The associates were very helpful and nice, and it feels very spacious despite being a small location.

What happened to this store? I remember it being fun to shop in. Its pretty lame now. Plus it was on 16th street mall. Smells like human waste down there. Get a handle on your homeless problems.

The Denver Pavillion is beautiful, it was a bit snowy but no less awesome. Hot Topic has what you can expect but the mall itself is astounding

What I used to call the edgy store before I started frequenting it. Good place to find piercings, graphic tees, and other alternative fashion items. Theres a lot of stuff in these stores and often they have a cluttered feeling to them, so if youre looking for something specific its good idea to ask for help finding it. But this location has very nice employees so dont feel shy!

Overpriced, trendy scene stuffs. Amazon would save your wallet from destruction.

Took my daughter to this store today at 4:15 PM. The doors were locked. An associate came to the doors to tell us they were “taking lunch” for 45 minutes and if we could come back? We drove there, found parking, just to be turned away. Very unprofessional.Have never been to a mall where a store just closes for lunch. Especially 2 hours before they close.

Pretty small Hot Topic. Its very hard to shop at Hot Topic because of sizes. It is very rare to see them having all the sizes to chose from. At this specific location that was an issue. Still a good store and nice staff. They also took the safety regarding Covid-19 very seriously, which is a positive.

Owner/main manager is a bias person.Big time hatter. There is no way a wheelchair can get in the store to shop. Federal offense. Nor is there a button on the entrance door to get in or out. Was told it wasnt her problem. Threatened to call the cops because I was trying to talk to her about it. What a lowlife.

It was a fun little shop i enjoyed my visit. Employees were kind. I recommend you shop here

Great store as most hot topics are. The 2 girls working you did good but if I may I want to offer this advice when you see any guests in the store one of you keep stalking and the other one assist guest and if it gets more than 5 or 6 people because of how small yall are both of you should stop cleaning or stalking the shelves and both focus on customers until you get lower in numbers. Otherwise great job and you both deserve a raise

This shop has loads of collectible items, from t-shirts and jackets to action figures and jewelry. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. This is a great place to get gifts for those hard to shop for people, those with eclectic tastes, and those with body piercings. Its hard to describe the variety of items available here, but its a fun place to shop.

Kind of tiny as far as Hot Topics go

Its Hot Topic, so its a little embarrassing to admit that I still love shopping there as an adult, but, its true, I still love shopping there as an adult. They always have the cutest stuff. I often lament that kids get the best clothes and this is one of the only places were you can get youthful clothes in grown up sizes. The staff always eye you up to decide if youre going to be a short shoplifters when you walk in the store, but that kind of reminds you of being a teenager again so cest la vie.

They have got anime stuff.

Love this store so very much. They have great clothes and cool gifts for everyone and every kind of person. When they have sales going on you can count on the people there to help you find a great outfit and everything else you need for it.

This Hot Topic is one of my favorite places to stop by whenever Im in downtown Denver. They always seem to have the best clearance items and the staff are friendly and patient.

I literally have been to many hot topics since it’s been one of my favorite stores since 2012. Today I was treated not only like an “outsider” but like a criminal. The whole point of hot topic is to be different. As I was about to check out I was spoken to rudely by an employee. I have NEVER been asked for my ID anywhere. And especially to buy a $4 small perfume 🙄 I couldn’t prove who I was because the card is a payroll card from my job. The cardholders name was jack in the box so of course that’s not my actually name. I was denied to purchase anything and I just left even though I was given the option to use an ATM. What’s funny is I went next door and yet again wasn’t asked for my ID and was treated with respect. I will never buy from this hot topic again because I don’t want to have to deal with being treated as if I was going to steal something since I’m a teenager. My dad thought this had something to do with race and was about to make a complaint but I told him to let it go. Sadly today I walked out of the store empty handed because this was the only store who still carried my favorite scent. I may just be overreacting but even my sister who was just browsing asked if I was okay because I was treated so horribly. And if you’re the exact employee reading this, I hope you feel awful about how you treated me this afternoon.

