I really like Zara, but not this one! I’ve been to Zara in Barcelona, Lisbon, London and never experienced this spectacle. If it’s this popular, how about opening one in downtown Denver? You will succeed. It doesn’t have to be a mega size store but maybe it will alleviate the crowd of the Cherry Creek Mall 😵💫
I’m usually a huge fan of Zara. However, this store never has as good of a selection as other locations I’ve been too. It’s frequently shopped out of many items. The line is unbelievable every day — like 40/50 people long with only two registers open.I’ve been to the stores in Nashville & LA. They are infinitely better.
I’m only here to make a return since dressing rooms are closed. I’ve never come to this location and not had to wait in line for at least 30 minutes. This time took about 45 to reach the front of the line and have been at the register for 10 min already. Literally as we speak and the woman checking me out is standing with another cashier talking as they pretend to fold clothes. Mind blowing.
This store has now twice had as another user put it a comically long line. I came on a Sunday and the line was 40 people deep and didnt move in the 10 minutes I waited to make a return. Returned on a Tuesday at 5:30 and 15 people were in line and in 15 minutes they had checked out 3 people. How am I ever supposed to make a return??
Came for the first time to an employee saying I need the actual gift card and not just the number so I was puzzled as to why I could just use the number at the online checkout then to pickup? Next visit, there was a decent line going quite slow and one of the employees tells us that theres an open register upstairs and we leave the line to go and the lady upstairs says theres only checkout downstairs in a nonchalant way. We just decided to drop the purchase and save us the time and effort. Quite a few workers just floating about but only 2 registers open in one area. Was not even greeted or asked for help on any visit neither. Seems like the workers dont really care and seeing the reviews this past year being similar nothing is being done. Experience was that bad that I had to write this.
Lines are insane! No matter when you shop, weekday or weekend, there is always at least 20 people waiting to check out! Staff is slow and have no wish speed up, zero interest in their duties, I havent had worse Zara check out experience. Hire more staff, pay them more and train how to be more efficient.
I’ve read so many bad reviews about the store that when I went this morning to make some returns (I’ll say many) I was afraid it would be a nightmare, but surprisingly everyone was very nice with me. The line was not bad at all (11:30 am), I waited less than 5 mins. So I’m definitely coming back to the store. Thanks for being so patient… it was a nice experience.
This place is a joke. The employees are nice, in my experience, but the brand is not the best. They have cute clothing; but you have to size up SO MUCH. I wear a size 4-6, so I grabbed the medium and it didn’t fit AT ALL.
This place is extremely horrible, the environment and everything is just terrible the customer service is even worse. The employees don’t speak they just walk around with attitudes and hangers. It’s crazy because I have never been greeted by an employee and it’s completely mind blowing considering they’re not mute nor deaf, I just think it’s rude and disrespectful but I guess that’s what the managers tolerate from their workers it’s the irony for me chile.
Great! Dressing rooms we’re open and fast line in mens side of store
Rushed out of the store when I literally had things in my hand. I needed to try one more thing on before I was going to make a purchase of about three items. Since they pushed me out of the men’s section, I wasn’t able to sew everything back. They said it was so they can clean and sanitize. I walked by about 30 minutes later after going somewhere else, everything still a mess in the men’s areas without person in sight.I really like Zara in Los Angeles, so I was excited that we got one here in Colorado. However, most of the staff was really rude which is in unfortunate.
The manager would not let me try on the outfits I picked out bc they had already cleaned the fitting room. They werent even closed! I even told them that I live in a state without a Zara and would not be able to make a return. Absolutely ridiculous. This is the only reason people shop in person and not online!
Very terrible and rude service. The girls at the counters were not friendly at all. I didnt feel welcome here at all and I went in at 11Am you would think its the first shift so they would be nicer, but nope. No welcoming vibe, it was all cold vibes all through. Also to add its a messy place not clean, clothing is put anywhere and everywhere. So I went to a different Zara location.
These people are terribleeeeeee!! Everyone needs to be fired or given some form of lessons on how to give proper customer service cause what they’re doing is not it!! They never acknowledge customers and are always walking around with hangers… and that should be the least of their problems if the lines are almost out the door.
