Was sleeping on a broken bed for month before I broke down and went here. Chris at the Transit location had me set up with a new bed, foundation, and frame in 30 minutes for under 2k. I walked in on a Saturday...bed delivered by Wednesday. Its a great, firm, king size and Ive never slept better. Great customer service, quality product, and I have no buyer remorse. Expecting guests for the weekend and discovering a bunch of busted wooden slats on the current bedframe, I called City Mattress and spoke to Alicia. I explained my situation, my time crunch, and my need for same-delivery and she hooked me up! In less than an hour, I had a solution to my problem, and two new box springs and a new metal frame were loaded up to be delivered to my house. I was at work during the delivery, but my in-laws said the people installing the items worked quickly and were very friendly and professional. Before I even got home, the new metal frame was installed inside my current frame to replace the busted wooden slats, and the new box springs added much-needed support. I could not be happier with my experience all around – with Alicia who was knowledgeable, empathetic, and extremely professional; with the warehouse staff who loaded and shipped my order so expeditiously; and with the friendly and professional staff who installed my items with great care. I would absolutely recommend this exceptional store in the future.

I purchased a mattress in July; then took advantage of the Comfort Guarantee and exchanged it for another. There was nothing wrong with the first mattress - I just needed one with more support. They will make sure that you try out whatever it is that you are looking for. The great thing about shopping @ City Mattress you can compare mattresses from soft to medium or firm to medium light firm. They even have a foot pad at the bottom of the bed, so that you can lay on the mattress with your shoes on. Try not to fall asleep, because you will relax. I purchased a mattress back in August of 2019 and it was delivered in September. About three months of sleeping later and Im quite pleased with how soundly I sleep. The sales person Jake was helpful and took a lot of time to find the right mattress for me.

We purchased an adjustable bed base set which was a floor model. We specifically asked if the floor model was going to be removed from the floor after we purchased it until delivery and were told yes. Went back several days later to measure the mattress for bed sheets and found our bed base still on the floor for other customers to use. We dont appreciate being lied to by the salesman. Not very happy about this and are thinking of canceling our entire order and spend our money elsewhere.ADJUSTMENT-I changed my review from 1 to 5 stars. Since my last review, the District Manager was quick to respond as well as very accommodating and understanding with our concerns!! We have dealt with multiple employees from the store and everyone has been so helpful and knowledgeable. Im glad things changed for the better!! Thank you City Mattress!!

Went there one day just to look at mattresses and get an idea of what we wanted. We had no intention of buying same day as we like to do more research on big ticket items. Nevertheless the salesperson who helped us out was very nice showing us the mattresses that were in the price range we set for ourselves. He answered all of our questions and helped us understand more of what we wanted (sounds silly I know but we kinda went in blind.) We ended up going pretty over our set limit but that was our own fault. We asked him to show us the most expensive one they had and ended up trying a few on our way over and absolutely loved one of the ones we tried ourselves. Almost a year later and we are still loving it.I did take one star off because one of the delivery men kept looking around our place and in boxes while he was there. We had just moved in, hence the boxes, and it seemed as though he was checking the place out to see if it would be worth a hit later. Slightly paranoid sounding but it made us a bit uneasy.

I recently purchased a Knickerbocker Embrace 360 bed frame from the City Mattress on Transit Road in Depew, NY. When I first went in, I met Paul and he was very patient and helpful as I spent time inspecting the frame (they have several models set up on the floor to hold mattresses). I would definitely recommend that frame - it is solid as a rock. I ended up coming into the store about 4 or 5 times over the course of a month or so with different questions and I even wanted to measure certain aspects of the frame using the floor models as a reference. It was on one of the subsequent visits that I met Jake, the store manager. Jake is extremely friendly and knowledgeable with a good sense of humor. He was very patient with me and took the time to answer additional questions from me over the phone. Yes, Im a little OCD when making a purchase, but both Jake and Paul made me feel like I was their only customer that day - they were patient, courteous, eager to help and never made me feel like I was bothering them - and the reason Im so impressed is because I wasnt purchasing an $8,000 mattress... I was merely purchasing a $350 bed frame!! OUTSTANDING customer service from Paul and Jake!! I would not hesitate to recommend City Mattress on Transit Road in Depew, NY for ANY of your sleep needs. Make sure you see Paul or Jake - both gentlemen are first class. I will definitely be back in the future!

Came here looking to get a mattress set that could be delivered in 4 days for some out of town guests. Jake was EXCELLENT, not your typical pushy salesman that cuts off your sentences or follows you around after you say you’re just looking. He informed us on the layout of the store and left us to shop and answered all our questions. I didn’t end up getting the set that day, but “slept on” the decision (Jake’s joke). The next day I called to purchase the set and another salesman answered the phone. He was able to help me out and made extra phone calls to ensure that my delivery would be before my guests arrived which I so appreciated! I love the mattress so much that I took it for myself and gave the guests my old one. Excellent shopping experience and staff who go out of their way to accommodate your specific needs. So this process seemed so daunting with so many options and prices. I did some research online before I ever went into a mattress retailer. I choose City Mattress because of their great reviews and they also have been in business for a very long time. They must be doing something right. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Jake. Jake was incredibly knowledgeable and most importantly, HE LISTENED. He listened to everything I told him. Not just how I sleep or what level firm - plushness I wanted, but my life style, my medical issues that create a hard time for me sleeping most of the time. I was uncompromising on the adjustable bed. I had to have one but the time he took to show me and try out different levels of firmness and different adjustable options made all the difference. His in depth explanations of how and what and why was exactly what I wanted. I needed to be taught about the things I was about to buy. Without his expertise I would still be searching and searching and hopefully not making a huge mistake else where. He got my quote written up for me, and after a very brief phone call to my husband for the go ahead we placed our order for a brand new highly anticipated adjustable spilt king size bed. He made sure I was aware of all warrantys and what would void those warrantys. He made sure after all the money we were spending that we received a very good mattress protector, he even got me a good deal on it! He sold us on the 0% interest for 48 months, and after being verified with the bank they work with, I couldnt believed what our monthly payments would be. This gentlemen went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and would be very happy with our purchase. People spend a lot of money on this stuff, and he never lost sight of that. I cant wait to get my new bed and finally have a good nights rest, and the best part....after 30, 60 or even 90 days if we do not like our mattress we can return and pick a different one! Thanks City Mattress and Jake for your superior customer service!! We will never shop anywhere for a bed again!
