Wasn’t shown the real car fax report when I purchased my vehicle, salesman said it was in a minor fender bender, just to find out at the Ford dealer, it was in a major crash,after an engine failure that would have cost 8k to fix, I found the extended warranty wouldn’t cover it. 72000 miles and had to scrap car. One positive was that service manager was very professional and courteous, out $31000,

I just bought a 2018 Subaru from here and the whole process went really smoothly! Steve Fabre was my salesperson and he was a huge help. He helped me figure out a bunch of things, was really patient, and accommodating. There was some slight issues with the rotors but they had them replaced within a day before I bought the vehicle. Overall, it was an easy car buying experience and I love the vehicle. 10/10 would recommend Steve!!
Steven Fabre is a very friendly and helpful person, I bought my car and they told me they were going to fix some things for him so for a full week they kept the car and I called every day to see what happens when I finally go to look for it. They gave it to me without finishing the arrangements and I already have to pay the month and they have not resolved what was agreed

The sales lady was really nice but dont buy from there. There was so much wrong with the car I was looking at and they promised to fix it. It took them over a week and I told them the power steering was bad and many other things. The sales manager and tech said there is nothing they can do and its an older car so it is to be expected. I guess they can expect me to never buy the again.

So I was in the market to buy a new vehicle at first I went to a better Way wholesale auto in Naugatuck and could not believe the things that I had to deal with their! long story short I asked for my money back and then had to figure out what I was going to do next. someone I knew had recommended New England auto World and I have to say my experience here was great! I went to the dealership on Labor Day weekend, where I was greeted by Steve Saturday morning. I had my eyes set on a Ford Explorer that they had listed on there website. My wife and I had taken it for a test drive and We immediately Knew this vehicle was for us, so we had filled out the paper work and started the process. With Labor Day being Monday we had gotten a phone call telling us we were approved! By Wednesday our vehicle was ready to be picked up!!! I was sadly sold a lemon :( I had multiple problems with the car from the beginning. Ultimately, I ended up with a blown engine. I was told the warranty wouldn’t cover it due to “poor maintenance” even though I had kept up on it.
My husband and I went to New England Auto World in Derby Ct on May 6, 2017. We had a wonderful experience there. We walked in and met with Anthony. We told him our budget, and what kind of vehicle we preferred. He was the greatest! He literally gave us a stress free, non-pushy, shopping experience. This place is great. I went in looking to purchase a Buick and met Mesha. Long story short the Buick didn’t work out but she found me an Altima that was lower priced, with very low miles and nearly new. The process was painless and they were even able to get me a low rate on financing. Highly recommended.
Called ahead to make an appointment for a test drive. Showed up on time. Salesman showed me the car, and asked if I was planning on buying it today. I said Im gonna test drive it first and then decide. He says he has to talk to the manager and has me sit down. 15 minutes later he comes back and says we can only let you test drive the car if youre planning to buy it today because of the virus.Keep in mind that I told them from the start that I only wanted an appointment for a test drive. On the phone they didnt mention anything about the virus or having to buy the car if you want to test drive. I called a different dealership right after and they got me set up with a test drive for the same kind of car, and had no problems.Dont let these guys waste your time.