Tonny M is amazing. Thanks for the help you offered me while there
The collection was really good and there were really nice dresses. I wish the fitting rooms were open (some other stores have opened their fitting rooms). The queue for checkout was huge, I waited 25 mins in the queue to pay for the dress
I’ve known Zara for years and was super excited for this store to finally open in CO, but unfortunately every time I visit is a mess, lines are endless (they don’t open all the cashiers) and the staff is very rude... Haven’t met ONE nice member of the staff. Hope one day they take into consideration all of these bad reviews and improve.
How is this store still operating so poorly and getting less then 2 stars review and Zara is not doing anything? This is the worst Zara location I’ve been in. I’ve been in more then 20 different ones. Improve it ASAP!
Staff talking to each about personal stuff at checkout so much so that I had to interrupt at one point— they continued talking to each other after that. I asked for a bag for my purchased items and the girl checking me out laughed and both girls behind the counter smirked at each other. Weird hostile vibe.
Zara has the worst customer service Ive experienced in a clothing store. This must be a general theme with the store, because I experienced it in Atlanta and received the exact same experience in Denver. With 6-8 people in line, they have one cashier. Although there are three other people behind the counter attending to the clothes, etc. They do not put customer service first. They were not very friendly either at the Denver store. Will not return.
There was a young skinny girl upstairs in the men’s section with brown, curly hair that was both rude and petty. I didn’t have a mask on so she to escorted me out of the store and told me, “ I hope security finds you!”There were many people in the mall and store that didn’t have them masks on. No wonder Zara already has 1.6 stars at the time of this review. It would probably have less than that if 1 star wasn’t the minimum 😂 What’s the point of lifting the mask mandate just to have to wear them in Zara. Also, nowhere in or in front of the store did they say they were required. This store sucks 😂
Even though Denver is reopened, people are vaccinated, and things are mostly back to normal, Zaras fitting rooms are closed. This means you have to try clothes on and return it you dont like them, no problem. I went to the store to do that. There was a greater than 30 min long line at the store (nearly out the door), with no registers open on the top floor. I walked up to the registers and asked if I could drop my clothes off and have them process it later because they were busy. They said that was impossible. I asked if I could do it online, no, only if I purchased on Zara.com. I asked if I could mail it in or return it any way except for waiting, nope no never. These are all industry standard ways of processing returns. Instead they said if I didnt wait in this line they would call sequrity. Effectively it was impossible to make the return. Its a very spanish way of doing business (very bad) but unbeknownst to them were actually in America where we expect companies to follow through on promises.
I was not able to refund or exchange an item because I didnt have the receipt. 2 weeks later the purchase and they dont have the item anymore. I wanted to exchange for another item, but the RUDE lady (person in charge at the moment - July 28th, 2021 at 8:00pm) I talked to, didnt accept this. I even showed the transaction of the bank, she didt care. Based on the Consumer Right Act, the store should accept the exchange within a month of purchase. This store doesnt follow this guideline. Sad to have to decide not to shop there again.
I’ve never been here when there wasn’t a line that was less than 30 mins to check out. All of the other Zara’s I’ve been to seem to have their stuff in order, but not this one. Staff are not helpful and the inventory isn’t nearly as good as the other locations I’ve been to. @ZaraCorporate, come get your store in line…
I know all Colorado loves pajamas to wear still on wonderful moments, so Im very hopeful this store help us to wear more nicely!!!
The line at check out is always at least a 30min wait, and once you finally get to the check out the cashiers have an attitude. The actual store is great -- clean, well stocked, with plenty of room to move around. There arent clothes all over the ground like you see in the Zaras in Europe, but the lines make this specific location a one-star experience. Avoid.
I LOVE Zara and have never had a problem with at any of their stores both in the US and internationally. The Cherry Creek Zara has got to be the worst shopping experience Ive ever had. Multiple times Ive been in and dealt with the rudest staff. They dont even look up or acknowledge you when youre checking out, are condescending when you ask questions, and once even messed up my return so I never got my money back. Every time I go in i think it will be better, and it never is. Thought it was just me until I saw similar reviews- seriously where is the management and why are they letting the store be run like this??
Great mens hip clothes.
I dont enjoy leaving a negative review. However, after reading others reviews and noticing similar issues, I definitely feel how this store is ran should be acknowledged. I have been to other Zara stores and I have never seen one ran like this one. The wait time in line was unbelievable, I waited around 45 minutes to an hour just to get to a register. My first thought was that the store was understaffed, but as I got closer to the registers you could see the employees priorities were not with the massive line, but with putting hangers away. There would be times where most of the employees at the registers would just disappear to the back to put away hangers and clothes returned, leaving just one employee checking people out.
