Leslie listened to all my concerns at 7 pm at night, had a tech here the following day, verified our issue (manufacturer defect), gave us a charge to get us comfortable until the part came in. This was a huge blessing because we had been camping out in our living room with a window unit on couches and air mattresses for almost a week and now my AC wasnt running for over 20 hours, making my Duke Energy bill blossom. She called and checked in to see if we were comfortable before the end of the business day, handled all the warranty hoops, scheduled us for repair, called the day before repair to confirm and got us cool again!A great company who clearly cares about the PERSON, unlike the other company....I would recommend them to anyone and everyone and they have a customer for life with us.Thank you Leslie and crew for your hard work and dedication!

I cant say enough GREAT things about AIR CURRENT. When my 15-year-old AC broke down a month ago on a Thursday night, I called around trying to find someone to do the repair while also pricing a new system (I knew this would be the year to replace mine). Long story short, they gave me the best price on the repair by far, got the part quickly, loaned me a window AC unit while I was without air, did the repair (and two weeks later came back and replaced a capacitor at NO CHARGE to keep me running while we waited for my new system!) and also gave me the BEST price on a new 4-ton TRANE unit, beating out competitors in the area by thousands. When my unit arrived brand new from the factory, they were out the very next day, and the 4-hour installation was complete in less than 3 hours. Jim and crew were absolutely professional and treated my property with respect. Wish Id known about AIR CURRENT for the past 15 years! I truly felt like they treated me like family. I woke up to a complaining teen and a sweaty 15-month old, and I was in a panic to get my home’s temperature down from 87 degrees and counting. I called my home warranty company and was told 3-4 days! I called this company and got same day service, and the technician came earlier than the slot originally told to me because of the baby in the home. The issue was fixed in 30 minutes. I called over 15 companies around town with no luck it was around 4:30pm and everyone else wanted me to call back and wait till tomorrow or next week. I then called Air Current She was very polite and very knowledgeable. I had a great time talking with them and getting my Air conditioning back to ice cold. I was treated like a person and a valuable customer. I would most definitely Recommend your Air conditioning needs to this local company.

After a year of high electric bills and 80+ temperatures in our house, we financed a new air condition system with Lowes. The Lowes representative showed up with the installer from Air Current and they evaluated our needs and our home. We selected a high efficiency 3.5 ton heat pump system with a UV light package.The installation went smoothly and our new system was installed two months ago. The whole process took about 3 hours and that included rebuilding the air handler return box and sealing it. The heat pump was set on a new hurricane pad and leveled. They did a great job. The only negative was the mastic on the hot water heater, wall, and floor that tracked onto the driveway.During the first month we had our system set at 78 degrees and it kept our home cool. We were afraid to set it lower due to our $400 plus electric bills last year May to November. Our electric bill came back at 178.00 the first month.During the month of May, we dropped our thermostat to 75 daytime and 72 night time and were expecting a huge bill for May due to the number of days it was in the 90s. Our home was cool and never more than a degree of where our thermostat was set. Even with our thermostat set low and our pool pump doing extra duty due to the heat our electric bill was only $262.00.The amount we save on our electric bill pays the financing of our new system and our home has never been so cool.

This is one of the best AC repair shops around. They will take time to actually diagnose the problem with the AC, not just throw parts at it while running up your bill. My air handler went out last Saturday, and I called another big name company in central Florida on Sunday to come out and look at my unit, the guy was there for about 5 minutes placed his leads on the fan wires coming from the thermostat and said my motor and motor module was bad. He did not go any further. This left me questioning his diagnosis. So I called Air Current to get a second opinion. When Air Current came out, they spent 1-1.5 hours with me diagnosing the problem to the fan controller board and the motor module. I was able to fix my air handler for less than half of the cost that the other company quoted because Air Current actually diagnosed the problem to the issue and didnt just throw parts at it. Everyone was very pleasant to work with, from Leslie who answered the phone and answered all of my questions, to the technician who came out and diagnosed the problem. I will defiantly be calling Air Current in the future. Thank You Air Current.

Excellent Experience! Ive used the same service since moving to Florida almost 15 years ago. This last Saturday, the unit outside wasnt working and I called him. He completely blew me off saying he might be able to get here in a couple weeks. Since he sold me the system, and it was still under warranty, I was a little distressed, to put it mildly. I called Air Current and they were here in under 3 hours on our first 90+ steamy Saturday. They fixed the issue, explained exactly what happened and are checking on the warranty for me. Avoid this company bad news, They can take just under $14,000 for 2 brand new ac units installed with warranty but when one of the system break less than a year down the road and says it will cost another $900 to repair and stated this is a discounted price to help us out. Do your reached and find a more reliable company

