I bought an LG T.V. (Without warranty)expecting to go home and watch it. Nope! It was having color issues, so everything is now black and white. I recommend not getting an LG, but if you get any TV from here... I guess you have to get the warranty. I’m realizing now that this company does not handle “shipping with care”. Buyer beware for flat screens.

Yes you can find what you need but costumes service is horrible!! Do i have to be white to get attention and service! I waited to get help and no body bother to help me out! The guy from the camaras help someone instead of me and when he was done he didnt bother to come help me. He walk away from where i was and i had more time waiting for help than the others till I have to walk to to some girl and she did help me and this wasnt even her department. She was nice and try to help me. She was from the mobile department. I guess next time i will go and ask her. Best buy needs to teach them some manners.!!!😠😠😠😡

The majority of my visits here have ended without success. Often times the stocking is poor to non-existent and actually finding an item is a challenge. The few times I did find an item it was hilariously overpriced and easily not worth the price. And, despite all my visits, I dont think Ive ever spoken to a staff member. Save your time and order something online. If you cant wait just look anywhere else.

For years I have been coming to the Loop 288 location. I have purchased many electronics, games, lap top, and I even purchased my LG washer and dryer. I have always been satisfied and great customer service. Today I was disappointed with customer service. All I wanted was to verify that I had the right glass screen protector for a tablet we just purchased at the same location. (I even had it with me) I felt like I was getting redirected and nobody was able to get me an answer not even the geek squad. If would of known that I was going to get no assistance I would of gone elsewhere.

I had the worst experience ever at this location. I purchased a tv with total tech and full motion mount on Saturday. The sales guy informed me that starting on Tuesday 10/5 the services are free. He even talked me into getting a Best Buy credit card. He insisted that I purchased the items that day but to come back on Tuesday to re-ring the sale for my other tv to be mounted as well. I rushed from Plano to do exactly what he told me and ended up finding out other TVs were not on install and had to purchase kit to hide cords. Jazmin was very helpful. She setup installation on my other TVs and explained what to do on returns. My installation for 82 inch and mount was postponed due to 3rd party not bringing correct size van. Installer called stating he was picking up items then called back 20 minutes later to say a manager would call me to assist. After waiting a hour I called and was transferred to customer service someone working from home which was no help. I drove to the store and manager was aware of situation but only response for not contacting me because he was waiting on a response by email, no direct number to contact company installing tv. No guarantee on when my tv could be mounted. I took off work to accommodate long 1-8pm hour window. Total inconvenience and horrible experience I had to return everything. Manager on duty Ryan was very rude no interaction or apology for being inconvenienced and I don’t understand how or why they didn’t put any effort in saving the sale or customer. I don’t recommend this location for any services.

I went to this store with my partner with the intention of purchasing a TV for our apartment. Upon entering, we were not greeted by the individual at the front, although other customers were. My partner and I stood by the TVs alone for over 30 minutes trying to answer our questions ourselves, until deciding to go to the front and search out an employee for help. I asked the same individual at the front if there was anyone available to help answer a few questions, and he told me no because everyone is the story was currently busy. However, there was literally a maximum of three other customers in the store and it was clear that they just did not want to help us. My partner and I continued to look at the TVs on our own, and painfully watched 3 different employees as well as the manager walk by us, look both of us up and down, say nothing and walk away. After realizing that no one would help us and we couldnt figure it out ourselves, we decided to give up. I dont know if we werent helped because of our orientation or not, but I can say for certain that the store was Not busy and the employees just seemed unwilling to help because they didnt want to. Will NOT be coming back, and would definitely recommend going to a different Best Buy.

