Amazing ice cream. Not a large selection of flavors, but you cant beat the portions. We both got singles of banana pudding and Mexican chocolate (yes two flavors in a single). These things were massive. Prices are pretty reasonable and the staff is great. There are also several tables to sit outside and enjoy the weather.
A must when you visit Denver! Not only is the ice cream DELICIOUS, but Little Man also contributes a scoop of rice/beans to a country in need for every scoop of ice cream they sell! The line may seem too long to wait for an ice cream, but TRUST ME, it is worth the wait! (And the line tends to move pretty quickly, too.) If you have time to hang around, enjoy sitting on the patio as you lick your cone - the ambiance is great! Especially around sunset when you can enjoy the twinkle lights and cool temps.
You could really tell how good this place is by its ratings and 4000+ reviews. Nice staff and delicious ice cream. Salted oreo seems to be a fan favorite and I really liked it too! Blueberry shortcake could’ve had more blueberry flavor but overall not too bad at all. Will be back to try the rest of their menu! ❤️🍦
Best ice cream around! Cutest building. Loved the details to everything. Ice cream is probably a little pricier than other places might be. Several unique flavors & unique atmosphere. I tried the honey almond & it was delicious!! Tons of tables to sit at. Definitely make this a stop on your list if you’re traveling through! It won’t disappoint.
Popular local handmade ice cream shop offering many flavors. I had the double chocolate cone. The portion was decent (just a single scoop would have sufficed) and the ice cream flavor was quite good. The texture was a bit more gooey and dense than I expected. Will definitely give it a second try the next time I am in Denver. Went there after dinner and there was a huge line outside, but they had set up a small kiosk serving a selection of their most popular flavors right outside the actual shop. The tall ice cream can shaped building made of steel is easily recognizable from a distance.
Delicious treats! We got the German chocolate cake ice cream and a root beer float. The only downside was I wish the ice cream was more frozen as it was already melting by the time I got it at the counter but it was also very hot outside that day. Lots of outdoor seating and shaded tables. Definitely a must try!
One of the best places I have ever visited for Ice Cream. I waited for 1hour in line, but it was worth it. I loved that they have a lot of classics as well as seasonal flavors, and guess what? They have a vegan option too.The ice creams are creamy and delicious the waffle cones are fresh and crispy. I had a scoop of Dulce de leche and Chocolate in a waffle cone. My husband had pumpkin cheesecake (I forgot to take a picture, It was super yummy)The staff is super sweet and friendly, and they answer all your questions, give you suggestions, and even if there is a long line, they dont rush you. You can sample the flavors and then decide which one you want. Its a must-visit place in Denver! Just be prepared to wait in line for 20+ minutes on weekends and holidays. If you want their regular popular flavors, they have an express line that is usually smaller than the other line.
The ice cream is very good. Kinda pricey, and the line is essentially guaranteed to be long, but its worth it to try at least once. Sometimes they open up a small shack for ice cream only (no sundaes, shakes, etc) with limited flavor options, so you may be able to get what you want without waiting 20 minutes. The saltiness in the salted Oreo really stands out, but it still tastes great. I also had some caramel pecan situation that was super good.
This felt like an outing all its own, rather than the last activity in a jam-packed day. Fantastic ice-cream (banana pudding and Mexican chocolate are my faves!) is topped off by excellent customer service and just a general fun vibe on the line, talking with locals and visitors alike. Its fairly close to Coors Field. There is seating, punctuated by a gorgeous mural. We had a blast relaxing their with local friends.
Line around the block. Torn on if it was worth it but the seasonal pumpkin ice sample was delicious. They offered more samples but I wasnt going to be that guy because the line was freaking long and I already waited. Just wanted my ice cream.Ordered the old faithful mint chip cone and wasnt disappointed. The building is definitely unique and i could see it as a cool place to bring kids.
