As an avid rider for over 40 years, I have worked with many service writers in many shops throughout the country. Brandon at Big Tex is by far the best and most customer service focused writer that I have ever had the pleasure of working with and being fully serviced by. Professionally, I train people in the delivery of world class customer service and Brandon exemplifies the model of this level of delivery. I now have my Indian serviced only by him and I highly recommend him and Big Tex for all Indian Service needs!

I actually tried them out because I was not happy with the service department at the Fort Worth Indain. They were friendly and courteous which I cannot say the same about Fort Worth. Once on site it took only 30 minutes. That his great service. Once there i also talk to their parts guy Christian for a rain suit and he had the right level of experience to guide me in my choice. I found a beautiful 2015 Indian Scout at Big Tex online and Paul reached out to me the next day (via email) asking if I had any questions. We exchanged a few emails and I decided to go in and see the bike in person.I was a bit overwhelmed by all the amazing bikes when I arrived, but Paul eased my tensions and showed me the bike with no pressure and no gimmicks. I went home and did some research on the 2015 Scout, watched some YouTube videos, asked questions of other riders and mulled over my decision.I decided that I would go ahead with my purchase if I received a fair trade in value. I did (again, no gimmicks) and I am now the proud owner of a 2015 Indian Scout! I negotiated a fair price with Paul to add a luggage rack & windshield. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Serviced my 2015 Roadmaster on 4/9/2021. The service included replacing the rear brake pads. On 4/11/2021 the rear brake caliper fell off the bike. Scared me when I had no rear brake with cars stopping in front of me. Their price was all most half compared to another dealer. Maybe the price is not so important when it comes to my bike being maintained in a safe manner.

I was super impressed with the folks at Big Tex Indian. From the beginning of my search until I landed on my bike they were super helpful. I am a new rider and they were sensitive to that and tried to inform me of all a new rider needs to know when buying a used bike. I bought a 2012 Harley Sportster and I couldnt be happier. I let the battery die on the drive home on the trailer. They sent Erik to my house, an hour and a half away, after work one day to help me get my bike batter changed out. Erik was great while he was there. He was very patient. Matt was the one I dealt with and throughout the entire process he was wonderful to work with. Paul helped me out when I got to the dealership because Matt was busy with another customer. Paul was wonderful in answering all my questions. It was a great experience for buying my first bike.

So recently moved to Texas. Brought in 2 bikes for Indian initiated service campaign. Since my Chief Classic was due for an oil change I asked them to do one in addition to campaigns for both bikes. My fault but I never asked for a price and these people were not forthcoming nor did they provide for a signed authorization to do the work...no R.O. Until you show up for the bill. $174.60 for an oil and filter change. These people dont ever want to see service business. Imagine taking your car In for an oil change at that price. They told me I should have bought it from them and purchased their $1,000 service package. Are you kidding me, I bought both bikes in another state, when I lived in that other state. Listen folks the filter is hanging off the front of the engine, drain the oil and put a new filter on...and never visit these people. Expensive lesson....they really dont want my business....well guess what that revenue, and any future bike purchases are gone. Enjoy the $174.60, yall earned it!

To start out, I was cut off at a light and had to ride my bike up a curb at 40mph. It blew out both my tires and destroyed my rims. I was close to Fort worth Indian but they didnt have a driver available so they recommended big tex.I called them and they told me they can have someone pick up the bike and get me to the shop.I received a call from their driver within 5 minutes and he told he could be there in 30 minutes, he was there in 27. So from the time I called them they had me picked up and headed to the shop in under 40 minutes. When I got there the technician really tried everything to get me back on the road even going as far as seeing if he could use one of the rims off one of his personal bikes. When we realized that it was unfixable that night, they held on to some personal items for me that were to big to carry and gave me a ride to a motel.Throughout the process the service counter was great at communicating what was happening through the process.Forgive me forgetting names but, everyone at big tex went above and beyond and made my bad situation much better to deal with.I would highly recommend to anyone if youre considering doing any type of business with this dealership.

We went to look at buying an Indian and really liked one of them, But the customer service is not great at all. Asked for a price on the bike and they took forever to give me a price. But the attitude of the salesman was really sorry and I decided to just leave and they could keep the bike. So we went to American Eagle Harley and bought a bike from them. So dont judge the people coming in to look at bikes maybe you would sell more?

I had a rear tire blow out about 10 miles South of Big Tex (on I-35). Had the bike towed there. When they found out we were headed to CA and then Sturgis and were from Texans in exile, they dropped what they were doing to make sure my bike was rideable. Even took a rear wheel assembly from another bike to get me back on the road (thats customer service). John and his service crew were kind, professional and very helpful.Everyone in the shop kept checking on is to make sure we were okay. I cant say enough good things about these guys.

These guys are AWESOME!! I live about 5 hours from Denton, TX, but Big Tex had a used motorcycle that I wanted. So, I called them, we threw around some numbers with no hassle and they came down on the price and offered me an EXCELLENT price on my trade-in. ALSO, I explained to them that my trade-in had been in a fender-bender and was in the shop getting repaired. Well, days before I was planning on taking my trade-in to Big Tex and pick up my new (to me) bike, the repair shop called and said my bike was still not fixed and it wouldnt be fixed by the weekend (when I was planning on taking the trade-in and getting the new bike). So then I called Big Tex and told them the deal and their response was, Hell, we dont care! Bring that thing in and WELL FIX IT!!How awesome is that?! So, naturally, I then asked, How is this going to affect my trade-in value? To which they replied, It doesnt! We gave you a trade-in value and thats what youre going to get!The rest of the process went very well. Everything worked out perfectly. I loaded up my trade-in, hauled it to Big Tex, and loaded up the new (to me) bike. I am a happy customer! The guys at Big Tex, Gary, Michael, and Hawk, are awesome!!I highly recommend.