Absolutely dreadful car buying experience.I saw a car I was interested online and came into the shop for a test drive. All went well and I put a deposit down for a cash purchase. I wired the funds to the dealership within a few days and then waited for the safety inspection, detail, and registration to be completed. The funds cleared, and I was still waiting to hear back for when the car would be available for pick up (was promised to me by Saturday at the latest). I get a call Friday saying that the registration could not be completed since I did not have a CT drivers license (I had just moved to the state 7 days prior) and could not get CT plates on my car. I explained that I do not need a CT drivers license to have CT plates and the dealership agreed and called the DMV back to have my registration complete; however, now I have to wait until Monday to pick up my car.Monday rolls around, and my car is still not ready. I get a call the next day saying it is all ready for pick up.I head to the dealership and sign all the paperwork, and wait for my car. I waited for about 45 minutes in their lobby while my car was being washed (hmmm.. wasnt it READY to be picked up earlier that morning?). Finally, the car is washed and I am handed the keys, and to my surprise, the car is FILTHY. The car was NOT detailed (as promised & signed for in the contract) and the scratches on the exterior that were supposed to be buffed out are still there. Nobody was even going to tell me the car never got detailed, yet I received a call saying it was ready to be picked up.I was told that I could leave the car there for it to be detailed later that week or I could come in at another time to have it detailed. I was so upset that I took the car and never brought it back to be detailed - because frankly, I didnt believe it could happen without another major issue/headache, and was an extreme inconvenience for me as the dealership was an hour away from my home and I had to take time off from work to pick up the car during business hours.To top it all off, before leaving the dealership, I was told I would be receiving a refund for an over-payment I had made (which I had to bring to their attention) for the registration cost. Days, weeks, and months pass (along with multiple phone calls to them) and I finally get my check for the money I was owed. I had to literally call them 30+ times to speak with somebody who was able to help me. And to my dismay, the check is for less money than what I was owed. I am so fed up with this entire experience that I decided it wasnt even worth my time to fight for the rest of my money.I will never give business to this dealership again, and I strongly encourage you to not either. These people are unprofessional, do not follow through with their financial obligations, and are not to be trusted. Buyer beware!!!

My fiance emailed this dealer approximately 3-4 days ago to set up a test drive of a vehicle she liked the look of by pictures shown on cars.com.When dealer did not answer original email she called to make sure it had been received, when told yes it was they asked about what time she wanted test driven which had been indicated in original email for evening time slot. OK if a dealer is real busy I can see a slip of this nature, however upon reviewing ad for car I notice had VERY low mileage! FIRST RED FLAG IN MY MIND! We drove approximately 30 to 35 minutes from her work place to get to this dealer a sales man coming out the door asked why we were there as we approached him she told about test drive appointment for car on ad. He stated they were busy and showed us to an empty office where we could sit while he finished up with another customer. Not sure if he was only salesman there or not but he never introduced himself to us. He did come back very shortly after again asking about which car we wanted to see. For the readers information both of us currently are walking with canes due to recent injury for her and bad knees for me. Instead of driving the car around to the entrance for us to take the test drive had us walk roughly 250 feet across lot to where car was stored in between two other vehicles... car was not cleaned looked like it had been sitting under a flock of birds. Also on walk over to vehicle sales man asked if we were paying cash or financing and quoted price nearly a thousand dollars higher than online ad showed when informed of the online price he did not seem to know of it and later again mentioned the higher price. When finally at vehicle he started talking about unit and its low mileage, but when asked about that LOW mileage he stated Oh its a salvage title, Didnt you know?? AND THAT WAS THE FINAL STRIKE AND YER OUT FOR ME 1, never informed fiance it was a salvage title and she was told COULD test drive. 2 did not tell us it was not able to be test driven and still had us walk a fair distance with obvious difficulty (remember walking with canes?) 3: informing us after all that that was a salvage title and could not be financed after had already been told we were looking to finance vehicle!!!! BUYER BEWARE, SOME MAY HAVE GOTTEN GOOD DEALS FROM THIS DEALER BUT TO ME IT SEEMED TO BE A BAIT AND SWITCH TACTIC AS HE KEPT ASKING FOR PRICE RANGE OF VEHICLE WE WANTED TO BUY!!!!!!!!!!

I have bought two cars now from New England auto world. I have been going to them for over 2 years for all my services. They always have a vast selection of cars to choose from as well as an amazing sales teams of Tom or Aldo who are the absolute best and I highly recommend going to them. Eddie in finance department is beyond incredible with what he does and helps you through the entire process answering any and all questions. Lastly Alfredo in service department will never let you down. He has helped me in every single situation I have come across with prompt service and friendly advice. Purchased a car from them three years ago, love the car, though had to do more work on it then was lead in to believe. They have some level of incompetence in their Finance department. For a group of people who sell cars on a regular basis, one would hope they know how to file forms with the Department of Motor Vehicles properly. Turns out they dont know, in a co-sign situation both the payer and the co-signer need to be listed as owners. Now here I am 3 years later trying to register my vehicle but cant because of some idiot who filed the form incorrectly.

