I am a land developer and have purchased many manufactured homes in the past from various dealerships. I purchased my most recent home from Clayton Homes in Denison Texas. I will say that this was the best experience I have had in purchasing manufactured homes! Matt took care of me from the moment I walked onto the lot back in March and the level of service provided by him and his team all the way through the entire process has been exceptional! Jerry the service manager came out to trim out my home after it was delivered and was there until all issues were corrected, awesome job! The general manager Jason came out for the final walkthrough and delivered the keys and a gift basket! I really cannot say enough about these folks, they really have their act together! Megan the office manager has also kept everything running smoothly and timely as well and the Clayton home itself is the highest quality home I have purchased. Now that I have found this team of professionals, I will not go anywhere else!

We are very displeased knowing now we were lied to for 23 years of our lives know. Some is our fault cause we signed,, but when you need a place while expecting a baby,, you need a place. We were told by Chris our payments will be around 800 a month. When we were closing I saw 975 and asked him if thats what they will be. He couldve very Well of been honest and just said, yes,, but he kept saying no. Granted if so we probably wouldve found a cheaper option but he said no since we dont have to pay land taxes cause our grandparents do. He said were getting a great deal and our payments will be around 800. Then he made us sign. We werent.too worried at the time since it does say estimated payment. But now as our loan has updated and multiple calls with the loan company nothing can be changed and its 975. Our trailer has also been placed in the spot since late June but nobody has come out there to finish septic or water for it in a week and a half and the 60 day countdown to our first payment has already started. The only good thing is that we closed within 2 months, and Jason did allow us to get a master key for the time being to move in some stuff in. Otherwise dont bother coming here. We were just another pay check.

Really like our new house of 10 months. Have been very disappointed in the finishing touches by the manufacturer in regards to trim,door stops,barn door tracking,caulking around shower & tub. Very upsetting per corporate office telling me no Hud requirements for sealing up drain and water lines coming into house so the new mice and bugs were my problem, as of today 9-25-20.

BUYER BEWARE!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!They are smooth and sweet up front, but afterwards your left hanging. You buy a new home, you want just that. A NEW HOME! We have had numerous issues with our”new home” To make it worse we have a 5 year “bumper to bumper warranty” basically and we still can’t get what we paid for. It’s a constant run around to eat up your warranty time. You have to consistently follow up. This is their problem, not yours. Shouldn’t they be the ones following up? Isn’t this good customer service? And when you do hear from them it’s to say they will pass it on or have you contact someone that they have contracted with them and you become middle man where no one is on the same page. We are a year in and still have not had all our repairs taken care of such as foundation issues from day 1, leaking doors/windows, showers/bathtubs that won’t drain, island counters replaced twice coming apart from the wall. None of this even to mention how they promised to preserve our landscape that was established over 10 years worth. We came home to it all gone. Our specifications picked for accents walls were not full filled, our septic was gutted and no alarm wiring that overflowed in our yard numerous times yet they said met inspection approval. Hello! This is a county requirement. This is shady inspection! And worst part, we made them aware we had 2 special needs children. So we needed dates as accurate as possible for transition out of our old home into the new. These dates were never accurate and we ended up trying to get stuff out of our home last minute because they cane without notice to take our old home and then late getting our new one in and we were left in a pop up camper on the property (told we’d have utilities and didn’t) having to buy a generator and do the best we could homeless. Still we cannot get repairs completed a year later. Please save yourself the heartache. We have been as patient as we possibly can with this company and still fighting a year later. Matt was our salesman, Jason is the manager We have communicated with both and same result and they refuse to give me communication info for someone higher up. So we are going to every business contact we can to bring this bad business to attention thats taking advantage of our local community and families. BBB, FTA etc. I encourage anyone that’s had this experience or knows someone who has to do the same.

Exhausted, and dont keep there word, never write a review but felt i should this time, Me and my husband went to clayton homes in Denison Tx to try to buy a used mobile home, Chris walked us back to see a used 3 bedroom 2 bath that needed work and was for sale then gave us a price of $20,000. with a package deal of delivery/setup/skirting/and two sets of steps included then told us to come back tomorrow and that the home needed to be moved soon, went back the next day and was told they would give us a call and i asked if i could look at the m/h again he said yes so i did, (was getting so happy about it), after receiving no phone call i went back and talked to Jason they said was the manager he walked back with me and said he would call me back, well he never did call me back, so i went back again but this time they gave me a larger price, i really think they could have saved us time and not get our hopes up before letting us down by not calling like they said and letting us know something then upping the price to 28,500.

