First time customer and not impressed at all. Walked up to the ice cream case about 2 feet away from it and i was awkwardly greeted… girl with black hair was running her hands through her hair told me that she didn’t greet me cause she was waiting on me to say what i wanted.. so kinda put me in a blame position as if its my job to greet the employee..Anyway i then asked if any of the cones where vegan and the same girl with long black hair says “probably not, i have no idea” not even bothering to check with a coworker or look at the packaging…Then to add to this girl’s horrible customer service skills she proceeds to use her bare thumb to get my ice cream into the cake cone… with no gloves… during this covid era we are all living in.. no masks either for any of the employees…Whatever i dont fully care cause i am vaccinated and already had covid but I expect more from this place.. they probably have thousands of customers a week and this is just unacceptable in 2021. I still tipped %15 percent because capitalism is still upon us and people need to eat. But i would suggest a training day for this girl.
Great ice cream spot in the heart of Denver’s Grand Central Station. My party all had the Mint Oreo. We got kid sizes and it was plenty for us. The ice cream was high-quality and really tasty.
Their sign on the door was incorrect but the server still served me a few mins after closing. The salted caramel peanut butter cup sundae was great and was a good value.
Very mediocre. The vegan chocolate tasted almost watered down, the salted cookie wasnt very flavourful either, and the sorbets were very grainy. The banana praline was pretty good though
Decent ice cream but pretty much never open.
A little pricey but So. Freakin. Good!!! Service is great and ice cream is even better. Best ice cream I’ve had in Denver by far!
Wow had a sundae with a friend and it was very tasty and smooth.. perfect timing and perfect place.. prompt service
The lady in front of me got a giant kid scoop. I got a tiny one. No consistency and it’s four dollars for a kid scoop.I’ve cream is mealy and so not worth it!Try Scoop on Platte St
***Worst ice cream I’ve ever tasted in my several years of ice cream eating! Extremely salty… could not even finish it. Also extremely over prices for something that tastes like a salt block. Stay clear of this place!
Ice cream was not creamy at all, it felt like having a sorbet. I ordered a mocha chip ice cream, it wasn’t really flavorful too….would not recommend.
Great service & the flavors are absolutely delicious. Definitely would recommend
Tried the vegan brownie ice cream and was blown away they make something that good without a cow
Good ice cream and friendly staff!
Closed with no explanation - called before hand and confirmed hours. Call and try to talk to someone before you go here.
$9 for a milkshake? No AC so all the ice cream was soft serve. My $9 shake was liquid within minutes.
Ice cream overall was good but if you are going to get cookie dough ice cream you hope there is some cookie dough in it.
Stopped in for the first time to try some of their vegan ice cream the other night. The space is cute and the staff was nice but the vegan ice cream is probably some of the worst Ive had in Denver. The two flavors I tried were Almond Joy and Chocolate - both seriously lacking in flavor. So bland and icy - and if youre no stranger to vegan ice cream, you know exactly what Im talking about. If youre looking for vegan ice cream in Denver - Id recommend going elsewhere.
Service is excellent even when they are busy. Looking forward to returning with my relatives. Menu is like a cafe in Indianapolis I loved.
They had some really interesting flavors such as earl grey and basil! They also had some more normal flavors such as chocolate and pumpkin pie. I had a scoop of Tin Can Whiskey with Pistachio Brittle and a scoop of pumpkin pie and both were phenomenal! Fresh and full of flavor and the brittle was probably the best thing I’ve ever had! The girls working here were so friendly and nice! Hoping to make another stop before we go home!
Normally a busy place with people always coming for ice cream! They only had a few vegan flavors when we came in, and you do get a good amount for what you pay for. Also they offer boozy shakes and such, havent had one yet but they sound so good! The place seemed a little rushed and disorganized on the staffs end when we were there, and the ice cream we got seemed a little soupy, so not sure if that was just a one day problem or a normal thing. Also the chocolate peanut butter vegan ice cream was great but it was super sugary, so Id recommend splitting it with someone!
I only visited at first because I was at Union Station and was craving ice cream but the great service (thank u, Tony!!) and vegan options definitely made me want to return. Its a little bit expensive as far as ice cream goes, but if you have the funds, its absolutely worth it. Also the vegan chocolate salted oreo ice cream is amazing and Im sad I didnt catch the name of the employee who recommended it to me.