Me & my partner had been to dealership after dealership looking for the right match. A reliable nice car that we would want at a reasonable price. Being burned in the past by a previous car dealership that left us in & out of rentals & constantly in the shop. Especially with every dealership sounding like the last like they all shared the same script. From the moment we walked into this dealership it wasn’t about the car, it was about what was our situation & how they could help us & our family. Which is exactly what they did. They took the time to get to know us & make sure we were happy & getting a good deal on a great car for our family. If you want a dealership that actually cares about you & not a sale, this is the place. 10 out of 10, would recommend! We’re in love with our Nissan, & feel so good taking our baby girl home in it. I can’t thank Tom, Kort & pretty much the whole team. From the service, to detailing, & ensuring we had more than we needed, I have nothing but nice words. It’s definitely nice that they still call to check up on us & see how little baby is doing! Love this place, I recommend everyone!
This place is a joke. If i could give them negative 10 stars, i would. First, the pictures of the dealership on their website are very deceiving. The must be from 20 years ago when they might have been a thriving dealer. I showed up and the place is run down. There are about 3 large buildings, 2 of which look like they are abandoned and falling apart. The one they are all working out of is also dark and dingy.Second, I called ahead of time to let them know that I was interested in buying multiple vehicles (in cash) for my transportation business. The person on the phone told me that Eddie (Manager) would be waiting for me to make me a good deal and was excited about doing business with me. When i got there, Eddie would not talk to me and never left his office. All he said was that he could not work any deals for multiple vehicles and i would have to pay the listed prices. I advised this is not what the person on the phone told me, but he said they were in another building and didnt know how they operate.Third, The cars look good in the pictures, but were very beat up in person. The one car that i was most interested was not even available. The sales person told me that the vehicle was a bait car just to get people to the dealer. He said the dealer would not sell me the vehicle even if i wanted it. The cars were advertised as having 30 and 40 thousand miles, but they looked like they had 140,000 miles on them. You could tell these cars were poorly taken care of and definitely had more miles than advertised.Overall, this is a very SHADY place and i highly recommend that you stay away. You will be dissapointed, not only with the service and shady sales tactics, but with the quality of their inventory. You can find much better deals and better cars at places like Wiz auto in stratford or Better Way Auto in Naugatuck.Stay away from this place. I guarantee you will not be happy in the long run.

I purchased a car from out of state. The finance guy told me he would give me 250 for my car and ended up only giving me 200 and didnt say anything until ppwk was ready. Then, after informing finance not to charge me sales tax and tag, the guy told me I had to pay it and they would send to Mass. Nope. Now, I am trying g to find out how to get the 1600 back and they will not return call so Ill just sue.

On Carfax the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica looked in excellent condition and very clean. We called to schedule an appointment and were not informed that the car was is very bad shape so it could not even be test driven as it had a flat tire and no working battery. We had to pump the tire ourselves so we could take it for a test drive. The car was nothing like the photos was dirty all around and scratched up on the outside with rusty brakes. The brakes made a lot of noise when you pressed down on them even gently. Just to even start the car they needed to jump start it as the battery was dead. The right-side door did not open and car displayed the door as constantly open. A/C turned on and off every 2 seconds. The staff where friendly but I can not recommend going their as it will most-likely be a wast of your time with cars that are not in any condition to be shown or test driven and are overpriced.

