I met with an estimator in early March to have two windows repaired, a price was given with an expected lead time of two weeks. After two weeks I called and spoke to Brian for an update. I was told there was a shipment of windows that just came in and he would check if my windows were included in the delivery, he would get back to me. Never received a callback, so I called again several days later. Once again I spoke to Brian, I was told he forgot to call me back and that my windows were in and would be installed on Friday at 2pm given the weather permitted. Friday came and went with no installation or call from either the installer or Brian. A week later I called AGAIN and spoke to Brian. This time Brian wasnt sure why the installer didnt show up and Brian would call me back with an update and another scheduled install date. You guessed it, never received a call and here it is a month later. I finally cancelled my order and have called someone else that wants to do the work. I have no clue how this company is still in business! I will never attempt to do business with them again.

We replaced almost 9 full window panes and each one leaked and became murky.This was the reason we replaced them for, originally. Who ever supply them with glass sure gave them poor quality glass.

Five stars for the glass guru of Baton Rouge! They did not try to upsell me new windows when all I needed was some glass panes replaced. They came when they said they would come; they delivered on time and saved me a lot of money. I’m very pleased with this company and the professional service they offer.

The original review was not in any way meant to reflect negatively on the company, it was left only because I was unable to get a call back and was trying to see if owner would respond to verify they were still in business before I scratched them and moved on to another company. I have since spoken to the owner and everything is good. Google doesnt allow you to delete reviews, so I can only update it. Ben has always been responsive and professional.

Today I had a insulated window glass pane (31-7/8 x 54-1/8”) replaced. Great job!Problem was a foggy window. Found vendor thru google search. Left contact info on website and received response within the hour. Vendor came out same day, provided quote. Ordered replacement glass and installed it 1 week later.Technician was on time, professional, a cleaned up when he was finish.

My back door glass shattered. Called Glass Guru, they sent out someone and he measured the glass and left. I had to call them a week later for status. They told me it takes time to come in. Another week went by and they called me. I took a day off from work for them to install. The company came out and the guy couldn’t figure out how to install the glass.He called the Supervisor or tech that first took the measurements. Neither of them new how to install the glass. They both indicated that they would contact a door company. I called this glass company a week later.——NO ONE EVER RESPONDED!Simply So Sad! Denham Springs.

I got my old aluminum windows replaced with a vinyl framed window. Great people. Good response time. Locally owned. Class act all around. Competitively priced. I priced 2 other companies locally and decided to go with Glass Guru based on the better product and better installation, better people. They impressed me. Hauled off all broken glass and trash and reinstalled my alarm system sensors.

Great windows and even better service. Ben personally came inspect my broken window within hours of contacting him and had the window ordered the same day.Devin, the installer, contacted me to schedule a convenient time to install (without giving a 2-hour time window - no pun intended). I told him 1:30 and he was there at 1:25 waiting on me. The window was installed in minutes and the tint color matched perfectly. Devin even shined my floors before he left!Next time I brake a window (or just need my floors cleaned...), I know who to call for honest and prompt service — the Glass Guru!

Two thumbs down for competency, customer service, timeliness and communication skills. I ordered two sliding glass door pieces of glass at end of Oct. I was told that it would be 10 days. They were finally installed 35 days after order, Dec 3rd. They never called me to tell me that the order was not in, then the wrong size, that the installer was sick or the holidays. These were all the excuses they gave me. I had to keep calling them to get an update. When I showed up today, glass was installed. No call to tell me that it was done. The key to the house was in the door with the door ajar(this was a vacant house and I had lockbox for technician) Someone had shattered bathroom mirror in home. Luckily they didnt vandalize anything else. After all the delays and lack of consideration of my property, I asked for some sort of discount. They refused and said that they wouldnt make any money if they did that. They lack in communication and business skills. Customer service is non existent as well. I would not use them again.

Ben and his crew are top notch! Did a great job installing and cleaning up after themselves with the demo. I constantly recommend this company for anyone looking to replace old windows. No one better in the business!

Lady that answered the phone was nice. Other than that called about Glass twice they had me text A cell phone number pictures of it never responded at all. Little advice if you run a business and answer your customers questions.

I almost never leave reviews for any type of service but I was so displeased with this company I felt compelled to let others know.I would not recommend this company to anyone. They knew my window needed to be replaced ASAP but failed to let me know that my window came in a week and a half prior to them calling me.They then used the weather as an excuse as to why they couldn’t get to my install earlier and they didn’t have any excuse as to why they didn’t keep me informed of the status of my window. Extremely unprofessional. I try to support small businesses whenever possible but an experience such as this one shows why it is often better to go with more established companies. I would wholeheartedly recommend that you not use Glass Guru for your window needs.

Ben was very professional along with all his employees! They left NO mess and took extra precautions with our floors. Our windows look so great and we are very please with his custom service. We definitely recommend The Glass Guru!

We have been customers of the Glass Guru for awhile now, when my son hit a ball through a window, they were there sizing and taking are of everything in no time after we called. After the flood, they gave my home a new look. I highly recommend the The Glass Guru Team. Great work and lead by a great local business leader.

I moved into my house and the previous owner was to replace 5 windows. He chose Guru Glass, they came out and installed them. I called them when the 1st window fogged up. I still had my receipt and warranty (which was still in effect). They came, looked at it and told me that the mildew on the brick caused it to fail.He proceeded to sell me another one for $2600. I was not very happy with them, and I would certainly not purchase another one from them when they wouldnt honor my warranty in the first place.As of now all 5 windows have lost their seal and fogged up. I would not recommend Guru Glass to anyone!

Salesman came out and was very knowledgeable with the quote. Someone else was going to follow up to schedule time to perform the repair. After 2 weeks Of nothing from this company I gave up, called a competitor and had work done within 48 hours and $100 less than quoted.

Very professional company with competitive prices. The glass came in quick and was installed in a timely manner. Would highly recommend and I will continue to use this company in the future.

I have used Glass Guru for multiple projects over the last 5 years. The owner is very knowledge and has always been available to answer any questions that I have. The glass replacement work provided has always been completed in a timely and professional manner.

Came out quickly to take a look at my broken window. Was told he would get back to me with a repair quote within 2 days. After 4 days of not hearing anything I called and left a message. That was over a week ago and still have not heard anything.

I try 4 times in week and leave voicemail but never get response from them still waiting to call me back let see how long its take time

OH WELL ITS NOT WE WORK ON. BUT ON THE WEBSITE IT SAYS YOU SPECIALIZE IN EMERGENCY GLASS REPAIR, STOREFRONT HOMES CARS AND ETC. I COULD HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM FIXED TWO DAYS AGO INSTEAD IM IN A WILD GOOSE HUNT, NEVER AGAIN