Line was pretty long on first visit in early evening. The rest in my group got ice cream, sorbet and an ice cream sandwich that looked awesome!*We returned during week long visit for blackberry honey goat cheese ice cream which was a favorite. A small waffle cone with a single scoop was huge. I got a little dip of salted maple pecan on a sugar cone. Just a sweet treat without stuffing me.
It’s kind of dangerous that this place is so close to my house! Some of the best ice cream that I’ve had - and yes, I’ve had a lot of ice cream in my day. The fan favorite is definitely Salted Oreo, but I also enjoy some of their other flavors like Salted Maple Pecan (reminds me of my time in Vermont), Cookie Dough and S’mores. My husband enjoys that there is usually a good non-dairy option, but they could offer more variety in this area. Yes, the lines are usually quite long, but it’s a fun “event” and good area for people watching. If you’re not too picky, you can take the Express Lane, which has a more limited selection of their flavors. I also appreciate that they still require employees to wear masks, even though a lot of places don’t seem to be taking Covid precautions any longer.
This is a fun location if you are looking for a different ice cream experience. Tonight they had live jazz/swing music on the patio which makes the 20-30 minute wait in line seem like only minutes. The ice cream itself is good, but not out of this world good. If you want a fun and different experience with your ice cream, add this to your list. But if you are in it for the ice cream, there are probably better options. I would have rated this place 4 stars but there was an awful stench, like backed up sewer water, on the patio and it interfered with our experience. Too bad, cause the music was enjoyable.
Cute little ice cream place that looks like a milk jug! The ice cream was very creamy and delicious. We had the salted caramel peanut butter cup and the rocky road in waffle cones. YUM! Parking is on street but we didnt have any issues finding a spot. There was a small line that moved quickly. Highly recommend!
Delicious ice cream. Long line but worth the wait. There is an express line with limited flavors. The apple pie ice cream is so good!
Hellooo!!! We went there on a week night about 9 pm and there was a one block waiting line. I ordered strawberry and vanilla. Honestly I did not find these flavors amazing but I liked the simple concept of the store. My girl loved it so we came back next day. No line around 1 pm. I ordered the smallest eatable cone but this time I let the staff chose my flavors. Coconut and coffee or something close to that. Much better. Thanks a lot. See yall soon!!
One of the best place I have ever visited for Ice Cream. The history of this place dates back to 1950s. For the first time in the US, I saw a huge line of people waiting for their turn to order ice cream here. We had Salty Oreo ice cream and Peanut butter vegan Ice cream, both single cup size. The total bill generated was about $12 for both of the ice cream combined
Cant wait to come back!! Nice assortment of yummy flavors. Highly recommend the Caramel Apple!
SECRET TIP: Go to the stand to the left of the giant milk jug stand. It serves the same little man ice cream, but only a few of the popular flavors, but with a way shorter line. Unless you want something really specific, just go to the smaller stand for scoops. The vegan chocolate Oreo is great and unique. Order a small or a kids - it is SO dense and you won’t need that much!
The staff is always great, the outside seating is perfect for date nights. A perfect spot to sit and relax while the sun sets. There is always a relatively long line but it moves quickly. There is smaller line but has limited flavor which is great for a quick grab and go. They decorate the outside really nice during the holidays.
Grate place! Very busy but worth the wait in line. Fall/Halloween decorations are cool but not scary. Cute place to take the whole family. My son enjoyed it as well.
Ice cream was a fair price for the amount given. Highly decorated outdoor seating area with ample room. Ice cream was pretty good, very rich and smooth. Parking is difficult in the area. Had a huge line but moves steadily enough. Really need to modernize and start posting available flavors online.
Great location. Cool place. Very good ice cream.
Very good tasting ice cream. Good location and the shop is very cute. They will donate one scoop for each scoop you bought for good purposes. Highly recommend.
Delicious ice cream at such a fun spot! Got the pumpkin chip and salted Oreo. Both flavors were very good, but the salted Oreo was very salty!! The building and experience is so fun!