I was VERY satisfied with my car buying experience at New England Auto World in Derby, CT. I purchased a 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee to replace a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I had purchased new. I found every person I dealt with, from my excellent and extremely accommodating salesman Vince, to the general manager, the business manager, and the service personnel to be extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. There were no high pressure tactics applied anywhere through the process, including the purchase of an extended warranty which I simply stated I did not wish to purchase. A CARFAX vehicle history report was given to me and I was able to do a thorough test drive on both city streets and the highway. While I did research financing terms elsewhere, the financing terms that the business manager and general manager obtained were quite good compared to the others I had found and I decided to go with the dealer’s financing through Wells Fargo Dealer Services.I have owned the Jeep for two months now and am very happy with it. Before the 60 day warranty was up, I took it in to have the tire pressure monitor system adjusted and to have the AC recharged. I believe that the AC should have been checked before the sale even though we were still in a cold weather period. But these items were taken care of cheerfully and quickly. I also found that the oil level and power steering fluid level, while not out of the acceptable range, should have been checked and topped off before the sale. However, these were minor issues and too insignificant to downgrade from my 5 star rating to 4 star. Based on my experience, I would happily recommend this dealership to a friend or family member.
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE of New England Auto World I wish I could give this a zero star rating but unfortunately I cant. I message the dealership then called to make an appointment to view and test drive this car (a Nissan Sentra sv 2017 on sale on Carfax) with no accidents or damages reported great mileage. Which was great. Before driving down there I called to make sure the car was available and not sold so I dont waste my time going over there. So I drove there and let receptionist know I was there to see this car and was told to ask for Eddy. I learned that EDDY was not a car salesman but a finance officer. Then the young lady seemed confused as to why they sent me here to come test drive this car. She proceeded to ask me cautiously if they (the customer service representative) told me any additional details about this car. I responded No. Thats when she told me the car was in an accident with clear visible DAMAGEs, CANT BE DRIVEN PASS 60 miles it will start shaking and its a cash only buy no financing sold as is. NO PART OF THESE ISSUES WERE EVER REPORTED/DISCLOSED TO CARFAX in the ACCIDENTAL HISTORY. I wasted my time going over there I felt like they used the price of that vehicle to bait you to come down to the dealership. They wanted me to look at other cars but I refused for the simple fact that they cannot be trusted on the information they would have provided on their cars, unless I have a trusted mechanic with me. So IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON GOING TO N.E.A.W I would advice against it. I should have listen to my gutt and the reviews Ive read on this dealership.

