At 6 pm discovered garage door spring snapped and no way to open the door. I called the number on the 20 yr old sticker adhered to the garage door opener. By 9:30 all repaired and as good as new. Attentive and courteous service. I know I paid extra for an after hours call but it was worth it!

They did both of my neighbors houses garage doors. I called and made an appointment for them to come out and give me an estimate. They gave me a time window for the appointment it was a week out out from the time of the call. And they were a no show no call. Tried to call them to ask what happened and went to vm. I shouldnt have to beg people or companies to give them my business.
The guy from Ankmar were really great.I set this appointment up on line. I received a call from Sam S. The technician and he was there within 30 minutes. He looked over my garage door and gave me some ideas and answered all my questions and gave me a price of what it would cost for them to do what was needed and what I wanted. They relocated my springs and replaced the garage door opener. The job was completed within 2 hours. I couldn’t have been happier. Job well done.

New build, all the other house have their doors installed. Been 6+ months and still dont have to top half of the door with glass to match the other door. Installed a piece with glass and it was wrong too big and missing pieces. So now it looks like a big black eye on a new house. So far company is very unprofessional. I would not recommend them. I want to see about getting doors installed from another company and just be done with this. Technician would be here between 12-4. It is almost 6pm and nobody it here. Please take you business elsewhere!
I have used Ankmar for my garage door repairs for a number of years. They are a reliable company and I have never had any difficulties in scheduling a service, or with the quality of workmanship. When scheduling an appointment I am able to select a time-window, and the service technician has always called, arrived, and completed the necessary service, within that same time-window. Sure, there are companies out there that might be cheaper - but remember, you get what you pay for. Ankmar is my go to company, they installed the garage door, and mechanism, keypad, etc, almost 20 years ago. Great company, great service.

Ive had good luck with Ankmar through the years. They hire good people and they usually do a good job. This time I used them the work turned out fine, but there were some scheduling problems that were their fault, and not mine, but they solved those problems in their favor and not mine, which I did not appreciate.

When our garage door quit working for an unknown reason, we called Ankmar for help. They sent a repairman (Eric) within 24 hrs to diagnose the problem. Eric was very pleasant & knowledgeable. He found a replacement circuit board for our opener so we didnt have to replace the whole thing. He made 2 trips to our house to repair the opener, found the new part, and synced my car with the opener - all for a very reasonable price. We had a great experience with Ankmar.

Ankmar is the absolute best door company! They are a national company that does a lot of commercial work. I was told (by a competitor) last week that they could not compete with the prices at Ankmar after they fixed a Spring and some bearings and charged me $701! Dont get scammed like me. I was impatient and I payed for it.

I had Eric J from Ankmar come to the house about a half hour early than originally planned and of course he called to let me know he was coming. Once he got here he could see my garage door eye wasn’t set right and proceeded to fix both lights and told me what to look for when aligning the eyes. He was friendly and a great humorous individual. He also mentioned some other things to keep my garage door working which was greatly appreciated. I would recommend this company to anyone great service and the office staff had Eric come a few days earlier than originally thought.

Our garage door spring broke when the weather temperature went - degrees and we could not open the garage door. They were very responsive and affordable. They were able to come out the same day and fixed the door within 30 minutes. The serviceman was professional and very nice.

My garage door would open but would not close. The sensor on one side had been knocked a bit “cock-eyed” so it wouldn’t close . That was good information from the friendly, helpful Ankmar employee who came out to the house. He checked/oiled everything else while he was here. The next time I’ll know. I wonder if other customers wish Ankmar would put some kind of bar handle on the inside bottom edge of the door. I’m short, plus the door is heavy, so if I have to pull the release cord to pull the door down, or to lift it, there is NOTHING to grab and pull either direction. I’ll finally put one on but it seems one should be part of the door.
This request was for an annual service inspection as I want experiencing any problems but wanted to make sure there weren’t any potential issues that I wasn’t aware could be. The tech showed up on time and made some quick assessments that the original installation had no issues that loosened our needed attention. He then sprayed lubricant on all the joints to improve the garage door efficiency and functions. He was quick to service the garage doors and told me everything was working well. He also got my second garage door programmed on the outside control panel to open and close very quickly.All and all this was a quick and very smooth service call.

Garage door opener was broken and apparently we had an older opener and door. Overall, Ankmar had to send someone over 4 times to get this fixed because each time something new did not work and the costs compounded. Finally fixed and working well but I had to take many days off to make sure to be here for them to solve each issue. Also, if you need to schedule another visit with a technician, make sure to call the office and ensure you are scheduled. I ran into that issue and wasted a day because they did not come when they said they would. Overall, the opener and door is working well and hopefully will work for several years.

Ankmar originally installed our garage door. We recently experienced an event that prevented us from opening the garage door. The technician quickly surveyed situation and diagnosed the problem and replaced the anchor with bigger screws. Problem solved. They stood behind their product and service and covered with warranty. Pretty disappointed in Ankmar. Our garage doors are from Ankmar so I thought they would be the best to replace a piece of cracked frosted glass. Im not sure if they couldnt find the original order or if they didnt have enough detail but when the first technician came out he didnt have frosted glass with him. When someone finally came out to replace it they replaced it with essentially black frosted glass. They did not call to tell me it was different but instead just left after the install. When I raised the issue with Ankmar they said it was due to different batches. This is far too different for that to be the case. If there is another company reading this that can do this correctly please let me know.
The garage technician arrived in the allotted time slot. He was very knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the problem causing a loud noise(broken spring). He knew how to deal with older springs, had the parts needed and replaced the springs, and also lubricated the hinges, and educated us on yearly maintenance. Our door is much quieter now!
The repair man was very professional. He was early for the appointment and had the broken spring replaced very fast. He then did a little realignment and lubricated the rollers and all hinges. I will definitely use Ankara again and I will recommend them.

The installer, Javier, was out yesterday to install the new garage door and opener and he was simply amazing! Very kind and considerate, cleaning up every little nail and bolt and even some cobwebs and dirt that were there before he even showed up (which I told him he didnt have to do but he did anyway) :]. Our garage looks better than it has in the 15 years weve lived here! Javier was very proficient, polite & professional, showed up on time, and worked diligently to make sure everything was right by checking his work along the way and tweaking track or pvc trim as needed to fit 100% correctly in our space. Two visits were needed to fix my garage door from slamming shut. The first repair solved the slamming but it caused a lot of noise and vibration from the motor. The second visit fixed the noise and vibration from the motor. First visit was a 3 star, second was a 5! Both repairs were covered under warranty from a spring replacement installed almost a year ago.

I had to call Ankmar on a Sunday evening for an emergency call because I broke my garage door. They came out to reset it so at least it would close that evening and came back a few days later to fix the parts that had broken. I thought the price was very reasonable especially considering it was a Sunday evening and an emergency. I was very pleased with the service and would definitely recommend them.
They installed a new door and opener at my old house and did an excellent job and were competitively priced. Last week I was considering a new opener and had them do a check-up on my door at my new home. The technician was on time, friendly and said my current door was in great shape and did not need to be replaced. He even reprogrammed my keypad and I did not have to buy a new door or opener.