Worst customer service ever ! And beware for the very intolerant and rude manager with dark brown hair and heavy eye liner. I came in there to redeem my hot topic rewards birthday five dollar credit.. that says in the fine print ... that you do not have to buy anything and you can use the coupon towards any order even if it is only five dollars.I tried to buy three of the phone pop sockets and because it was not over 30 the manager who I discussed above told me I was not allowed to use my coupon even though I explained to her that the birthday coupon does not require a minimum purchase.She continued to huff and puff and argue with me and lose her patients within moments . I was very nice and polite and she knows me very well because I come in there all of the time and I spend about $200 biweekly when I have the money to. I have had to make a few returns because of damaged products and items not fitting, but that is why they have a return policy. And I always have my receipt.She has treated me like a second-class citizen and every time I go to return something and rolls her eyes and throws the merchandise on the floor. I have called corporate on her four times now and something needs to happen because this location has lost a customer for life .I will never be caught dead in that horrible store of negative energy again and I will spend my hard earned money elsewhere. I have worked in customer service all of my life and I have never even treated my most difficult client as horrible as she has treated me when I have been sweet to her .After calling corporate or fourth time they gave me a $10 credit and told me to try to use it online so I ended up getting everything I wanted in the end after making about four phone calls . Corporate told me that I was allowed to use my five dollar birthday gift card without making any purchases and awarded me another five dollar birthday credit due to the bad customer service I received at the Denver pavilions location. So I ended up getting what I wanted for free when I couldve again spend money on this company. Even though I ended up getting the product I wanted I am still extremely appalled of how I was treated as a human being . You just dont treat people like that especially this day and age we need to be more kind to each other. If she had just treated me correctly in the first place hot topic wouldve made money off of me and now they have just given me free coupon so thats not a good business decision on their end. Next time use great customer service and your profit will continueon.I will not stop calling corporate until his girl is reprimanded because she does not how to interact with a customer at all, and she seems to have too short of a temper for her to handle any of her duties as a retail manager . I do not feel safe shopping in the store and I will never return . God bless this girl and I hope that she finds happiness and I hope that she can bring that happiness to other people through her work I dont mean any harm I just want people to know the truth God bless

My daughter was there today June 23rd and was accosted by some blonde girl with a ponytail and proceeded to follow her and kept asking if she needed help. Her friend was there was wasnt being treated the same way. I think she was discriminated because of her brown skin and because of this treatment she didnt make a purchase. I would like to bring this to the managers attention. I will also contact your corporate office.

Fun place, all the goofy, teensy, trendy alternative fun. Horrifyingly inappropriate t-shirts, gag gifts, trinkets, key chains, punk accessories, etc. I love hot topic, and in a world of ungrateful disrespectful kids, this store has a couple very nice, very helpful young folks on staff. Very pleased with my experience as a customer.

Packed with all of the usual merch that you would expect at a Hot Topic. Staff is always welcoming and more than ready to help with anything you need. My only small complaint is that the store is slightly cramped, which makes it kind of hard to find certain items and I always feel like Im in somebodys way.

Staff was wonderful, great back log of pop vinyls if that is your kind of thing.

Absolutely love this location... great people that actually know what customer service is, along with a tidy, organized layout that includes a spectacular selection of product, all make the experience of shopping here better than any other Hot Topic location that Ive been to!

Its okay, probably better if you are emo, scene or punk. Sometimes they have interesting things. I normally only go there for a backpack or beanie. It breaks my heart that there are no good industrial or goth stores and while the staff are friendly this one unfortunately doesnt fill that void. Thus I refer to Hot Topic as Not Gothic

Its a hit or miss with this store. Sometimes I get really nice staff and sometimes the staff will seem annoyed whenever I ask for help.

They have awesome stuff to wear t shirts.

I love this store, but wish the prices were more reasonable. The deal they have where you buy one item and get the second item half off is where you pay full price for the higher, half price for the lower. When everything is 50$ or so, it isnt really worth it to get two items, even if one is half off. After the first item, youre already broke.

Not nearly as goth or Commercial Naughty as it was in the 90s. However, one of the employees was very helpful regarding some body jewelry.

I am a more then loyal customer to hot topic its where I spend most of my money and Ive been shopping there for years but my last few times at this location I have been followed around and watched by a newer employee and its not something I appreciate at all. They had excellent deals, like buy 2 get 1 free nd their clearance box was also full of fun cool shirts, greated as we walked in by like 3 or 4 people so that was cool nd they didnt tackle me when the alarm kept going off when i was looking at shirts close to the door. Got some pretty dope coupons for the next trip.

Worst hot topic of all time, you lost a big customer with me. I wont ever go in there again unless I am paid to shop.management is so stuck up and follow their own rules. Had to report them to their higher ups over 5xs now. I am so done with this trash place. And these people need to be more humble and not so emo anymore, that style went out loooong ago!
