Had a great experience learning to brew beer at CO-Brew. Great group activity to get together for, and you learn a lot about the process. They even have a great tasting room with some of their own beer, which actually won a medal @ GABF. This is great since theres a little downtime between steps. Finally- once youre done, you get to design your own labels, and flex your creative muscles, and then you come back in 2 weeks or so to bottle your beer. Very neat experience, and the staff was super friendly. Oh and worth mentioning- they have tons of home brew equipment if you decide to start doing it yourself!

This is beer heaven. The google search tagged it as a bar so I went to grab a drink not knowing about the store. You can get anything home brewing related here to become the ultimate brew master. The bartender was awesome and helped us pick out drinks. I kind of wish I made my own beer just to buy some stuff. All the equipment they had looked high quality for the perfect batch

This place is awesome. Great ingredients and super friendly people there. They are always helpful and knowledgeable. Theyve helped me find ingredients, recipes, convert recipes, upgrade my keezer build, and have good conversation. Some of their equipment seems a little expensive but they are in a great location, have parking in the back off Broadway, and are high quality.

This is my husbands one-stop shop for all his beer brewing needs. The owners are incredibly helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. I always have a great time learning new things from them about my husbands hobby. I really enjoy visiting the shop. They recently helped me with gift ideas for my husband and shipped the items directly to my house - my husband was even with me and he had no idea! They were very discreet and gave me great ideas to surprise him. I honestly wish I could give them more than just 5 stars.

These guys are awesome. I work with Ian a lot and Noah, they are amazing. Always helping and providing advice. They clearly want people to be comfortable at all levels of experience. I would have given four stars - they don’t accept return merchandise according to one of the owners- which she made an exception which was nice, but expected in this day and age of customer service.BUT thats why they get 5. They do appreciate return business and are always eager to help. Plus they got an awesome brewery in back and will teach you to brew.

Amazing experience every time we come in here. My wife and I recently went in to buy some new equipment to start all grain brewing. The owners were so nice and helpful. They focused their time on us and helped us pick out a very legit all grain setup. You can tell they are genuinely passionate about teaching others and truly enjoyed answering our questions. We also took an off flavor tasting class here a month ago and were able to pin-point an off flavor we have been finding in recent extract brews that weve done. Love this place! Great beer too!

I really enjoy this store. There are always a handful of employees available to field any questions and the selection will approximate any recipe you want to brew. Prices are not warehouse deals, but for the location it cant be beat, and with the AHA member discount it is fairly affordable. The couple that own the store are always there and very friendly. I usually drag my girlfriend along and she enjoys their excellent taproom while I get my grains.

I have been coming to Co-Brew weekly since they open about a month and half ago.I love coming to Co-Brew and enjoying a couple of beers especially their stouts they are grate!Although this is more of a home brewing supplies store i find my self drinking more beer than buying supplies. They have a grate grain selection and they have a lot of cool things to help you brew at home. This guys are awesome and very knowledgeable to help you out on your next home brew recipe. If you are someone like my self that likes good beer, and want to learn how to brew your own beer, you can sing up for a class on how to brew your own beer. This guys will teach you how to brew and answer any brewing questions you have. I have actually witness a class they had going on a couple of weeks ago and it was fun watching the things they show you. Hope this guys stay open for a long time, because I enjoy going here and spending a couple hours and drinking their good beer.

Ive had a very positive experience each time Ive walked into CO Brew. Whether it has been a staff person just working there when I stopped in for my lunch break to check out a few things or getting to talk to the owners when Ive stopped in after work to pick up brewing supplies everyone I have met has been knowledgeable and above all else exceptionally helpful. CO Brew is definitely my first choice when it comes to checking out a new brew gadget, asking for advice about a beer style I havent tried before or just to pick up grain for a brew weekend. I would recommend it to anyone who is getting started homebrewing and if youre relatively seasoned Im sure it would be a great shop for you too.

I will first say I have been a homebrewer for about 5 years and gone to all the homebrew stores in the Denver metro area. I purchased a pack of champagne yeast here. Several days after my batch showed no signs of fermentation, I returned to the store. They offered me no refund, no replacement, nothing. They told me I could buy a new pack from the same batch and they cant give you a refund because we dont know what happens to the yeast when it leaves the store. Ive brewed dozens of batches and know how to properly pitch yeast. Every other store Ive been to has offered to help in this scenario instead of demanding I purchase another pack of yeast. I would suggest going to Broadway Brew Supply or The Brew Hut for your brewing needs where they value customer service.

