I came to No Limits (first time) to get sight tapes figured out after purchasing from another shop. Had a few issues and came inside for a second opinion. Jason immediately brought me over to the tuning lane to pattern through paper, found the issue, fixed my peep height, gave me some one on one instruction and didnt charge me a penny.During this time, which was approaching an hour, he gave me his personal release to try out. I wound up purchasing that same release that day. This wasnt all because the release fit me or worked. It had more to do with the way I was treated (and continue to be treated) as a customer and fellow enthusiast.Ive returned time and time again to use their range, have strings made, buy stuff to tinker, etc. I feel at home here and welcomed.I never take the time to write reviews, but theyve taken time for me above and beyond what was required.Keep it up, guys.
Honestly.. The shop and the owner are very cool, great supply. Some of the staff can be pretty rude... kind of a bummer. I only go here if I have to. 3 stars for inventory and again, the owner is cool, but minus two stars for rude staff.
I have gone to the range and purchased from no limits for around a year now, but will not be going back.I placed an order for arrows last year and never received a call back like they promised. Not a huge deal since I hadn’t made a deposit, but still frustrating. The main reason I will not be returning is because of the staff. They are not very friendly and act like you are bothering them by being there and asking for their expertise.I found the staff at Rocky Mountain Specialty Gear to be much more welcoming and will be taking all of my business there in the future.
Visited the place today with 3 friends. The staff was rude to two of us in two different occasions during our 1 hour visit. We will not be coming back. Instead, we will be going again to Mile High Archery in Longmont that were very friendly and had a space 5 times bigger. With the groupon we got for MileHigh archery, we got 2 hours of archery, bow rental and instruction for $10. Cant beat that!
Outstanding Customer Service. My wife and I went in their shop not knowing anything about archery. We left knowing everybodys name and feeling so confident in our skills and our purchase. These guys dont just sell you stuff, they customize the experience and help you understand every component/aspect of the sport. Highly Recommended!
Great experience! Everyone was super nice and very helpful, cant wait to go back and shoot my new bow!
Outstanding shop, the gentlemen on staff got me set up on a new bow addressing every need.
Not impressed. I stopped in to get some gear before meeting up with some friends at an outdoor range. The employee helping me made me feel like I was wasting his time because I am fairly new to the sport. He even held a conversation with another employee and customer when he was checking me out at the register. I hope it was just an isolated incident and not the way they do business.
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Everything they carry is top-notch and a very good variety.
Rude staff. They act like youre a burden for trying to do business with them.
Everyone that works there was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful as I had a bunch of questions. The kids and I had a great time. We have a new activity that we all enjoy.
Extremely knowledgable staff, great selection of bows and competitive pricing. Earl was a tremendous help in selecting a new bow!
Came in with the family for the beginner archery class and to hopefully get everyone set up with the necessary equipment for a new hobby. It’s one thing for customers to be too bothered to wear masks during these unfortunate times, another thing for the business to not enforce the rules regardless of agreeing with them or not, but if the employees can’t be bothered that’s an unacceptable business practice. We decided we’ll take our business elsewhere. On a positive note, it looked like a well kept place and nice range. Of the roughly 30-40 people present we and two other customers seemed to be the only folks who didn’t think we were above the rules.
The wife and i decided to try archery for the first and was recommended to check out No Limit. We arrived with my wife needing adjustments to her used compond bow and me needing to purchase one.Beau was the employee that helped and man what a great experience!!First he was about to help adjust my wifes bow and and set her set up. Then when he was finished he helped me purchase my first bow, arrows and bag. After some awesome tip and assistance we were able to get on the range and shot our first arrow.Definitely well return for classes.
Super knowledgeable people. However the customer service is brutal. Last time I went here, the place was essentially empty. I wanted to check out new bows. You would think a $1200 investment would get more customer service. Almost had to beg to test the vxr. They were so reluctant it was not funny. Wanted to try other bows but did not bother. Then there were backhanded comments for no reason? Not going here again. Ridiculous
Im real novice, always felt respected and comfortable. Theyve been knowledgeable and customer service driven.
Bought my first compound bow in February & No Limits Archery is right in my neighborhood. Ive been here multiple times and even took a basic training class on using my bow. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. This is definitely an Archery Range I would recommend to anyone. They have an indoor & outdoor range and their prices are more than affordable.