I purchased and entire Heating Unit from another company (I am suing same). After a few weeks or, so, this brand new unit was not performing at its capacity. I notified the company that I purchased the unit from and explained to them that is was not functioning correctly. They sent someone out after several days and gave a temporary fix.. I then called Air Current who sent someone out within a couple hours and when everything was checked, it was revealed that none of cables (underground) from the unit outside to the heating unit inside the garage were changed. the previous cables were about twenty years old. This Company had replaced a brand new furnace but did not change the cables.Air Current replaced those cables and rewired my unit. It has been several years now and have not had a problem since. Unfortunately, my company chose to do the repair. Six months later, another major breakdown for a completely different reason, at which point my company did choose to have it replaced. I appreciate the quick phone and service response to my AC unit failing. One complaint I have is the unit is only 1.5 years old and the power cable was shorting through the conduit at the base of the outside unit. The conduit was burnt through and scorched. I would not expect an installation to fail after only 1.5 years so I cant say Im happy with the installation and Im a bit concerned of what is next.

I have used this company and have referred people to this company in the past and sadly, I can say that I will not do so in the future.I called them and they sent someone out the next day, which was nice. They charged me $110 to send the technician out and for him to tell me that they couldnt do anything because the unit was frozen and that they would be back the next day. The next day, they charged me $110 again. I called the office to question the $110 charge twice and the young lady was very rude and belligerent. About a week later, the same unit stopped working again, so I called another company to come look at it. They found a bad connection, which should have been noticed by AirCurrent either the first or second time they were here and charged me $110. Im very disappointed.

They explained things to me and when they were done, they left a clean working place, as if they never were there. The first company I dealt with didnt care and just wanted to rush back to their office for the next appt. just to get the day finish leaving my problem unsolved and me down $225.00....At Air Current, they stayed until the job was done...and I was a happy camper.Thanks again guys!! Great Service, Quick Response and On time!

We invested into the Trane 20Vi as a retrofit with three dampers (zones), Curren was our contact and he was great. They sent a team of four guys, all very professional and courteous. They arrived as promised, spent more time than they anticipated but didnt whine because of the overtime. They have the highest Trane rating and if your are considering a Trane HVAC or any other system, go with Air Current, totally happy but so much for the boat I was looking at . . . . :(

I had schd a air conditioner chk up with homedepot. Whn the guy shiwd up he informed me he culdnt do the chk up cause the fan moter and compacitor wer gone. I was unaware cause it seemd 2 b wrking . The price in addition 2 the service chg of $79 was almost $1000.and culdnt b installd till the next day he had 2 order 1. Keep in mind it was 93degrees and i was sitting my 2 yr old grandson. I cald and spoke with leslie and she informd me the total cost wuld b $450. I said yes immediately although she had to schdl for the nest day. I was ok with that since i was saving money.shortly thereafter her tech(raymond i thnk) showd up to install the motor. He was a great guy very professional. I thnk she took pity on a grandma and her grandchild being in that heat and sent him. Thank goodness. This will b my go to co.I cant thank her enough she savd my day. I have got a chain of resorts in the countryside and all of them needed different air conditioner systems. From roof top units, split systems, package systems, furnaces, to indoor air quality products the Air Current Inc. provided me with all the necessary items to give the ultimate decor and service to my customers.

This company has no customer service skills, we had a system installed 3 yrs ago, I was given a folder as big as a book, with warranty and information, no where on any of this forms, does it state anything about a service fee. Air breaks over Labor Day weekend, make phone call for service, not once does the owner Lesley informs us that there would be an $85 service call plus labor, free part...sure it was!!! I call to ask about this fee, we argue, and she has the nerve to tell me if I dont like it, she can tell her service tech to take the new part out, install the old one back and I can go somewhere else. Really?? That we should have know that there was going to be a service fee and how much it would be. Yea, cause I should know their business. I told her it wasnt about the fee, just the way it was handle. We let the guy finish, but never again will we or anybody we know call these people. I agree with that other review, these guys are a rip off!!!

Amazing service!

I had to replace my entire Trane heat pump system. It performed well for 16 years and I knew when I wanted a new system, it would be a Trane. I obtained quotes from (4) different companies and decided to go with Air Current, Inc. I am so glad I did. From my meeting with Curren Golden to go over the sales agreement to the finished install, they were truly amazing. Taylor in the office was wonderful to talk to. The install techs were very knowledgeable, knew exactly what they were doing, performed a professional install, were kind, courteous, and answered every question I had. They cleaned up the site and hauled off all of the old equipment as well as packaging from the new units. My new Trane system exceeds my expectations and so did Air Current, Inc. I will continue to use their services and will recommend them to anyone who needs AC services. What a great team they have. Thank you, Air Current for an excellent job!

This place is a rip off, DO NOT CALL!! They overcharge, are very rude, and dont care about you. Their answer to everything is replace it. I received a second opinion and it costed in total $140 to fix my system when these guys wanted $110 just to see them and $600 to refill my system. Ridiculous!!

Absolutely horrible customer service. Lesley is rude, she began cussing on the phone telling me that I would not be sent a technician to fix me a/c that was already serviced by them just last month...and broke again. I have two small children and now no heater. Horrible experience.