Clayton in Denison has developed a lot over the last couple of years, and I really enjoyed my experience. Matt was an awesome salesman, and showed me the wide variety of homes they have to choose from. He also walked me through the process of buying, which can be kind of scary. I love the new models and styles theyre coming out with, and feel that they provide excellent customer service along the way!

Matt was wonderful from the beginning. He listens to your needs and meets them with understanding and straight to the points and bottom line. I highly recommend him and Clayton Homes to everyone. They are having to be patient with me, as it has turned out, because my funds are taking awhile longer to get transferred than expected. They have been very patient and have been taking care of things on their end. Jason has been good to work with too, he did all of our paper work with us because Matt was with another customer. My husband & I have been very pleased with Matt and Jason.

Buyer beware, use common sense and shop around. We found prices here to run higher than others. Weve also found about 90% of places up charge too much, go to every possible place you can to get prices and floor plans before making a decision.

I was disappointed in the quality of the home and the customer service. There was no inspection and many things, including the stove not being plugged in as well as the AC/Heat not wired correctly, plus missing light bulb fixtures, over spray on the doors, a rip in the flooring, loose tiles on backsplash and sloppy work in general. It took over 6 months to get these things fixed. The worst part was I had to work hard, many emails and calls many of those things repeated over and over. And one of the subcontractors was very disrespectful, treating me like I was a dumb little lady. Big mistake.

They are fast to take your deposit money and slow to get the home set up Eric was the sales guy for one of my friends he’s never there and when he’s there he lies! I recommend hench’s.

If you are thinking abt buying a home from these people......DONT!!!! I picked out a home/land package. I had a sales contract with them, already paid for my appraisal, and permits and had escrowed funds. When my appraisal was first done, the administrative assistant, Cathy; pointed the appraiser to the wrong home and that home was appraised. This wasted valuable time because it took two weeks to get that aporaisal back before we even found out it was on the wrong home. Then, another week to get the correct appraisal done. Then, I find out the original sales rep sold me a piece of land that was too small for my home. That sales rep was either terminated or quit. My file was placed with another sales rep. From the very begining, we had decided on certain upgrades that we desired for our home and it was agreed that these upgrades would be included in the price. My soon to be neighbors were gracious enough to give us a 4 foot encroachment. So, the home is then placed on the property with the utilities installed and hooked up. Things are going nicely and the decks were built. However, the planner that was hired to do the drive and sidewalk was sloppy and rude. Even the city stated that they never wanted to do business with her again. Her name by the way is Shana Cody. When called to question different aspects of the work, she always had a abrasive attitude. She did not do the agreed upon work correctly. This loan process started the first week in April. I was extremely frustrated with Clayton for not returning calls or texts. The sales rep who took over my file after the appraisal was done, left out multiple agreed upon upgrades to the deal. Claytons GM, Jason then held up the sales agreement and stated....this is what I go by. It took some yelling to get the regional managers attention...who just happened to be in the office that day. Luckily, I have every paper scanned, every conversation recorded, and every text saved. I fired my loan broker due to the fact this home was still not closed on. I went directly to my sales rep there at Clayton, Eric and reminded him again that I did not have much time left on my lease at my apartment and needed to close in two weeks. I agreed to use one of their lenders and filled out the application that evening. Eric stated he was going in the room to fax it right away, and brought back a copy of the application I had just filled out. He stated that we would know something the next day. The next day, I returned to the office after calling Cathy, the administrative assistant and not getting any direct answers. Of course, Eric was off for the day. I questioned why the neighbors had reported two people on a Harley going into the home the day prior and being in the home for an hour and a half without any work being done. The back doors to the deck were also left opened.I could not get a straight answer. So, while at the office, I took it upon myself to call the mortgage company...who had never received my application. I then went back to Cathy who let it slip that the two people who were in my contracted home were there taking video and pictures to sell the home right out from under me. I demanded that Cathy get the GM Jason back in the office, while I was calling my attorney. He came in and had the nerve to say that I was declined, when that was far from the truth. I fired my broker because he was out of Corpus Christi, Tx and was taking way to long to close. The only time I was declined was when I did a joint application. Only my credit was good enough to secure the loan. The GM did send my application through, and I have since been contacted by them for approval. However, I declined buying this home and stated that I would probably wait until next year. I have signed a lease with a luxury apartment complex, which my credit and income were more than approved for. My attorney is now going through each scanned document, recorded conversations, text messages and sales agreements to proceed in legal action. I spent a lot of money preparing for this home, dont make the mistake I did!