No Limits used to be a great shop a couple of years back. My how things have changed... If you want to be ridiculed, scoffed at, and shown attitude for asking the staff to do simple things on your bow, like serving in a peep sight or repairing a single vein on an arrow, than this is the shop for you! Also if you want to be lied to by the staff this is the place for you! I paid $200 to have a bow restrung here. I was told when I handed them my money that I would have the bow back in working order within 1 - 1.5 weeks. After 1.5 weeks I called them for an update, and on 3 separate occasions I was told that my bow would be ready this day or that day and never received a call to come pick the finished bow up. Finally after calling 4 times I got Justice (an employee) to commit to even starting work on my bow. Justice finished the job & did it in a timely fashion. This review is not for him. This review is for all the other employees at this shop who dont have any respect for their customers. Do yourself a favor and go to Bear Creek Archery. There you will he treated with respect & like your business actually matters. Avoid No Limits Archery like you would COVID-19.
First time in the shop. Jason spent over 2 hours with me allowing me to try different bows. He then walked through the shop helping me pick out the needed accessories. Very knowledgeable and friendly, very glad I went to this shop for my purchase.
Good range... guys are helpful....
A great experience. Direction on my purchase of a new sight and a clear explanation of how to use it best.
They have a good selection... That’s about the only positive thing I can say. Went in with the intention of spending a good chunk of change and the know it all behind the counter who knew everything except what good customer service is quickly had me reevaluating that that decision. Went elsewhere.
Went in and got a Vxr and full set up about two months ago. Really wish I could remember the guys name that helped me, but nonetheless he was awesome. I got to try different bows, pick the one that was right for me, and he did a great job setting it up and answering a lot of noob/intermediate questions.Still shooting great (the equipment, not me).Highly recommend.
Had some spare time in town and stopped in to talk to these guys, extremely knowledgeable and easy goin. Took the time to talk even though I had no intentions of buying. I think I’ll be making the 12 hour drive next time I need a new bow, and definitely going to take their bow tubing class.
The guys at No Limits know their stuff. Wether you are a beginner looking to get fitted with your first bow or an archer of many years these guys will get you right. Jason will break down your flaws and help build you back up to maximize your potential. Beau will spend the time to make sure your equipment is set up correctly and help you understand some of the less obvious nuances of the sport. Knowledgeable staff and excellent facility. Thanks No Limits!
The facility is great but the service is embarrassing. There are much better businesses in/around metro Denver that you shouldnt have to spend your money at this business and get the rude attitude. I have had them do a lot of work on my rig...veins came off in the first use, they scratched my bow and lost my quiver and acted like they were still doing me a favor.
Went in with a newly purchased, used bow that needed some tuning. Beau spent over an hour trying to paper tune my bow perfectly to my previous carbon arrows, even tried cutting them and placing new inserts. Ended up having to purchase new arrows and that did the trick. A little over two hours of work and I was shooting perfect three shot groups. I appreciate the time Beau spent and expert advise given. Will be going back for all archery related needs.
This place is awesome. Jason is great. He is very knowledgeable and very helpful.
Fantastic location. Beau is great! Jason and Justice have helped multiple times the past 3 years I have been here in Denver. Facility is the best in Denver Metro.
Archery hunter for years! No Limit’s team is tops when it comes to archery! They get out to the woods, to the shows and to the Total Archery Challenge! Catch them early and get your bow ready...grab a bow and let’s go to No Limits where Archery is a family sport!!!!LCDR James Nowell USN Trauma Flight RNIraqi War Veteran2nd Amendment “ Right to Keep and Bow Arms!”
Took my bow into No Limits because it had not been shooting well for quite some time. Other archery shops had not been able to tune it properly. Beau was able to tune it & make my arrows fly perfectly! Awesome shop & range. You guys have earned my business. Two thumbs up for No Limits Archery.
If your looking to start up or are experienced this is a great place to go. The staff are amazing and very good at helping with anything. Best part is you could spend all day there with out spending a lot of money.
Beau helped me one afternoon when I was first looking at purchasing a quality archery kit. His advice was superb, You dont pick a bow, it picks you. He showed me several bows and suggested I look around to find exactly what speaks to you. I didnt end up buying my kit here, but Ive recommended them to several people who live in the area as a good place to look and buy. Good service and good advice pay off in good will. Thanks Beau!
Great place to shoot. Friendly staff.
UPDATE: UPDATE: After speaking with the owner, (Phil) he apologized and said he would speak to his staff about being a little less hard line on the return policy. Still tough to take some products back, but he was happy to talk to me and work towards a solution. Got store credit. I am happy to support a small business that just doesnt have the return ability that an amazon does. Hopefully the staff is a bit less standoffish in the future.Good range and knowledgeable staff, but Beware!! They will not take returns for any reason whatsoever. They sold you a faulty item? Too Bad. Item sucks in its functionality? Too bad. I wouldnt buy anything from them and certainly not a whole bow. Also, while their staff knows their stuff, they are super pretentious about it and talk down to you or ignore you if you arent an expert. Careful, I have seen this so many times.
