Top notch customer service. My family recently purchased an elk camp package from Davis. Everything arrived on time and in perfect condition. We proceeded to purchase a rain fly, awning, and two vinyl walls a few months later. Upon opening the package at delivery we had a few holes in the rain fly and one vinyl wall. They appeared to be from the packaging staples rather than a manufacturing defect.I contacted them after hours via email with an explanation and photos of the damage. My issue was addressed and fixed by noon the following day. Mistakes happen and good businesses remedy the problem. I wanted to buy a wall tent but I was told it take 12 weeks to get. They should have them in stock like other tent companies. So I went elsewhere to buy 3 wall tents.

I first contacted Davis Tent when looking at several other options for a hunting tent. I became frustrated with a company I was about to order from when I couldnt talk with a human. I severed my link and called Davis. To my surprise a human answered the phone. We were invited to come to Denver and look around. With the first person to the last we were treated respectfully and walked around going through the tents they had set up. I was not sure if I really eanted a wall tent until I was there. I ordered it on the spot. They helped me taylor it to my needs at the best way as to keep the cost down a bit. I left feeling pretty dang good about my decision. Weeks later I called when they were closed and left a message asking about a status update. To my surprise Mr. Davis called me back. Great man, and great attitude. I had actually received calls from 3 different staff members about getting things figured out. I ordered my Elk Package from Davis in March 2021 after extensive research. I talked with Chris who led me through the process of what my needs were, intended use, type and style of hunting and locations. He was very well versed in matching my needs. I got the tent right on time despite virus related logistical issues.Just now returning from 8 days in the field for the archery opener here in Montana and had to write a review. The tent performed exceptionally well in all aspects. I added additional windows, 3/4 floor, and organizer and a couple accessories. All were perfect and very handy. The stove was better than I expected in that it burned all night with a little trial and error on the flue / dampers. Setup and transport (big the stove bag) was very easy. It can easily handle 10 degree nights and without a doubt the Montana rifle season in October / November. The whole package was talked about at camp and all agreed it will provide years of service. They were as impressed as I was. Validation to say the least.I discovered I was missing a couple of pegs and one rope tensioner upon setup in the field, but neither caused an issues. I had spare pegs and a good old truckers hitch took care of the missing tensioner.Upon my return from the field I called Davis about the items and to mainly share my satisfaction of the product. I once again got Chris on the phone and he quickly took care of the items. Again, completely satisfied.I was down to three tent makers, all of which are good, but I believe I have found a high quality product at a great price, great customer service, and a knowledgeable staff that was able to guide me through me needs as opposed to simply selling me a tent. Been a loyal customer for over 20 years... Own 2 tents and was the first customer to purchase their cots when they came out many years ago.. I have had repair work done which was very inexpensive and done quickly as well as done in a way at to which you never knew it was a repair job. Would you like a racoon to enter your tent from under the wall?! I just left camping at Mendocino Grove where these tents have been installed. These Davis Tent and Awning tents were installed by the same, according to management. The rope rigging on the sides that secure the walls to the floor was inconsistent at best. Not only in the unit I stayed in, but all around the entire camp. During the night, a very large racoon came in between the floor and the tent wall with no difficulty. While I do not fault the tent hardware itself, the team that installed these were obviously outside their area of expertise. Rigging was wholly unable to keep large wildlife from entering the side walls of the tent. The current state of fixing the walls to the solid floor base is unacceptable. (If youre wondering, there was no food in or around the tent whatsoever). The poor installation will be fixed by staple gun...a true showing of a great product with great installation, of course.Long story short, these tents are very nice, but if you get them installed hire actual professionals.

I ordered the Gold Glamping Package. It shipped in about six weeks and arrived undamaged. The quality of this tent is just awesome. We will have it up for several months so we will definitely be testing its durability. We cannot wait to make memories in this tent. It looks amazing and is way nicer than I was imagining. I’m super happy with this purchase.

What a awesome company. I bought a Davis Tent 3 or 4 years ago. This year we put up 2 Davis Tents Labor Day Weekend. That Tuesday we were hit by winds of over 100 MPH. These tents weathered 2 days of wind with NO DAMAGE... Ive dealt with them on questions and one small issue. Nothing major at all. They made sure it was dealt with at that it was important to them. I highly recommend Davis Tent, great company and great staff.

We purchased a 12x14 tent several months ago from Davis tents. Davis tent got it to us as promised and honestly a lot faster than expected with Covid taking place. All I can say is the tent is awesome. Great quality and their staff was helpful anytime we called when trying to decide what tent to go with. We will be purchasing our next one from them shortly as we plan to expand our Glamping site with several more tents and yurts at Laurel Oaks Estate in Conway, SC. Great tent, great service at reasonable prices. We were looking for a tent about 12 years ago when I found Davis Tent and Awning. We were originally going to go with a 12 x 12 but saw Davis said the most common complaint they heard was many had wished theyd have went bigger. We did just that going to a 14 x 16. We couldnt be happier we did.In they years weve had the tent, its been a lifesaver in the worst of weather Northern Michigan and its weather swings had thrown at us. Its kept us warm and dry in blizzards with winds so high they closed the Mackinac Bridge. November thunderstorms in near freezing weather and everything else Mother Nature has thrown at us. When anyone interested in a wall tent asks either in person or on a hunting forum, I simply tell them Davis Tent is the best and show them pictures of our set up. Our experience with it and the results speak for themselves.

Davis Tents are the best ever. Our hunting group has 3- 14x16 tents and 2- 16x20 tents. Had a tree fall on my tent first trip out using it and took it back to Davis and within 3 days and $80 later good as new.

