I don’t have a scooter personally but my friend does and I ran an errand with him here. Staff was really nice and helpful with him ordering a part for his Aprilia SR50. Heck I would even consider getting a scooter one day just to be able to come by here on the regular! The “drink more margs” sticker is included because they have super fun stickers all over the side of the counter.

I went in on memorial day weekend to look at scooters, I have wanted one forever and decided it was time to take the plunge. I’ve been doing business with Sportique for 20 years. They are a fantastic local, family run scooter shop that always delivers. Most recently I had to take my Stella in for a tune up, where their mechanic found a bunch of age damaged parts that needed to be replaced (that I would never have known about). I understand the no returns, but not even an even exchange? A little ridiculous for the amont of money spent. Wont be back again or recommending this place.In response to your response - no, it was a simple helmet that was purchased a few days ago. Wasnt crazy about it to begin with but you were pretty low on stock so I purchased anyways. When I got home and thought about it more, I decided if I was going to spend that much, I wanted something I really loved. I never put it on my head expect at the store... where you can do that and buy it... or not and it can be re-sold, but you cant take it home (possibly wear it or not) and not return it because you may have put it on your head. It came out of the box to take a look at it again and went right back in the box. I called to ask if I could exchange and was told no because they didnt know if I put it on or not. I know not everyone is truthful, but some of us still are. I didnt want my money back, I simply wanted a different helmet. And if no returns or exchanges are allowed, maybe that should be told to customers when they are purchasing. Just saying.

Large man in service department was rude, arrogant and frankly, mean. My daughter’s scooter was stolen and recovered; we needed help replacing the ignition. Wires had been cut during the attempted theft. Apparently, our attempts to fix the damage threw us in Sportique’s “not worth the business” bucket. (Sorry for trying to fix this myself. ). We were chastised for being “Do It Yourselfers.”If you want to wait three weeks for snobby service and give all your money to the wizard behind the curtain, Sportique is for you.If you want a solid mechanic who you trust to help and teach you about your scooter, this ain’t your place.

This is THE place to come and find the right scooter for you! Not only dont hey have multiple sizes and makes of scooters, their staff rides them and knows their machines. Their staff is highly knowledgeable and will get you on the right bike without being sales-pitchy. Any question you can think of, they can answer. If you want a scooter, talk to these guys (by the way, Val is awesome!) and be treated to the best scooter shopping experience.

Ive been there 3 times now for my scooter - and Ive never walked out disappointed. I brought my Metro in with a simple request - better performance. The mechanic stayed under my budget, and did much more work than I expected. My scooter runs beautifully now, with a higher top speed and much better acceleration. 100% recommend these guys!

Loved my experience at Sportique! Went in yesterday, found the scooter I loved, and picked it up today! Im a newcomer to scooters so they taught me how to ride and drive it with some test driving in the back. Made the trek home today with the biggest smile on my face! These guys have an awesome selection of scooters. They can get you literally anything you want, and their service department and installation of extras by the service department was exemplary. Its great to see what passion about something can do for the quality of a business, it really shows with these guys.

I had an awesome experience buying my new Genuine G400c motorcycle recently. Jared was incredibly helpful and thorough in evaluating my needs and what machine would make me the happiest. It was ordered, received, put together and prepped for me to pickup within two weeks. The service department was very detailed about the break-in period for my motorcycle to ensure years of riding and enjoyment. Im already excited to hit 500 miles on it and perform my first oil change as a milestone. I plan on adding an electic NIU scooter to my arsenal in the next few years and will be going back to Sportique to do so. The place was busy bit that was to be expected for the location. Val took the time to ask what I was looking for and pointed out the differences in my options. There was pressure to upsell me anything but they did check make sure I had all the basics covered, helmet, lock and chain. Michelle took care of all the paperwork quickly and with no issues. Val went over all the controls and daily maintenance. Once she was comfortable my understanding of the scooter she asked if there any questions? The look on her face priceless when I said just one. How do you ride it? A quick test drive in the alley and I was scooting my way home like a pro.