I had a great experience at no limits. Service was great and the gentleman working spent a ton of time going through different stabilizers with me and discussing pros and cons of varying setups. He also gave me some pointers on my form when I was testing the stabilizers which was greatly appreciated. Even talked me out of spending money on a product I thought I needed but didn’t. I have to say that I trust any shop that talks me OUT of buying something because I know they’re honest and not just trying to make a sale. Maybe he didn’t have the most chipper demeanor and if you want a shop that’s all sunshine smiles and rainbow farts then maybe a big box store would be a more appropriate shopping experience. I personally appreciated that he was blunt and honest and didn’t beat around the bush. Anyways I’ll continue to shop here as they know their stuff and carry a great selection at a decent price.
Bought a brand new bow here in June. Customer service did not meet my expectations for having just purchased a whole new package with these guys. They made it seem like they were hooking me up to let me use the range for 3 times since I bought a bow. Bow was originally tuned to whoever built it in the shop instead of me. Needed some more tuning to the bow and decided to go to Bear Creek Archery which went through everything and made the proper adjustments. Several things from the rest to the arrows needed adjustment to fly straighter. Nice facility and range but probably wont ever go back.
Glad to see they are to busy to ship a $250.00 bow sight. Just lost my business and references!
I have not actually gone in the facility but I pass it twice a day on my way to church. I can attest to the fact of its a very well-maintained facility. Ample parking they never have a crowd
The environment was quiet and I felt very relaxed coming here for the first time. Got lots of help from other shooters and managed to leave feeling confident. I loved it and will be coming back real soon.
Justus was working the counter the day I went in for some basic questions, and given the shop was slow he took the time to give me a quick intro to shooting as well as dialed in my 20yd pin so I could start my new hobby. Though just 16yrs old Justus has a wealth of knowledge under his belt and clearly has a passion for archery and hunting.
Great shop. Very helpful and were willing to stay open longer for me to pick up equipment for a big trip I was leaving for the next day. They also had the best price on a bow I bought.
Outdoor 3d range was in need of serious maintenance and my group had to try and set several targets up with most not even put together. The customer service that day (Sunday August 2nd) was not at its best. Hope they can get it back to how it was.
Came in to buy a new bow and have an old one repaired. Bo jumped right in and took great care and did a perfect job. Living in Castle Rock, he went the extra mile to save me a trip back up. Thanks for the help and great service!
Wow! That is truly the only way I know to stat this review! Phil and his team absolutely know their business and more importantly, they know how to treat a customer.I am a rifle hunter but wanted to get into archery, while I had done it a few times my knowledge was limited. They took a ton of time with me to make sure I got the right bow and equipment...no hard sell...they just wanted me to feel comfortable. I would say no matter what your experience level is, at No Limits Archery its a great place to shoot on your own or take a class. The place is enormous...you will love it.Thanks again to Phil Mendoza and No Limits Archery, you have a customer for life!
Just moved into the area and decided to check this place out. The employee who helped me was EXTREAMLY knowledgeable and even more helpful. I ended up placing an order for a bow that should deliver to the shop in a week or two. Cant wait to pick it and and an sure everyone will be just as vice and helpful as my first visit.
Great shop and staff! They treat you right, doesnt matter if youve never held a bow in your life or are a seasoned veteran. I recommend it to everyone one I know and new people thinking about trying it for the first time.
I have never bought a bow and my knowledge is limited so I came into this shop looking for some help in buying my first bow. I walked in and told him my situation, stating that I dont know my draw length and that I wanted some help but that I was looking to walk out with a bow. The big guy behind the counter told me that I looked like a 30 inch draw length, told me where the bows were, which I could clearly already see, and that was it. He didnt talk to me about what else went into this process, what I should be looking for, how the store could help me, what they could do to make sure the bow was tuned to me, none of that. I asked if I could look at a couple of the beginner to intermediate bows to compare and he pointed at the wall and said Theyre over there. I tried to ask additional questions from the research I had previously done and he would not answer them at all, or give me a one word answer with no elaboration. I dont know if I did something wrong from an etiquette standpoint but I have never gone into a store and been met with so much apathy after making my buying intentions clear. The next store I visited today helped me through all components of the bow, what I should be looking for, what can be adjusted, what I would need in addition to the bow, their process for tuning the bow to my specifications, as well as making sure the bow was sighted correctly for my needs. That store stated that it would take a couple hours of working with me to make sure everything was right before buying that bow. This is my first negative review I have ever left for any kind of business, but I have never felt that level of alienation in a specialty shop. I will not come back.