Horrible service, the main manager was extremely rude to me, I tried returning a dress and the manager said I wouldn’t be able to fit in the size that I wanted to exchange to. Wouldn’t let me exchange the dress I resulted to calling customer service, Cherry Creek Zara has the worst service!
This Zara is a disaster. Always a mess, super long lines (30 min + to check out), employees are rude & unhelpful. Thankfully they finally expanded their hours from 1 day a week to 7. Hasn’t helped the lines though. Hopefully it will improve with time....
Zara is one of my favorite places to buy hip fashions. I went to a store for the first time in Los Angeles a year ago and was hooked. I then went to the store in Denver Cherry Creek. I bought several items there including one of my favorite hats which I wear daily during winter.
Horrible service, hours are not true to the schedule. Rude staff as well.
The line is long because stuff at check out is super slow! There was one lady with unfriendly attitude & crazy long nails and she took forever to process my exchange.
For a place with overpriced poorly made clothing they should at least have nice employees. the manager was so rude to me that she deserves to be fired I will be following up on this. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Waited in line for 20 minutes to exchange a pair of pants that was given to my daughter for Xmas. I explained that they were to small and couldnt fit her. The RUDE staff denied me the exchange because we didnt have the receipt. Ok, I get it but it its the holiday season and explained she received as a gift and is there any thing we could do. He refused and said we could just call corporate. I feel like it could have been pretty easy and simple 8 days after Xmas to allow people to do an EXCHANGE.
THE rudest customer service I have ever seen. My fiancé and I weren’t wearing masks because we are fully vaccinated and the mandate was lifted. We walked around for 20 min passing employees and other customers, no one said anything. Then when we were upstairs in the mens section a young girl approached my fiancé and told him she would be escorting him out. When she saw we were together she said she would escort us both out through the entrance upstairs that was closed. She then proceeded to say “have a nice day I hope security finds you.” In a snooty tone. GAG. We weren’t even buying anything because they have 2 registers open and the line was almost of out the store. Please don’t go here 😂
Truly confused about how Zara Corp hadn’t done something to improve this specific store. I’ve never had a positive experience at this store especially with the girls who work there. I see employees wandering around talking to each other while the cashiers are totally in the weeds with customers.
I have never met a more rude or condescending group of people working at a store. I like Zara but I am super turned off from ever shopping here again. They should consider reading some of their reviews....
One of the worst customer services I have seen!
Im shocked and disappointed by my shopping experience at Zara Cherry Creek today. I entered the store on the upper level and shopped in the childrens department. I was told there were no open registers on that level, which is odd. I headed down the elevator, as I had my baby in a stroller, to find a line at the only open register in the store, of approximately 40 - 50 people long. This line stretched from the back of the store to the mall entrance to the store. I was certainly not willing to stand in a line for that length of time, especially with COVID issues as they are. Im shocked that any retailer would find it appropriate to have customers standing in their store for such a long period of time, when they could simply open registers in a few locations and move people through faster. There were ample amounts of employees in each department that could have been working registers there. Really unsafe for both customers and employees.
Store always short on staff only one first floor open register with 3 people...Over 50 people waiting to pay. They closed second floor registers... Would not recommend coming to this store specially on weekends
Love the clothes. We went to Zara all the time while living in Europe, but the employees at this store are very unprofessional. On two separate occasions employees went out of their way to be rude. They could have portraid what they needed to say in a more professiinal, coustomer service friendly way. We live 2 hours away and came here excited and we are now totally turned off. One of the ladys had white hair and the other was dressed in muslim attire that treated us poorly in the kids section.
They claim to close at 6:00pm but I got there around 5:30pm and they had already closed the upstairs area and not allowing anyone to go upstairs to the Mens clothing leaving the Womans downstairs area the only place open. If you must close the entire store by 6:00pm then advertise the actual time anyone is allowed in which seems to be 5:30pm, at least for men, and dont keep an entire demographic of customers from getting what they need. Men have as much of a right to shop before the store closes as women do.