I bought a camera that was not in stock in store but was told it would take 2 days to ship. 2 weeks later I call the store and they tell me that it’s the shipping company’s problem. I call the shipping company and they say they lost it and that Best Buy will handle it but that I need to contact Best Buy to let them know.WHY WOULD Best Buy USE A SHIPPING COMPANY that is 40 percent cheaper than other companies according to the hours of hold recordings I listened too trying to contact them.I’ve called customer service for 2 days for Best Buy where I wait on hold until the line shuts off.This is disappointing and honestly just ridicules

Disappointing for as long as I have shopped here, over 15 years.UPDATE: Went back because not a lot of brick and mortar choices when you need a laptop. Pleasantly surprised at inventory and service. Met Jenna who was both knowledgeable and a good listener. Explained what I wanted and we found a Lenovo. Didnt buy it because I found their outlet store, Microcenter, and got an ASUS exactly built the way I want it for $300 less than at Best Buy. Still it was a reassuring visit to one of my favorite stores.

Employees at this Denton location are inexperienced, rude, and unhelpful and management is completely incompetent. This location also doesn’t carry as much stuff as others do. Always, friendly. However, when I asked a lady worker where the other brand SD cards were located, she said you only carried sans disk. I told her I had previously purchased many other brands there, but she still insisted. I eventually found at least 4 or more brands on my own, so maybe she needs more training. Also, the store should group all the SD cards together so someone doesnt have to hunt the whole store for them. It doesnt make since having them scattered everywhere.

My mom recently bought two laptop computers from #Bestbuy online for her two grandchildren graduating. We went to return one computer, The Microsoft surface laptop to the Denton location on Loop 288, due todamage from shipping and they would not accept the return. The girl working the check out was very kind and had everything ready for the return. The computer was all set to go. She called the manager to come and override the return. The male manager came up to me at the counter and was very rude! Instead of greeting us, he began to question why havent you brought this in? First of all when working in sales, your priority is customer service. Since my mom has Elite status we had 30 days. There was no need to question us! Then he went to check our account and saw that the return status was good but he still had to go and get another manager. While we were waiting the manager implied that the sales clerk needed to put away the new computer because someone may run out of the store with it. In the end the other manager was rude and began to question us like we did something to the computer. The manager even caught herself and said well if you touch this screen to hard it will crack but they still did not honor the return. We will never shop at this location again! #bestbuy

June 24 went this store. Thus small store was not busy. There were 2 employees taking at check out register. 2 on the front greeting desk. Three at the back dress. One was without uniform. I thought he was customer. I went at the check out station, because cannot see customer service counter. I asked where I can get ps4 controller. I was told go back of the store on lock section and someone will help you there. I went, no one was there. After standing about 10 minutes I go in the middle of store and interuped the chating employees and asked if someone can help me back there. I was told yes someone will be coming. Went back there. After 10 minutes waiting I was going out when three people standing there was told that its very poor customer service as Noone approached back to help me. Then without uniform employee came forward and said lets go there and what you need. I told him that I need controller. He take me to the locked section and saidos4 controller are no more available in USA. I came out if the store and buy that from Walmart. Somebody should check this frustrating and poorest customer service I have seen in this best buy store.

The Denton store has zero concept of customer service. We shop often at Flower Mound/Highland Village store and was genuinely shocked by how we were treated and spoken to by comparison to the Denton store. I will not set foot in this location again, I will continue to drive the extra miles to the Flower Mound location to be treated with kindness and respect.

I went in wanting an open box alienware and asked where the laptops were upon entry. I was directed to them and when I got to the department there were 2 associates taking care of 2 people. One acknowledged me and said they dont carry the laptop but I let him know its an open box item I saw online can he please help, he said we have to get it down and while juggling me and his customer directed me towards the overhead bay they were in. I went to wait next to them and he got intercepted and rather than explaining I was next so I got left hung to dry. I waited diligently hoping the other associate would be back to save the day soon, no one did. I asked a nice gentleman for help that I would like to buy a laptop and he attempted to get someone but was in warehouse so couldnt help me himself which is understandable. All in all after about 45 minutes another couple got helped in front of me so im just going to have to try to figure something else out. I drove an hour to view the open box item, and wasnt helped so they get 2 star for potentially having the item