Everytime I go to No Limits I experience very rude customer service. The only reason I continue to go in is because they are the only shop (that I know of) that has an 80 yard outdoor range and they do weekly 3D shoots. If your looking to buy, Id recommend somewhere else.
Nice place, big range. But why no yardage markers? Neither indoor nor outdoor non 3D targets have any range markers. Why? I get leaving the 3D targets at unkown range, but Id like to know how far something is before I start breaking my arrows when Im off on my range estimation.
Enjoyed the range and service
Friendly, knowledgeable staff and an amazing new facility! 5 to 40 yard indoor range, well stocked retail store and they are building an outdoor range that will open in the spring. Definitely a great facility!
Phil and team are the best! They have a great pro shop, lots of lanes, 3D, and a DART tunnel. If you love archery, this is the place.
Always great service and knowledgeable staff. No complaints. Great prices and great set up.
Just Finished my first 3D tournament with my dad and 9 year old son who got 2nd, He was free to enter and no limits still provided a nice little prize for his class. Top Notch and really made our day, proud parent moment and made life long customer. About the shop, had some work done on one of my Bows and it came out great and priced as quoted. The Facility is great as well, both indoor and outdoor, with virtual hunting. Pricing is fair and the staff is knowledgeable.
Nice large archery shop. Good selection of accessories, targets, sights, rests etc. Friendly fast and knowledgeable proshop with fullservice bow tuning. Large indoor 20 yard lanes and a few 40 yard indoor. Huge outdoor range with both traditional targets and a several lanes of 3d targets.
I went on a Sunday to buy a new bow. Four hours later I left with a sweet new Hoyt. They were busy but managed to juggle all customers. Im very patient but I could see how some folks might think they are ignored. Everone I talked to was great. Very much felt at home here. Even got a few shooting tips from Jason which I really appreciated. Also Jason was the first person to explain 2nd and 3rd axis on a sight that I could understand. Well worth a 4 hour trip to visit. Cant wait to go back and shoot the 3D movie screen!
Worst customer service I have EVER seen! Purchased a 40$ bugle, brought it home and found punctures in the tube from misplaced staples on packaging. Took it right back in and they REFUSED to replace a defective product they sold me. Claiming its a manufacturer defect and basically not there problem. The big slob sales rep was a complete prick with no interest in making it right. Told me, Well the holes shouldnt effect the tube. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!! I have never been overly impressed with the customer service with these guys but this was just over the top terrible customer service and a prime example of how to lose good business from a paying customer. Maybe they should take some pointers from there boys at Kifaru on how to treat your customers. I have spent thousands of dollars at Kifaru, not just because their products are superior but, they actually know how to treat there loyal customers. I have spent plenty of money with these clowns but, no more. Take your money to a shop looking to take care of their customers not screw you over
Very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Enjoy shooting there and had some work done to my bow couldnt be happier with the results!
Great selection of serious hunting boots unmatched anywhere else in the Denver area (Crispi and Hanwag). Jason was patient, attentive and very knowledgeable about the brands, models, fit, etc. I love the no BS attutude, just truth and fact, no sales pitch. Ill be going back when I need a new bow.
Best shop ever. The owner and most of the staff are serious hunters and know their stuff. This shop is Bad ASS!
I went here a few weeks ago because I want to get back into shooting a compound bow. I told the salesman that I havent shot for about fifteen years and that it seems that the technology had changed quite a bit so I needed help getting an idea on what I wanted. He asked me about how much I wanted to spend and I told him around 500 or 600 dollars. He got a condescending look on his face like that wasnt enough and asked me in a smug voice if that was for a complete set, or just the bow. I said just the bow. Id love to get a complete set for that price but I know me and Ill end up upgrading almost every component so Id rather just start with the bow and go from there. And I kind of want a nice bow this time around. He picked out three bows and placed them on the counter telling me this one is 500, this one is 550, and this one is 600. And that was it. Keep in mind I already told him that I havent shot in forever and alot has changed. He didnt explain why they were priced like that, the difference in brands, lengths, components, positives and negatives, nothing. Just a super unfriendly look on his face like I had interrupted him or hed rather be anywhere else but helping a potential customer. I looked at them for a minute trying to find out the differences myself then asked to have my drawlength measured, looked at some components and got out. When I first got there I was impressed with their range and the amount of bows and components they had. It was a comfortable environment and I was excited to be starting the process of getting back into shooting a bow. But after dealing with that salesman it was clear that they dont care about educating people who might be new to the sport and they definitely dont need my money.
