The past couple of years Ive had Earth Kind Services add new top soil to my lawn. Given the compaction of the soil in my lawn and the clay beneath it, my lawn seemed pretty bland and flat.This is a service that I didnt know I needed until I saw the results. The yard is rich green, thick and did extremely well coming out of dormancy. I was given a pretty cruddy yard by our a builder but over the past couple of years using this service, its one of the best in the neighborhood.The owner and employees are extremely professional and helpful. They had come and gone while I was at work and did a really good job of cleaning up.I highly recommend using them if you have any insecurities or doubts about your lawn. Let them help you as they helped me.

The quality of their top dressing for Zosia grass is perfect for our grass and it also helps give nutrients to the grass and our trees. Great crews with really good equipment that does an excellent job with even coverage

I had a significant amount of topsoil added to my side and back yards. The team did a very professional job, checking with me often to ensure that I was happy with where they were putting the topsoil and the quality of the topsoil (which was excellent).

Since changing to organic composting and fertilizing by Earth Kind Services our lawn looks so much better! It just made sense to me that spraying chemicals on top of our lawn wasnt going to get the same results as feeding the soil with organic materials. Earth Kind team is easy to work with and very professional. Highly recommend!

Beau and his Team did a great job adding Top soil and Compost to our back yard that really needed leveling in some spots but a good soil dressing on all. They were on time, did a great job applying then blew off any solid/compost that got on walk way or patio, and diid not leave until I walked over the job. There is no way I could have done this myself to get this much soil/compost applied. Eloy ( spelling ) The Tech was great.

I have used Earth Kind Services for several years now. They always put a generous topping on the lawn to help it stay healthy. In October of 2020, I tried a new service that had the topping and fescue grass seed since my backyard was looking beat up from two big dogs. Within a few weeks the grass was growing in and looked ok, but we had some spots that appeared not to get enough seed. Beau and his team came out and redid the whole lawn--they could have just hit those spots. With proper watering it all filled in nicely. All while the big dogs ran around on it. I was a bit concerned with a cool season fescue in that I would be mowing the grass in the winter but to my surprise it really did not grow once we hit end of Dec. and then started to grow in early March again. It stayed green all winter long--even during the big Texas freeze that got down to zero degrees, held up to the big dogs and still looked great. We do have a few one foot round spots where dogs like to pee that are brown, so not perfect but much better than the Bermuda and weeds that were back there. We will see how well it holds up during the summer if at all. Did well in shade under oak trees as well. The owner, Beau, is a very nice guy that is easy to work with, respectful and customer service oriented.

Applied top dressing with compost to entire yard. Showed up on time, applied the top dressing evenly throughout the entire yard. Will be some time before I can comment on the efficacy of the top dressing.

Earth Kind applied compost to my front and back yards. They were good communicators setting this up, very responsive and on-time, thoroughly cleaned up, and discussed the aftercare. I cant wait to see the result!

Compost worked so well for me last year that I just had it done again this year. After three weeks, Im already seeing great results with my St. Augustine grass. Not only are the bare spots filling in, but the existing grass just looks so green and healthy! I will definitely be an ongoing customer. I like being able to contact a person at Earth Kind to ask any questions. Beau is knowledgeable and always responsive. I also believe they do what is only needed in the best interest of the customer, so that is much appreciated.

My St Augustine lawn was getting overrun by Bermuda grass. The top layer of compost helped the lawn retain water better (no run off), and loosened up the clay base soil we have in Dallas. It was magic. My lawn had the best year Ive ever seen. Ive had them out to the house 3 times now (2 top soil and 1 mulch for the beds) and I will continue to do so. I highly recommend not only the soil for the lawn, but specifically Earth Kind themselves.The owner is classy, responsive, and organized. He even authorized applications of some cool new soil-based fertilizer product for free to address a bare patch that was developing - and it worked like a charm.The guys that have some to property gave watering instructions, lawn care tips, and just good information about my lawn. The are courteous, helpful, and calmly addressed any questions I developed.Its rare to find a lawn care company that focuses on just a specific service so they can do it perfectly. Our yard was SO bare. Sod companies were quoting $7000 to replace it. I contacted Beau after seeing before and after pictures on the website. He came out and added top soil and Bermuda seed. Our yard is covered in thick beautiful grass not even 6 weeks later. We tried to reseed ourselves last summer—it wasn’t even 1/4 as successful. Our yard looks like we did resod, and we saved so much money! The price is so fair, and the results are amazing! The service guys are professional and prompt. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

My lawn was just done and it looks great. The two guys did a good job and although I would have liked for them to spend a bit more time cleaning/blowing the driveway and patio, overall, I am extremely happy with the results and would highly recommend Earth Kind Services.

We had a great experience having our lawn top-dressed by Earth Kind. Beau was great to work with and always quick to respond to emails or calls. The day after our service it rained 3.5 inches in a couple of hours and we lost a lot of soil. I called to see what could be done and they came back out to fill in what was lost and only charged a nominal fee. I highly recommend them!

Our yard looked like a dustbowl, we reached out to Earth Kind to see what our options were and decided to get our yard seeded. Im 100% satisfied with the results we got our yard seeded on 3/23 and on 4/2 there is a very NOTICEABLE difference. I wish I could post pictures.

Im not sure why its so hard to get someone to topdress/compost a lawn. Ive been asking various lawn service people for 5 years and mostly they werent interested. My lawn wasnt big enough or its just too much hard work. I was given the info on Earth Kind by the company that does my regular lawn weed/fertilizer treatments. I arranged w/ Beau to topdress my lawn, which has been looking like sadness and regret b/c the sod was applied over the limestone and clay. Eloi (sp?) was here RIGHT ON TIME and did a great job and cleaned up fantastically. I had a double thickness applied and I felt it was very reasonable. I know I heard my lawn sigh with relief.

Have used several lawn service companies with standard programs, regardless of the type of grass in your lawn. Their service is satisfactory but typically isnt customized for the needs of your lawn. Beau laid a 50/50 compost/leveling mix in my Zoysia lawn and told me to give a month to show meaningful results. Within 2 weeks, the lawn was completely transformed. When Ive had follow up issues regarding disease or other lawn issues, Beau has offered to drop by to check it out and spot treat as needed. On top of it all, his organic bias is especially welcome if you have kids and pets in the yard, vs. the alternative of several applications of chemicals annually. Ive checked out much of the competition and I highly recommend Beau and Earth Kind.

We used Earth Kind for our backyard since there were a lot of bunnies that decided to run amok in the backyard before we bought the house. They came out and did top lawn dressing and soil mix. It seems like the grass is growing and we are hoping to bring them back out for leveling certain parts of our lawn.

Very knowledgable and our lawn could not look better! Our St Augustine lawn was looking brown, bare and the weeds were taking over. Beau applied a probiotic to the affected areas, where he saw that we had Take All Root Rot fungus and applied a wonderful layer of compost top dressing. The St Augustine came back completely thick and lush and choked out the weeds. The bare spots are almost completely filled in.We could not be more pleased with the results.
