Not only did they address the issue, they were great to talk to. The 3rd Gen Ram 1500s front drive shaft has a CV joint instead of a Ujoint. They converted it to a Ujoint for better reliability. Pricing was $100 cheaper than auto zone, Advanced, or ORileys. Installed shaft in 20 mins. Works great. Good job Gents. Will be coming back for any Driveshaft needs!

Purchased a remanufactured drive shaft for my 2005 Porsche Cayenne Turbo from David at Colorado Drive Shaft. At first I was a little surprised that you can’t order from the website (you must call direct to the shop to place orders) but afterwards I was very glad this is how orders are placed. I got to speak with a very knowledgeable and friendly person (David) who gave me some extremely useful tips for installing the drive shaft myself. It went on without any problems, and the remanufactured parts are all German and of high quality so everything fit right and the alignment was perfect. I read on the forums plenty of stories of cheaper, new drive shafts (mostly made in china) that didn’t fit and/or had vibration issues after the install. No vibrations or mystery squeaks after my install! Plus it’s a quarter of the price of a new Porsche part with the same weaknesses. Highly recommend.***Update 18 months later*** Drive shaft is still holding up well with no vibration whatsoever.

These guys are awesome! My u joint exploded at 75mph and took out the 4 bolt flange to the t-case. I need one asap so I wasnt driving in 4wd (front tires only) and they had it, they even added the last u joint for me and greased it. Dealer wanted almost 5 times the amount and sure wouldnt of helped me get back on the road so soon. Thanks so much!!!

Nice guys. Showed me the fitment compared to my old drive shaft. Rebuild quality is really good, looks basically new. Would recommend for anyone who owns a Volvo. They had my exact make and model driveshaft in stock and ready to go.

2 days to get pricing, 1 week to build 1 shaft, declined to build the second basic shaft (other shop in town did it in 1 hour). Didnt even paint the shaft they did make. only saving grace was the shaft they did make is correct.

Just had justin and the guys help me out. gave me a great price and unfortunately for them fix two weeks neglect on a failed carrier bearing. found a little rotational play in the spines behind the carrier so they cut out the old replaced it with a way tighter core they had slapped my new carrier bearing on and rebalanced everything. i threw the shaft on after work and no vibration fixed the old carrier squeal and so far so good. will update after a few weeks but they were good guys. thank you gentlemen

After trying to replace the u-joints in my 95 Chevy S10 and failing, I needed to replace the original aluminum drive shaft. These guys made me a NEW steel drive shaft in about 3 hours. I took it home with new u-joints already pressed in and was able to install the drive shaft in 10 minutes with no complications and it was perfectly balanced and fit perfectly in place. The craftsmanship is of the best quality and I doubt that I will ever need to replace this new steel drive shaft. the price was lower than I expected and the service was what I would expect from a shop in the 50s (supurb). Wont be going anywhere else for my drive shaft and u-joints needs. Im a loyal customer for life now.

Love this place! They wont work on your vehicle, but the provided me the tools I needed, to pull my driveline. I pulled it in their parking lot, brought it inside to them, and they had my old u-joints out, and new ones in in less than 10 minutes. Small shop, with the old school atmosphere. Very knowledgeable guys! Definitely save my day today! Very reasonably priced as well. 5 stars, I will bring all my driveline work to them from now on. I highly recommend them!

Sent in my Frankenstein driveshaft with a 1986 535is front and a 1989 325i rear to be mated, shortened, and balanced. Very fair pricing, and Dave was helpful and knowledgeable. He was willing to work with me. I highly recommend this shop if you want your custom driveshaft done right.

This was my first experience with this this shop, and it was great to say the least. We ran into a snag on a customers vehicle just by sheer happenstance and would have had to replace the driveshaft if we couldnt fix it. This place is amazing! They are very honest and knowledgeable. They dont try to repair/replace things that dont need it like other shops Ive dealt with. I brought my driveshaft in last week expecting to pay for a balance. Instead, Dave immediately noticed I had the wrong U-joint on it and just charged me for a new one. He gave me very helpful instructions for how to put the driveshaft back in and Im back on the road with no problems whatsoever! Ill never go to anyone else but them!

I completely forgot to write a review for these guys. They helped me out about a year ago on my Audi S4. The carrier bearing failed on the center driveshaft, and I didnt have a ton of money to get the thing replaced. I brought it in, and they were able to get me in and out the door for half the price and in half the time of any other shop Id talked to. Ill never do business anywhere else when I need help with a driveshaft.

This place is great. The customer service was above and beyond. I have a Jeep XJ with a small lift that broke a u-joint. It ended up taking out both the front yoke and the front yoke on the shaft. Upon finding out it was my daily driver they went out of their way to make sure that I was without a vehicle for the shortest possible time. My Jeep is running smoother than ever! The quality of work, turnaround time, and customer service were all excellent. I will certainly use them for all of my driveshaft needs.

Horrible customer service, I called to ask what services they offer and a very irritated man answered the phone and hung up when I asked about a service they do not offer. I was looking to have other work done here but they lost my business when they didnt even give me a chance to ask and I can certainly say I wouldnt want someone with that attitude touching my car.

I had a motorhome driveshaft that needed to be shortened. The help I got in making the right decisions on where to shorten it and how to measure the changes was invaluable. A fair price, (I told them their prices were too low), timely service, (my driveshaft was ready 2 days after I gave the final measurement) and the end result was spot on. Its all we expect and so rarely get from people we hire. You can see the pride they take in their work. The shop has an old time feel, modern - cutting edge tools, and specialized balancing equipment. Really a positive experience. Use these guys!

The service that I got from Colorado Drive Shaft was amazing. I had a driveshaft rebuilt for a 1987 BMW 5 series. The universal joints were seized, and the driveshaft was making tons of noise. I brought it in to Dave, and he was awesome! He explained the rebuild process to me, and I got the driveshaft back the next day! Called these guys for some tips on removing a rear driveline on a vw touareg. The guy was very rude, told me I needed special tools to do what I had already done, then told me good luck and hung up on me. When I called back he then told me I needed to bring it to his shop. Personally not how I would run my business if I had one. Do not use these guys for any mechanical knowledge.

I bought a replacement driveshaft for my Touareg a couple years ago to fix the notorious bearing failure. CDS offered the best option for replacing it with great pricing and fast shipping. 60k miles later I am having absolutely zero issues with it, even with quite a bit of off-roading and towing. I would recommend CDS for your next driveshaft service.

A great experience! My options were $1.1k for a new drive shaft or a used drive shaft for approximately the same cost as a refurbished unit from CDS. A simple $100 core charge and paid shipping both ways is tremendous. Between an email and a quick phone call the guys were knowledgable and helpful which gave me the confidence to purchase a refurb unit. Unit arrived as planned. The guy who takes care of my 2002 Passat 4-Motion said the install was flawless and he was impressed with the remanufactured unit quality, (VW, Audio, Porsche private shop). I drove the car the next day after the install, 300 miles from home, 5 days later the same distance back home; the vibration was eliminated and the feel was tight again. I like my car, I had purchased it brand new and I do all routine maintenance; it has 250K miles on it and I hoping for another 50-100k if possible. I would recommend CDS to anyone who wants to keep their car running well. If you have any hesitation, give them a call and speak with them. They are the type of folks I like doing business with and would trust again without question.