I just took out my new Davis tent. It performed far beyond my expectations and is the best tent Ive ever owned. We unexpectedly got two feet of snow, it didnt bend a pole and we stayed toasty warm. I bought a used Davis tent that is probably 15-20 years old and Ive used it for a couple years camping and elk hunting. The product is GREAT, but what is even better is the SERVICE. Ive needed a couple parts and when I stop in, they are more than helpful and always have what I need. While camping this summer an aircraft ran into my tent, I dropped it off at Davis and for a very reasonable price, they fixed the tear so its like new. While they were at it they even fixed some holes from the stove near the jack and I didnt even request that. Next year Ill be upgrading to a new tent and theres no question Ill be getting a Davis!

Have a 16 x 20 on a wood platform in northern Wi along a scenic river. We put it up around May and take down after rifle season. The guys at Davis are amazing and really care about their product and customer service. Highly recommend them and love staying in the tent/cabin every year.

Davis Tent has the best customer service that Ive ever experienced. A few years ago when I started shopping for a wall tent, I decided to give Davis Tent a call. I spoke with Roy Davis for almost an hour. He answered all my questions and shared a few hunting stories. I enjoyed talking with Roy so much that I made a special trip to their factory with my family during a summer camping trip to Colorado. They gave us free coffee mugs and treated us like family. I wouldnt consider buying a wall tent anywhere else.

Nothing but the best. Ive bought a tent/stove/cots/pads/etc from Davis Tent. The 12x14 tent survived a microburst and hail storm with no damage. Customer service was excellent. I was new to outfitter tents, and they took the time to teach me a lot of great info... I recently purchased a elk package and upgraded the floor,stove and purchased a awning also for a friends bison hunt in southern Utah. I’m very proud and excited to tell everyone about the successful hunt and the living quarters. It snowed 6”the first night and the tent performed way better than anticipated I would recommend this product to anyone,we stayed for a week and we were very comfortable hunters thanks for a wonderful product

Absolutely awesome products, people, and service. I purchased a 14 x 16 and about 5 years later a 16 x 21. I also had them customize my internal frame on the 16 x 21. Have had the first tent about 20 or more years. Held up to 4 feet of snow and snowed in for 5 days with my son one time at 10,300 feet. Also been in 20 below temps in the small tent. These tents are top notch and wear like iron. Just got back from near Fraser where we had unbelievable winds and approximately 20 or more trees blown down. One trees top hit the 16 x 21 snow fly but missed the actual tent. The 14 x 16 got torn from an errant hammer blow on a nail holding tent down. These tents stayed connected to the ground and stood up to the record setting winds. You cant go wrong with these tents. (On my way today to get the snow fly and smaller tent repaired at Davis Tent.

Just got my Big Boy cot and this thing is sturdy! I cant wait to thrown on my thick air/foam pad and sleeping bag and finally get some relief from sleeping on the ground all these years. I can see it being used as an extra bed when traveling too.

I bought the Davis Big Boy Cot, what a sold piece of gear! I expect it to last for years. Every component is heavy duty, a great value for the price.

NOT FOR LONG TERM USE! The mold resistant purchase is a sham! We bought this tent a year ago, and intended on living in it, but were gifted a tinyhouse instead. We used ths tent for extra storage as we just moved to an empty lot. Initially before winter hit the zipper doors broke and we had to just use the buckles. After winter came and passed, we went to move the tent to see HUGE mold holes all through our tent!! We had a tarp with awning over the top. I understand we are in a humid environment, but we did purchase mold resistance. Shocked, We spoke with the owner who kept referring to glamping tents and his other company that makes a mildew retardant, however we were required to purchase mildew & flame treatment prior to purchase due to state laws. We were told our tent is not repairable, and offered a discount on purchasing another, but i feel if i pay over 1000.00 for a tent and something like this happens it should be replaced especially after investing in mildew and flame resistant canvas. Survivalists & Bushcrafters should look elsewhere for long term canvas tents.

On my 7th year with my Davis tent, from Elk camps every fall to food tent at family reunions, Relay for life, set up for garage sale and just plan camping, best piece of gear I have ever owned! Its easy to write a review after initial purchase and/or a couple of try-outs, but quality is something you will only learn over time. I bought a 12 x 14 internal frame wall tent from Davis 15 years ago that I use as a hunt camp. This week was its most grueling test ever - sustained winds of 40 ~ 50 mph, with gusts hitting 80+ mph. Yes, the tent sounded like it was going to tear itself apart and I was concerned that the poles would give or the angles would twist. It was bowing, flapping, popping, shaking, lifting, and just generally straining. This went on for 3 days straight (Roan Plateau, CO Sept 19 ~ 21, 2017). But to my amazement, it survived with no apparent damage - not even to the rain fly! No lost grommets, no torn stitchings, and no bent poles. A lesser tent wouldve collapsed - Ive seen many of these tragedies over the years. Great tent guys!

Davis Tent & Awning (DTA) is awesome! As per our arrangement I met them at the sportsmans expo in SLC. I liked everything I saw and ordered a 16x20 tent with a lot of options. They rushed my order and sent the tent to me promptly.UPS hammered some of the boxes that contained cots. I called DTA, and they ended up sending me replacement bags that were damaged during shipping (UPS fault, not DTA). In addition, I decided to order another bag for the tent floor, fly, and angles. It was the deluxe bag, and should have been $50, but when I opened up the box there was a handwritten note in there telling me there was no charge! Customer service at its best.I would easily recommend them to anyone looking for anything they provide. It has been a great experience. I would definitely buy from them again. Their shipping prices via UPS are low too.