A great archery shop with generous range space, and a staff gladly willing to share in their wealth of knowledge in all things archery and bow hunting.
I started archery as a complete beginner a couple of years ago when they were in their previous location. Just signed up for a beginners lesson at first, had no clue about anything. The staff are really nice people, and very kind to total newbies like me. Several of the regulars are just as eager to help, and now archery is a minor obsession. The new indoor facility is *great*, large, very well lit (actually, dont look up, the lights are freaking bright), clean, airy, and theyre planning on adding two outdoor areas. The range is a mix of target shooters and hunters, and everyone is welcome. Price is on par with other ranges in the Denver/Boulder area. Many on the staff bowhunt, compete in tournaments, etc. There are leagues for various groups and a hunting fitness class was offered in the past.Theyve also expanded their shop and have a decent selection of supplies. Compound bows, recurves, longbows, whatever--youll see them all in use here.
Actual children learning a usable skill. Warning.
THE best shop with reliable staff and awesome products. drive a little over 2 hours just for all my outdoors and archery need, well worth every trip.
Awesome place to do business with their staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help you regardless of your questions
They do a great job working with you so you know what you are doing on the range. Very knowledgeable and patient staff!
Everyone there is pretty helpful. Feels like a place you can call home for practice.
Super kind and helpful staff, they’ll help you even if you know nothing
Great shop, Jason and his crew are very knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile for you.If you need anything Bow related you have to stop in.
These guys are awesome helpful and just down right cool!
Been going to no limits for a couple years now from the time they were at their old location near bass pro shops. Customer service USED to be good with Beau and Mark but the new guy called Jason is the reason for the 1 star. Ive seen this guy march around the shop like hes the owner (phil is the owner) being rude to customers on many occasions. One day I even saw him just cut in front of a shooter who was shooting and push him to the side, then without a word to the shooter jason has a customer who was interested in buying a bow come shoot in the guys spot. Ironically this jason guy had the manners to say excuse me to the customer interested in the bow but wasnt curtious enough to say it to the guy he pushed aside.Another time i was using the chrono to test the speed of my new setup like i have many other times and have also seen other customers done so without asking. This time however jason sees me about to use the chrono and walks over with a dirty glare and tells me you need permission and says i cant use it and simply walks away. Theres no paper on or near the chrono telling the customer he needs permission first or any other warning.I dont know what this dudes attitude problem is or why his boss hasnt gone through the run down of what basic customer service looks and sounds like but needless to say, i cant support a shop that doesnt take customer service important. I bought 3 new bows this year and none of them have been from this shop because of this one rude worker. Id rather drive the extra 30mins to a shop that can treat a customer more importantly a person with respect.
If you. Know what you need ask for end they will help you with your bow
This is a decent place to go shoot archery . It did not stand out but it wasnt bad, has fair pricing to rent bow and shoot for two people it cost $25.00.
Jason was great, offered many pointers with install of new string and tune.
Staff is knowledgeable and flexible. They always ask if you need help and let you know theyre there for you.Indoor range is nice and you cant beat $5 for all day shooting. Backing is relatively new & made from The Block material. Far as I can tell, its a type of layered foam board. Arrow removal is easy. They also have an outdoor range which features 3D targets. 3D shooting is $7 as opposed to $5, which is still highly cost effective. The selection on accessories is limited, but they will order in anything you can find online or in their vendor catalog. Arrow selection is good, mostly carbon. They have bare shafts and prepackaged arrows. Unlike most shops, they sell boxed dozens instead of half-dozens. Primary arrow types are Gold Tip, followed by Carbon Express (two industry leaders) with the occasional Beeman, etc. They primarily focus on compound bows and carry all the lead brands: Hoyt, PSE, Matthews, etc. They sell targets, cases, arrow components, broadheads, quivers, calls, and scents.Their workshop is full service, including tuning, installs, and maintenance.Overall prices on material are mainline. Slightly higher than some online deals, but slightly under large retail shops like Bass Pro, Dicks, Big 5, etc. They are currently building a second floor. Unclear as to what will fill in that area upon completion. Possibly a meeting room, snack stand, trophy room, workshop, seating/spectating area or expanded retail.
Tay ar rily cind and the prodics tay sell ar good
Genuinely impressed with their facility and customer service.