Selection is constantly rotating thanks to high demand, but employees are still very knowledgeable and helpful. Getting a loan was quick and simple, but prices are such that you might not need one.

No pressure to purchase just making sure it was the best idea and experience for me. My scooter made my summer amazing and I have recently went back in for servicing on my scooter due to me hitting 500 miles. The owner Colin was super helpful and it was serviced with in 24hrs. Also my tire had a slow leak they plugged it at no charge to me. In my opinion this is the only place in Denver you should buy your scooter from.

My girlfriend and I bought a scooter from Sportique a few months ago and had the best experience! The salespeople were so knowledgeable, werent pushy at all, and pointed us in the right direction for our needs. We actually had some scooter issues (it wasnt starting properly) and when I called Sportique, they stayed on the phone with me and gave me all sorts of recommendations on how to troubleshoot. When we still had issues, we brought it in and they diagnosed the problem, replaced the battery for free, and we were on our way in 10 minutes. Would highly recommend purchasing from Sportique if youre in the market for a scooter!

I bought my Buddy 50cc scooter at the Sportique in Boulder and later consigned the same scooter at the Sportique in Denver. Both locations were great. The seller at the Boulder location was very helpful and took the time to make sure I was comfortable on the scooter before I bought it. In Denver, the rep there was up front about how long it would take for the scooter to sell (quickly) and sure enough it did. Very straightforward and pleasant business dealings.

Excellent customer service at Sportique! My scooter needed a long overdue tuneup and I was very pleased with the service. Unfortunately, my fuel pump broke shortly after I got it back ( not their fault!) I called to bring it in again and they turned it around in less than 4 hours even in these crazy, busy times! After dropping my scooter off for a minor repair an accident occurred during the test drive. My scooter was dumped and had more damage at pickup then at dropped off. Even though the accident was not at the fault of any Sportique employee, as it occurred while my scooter was in their possession these guys went above and beyond to make sure my scooter was taken care of at no cost to me. What I walked away with in the end was above and beyond all my expectations. These guys are top notch.

I love this scooter shop !!! they are always so helpful and have had every part I have needed for my 99 pre-bug Zuma in stock. Prices are always great and I really like being able to go into a shop and leave with the part I need. my scooter now runs perfect, also check out the mini Leechpit records store in the front corner, they have some amazing vintage toys and clothing

The only downfall is they dont work on Chinese scooters, but they have every part you need for them so thats a plus

Sportique stands by their work and their word. I was having issues with my spark plug and decided to take it in for $170 all-around tuneup. One month later, my front brake pad was so worn my calipers broke through the pad after a hard stop. The total expense to haul the moped, parts and labor was several hundred dollars. However, Sportique recognized that they should have suggested new pads on the tuneup, even if that wasn’t explicitly stated as their responsibility to communicate. Sportique covered half the bill as a fair compromise. Good people doing good business. I recommend.

All around great! The staff is super friendly and super informative. Makes the idea of getting into a scooter for less intimidating than it can seem, and they really seem to make sure their customers are set up for success. If you’re in Denver and into getting into scooters, this is your place for sure.Only drawback is somewhat limited hours.

Received tune-up services for my Kymco scooter. Representatives very nice and straight-forward in discussing issues and services. Time to complete services and prices were reasonable. I plan to use their services in future and I would recommend them to others.

Ive had mostly good experiences with this store. Adam, the co-owner, is always a pleasure to do business with and spent hours selling me on the idea of owning a scooter. They really understand the scooters they sell, and tend to sell only trustworthy brands like Genuine, Vespa, and Sym. Prices are reasonable, and they service everything they sell.Sometimes the sales associates can be a little impatient and intense. I find this to be a common theme at a lot of speciality stores (bike shops come to mind) where the staff are usually very much into what they sell. I dont think this is a big problem, and they mean well, but just be prepared as this might come across a little intimidating to the scooter novices out there.