Due to my past experiences with other dealers I felt uneasy about them, even so I went in just to check it out. I am so glad that I did. Im so happy with my purchase and experience at New England Auto World. Anthony was awesome and gave excellent customer service. I got great vibes as soon as I walked in the door. I went in on a Monday and was able to pick up my car the next day. I purchased a 2015 Toyota Corolla. It had very low miles, still under the manufacturers warranty, was kept in great condition, and was reasonably price. The process of buying a car seems daunting in the mind of a person with poor credit and limited funds to put down. Thats Me. So I started by looking online. Found a couple of cars I was interested in and contacted the dealer through the site I was using. Right away (1030pm) I received a text from the owner of New England Auto World, Michael. I was able to explain my situation to him via text and he assured me that they would be able to help me. So I made an appointment for a test drive. With a bit a skepticism that they would be able to help in my situation, I went in. I was not disappointed. Michael, Bianca, Anthony and Eddie were friendly and more than helpful. One of the first things Anthony said to me when I explained my credit situation is Were here to help and they mean it. No pushy sales or misleading offers. I left there with great car, an affordable deal and most importantly, a smile. My mother(who accompanied me) said it was the most enjoyable car buying experience she has ever had and though I have limited experience buying cars, I would agree. First of all l;et me start with the people, Mecha did a great job trying to make a good deal, maybe negociating pricing with the dealer for me. You should be looking for a better place to work.You are to good for woking there. Good job. Just you can get my 5 stars. Now the phone sevice suuuucks. I dont know if this guys are actually at the dealership or at another location. I was reaseching for some time for a truck online and came across with this 2003 Nissan Frontier. I did my application online to go see it and submitted my info so they could see my credit and was approved in no time. So the next morning I received a call from them to schedule a visit to see the truck. Here comes the nice part, they made the visit for 7:15 pm the next day because I work till 6:30. So next day i get out of work go home real quick to get my wife and head to the Dealer before they close. So we got there on time and guess what? The dealer was close. I call the dealer while am there and the guy tells me to head to the showroom and just open the door. So i did but it was locked. So i figure this dude is not even here. They must be like a call center and they dont know was going on. There was another time that i went there after work and the same thing happenned. Finally I went Saturday to see it. I saw the truck, i liked it so I gave my down payment and let them get it ready. I added it to my insurance and next Satuday went to pick it up. And guess what Mecha comes by and again not her fault, and tells me they CAN NOT SELL THE CAR because didnt pass inspection. After all that could not get the car. If you post a car online make sure is safe to be driven and inspect it before show to public. Time lost. Gave thee stars thank to Mecha. Could be 1. There you have it. WATCH OUT.
If I could rate NO stars I would. Inquired via email about a specific car. Was contacted not once but twice by two different sales people within an hour confirming the vehicle was available. I made an appt for noon the next day (today). I even received confirmation text messages at 6pm telling me to ask for a VIP manager. I drove an hour from Hartford only to arrive and have the salesperson tell me unfortunately the car has been sold. It was obviously a bait car because he nonchalantly suggested we just see the other cars available. Blamed it on the telemarketers in another building that sometimes arent sure which vehicles are stil available.... I immediately left and refused to see other cars. The unprofessionalism is unreal. Who would feel comfortable dealing with them after that? I was reluctant to go after reading the google reviews but gave them the benefit of the doubt...now I see they were absolutely true. I was willing to drop $14,000 cash...and by the looks of the place they could have used the business. Their loss!
I was driving through the area, looking for a replacement vehicle after mine died unexpectedly - not being from the area, I wasnt familiar with this dealership, but was pleased by how helpful Gerald was in speaking with me and showing me vehicles he had in his lot. He was very courteous, no pressure and no games - just wanted to help me out to find the right vehicle. Although I eventually found a vehicle local to where I live, Gerald followed up to make sure I was all set and wish me well and to let him know if he could help me in the future. New England Auto World can be trusted to do the right thing for its customers, judging from the quality of the genuine people like Gerald they have - I highly recommend seeking him out if you are looking for a good vehicle with no games.
Five star doesnt describe the level service I got. I will say its way beyond on that. My salesman Anthony and the rest of the staff Worked beyond very hard to get me a car that fits me and my family. My son and I were looking for a car and I was not looking forward to shopping for it, however, we searched online for a specific car and found it for a good price here. When we entered the dealership, the salesperson who approached us was very helpful when we explained what we were looking for. Her name was Bianca and she was fantastic every step of the process. There was no hard sell and she made us feel very comfortable. We were able to pick up the car the next day and it has proven to be a great ride.

The main accountant Eddie, was very involved and interested in what option would work best for me and he did not disappoint. I went looking for a newer vehicle. I had been shopping for a while, and someone suggested New England Auto World. I went on their website, found a vehicle I was interested in, and spoke with Drew, one of the sales specialists. Very laid back, low pressure. I stopped in for a test drive, and liked the drive, but not the color and options. Drew found a better vehicle for me, and I test drove that one, and decided to purchase it. The car had low miles, and Drew was up front about it being a off-lease vehicle, and the fact that the CARFAX report indicated it had a minor incident. The trade in process was easy, financing was also easy. The rate was great considering I have less than stellar credit. The payments were right where I needed them to be. The safety check was performed, and the vehicle looked like new when I picked it up. The paperwork was easy, no pressure to buy anything additional. After the sale, I had a couple of things that needed to be addressed and they scheduled a time that was convenient to stop in, leave the vehicle, and pick up a loaner. They called me again to come back and pick up my car, and everything was perfect again. I would definitely recommend Drew, and New England Auto World. The entire staff worked together to make it as good as a new car purchase, but 1/2 the price.