I went to Little Man Ice Cream while visiting Denver and I loved it!! I ordered Salted Oreo & Banana Pudding flavored ice creams. The staff was incredible, both helpful and engaging. I went towards the end of September and they had everything decorated for fall which made the experience more fun. I’ll be coming back for sure!
Last time we were in Denver this place closed before we had a chance to try what looked like an amazing selection. Well we were not disappointed when we finally experienced Little Man! I had to try both of the vegan options and my husband (who got the regular ice cream) agreed that the vegan flavors were just as good as his. I also had to sample his French toast and banana bread which were delicious. A fun atmosphere with super unique flavor options...a must visit while in Denver!
Delicious ice cream and fun atmosphere. We went at an off time, 5:30pm, to avoid any long lines. We were able to walk right up. There was a small selection of ice cream flavors that included the classics chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Was nice to have the option of sizes in either a cup, sugar cone or waffle cone. More flavor selections in the form of an ice cream sandwich. Free 2 hour street parking around and plenty of places to sit and enjoy.
I imagine this review will just add to the pile of tourist reviews, but this place was awesome. We stood in line for about 20 minutes on a Saturday night, but it was worth the wait. Everyone who worked there was friendly. It was difficult to choose which flavor to try, so I guess we’ll be back another trip to go after the ones we didn’t get to eat.
The staff was incredible! I told them it was my first time in the city and to Little Man Ice Cream, and they took their time to tell me what the most popular selections were, what they liked, and asked about my normal preferences. I ended up getting the strawberry ice cream (made with real strawberries) and small tastes of the two most popular flavors, both of which had salt and I was scared about trying. But all were so delicious!
Servers are very kind and they are very dog friendly! I ordered a kid sized with extra toppings and they gave me one size up so it would all fit. Of course the ice cream is top notch as well.
Fantastic!I got the salted oreo, and my partner got the orange creamsicle. Overall I liked them both a lot, but the orange creamsicle was probably the better one if youre eyeing up those two flavors.
I love Little Man’s ice cream so much. The flavors are so fun, and I can’t wait to try more of them. Space Junkie is incredible. I wish there were more ice creams like it. Recently tried the mexican chocolate, really good. Nothing is quite as good. It’s more expensive than the grocery store ice cream, but always good for celebration.
The Denver Icon of Ice Cream and History. Amazing everything from the quality of food to the architecture to the flavors that they create as well as the very fast pace for such a never ending long line hehe! PLEASE if you are a tourist, new to CO, or just havent been PLEASE check this place out!! This is a one of a kind place!
Outside environment was fun and I appreciated the free water set out, but the Salted Oreo didn’t live up to the hype for us. Tasted like you jumped in an ocean with a mouthful of Oreos. Just very very salty. Don’t know if I’d consider it a dessert quite
Love the atmosphere. Decorated for fall! Always great staff. Ice-cream is yummy too!
Super-friendly staff, excellent ice cream, fun atmosphere.
Loved the ice cream and the location. Outdoor seating is nice for a quick snack like this. Lots of neat flavors to choose from.
One of the best and cutest Ice cream places I’ve ever been to. I love the vintage feel with the music and decor. The staff was very friendly and patient with me while I took a while to decide what I wanted haha. I highly recommend space junkie( black raspberry ice cream with brownies and a marshmallow swirl). It was truly out of this world!
Overhyped? Nah, just hyped enough. We visit Little Man Ice Cream anytime we are in Denver, but this is the first time our kids came with us. They loved the kids sized picnic bench and the slide- great for passing the time during a long line. By the way, the line was quite long, but moved pretty quickly. The kiddos got a strawberry shake, root beer float, and red velvet ice cream sandwich. The float and the sandwich were good- the cookie was soft and the cream cheese ice cream was very unique. The strawberry shake didn’t have a strong strawberry flavor- it needed some strawberry purée or something.I got the banana split, and of the flavors I chose, the Mexican hot chocolate was the best! Strong cinnamon flavor which was super yummy paired with the almond slivers. I will definitely order this flavor again next visit!I appreciated the covid precautions in place and the hand sanitizer that was readily available at all registers. Was this review helpful or informative? Hit the thumbs up button if so! :)
Super cute little ice cream shop! The ice cream was honestly just average, but its the rest of the experience that makes it stand out. The staff is all friendly and its a cool place right in downtown Denver. You just feel good being there. Definitely worth visiting!