It was so fresh. Looking forward to returning with my relatives. Feels similar to a cafe in Chicago I liked.
Food was so yummy. Looking forward to going back again. Prices were average for the menu. Similar to a cafe in Las Vegas I loved.
For the location the place is looking old and falling apart and dusty and dirty.
Sine says closed tell further notice
Boozy milkshakes for the win.
I love the flavors, there’s something about Colorado ice cream where you can really taste the flavor and it feels like I’m eating fresh fruit (in some cases) great portions too
Loved the rolled ice cream. Staffs are friendly and the ice cream is delicious. Give it a try you will definitely love it. You can sit outside and enjoy the ice cream. This is a beautifully delicious place..
One of the best ice cream places I have been to! If you are visiting Denver and you are looking for some ice cream, I highly recommend stopping by this place! The ice cream is really good and if they have the flavor space junkie that is a must try for a unique flavor that is not really found anywhere else.
Staff was kinda rude. I felt like I was in the way, and I was the only customer at the time. ice cream was amazing, however, and the prices were great! Cute shop too!
Do not leave if its busy, it is worth it. The service was very welcoming and sociable.
YUM! Many delicious flavors to delight your tongue. They also offer shakes, boozy shakes, and waffle cones (dipped and not dipped). What a nice treat after a day of traveling.
They serve Little Man ice cream so you can’t go wrong. Salted Oreo is hands down the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Their boozy milkshakes are yummy as well. Vegan options available!
I love this place. I love the salted caramel ice cream and I love that they always have some vegan options as well (and those vegan options are usually some of the best in the case!). Theres also lots of seating options here from outside on the Plaza on a nice day with the fountains running or inside the old train hall. Great atmosphere in both. If youre with a group, this is literally feet from Pigtrain coffee so theres lots of options if someone in the group prefer an iced coffee and pastry over ice cream.
They serve Little Man Ice Cream which is absolutely delicious! Cute little shop inside Union Station. Was fine to visit during a Thursday afternoon but might have a bit of a wait on a busy evening or sporting event day.
The posted menu prices are lower than what they charge at the register. They also don’t disclose a 15% surcharge on top of tax and tip. Beware of what you are going to actually pay.
Small ice cream shop. With limited ice cream selections. Had other choices to maybe satisfy your cravings. Its inside this building.
Loved their ice creams! Its crowded during the weekend but we waited in the queue and got the best ice cream. Do try the cinnamon french toast flavor. Its to die for😋
Had a splurge moment, doesnt happen often...This ice cream was good. Didnt have the caramel flavor I wanted but settled for salted Oreo and Espresso flavor one (Dont remember the exact name)...The combination of the two was DELICIOUS!!!! Wanted to have another one today but had to resist 😏
The salted Oreo was is very good. It was the snotty little blond boy cashier that has no respect for his elders and telling me what side of the cash register I could pay on that really ruined everything about the Milkbox to the point I wont go back.$4.69 for a single scoop of ice cream should come with respect and a show of good manners. I dont catch the disrespectful kids name. But I will go back and get it. Ill let you know
This place was great! Quick service and a lot of different options. I has the salted caramel peanut butter ice cream and it was delicious. The Union Station is very neat looking as well.
Great ice cream! Was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. Got myself a scoop of Banana Pudding and Salted Oreo and was sad when I ate it all! Need one of these in Colorado Springs.
This place has a variety of flavors for a variety of tastes. From the classic Vanilla to something more exotic, such as Earl Grey Tea and Cookies. The ice cream is rich and decently priced for the quality. The service we received was friendly. There are lots of places around the shop to enjoy the ice cream. It is right next to a water feature/fountain, where kid can play and cool off, and adults can enjoy the view.
This is a sister store for another great Denver ice cream shop - Little Man. Both serve ice cream made by their stores. Best place to get Vegan ice cream in Denver along with Little Man. Located right in Union Station with great outdoor seating. Perfect for a nice summer day or everyday. Best ice cream in Denver. Perfect for visitors or locals.
I am a huge fanatic for ice cream so when I saw this place hidden inside of Union Station I decided to make a quick stop. The ice cream was pretty great and the store is well-decorated. Im not the pickiest ice cream eater so I enjoyed the ice cream and would definitely recommend trying it. It wasnt anything special but it definitely did the trick and I would stop by again next time I find myself in Union Station for a tasty treat.
