This family owed business is such a great bunch of people. Ken, Kim, Maryan. All amazing even the grandsons, sorry I dont know their names. Ken really took the time to tell me how to maintain my lawn mower. He told me all the dos and donts. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

I went there and bought a used 22 6.75 4 cycle craftsman used mower. It purred like a kitten and has the nicest cut. Im not a big lawn mower or grass guy but this thing is really nice and I felt I got a great deal. They even let me try it there and cut their own. There is also a great sense of peace of mind knowing if anything comes up I can come back to them. Thanks for everything !!!

Ive utilized Kens services at South transit hardware to repair and maintain my Yardman snow blower over the past four years. Ive found his work excellent and his pricing competitive. Hes demonstrated an above and beyond level of customer service by allowing me to drop off my machine at the business after hours to accommodate my needs. I have recommended South Transit hardware to my friends and family and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants their power equipment repaired by an experienced professional that is conscientious about his customers needs.

I took the two front tires and wheels from my lawn tractor to this business. I had two new tires that I wanted mounted. I paid $50 for two tires from Walmart. Ken, the owner, quoted me $60 to remove the old tires and mount the new ones. These are SMALL tires and wheels that do not have to be balanced. He mentioned that he might have to install tubes, which would cost another $36. Are you serious!! I went down the road a short distance and was quoted $50 total including new heavy duty tubes. guess who got my business. Steer clear of this rip-off place.

Bought a refurbished lawn mower from Ken. Not only does he service the mowers himself, but he also goes through the features of the mower, lets you try it, and helps to put it in your vehicle when you pick it up.

Needed a shear pin for my blower. Only place that had them in stock in the area.