My company has held two corporate brewing events at CO Brew for social and partnering events and both were huge successes and enjoyed by everyone involved. They have a fantastic setup equipment wise (four Blichmann systems), a bunch of beers on tap to enjoy during the process, and we were able to have food catered there. Its a great alternative to more traditional events. Those that have never brewed before can be guided through the process from start to finish by the CO Brew team, and seasoned homebrewers can learn new tricks and get to brew on the equipment they wish they had at home, while accommodate larger batches if desired. At the end, our company ends up with kegs to put on tap at our office, and bottles that we can share with our employees, partners and customers. And most importantly, Jamie and his team are not only knowledgeable, but a ton of fun to be around. Really a first-class operation here.

I like this place, I really do. Its close to my location, usually has good ingredient selection, nice staff. The reason I rate it 3 stars instead of 5 is I bought yeast recently that straight up did not show fermentation activity within 60 hours and its yeast Ive used several times before and always had fermentation activity within 24 hours; luckily I had Safale US-04 as back up on hand so my batch of beer and time were not ruined.I called up CO Brew, told the guy who answered my issue, and he just said Oh OK, thanks for telling us. and hung up. Didnt offer to replace it, give my money back or anything. Almost any other home brew store in town will gladly replace things like this and some. Things like this are crucial to maintaining customers.

Was in from out of town on their opening weekend and it was great. Drank some great beers while watching them brewing up a batch of beer, it smelt great. Jamie and Janna were extreamly knowledgeable without being snooty or making me feel stupid about my questions. I ended up buying some equipment for my own homebrew setup after they helped me sort out my sparging system. It was great I drank beer, watched them brew and purchased equipment all at the same time and at the same place. My only complaint is that they dont have a store in Houston!

The brewing experience here was AMAZING!!! And they brew some great beers of their own, so definitely check this place out to taste their beers even if youre not into a brew session. I received a brewing session as a gift for my birthday and the whole experience from calling to ask questions to bringing home my beer was beyond any expectations!I know nothing about brewing beer, but I was excited by the idea of brewing my own beer without having to purchase all the equipment and try to not screw it up in my own kitchen. This brewing experience was perfect because I got to learn a bunch, brew my beer, and leave them with the mess to clean up. When I booked the appointment you tell them what beer youd like to make; I requested an espresso stout- on brew day they provide the recipe and begin by introducing you to their grain room and hops fridge. Nick was super informative, easy going and really did a great job of adding the educational element without making me feel like I was in school. Its a 4 hour brew session, and there is some down time between different parts of the process, but good news: CO-Brew is a tap room too!!! And they have some delicious beers! We started our session with a taster and the standouts were definitely their Gose and Blonde. I requested a pint of Blonde, tapped them out and they had to change over to their Blueberry Blonde-- this beer is now easily one of my top 5 favorite beers, ever!! Such a craveable beer! I drank my fill while we were there AND took home a growler. And a few weeks later when I returned to bottle I was soooo disappointed it was no longer available. But, their coffee stout was a great substitute, and it helped reassure me that they knew what they were doing with my recipe!Every single person we encountered was wonderful! Special shout out to Janna for making sure the staff followed up when scheduling my bottling session to let me know their womens cut t-shirts were in! Bonus. I came home with a new brewery t-shirt AND 52 bombers (I understand 48 is more the norm) of delicious espresso stout! Well at least pre-carbonated and warm it was delicious, so I can only imagine it will get better!I will not only continue to visit this place to sample their latest tap offerings, but am already planning my next brew session for sure next Spring- I want to brew their Blueberry Blonde recipe and have it all to myself at home!!!! For the cost of the brew session, and the quantity of beer you get, I really can see myself coming here once or twice a year to stock up on my favorites and have them in ready supply for home consumption :) I highly recommend a brew session for a super unique gift, a date night, or a friends night out. Heck! It would be awesome to brew his and hers beers for a wedding reception too; I kind of want to get married again so we can do just that :)

Visited today for homebrew supplies. Lets just say that Denver was in dire need of a decent homebrew shop after Stomp Them Grapes fizzled out/disappeared, and CO Brew looks to be able to meet that need. Its clean, organized, and easily in the nicest space of any homebrew shops Ive been to—maybe because they offer a pretty snazzy brew-on-premises setup. While CO Brew didnt have every ingredient I wanted, Kellin was able to help me find suitable substitutes. Hopefully, with more exposure, theyll get a good following and they will be able to bring in some of the more rare ingredients that your average beginner doesnt make much use of (more lager yeasts, certain hops, one or two specialty grains). As it is, some of those ingredients may sit for a bit too long on the shelf to justify having them around until everyone else in Denver sees the light, and stops driving out to the suburbs for sub-par homebrew shops. Also, they apparently offer 10% off to AHA members, which should bring them in line with some of the cheaper suburban homebrew shops. As for the rest of what they do, Im impressed. The fact that they have their recipes on tap and you can try them out while shopping really sets them apart and makes for a cool atmosphere. The only thing that I would add is that they should start an open-source homebrew community where homebrewers can iterate on and develop the recipes that CO Brew offers to their customers.