Great ice cream! My family and I really enjoyed it. We came back almost every night for dessert while we were in town. We thought the prices were reasonable, we got a lot for our money, and the ice cream tasted good with a lot of unique flavors to choose from.
So Im in Denver for the weekend with my son. He suggested that we go get ice cream. I did a quick Google search, and found this place. We took a little walk from our hotel (about 1.1 miles) over to this place. Let me tell you that it was so worth the walk. I ordered a salted oreo shake, and it was absolutely amazingly delicious!!! This may be some of the best ice cream Ive had in my 41 years of existence!!! I would highly recommend this place, and I will definitely stop here every time I am in Denver.
AMAZING Vegan ice cream!! 😍😍 4 different flavors. Great customer service as well. The location is PERFECT right next to the splash pad :)Edit: a year later and still our favorite place to go for Veg ice cream. I also need Emily and Isabel to be recognized for outstanding customer service today.
Do not ever stop serving the Thai Iced Cream and Olive Oil flavor. I didnt think Id like Olive Oil but its one of my favs now along with their homemade waffle cone. I cant even eat dairy but Im willing to face the consequences.
Loved the unique flavors (mango chili, Colorado Avalanche) and variety. On the softer side so you must eat fast if getting a cone. If nearby definitely stop in.
The homemade vegan ice cream is like no other. Its a nice treat after the train.
Great place for dessert! Service was quick and employees were friendly! The salted caramel peanut butter ice cream was AMAZING!! I had to go back and get it a second time!
Being downtown, youd think that having more than one person working would be a good idea. Decent ice cream, but nothing amazing. Took 20 minutes to get through the line on a Monday night. Cute place but could be managed better to have faster service.
Visited today and had a really great experience. The staff were very friendly and even brought the ice cream out to the table we were sitting at because my grandma is a wheelchair. The ice cream was great and we asked the staff for suggestions for tourist attractions.
Milk box has really good ice cream. The texture was so smooth and creamy it reminded me a little of gelato. The only reason I didnt give a five star is because they dont have the creative flavors or large selection that some of my favorite ice cream shops have. Their freezer holds about a dozen flavors and they were all classic flavors--chocolate, oatmeal cookie, banana pudding, etc. The space they have is plenty big to hold more freezers and flavors, but instead they have filled 75% of it up with swag that you can buy.
Very popular place when the weather is warm . . . expect to line-up ! Food is very good !
The train station is super cool but they seem to be riding on the stations tailcoats. There are very few options. I chose the French Toast and it was just cinnamon toast crunch cereal mixed in and made chewy by the ice cream. It wasnt bad but it wasnt good.
I liked this place but I do wish they had some more interesting flavors.
Two people could probably share a scoop. Flavors were unique. Location was fantastic.
The flavors that they offer are great, the place is cool too that is why they are getting my 5 stars. The only downside is that they are located in down town and the benefit of that is that they will put downtown prices to their product other than that this place is great.
The best ice cream ever! I just hop on the fast track and will go downtown just to get ice cream and go home. Salted oreo is the best
Really good flavor in the ice cream but kinda melted. Union station is fun atmosphere and the ice cream shop makes it a great place to enjoy an afternoon downtown.
Such a great place to visit anytime. We always stop here when we are downtown. Highly recommend place to stop
Had the banana pudding ice cream and it was amazing. Sooo good. Highly recommend.
We went a few nights before Christmas, it was very busy and the wait was very long. There was one employee working and another just watching. It took 20 minutes to get ice cream and a shake. The ice cream was amazing but the wait was terrible.
Yes to all their vegan ice cream. Salted Oreo is my favorite! Definitely coming back for more
Got myself a small malt for about $6.50 including tax and it was very good!!
Yummy treat for a sunny afternoon! It was VERY busy (line was out the door and wrapped around), but they worked quickly and we didnt have to wait very long to be served.
Great find downtown Denver. I got the Space Jam (blackberries, marshmallow swirls and brownie chucks) and it was very delicious. I probably wouldve been able to eat a whole pint.
Staff wasn’t very friendly and my sister found several hairs in her scoops. So after pulling three hairs out and no bites taken. We just threw them out.
Great spot to grab some Little Man ice cream! Staff were friendly and lots of flavors to choose from
