I used to live in the area and frequented these guys. I have since moved, but they are one of the best hydraulic shops in the Nation! Only wish they were closer!

Charged us 900.00 for a hose that we could have bought from 5 star John Deere for 450.00. update, talked with the owner and he explained that the counter person upgraded my hose to a 5000 lb spec rather than a direct replacement 4000 lb,I maintain that I should have been advised of the employees choice,that choice cost a addl $46.00 a foot.Dave issued me a credit for most of the addl cost.Im pleased with the outcome. I didnt have time to question the charge at the time of service and took the review route. in the future if there is a problem and it cant be resolved at the counter I will ask to speak with Dave.

Very disappointed in my experience at Ferry Hydraulic. I’ve been a customer for 10 years and spent a considerable amount of money at this establishment. After today I will take my business elsewhere. The employee behind the counter should be ashamed of himself and if I were the owner I would have a strict taking to with this individual and how they conduct themselves when interacting with customers. I can understand and appreciate company policy if there is one, however this disgruntled employee preferred to act confrontational and demeaning in order to put on a show for his friend and fellow coworkers around him rather than act like a professional and explain why something could not be done and what alternatives there were instead. He could save everybody time when they show up and just say “get out I’m not helping you” instead but I suppose that would not be as fun and entertaining for him. As a business owner myself I would not be successful if my attitude was the same as this employees was today. Perhaps if it was HIS business with HIS reputation on the line he would have more tact and respect for those who come through the doors looking to spend their money. I hope this employee sees this review and changes his tune for the good of the company. I will no longer support or recommend Ferry hydraulic and will go elsewhere from now on.

I’ve been coming here for years for misc fittings. Today I was in a situation and needed a clamp that they only stocked very urgently. I got there 10 minuets before closing and they were already closed up and the employee was waiting on his car waiting to leave. It’s hard enough to work around the early buissness hours yet alone the lazy employees closing up early. Lost my business!