Poor customer service. Even the manager was so rude
Reviews are right! This place is an embarrassment. Expect a line of easily 100 people just to check out. Understaffed and mismanaged. I’ll take my dollars somewhere else
Very rude staff. We stopped by to pick up a last minute Christmas gift about 10 minutes before closing. As we attempted to enter, a staff member came running towards the entrance, yelling at they were closed as she waived her arms. I asked what their hours were to which she replied the closed at 6:00PM by corporate policy. I then stated that it was 5:50, and inquired further as to why they were closing early. She then proceeded to call me a lier, and said they were closing because she was “in charge”. It’s a very disappointing experience from a brand we enjoy. Unfortunately we won’t be returning. Pro tip: if you want to shop there, arrive well before their closing time. If you don’t you may be verbally accosted by their staff.
Drove a far distance to make an in-store return, it had been 6 weeks during Covid lockdown, so I was barely out of the return period, which seems odd since my most recent purchases have a 9 month return window. The manager was so rude and condescending. I was confused as to why I couldn’t at least exchange for in-store credit, given the items were new with tags, defective and still being sold for full price online. Their hours also are so confusing and we were told to leave after being treated rude since they were closing early. Don’t think I’ll drive the 40mins again to this location. I have been to SLC Zara, Cancun Zara, and NYC Zara, and this location seems very poorly managed.
The experience I had at this Zara store on 1/19/2021 was the absolute worst customer service I’ve had in my entire life. But seeing how all the reviews say the same thing— I guess this is just how they do business at this location sadly. I asked for the managers name twice to confirm her name and she said “Tara” or “Tessa” and rudely said “ I ALREADY TOLD YOU THAT!” What kind of manager speaks to a customer like that? Not only did she continually cut me off while I was speaking, her tone and demeanor the whole time was VERY condescending. So I purchased two items online and the next day both my items dropped in price; the price difference was about 60 dollars each item. Who wouldn’t want to save money? So I called corporate and they told me they unfortunately they do not do price adjustments— but I can take my items into the store and they can refund it and I can buy it back.On Friday, 1/15/21, I did just that. I had no problems doing so with the first item. The sales associate was very pleasant and she actually was happy that I saved so much money. She told me that I was her happiest customer.I didn’t return the second item because it was inside a huge box, the line was very long and I was on my lunch break. So thinking nothing of it, I told myself I would come back another day to return the second item.Fast forward to today, 1/19/21, I return to Zara and go straight to the checkout to proceed with my return. The sales associate says that she cannot return my item and sell it back to me as my item needs to quarantine for 24 hours. On top of that, she states that they cannot put the jacket on hold for me.At this point I’m flabbergasted. Days prior I returned my item and repurchased it with no problem, now all of a sudden it’s against company policy? However, corporate was the one who instructed me to do just that!So the sales associate calls the manager and from the word go, the lady was rude! I explained to her that I was in her store days ago and I returned an item and repurchased it with no problem. She said, well they weren’t supposed to do that and I’m not going to do that. Then I told her, well can I call corporate since they were the ones who instructed me to return it in store and buy it again? She rudely said, “Sure, but you need to move because you can’t hold up my line!” I kept telling how rude she was and she didn’t care, she just kept laughing. It’s pretty sad how pathetic this lady was. When I told that if I return the coat and come back in 24 hours — it might be gone, she simply said “Well that’s the risk you take.” No empathy, nothing, just a rude old lady.I didn’t want to return the jacket at this store because at this point, I wanted to walk out of that store and never return. I will never shop at Zara at Cherry Creek ever again. It’s unfortunate that there are no other Zara’s in the state of Colorado- but luckily I am just visiting from Los Angeles.AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS
I went to do exchange but the manager was so rude wont exchange though the associate at the register told me u can do it after 30 days as store credit or exchange plus bad customer service and mess everything whereThe Manger wont give me her name as well it was today Wednesday July 17, 2021 at 13:44 pm
Y’all leaving all these bad reviews acting like y’all ain’t about to show up the next day and wait 45 minutes again in line.... yeah I hate it but on the weekdays the store is not too bad
Great store but RUDE employees. If you like being treated like a 3rd world citizen by unhappy workers come here.
Employees here are rude! Rudest to be specific! Too lazy and arrogant. Dont know how to greet and no work ethic. Faces frowning and appears not wanting to to help nor to do there JOB! Too busy to put hangers away and no care about there extreme line. Its ok theres Karma!