I frequent the Bestbuy store in Frisco off of DNT but since I was near this location I figured Id stop by, I assumed its a big box store that would have everything my store had. I was wrong, shelves were half empty & extremely sloppy. I asked for a 50in Samsung TV which showed in stock online, uninterested associate said it was not but she could order for 5 day shipping. I asked if there was anything similar, she said no, 5 day shipping. I asked if they had a computer chair that also showed avaliable in store, same answer, no 5 day shipping. At check out the associate was clearly annoyed with the last customer & it was evident, I asked if I had any certificates avaliable, she rolled her eyes & checked.I love bestbuy but I certainly dont love this store. Sometimes you dont want to buy things online & waitA little customer service goes a long way

I was looking for a 4K TV to use as a computer monitor and dropped in to see how they looked in person. The guy working the area was very knowledgeable about the specs on the TVs and recommended I consider a real monitor instead. They had a great deal on some that were not in stock at the moment so I ordered them for delivery to my home.They arrived a few days early and work perfectly. Ive since verified everything the employee told me and researched the monitor to be sure it really was a good price.There are some things that you really want to put your hands on before buying. Best Buy seems to be positioning themselves to specialize in those areas.

This review is long overdue, but I received the greatest level of service from John @ The Car Audio dept at the Denton Best Buy. He did an amazing job on a custom install for me, and went above and beyond in ensuring everything was installed top notch. I have done car audio installs myself, and also paid for installs all around DFW, from CarToys, to very expensive small shops. This was far and away the best install I have ever had done, and I cant thank John enough for his attention to detail and excellent work.

Do not ever buy anything from this rip off place! I bought my wife a phone paid 80 bucks for insurance to have it replaced just walk in. Guess what nope gotta wait a week or so for them to send you the wrong phone and then try to charge you again to send you the right one. One of worst customer service experiences Ive had. Nothing like buying an overpriced phone screen protector because they assured me there was a warranty they would stand behind only to find out later the warranty only covered the protector. Then they stopped stocking them so replacements had to be ordered and now they say that one is unavailable and so much for standing behind the warranty not even so much as were sorry heres a discount on a new one...People like to complain that online is killing brick and mortar stores but some of them are doing a pretty good job of doing themselves in.

Call me old fashioned but there is still a thrill about going into a Best buy is there not? I mean heading towards the newest tech in the TV isle, listening to the surround, looking at the newest games from the different consoles. Kind of a childhood thing, I think. Well times have changed but you can still go to Best Buy be socially distanced and though not completely nostalgic it does feel about as close as you can come. The stores are clean with sanitation stations and while you will still catch jack ashes still not wearing a mask (what is that about, anyway) you can still catch a techno feel. Peace, love and wear a frickin mask even if youve already had covid, why? Cause help be a part of the answer not why should i!

She was incredibly rude to the employee who helped her out from the very beginning of their engagement. He certainly handled it better than I would have. Maybe a review isnt the best place for this, but Starseed there are better ways to spend your free time then berating retail workers for things out of their control like stock inventory.

Every time I frequent a best buy store there is an issue. Flower mound marked a price wrong on a xbox controller and wouldnt honor their mistake. Denton: Then I had a birthday coupon that is useless because it excludes everything. Only reason I went back is because I had a store credit from a Christmas present I bought my dad that didnt get returned by the 16th but the 22nd. Just disappointed. Maybe if they didnt hire kids to work the front end who really dont care. I literally had to ask to talk to a manager about the coupon. The girl at the register even said she has never seen any if those birthday coupons work. Big shocker. I guess business must be doing well for best buy during a pandemic.

Good staff and they have my items in stock 75% of the time but today when I came in to get a battery replaced in a phone they told me they needed to have it unlocked for further testing after they replace the battery. I have secure access information stored in the device as part of my business and its not info that others are allowed to see and they didnt even try to help me by offering to replace the battery and then in my presence perform the needed testing. They just said we cannot help. That tells me all I needed to know about any future requests of geek squad! Off to my carrier store to buy a new phone that they could have had a sell on if only they tried to understand the nature of govt contacts and secure access!
