The people at this place are so wonderful, best doughnuts in Denton!

Hubby picked up for door dash and the owner gave him donut holes for free. He also ordered a half of dozen of the kolache’s with sausage and bacon, both were delicious! This was our first time eating here will definitely order again.

I believe this place is under new management! When i walk in i am always greeted with a happy “Good Morning” makes the start of my day great! Also they sometimes give you extra donuts to taste! The donuts are so yummy! The Baker does an excellent job! Such great people!!! Definitely my go to donut shop!

Went here this morning and it was great! the kolaches were a little smaller than normal but they tasted really good. I always get an old fashion donut and the one I had here was the best ive had in Denton. The owner is really nice and I she gave me a couple extra donuts just to try!

Im surprised about the negative reviews so I thought I would leave one. I am in love with the sausage jalopeano thing they have, so yummy. The donuts are great. The service is fine, obviously english is a second language, but I have never gotten the feeling the lady is unfriendly. She seems very nice and helpful.

HORRIBLE customer service. The lady acted like she was very inconvienced. I felt rushed and unwelcome. The donuts were decent, but not worth the service. Plenty of other exceedingly kind shops in town that also give you complimentary donuts, which this one lacks. I will not be returning here ever again.

Best old fashioned donuts and best breakfast croissant. Seriously. I just ate the most sinful breakfast sandwich from this place. Im worried I might develop a problem from stopping here all the time now.

Not a very pleasant place. As I have tried almost every donut place in Denton, Im truly disappointed with SJ donuts. The customer service lacked by far. The lady behind the counter seemed kind da annoyed that she had to wait on my children to decide. Being that I have taught them they need to order for themselves. She just didnt seem very nice. We ordered donuts and pig in blankets. Ill start with the donuts. We had donut holes. Glazed and chocolate. The dough was very tough as if it had been made several days ago. The glazing was good and sweet on both flavors. Now the pig in a blanket. We had small and large. The bread horrendous. It was so dry and the large piggy had only a small amount of bread on the middle section. Half of the sausage had no bread. Lastly, I got a Big Blue soda to drink and it was flat. I would not recommend this donut shop to my friends unless it was a last resort. Even then Id probably go to the grocery store. Sorry I didnt take a picture of the piggys for ya.

This place is the worst. Their customer service is the worst. Someone who used to there told me that when people go in and ask them what they do with their donuts, since not all get sold, to tell them that they donate them. That is a bunch of bull, they actually throw them away, and definitely do not compliment customers at all.