Customer service was absolutely terrible I waited over 30 minutes for a return unfortunately during Covid were unable to try on clothes which is understandable but I was not pleased with my purchase & wanted to at least get store credit or money back to my card I did not have my receipt for my return but did have the card I purchased it with the manager was so disrespectful & rude to me she was arguing with me & sent me away
So I ordered my stuff and paid $10 for express home shipping so my package would get here on Wednesday because I have a flight on Thursday. I never received a fedex tracking number from Zara. I called them and finally got a tracking number and a lady said your package won’t arrive till Friday, even though I paid $10 for Wednesday shipping. So I asked the lady where the fedex and she gave me the address. Then I drove 20 miles to the fedex and picked it up myself. Then I called back zara asking for a refund since they didn’t deliver the package and they denied my refund. They said my package was denied when it came to my apartment when earlier it said it won’t deliver till Friday and I never get Fedex denial so not only did they lie to me but kept my $10 that I could have used for gas or food. Moral of the story don’t pay Zara’s express shipping because it’s a scam.
The line was 45 min long, I mean seriously??? And the only response from the manager was there is no line online..you either do the line or you can leave ..what a response from the MANAGER...the upstairs registers were all close and they don’t care people have to wait this long on time
While I’m happy that there is a Zara nearby, the people who work at the Zara in the Cherry Creek mall are so unbelievably rude. You ask a simple question and they look at you like you’re the biggest inconvenience in the world.
Went for a return as their pants ripped one week after buying them. I had the receipt and tags and the manager was extremely rude. Brushed me off said I needed to call customer service and they can tell me if it’s legit or not. I said it’s ripped right down the middle of the seam and she goes well looks like you did that. Then I asked the process of what returning these would be and she just said call them, asked again on what I need and the procedure and she basically told me it wasn’t her problem. Terrible customer service I was going to continue shopping but walked right out.
For check out you have stay 2 hours and people who check out is super slow 😡😡😡😡 they need to open more line. Also don’t have fitting room
Worst zara ever I ve seen, I used to work for inditexHuge line for man and woman section and one poor cashier, horrible
Service line was preposterously long. Horrible operation.
I love Zara brand, but this store has the worst costumer service I have ever experienced in my life. I would give less than 11star if I could.
Worst shopping experience ever!!! Very rude and unprofessional staff!!
Spent over 45 minutes waiting in line to do a return.
Need to open fitting rooms and hire more employees. Had several items I was going to buy but the line was ridiculously long and only one register open. Lost my business.
Sales people here seem to hate working here. They arent friendly at all. Lines are long and management doesnt jump in when there are registers available. Poorly run store.
If ur gonna enforce masks enforce it to everyone
Absolute nightmare customer service. 50 people in line to pay and only 2 cashiers. The manager immediately got verbally aggressive. Absolut worst managed Zara store I‘ve been to.
This is the worst Zara I have ever been to, I’m not kidding a 30 min wait to check out on a Wednesday at 3:30pm. Only three registers are open and there are 25+ people waiting to check out. Corporate needs to do something about this. This is embarrassing.
Worst customer service ever. Tried to exchange clothes that were too small and they couldn’t do it, despite being able to do it in other cities.( we just moved here). Register girl threw the clothes to the side and said well im not doing anything with these and called the next person in line. Poorly run store with long lines and nobody actually working.
Terrible customer service
If I could give a zero to this store I would give . Very unprofessional . Making the store look like trash .
Very long lines
I’m never gonna make it there before 6, to make an exchange. I’m coming from Broomfield and every single time, I get there, they’re closing. Why an hour before the rest of the mall!? It’s ridiculous!
How do you have a giant store and only 2 people working the registers? The lines in that place are beyond ridiculous..
Bad Management. You never know what their hours are. Poor customer service and rude behavior(especially the manager).
Always closed!!! Their posted hours are 12pm-6pm but they don’t stick to their hours. Very frustrating. Call before coming to check.
Loved
Worst manager ever, I’m emailing corporate.
This is the worst
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I like it!
Very bad customer service, they need some professionals.
I was very excited to receive a Zara product as a birthday gift, however this joy did not last long ... the size was large for me and I went to change it for another garment and I found terrible attention from the staff, which He showed total indifference to my case and did not give me any exchange option because he did not have the receipt.First and last time I go to that warehouse!
Customer service is very bad. Instead of solving the problem, the manager dedicated herself to fighting and contradicting herself and in the end she apologized saying that it was a Spanish company and therefore her behavior.
Nice clothes