We came here one afternoon on our trip after it came highly recommended by many people who have visited. We lucked out because it wasnt very busy and they offered our puppy a pup cone. It was perfect size with a little tiny cone for him to munch on after. I ordered the strawberry ice cream which tasted super fresh. Its a cute little place and definitely seems like a Denver staple.
You should start posting offered flavors. They are not listed on the website. I called 3 different times and was hung up on the first time. The other two times only heard every other word because you need a new phone system!!! Get with the program people it’s 2021!!! So frustrating!!!
Little Man serves up big flavors of delicious home-made ice cream Nothing more to add to the other 5* reviews. Friendly, helpful team and ice cream to savor. Love this place!
Fantastic flavors! So yummy. Got a malt for the first time in 10 yrs and it was very good
Are we ice cream aficionados? Probably not. But do we love it as much as any food and drive great distances just to enjoy unusually good varieties of it? Absolutely. As a result, we were especially pleased with our experience during our first time visit to Little Man last night. Honestly, though- at first we were surprised and disappointed to discover a line of 30+ customers on the sidewalk in front of this small establishment. However, we took it as a good sign that the quality must be worth the wait if that many people wanted it.They were right. Our patience was rewarded with some of the tastiest ice cream around, served in unusually generous portions. There is not a huge selection of flavors, but everything we sampled was excellent. Even though the line was long, the wait was relatively short since there are three service windows and the staff is friendly, efficient, and extremely helpful.Eat here soon, you’ll love it.
Ice cream was very good and nice atmosphere. Line long but used the express counter at bottom of the hill (have 8 flavors and just cone/dish options) and in and out. Would definitely go there again if in town and have the chance!
One of my favorite ice cream spots in Denver. Tons of options and the employees are always happy to serve you!
Yeah you cant mess with this place. Theres a reason for the long line. Kids playground on site behind main serving/ordering area 😁
Always a favorite! Located in a courtyard just below Linger, shaped as a milk can, you cant miss it. Theres often a line around the block because its amazing! Lots of great flavors, even vegan options. A must visit when in Denver.
A good place for some very tasty ice cream. Ive been here several times, and the ice cream is always delicious! Because many of the flavors rotate, it can be fun to try different ones--you may find a new favorite! Seating is limited for the amount of people who often are here, and the line can get long at times, but the ice cream is worth it--enjoy!
Fun place to go for unusual and delicious flavors of ice cream, but be prepared to wait in a line to get your taste. It moves quickly, though and its worth the wait. I had A scoop of Raspberry Love today; refreshing on a hot day!
The flavors are so unique but have never let me down. The music sets a wonderful ambience - tones of Sinatra and Edith Piaf make moments feel nostalgic and lovely. Certainly an experience worth trying if you’re in the area!
We loved this place. Actually had to go twice. We went to the walk up shop on the side. The main entrance usually has a long line. The walk up shop only has minimal flavors but still good. Great service and great ice cream.
The ice cream tastes of great quality and flavor. The portions are large and the lines long. As far as scooped ice cream, this place is unbeatable. Please dont change. Its rare to find a place of this quality and value.
Interesting flavors, we really liked the combination of sweet n salty flavor like salted maple pecan and the salted oreo
So the ice cream was absolutely delicious, and service was great! Smores flavor was out which was a bummer, but I got chocolate and chocolate chip cookie dough and really enjoyed it. Only real complaint is the lid on the ice cream was really sharp, I cut my finger open trying to get to my ice cream! So enjoy with caution, but its tasty!