I went in on a Friday afternoon after realizing changing the tires on my scooter was a bigger job than initially anticipated. Sportique was the only place around that was able to get the work done same day, without an appointment. Not only did they swap out both my tires last minute and before the end of the day as promised. They went above and beyond and answered any questions I had with my old, new-to-me scooter. They also recommended some additional easy maintenance they could do at the same time (spark plugs, oil change) that I might not have asked about. Thanks!

After switching out my tires, my exhaust pipe came loose. I took it back to the shop and they admitted the issue was on their end and fixed it for free. I purchased my scooter from Sportique back in 2015 and have had it since. However, recently it was stolen from my property. After figuring I would never see it again, I got a call from Sportique stating they found my scooter! When they called I was so excited to hear that I would be getting my scooter back. They were great to work with and helped me to get my scooter back in possession! Thank you Sportique for always being loyal and looking out for your customers.

Took my 2009 Yamaha Vino with less than 300 miles in to have it checked out because it was having a hard time starting consistently. The carburator had been rebuilt at another shop a few weeks prior because the original owner of the scooter had not ridden it often and it sat in the garage so we didnt think that the carburator was the problem (any more) but something was definitely wrong. Took it in to Sportique to have the professionals check it out and specifically requested that they check the spark plug and also check the fluids because we were sure that the other shop didnt do anything but the carburator. We were not in a rush to get it back and even set the pickup date for a week later. When we got the call it was ready we were very surprised to hear that what we were charged for was another rebuild of the carburator for $350 and that it was running like a dream now. Since we trusted the opinion of the technicians we paid for the repair but still asked if the carburator was the only issue that was going on with the scooter and we were told: Yes. Before we left I started it and stopped it a few times and it still struggled a bit but started up so, in faith of the work completed, we took the scooter as is. On the way home we decided to stop and get something to eat and I noticed that every time I came to a stop the scooter would lurch a little bit even with both brakes pulled in. When we reached our destination and were ready to leave my wife noticed that the back tire was spinning extremely fast and it did still have a little difficulty starting (Ride time: 20 minutes/Time scooter was off: 10 minutes). I proceeded to get on the scooter and get it off the kickstand and the back tire peeled out a little bit once it touched the gravel. When we got home, I showed my wife that the scooter would literally drive it itself without pulling the throttle. I kept my left hand on the handlebars and took my right hand off (where the throttle is) and took off down the street at a speed of 10mph. After investigating and researching I find out that the idle was set too high on the carburator that was just replaced. I didnt take it back because the adjustment seemed easy enough and they were closed for the day and would be for the next couple days because it was Saturday. The next day I went to get the scooter ready so I could leave for work and it had the same starting issue and has continued to have it for almost a month now. Adjusting the idle screw had remedied the lurching and self-driving issues but I was legitimately concerned that there was a major issue with the scooter. I decided I would try and pull out the spark plug as a starting point to see if that would be a solution. When I got the front cover off and the spark plug boot pulled away I noticed that the spark plug was really tight on there. I got the spark plug off and the whole tip of it was blackened (definitely in need of replacing). Once I replaced it, she has no problem starting on the first try! I have no issues with Sportique and I know they are super busy this time of year but I believe that you should do the minor checks first before you charge a customer $350 for a repeat of work that was already paid for and performed. Even if the carburator DID need to be done again make sure that the scooter is 100% ready to go ESPECIALLY if the customer has that concern and voices it at the time of drop off and pick up. I really like Sportique and appreciate what they do as a whole but on this repair they dropped the ball.

I purchased a Blue Kymco about two months ago. Adam and Michelle did amazing work test driving, communicating, and facilitating the sale. About a week ago, it was crashed and totaled. I brought it back and Bobby worked with me to get the proper paperwork sent so I could move forward with other transportation options.