Revised Review after recent visit to dealership.Recently visited the dealership for some weird error codes on my chieftain, had no choice but to visit BigTex Indian. Happy to discover management and crew has been replaced with efficient, polite and skilled people. They looked at the issue immediately, and diagnosed in no time. Taught some tricks, and very well handled. I will visit them again now that there are new people.OLD REVIEW:This dealer is a fraud. For my Chieftain, I had a warranty claim for a manufacturing defect, after a week, they told me that warranty claim was rejected by Polaris. When I asked for claim paperwork, they could not produce any. The people got very angry when I asked for paperwork. Carl at dealership told me that my claim was bogus, and called me a liar for asking them to file such claims (which they assured me that they filed). The dealership did not file any claim. This dealership has a practice of arbitrating claims on their own without talking to Polaris. When I pointed that out, and told them I have to report it to Polaris. The arrogant general manager Bill Cornett threatened to not service if I reported to Polaris.

I love Indian motorcycles. I think Indian needs a marketing guru, someone like me, to really put their name out there, to market and have over the top events. Instead of hot dogs in tin holders. Everyone was ok but not really motivated. The guy doing the demo day was monotoned and not into it and when we wanted to ride another bike that was on the lot we were never asked after the ride if we liked it or if we were interested in any other bikes. Harley Davidson is your biggest competitor and it would seem like more of an effort would be made to have their name up there with the big boys.

He said they fitted someone who was 7 once and that we can figure something out. Met with Austin, who is a nice guy, and then he needed the assistance of the parts guy (I think his name is Brandon). Their parts guy basically stared at me with a blank look and said no to every suggestion and offered no solutions. The frustration is not that I wanted something that didnt exist but the fact that the parts guy was short in his answers and didnt want to help us in the first place. He has no customer service skills. I left this dealership and went straight to a different Indian dealership that took an hour to get to but they were extremely helpful and we brainstormed and guess what, Im buying a 2018 Springfield this Friday. Ive been lusting after the new Indians since 2014. When the 2017 models with the new ride command came out i lost all my excuses for not having one. I do a lot of homework before I buy anything, and know exactly what I want before I even visit a dealership. When I got ready to buy in December 2016, I visited all the dealerships in the DFW area. It was a bit discouraging that I knew more about the bikes than the sales guys that were trying to sale them to me. My last stop was at Big Tex Indian, since they were the furtherest distance from me. Donovan, greeted me, showed me the bikes I was interested in, was knowledgeable about the bikes, and went on a test drive - just a really great experience. After I got back home and worked up the numbers I gave multiple dealerships a chance to earn my business since there were dealerships closer to me. After a couple of rounds with the dealerships, Donovan convinced me to come on in and he would make it worth my time/travel - and he did! Since I had several options to be added and could not pick it up that day, they even offered to trailer the bike to me over 100 miles away - Donovan brought it himself!Ive since had them perform the first 500 miles service which they handled expeditiously; even loaning me a bike to go grab some lunch while they were working on my. I had one issue with trying to get a small fairing fog light cover shipped to me that had blown off on one of my rides; they covered it under warranty! I think they have struggled getting the right parts mgr, but once Donovan got involved they shipped it right out!Highly recommend - go see Donovan!

Went inside to find someone and wasn’t greeted or even spoken to after being in there for 15 minutes and decided to leave. Went home and did an Internet Inquiry on the bike I was looking at because it was still on their website. After 4 days I still had t gotten a call or any response from big Tex. I have to say a very, very disappointing experience. I bought a 2015 low mileage (882 miles) Chief Vintage and had it shipped up to my home in NJ. There was a tremendous lack of responsiveness and in fact the sales guy, Hawkins, would ignore my calls, texts and emails on many occasions-the only reason why he eventually answered me was because his boss Mitch, who I copied on an email, most likely got on his case. It is now May 17th and I have been driving around with temporary Texas plates since April 7th - I have continuously asked Hawkins for the title so I could register the bike and get plates. I bought this Bike with cash back in March and would have thought the title would be in my possession by now--is that an unreasonable ask? Every few weeks when I send Hawkins a text asking about the title, I get from him that comes from Corporate. This is not the only time he has ignored me--there were several other instances. As an example, as part of this deal Big Tex was going to arrange to ship the bike to me in NJ. After a couple of weeks of them not getting it done I had to find the carrier to get it shipped. All I can say is if you are from out of town do not buy a bike from Big Tex--they will frustrate and aggravate the hell out of you but be willing to grab your money upfront and then ignore you. Perhaps if you live locally it is different because at least you can then go over there and get in their faces. Not cool and not good!!

Torque range in higher gears is great no down shifting to pass! The employees at Big Tex are great. In just a few weeks I already have 1500 miles on her. I cant wait to stretch her out a long road trip next month.I will say this about the Indian bikes dont test ride one if you are not looking to buy one.I highly reccomend Mitch and his crew at Big Tex Indian.

Just go somewhere else. Been up there twice now for a battery, for an Indian motorcycle. Each time I received the wrong battery. This is just the latest of my bad experiences with Big Tex. I can not recommend them.
