I came to review this place, because I love it. I get asked all the time where I buy my make-up. The staff is great! They never fail to ask if you have been helped or if they can help you find anything. They used to have a great associate that helped me find silicone based make-up. It is amazing. Either she no longer works here, or I missed her. Shame. She was totally great. The only person of color working there. They carry several major make-up lines. They also have salon services in back. They are huge on being clean & sanitary. They even have hand washing stations which is nice. Their store is very nicely kept. You wont find a bunch of damaged testers.Also, I think the manager thought I was a secret shopper, & she might get in trouble for something? I wanted to take some pictures to show how nice the store is & the services they have. I was approached & told they do not allow photos to be taken in store unless they are of yourself. I had NEVER been told this ever. No problems at all on my last visit. I went online to check to see if this was an actual policy of Ultas. Nowhere in the multiple places I checked for Ultas policies was anything posted regarding this at all. This is the only slightly negative experience I have ever had here. I normally buy a few hundred dollars worth of products when I make time to go in. I had a major trip to Vegas I was going to do reviews on. This time, I simply bought & walked out with a solitary bottle of primer. *Update* Not sure who Ultas Google manager is but they ended up letting every single one of my photos post to Google after review.

I purchased some skin care products that were not working on my skin and I had pay a good $100 on them, I looked up ulta return policy and I was just so happy that I was able to try other products and not being stuck with something that was hurting my skin type! I went to the store and Toriana was just so kind and made me feel comfortable with my return and encourage me to try different products and made recommendations. I felt so comfortable with Ulta return policy that I am not scare to spend more money because I know that if a product is not working on my skin I can try other products without loosing my money. I will forever be loyal to Ulta because their return policy shows me that they care about my skin and my business that as a customer I dont lose money but I can focus on taking good care of my skin. I ended up spending more money than my return, but I love that I am not scare to try new things because if they end up not working I can return them, but if they work my skin will thank me and I will be so satisfied with the results! Thanks Toriana for making me feel so comfortable and being so professional!

Staff was courteous, store was clean and well displayed. I was able to get what I needed and get out a lot quicker than going to a mall store.

Great experience. Staff greeted us but let us look around. When we had question, they were available and very knowledgeable about products. My teen daughter is now in love with this store.

They are wonderful. I wanted to try a new foundation and I broke out with it. They found something that works for me without causing me issues.

I placed an online order, and they never got back to me. I waited 2 hours before calling. They said they “must have not heard the notification.” Wasn’t that mad until I opened one of my products and saw that it had clearly been used.Do better :)

Im truly grateful for them,the lady that helped me was wonderful, I explained my situation and she was spot on, she helped me pick something for my allergies and I love the product she turned me on to,I will be back and recommend you try also!

My daughter and I visited this store today and were approached by an associate very quickly and was told the store is requiring masks. My daughter very quickly explained that I am ADA and can not communicate with those wearing a mask so she is my ears and lips. The associate walked away and we were then approached by a second associate whom repeated what the first lady said and we repeated ourselves and tried to explain that I cannot hear and the masks prevent me from communicating. Your associate continued to address me (who cannot understand her with a mask) and my daughter repeatedly asked her to stop addressing me since I cant hear her. She then asked us to leave the store since we wouldnt comply with her mask request. I have not encountered this at any other business and can promise that we will never shop at an Ulta Beauty again. Being completely humiliated because I have a disability is the last thing I should have to deal with.

I came in to start learning how to properly take care my face and skincare. The rep there was super helpful, and helped me in look for product and suggests other or cheaper alternatives for what i was looking for. She was very kind and sure of the productes she suggested to me. All around a good time.

Want a better deal on your favorite cosmetics, shampoos, theres hundred of great products here. brushes hair dryers makeup all kinds of little gadgets. Got a really super haircut here too and there very friendly helpful and very knowledgeable. Come here get your haircut you get your hair dyed you wont be disappointed is a super place to shop.

I LOVE shopping at Ulta. Their selections are wonderful and they have knowledgeable staff! However, I don’t like being followed around like I am going to steal or something! Maybe it was because I was carrying my purse, or maybe it was because I spent about 30 minutes in the store just looking around at all the brands- ultimately it made me uncomfortable because I was literally followed and checked on every couple minutes. I was disappointed to say the least, but I still love the store and maybe it was just the staff. I won’t hold is against the company!

My wallet was left on the top of my mother in laws car why I was getting my son out. We went to hallmark first and i was going to pay and realized i didnt have my wallet. Went to the car couldnt find it as soon as I realized it wasnt there I we t into panic.... thats when I hear my name coming from a ulta employee ( brittani Im sure I spelled it wrong I apologize) someone turned my wallet in and she was returning it. After that I had to go in. Im not a girly girl and never go in but I went in and everyone was so nice. I ended up finishing my christmas shopping and had a great experience.

First time visiting Ulta. Went on recommendation they have good products. Did some online research before going in. The store was clean and stocked. Three of the staff were chatting when we came in, looked at us and went back to chatting . Searched for item for 10 minutes before finding it myself. Then someone asked if I needed help. Mind you, there were maybe 7 customers in the store, all shopping on their own. The checkout cashier was the nicest, most attentive person we interacted with. As far as items purchased, it was exactly as the website said. If there wasnt shipping involved, Id skip the store altogether.

I think lessons in proper customer service are needed. It will not help the company‘s bottom line when employees talk down to customers.

ULTA in derby has some really good deals right now. The lady that helped my daughter and I was so great and knew exactly what we were looking for.

Today I went in to just kind of look. I found an item that was originally $79.00 but 90% off!! I had a coupon for $5 off of $10 so I found something to make it too $10 and went to check out. Unfortunately you couldnt use the coupon on clearance but the cashier Melissa (such an amazing girl shes so sweet!) Told me and worked with me and helped me find some things to where I could use the coupon. Im not sure how but she worked her magic and I used some points and my total was $5 and change. Melissa is awesome! I wish I could give her a bigger thank you than giving a review! Please give her something, she is wonderful! I felt like I was being a pain in the rear and I said sorry multiple times but Everytime she reassured me I was fine and that it was no problem and she had a really nice attitude! Thank you Melissa!!!

The place is always clean and extremely tidy, everything in its place and all shelves faced very well. The folks working there have always been very attentive without being intrusive. The product selection seems to span from economy models to high end specialty models in the appliances and they always have a good variety of brands/products in the other departments.

I made a same day appointment at the Derby KS in-store salon. Armando was my stylist. He is also the salon manager. He definitely lived up to his role! He was ready for me on time, I told him what I wanted (partial highlights) and he went to work! We had great conversation, and I love my hair! I will definitely be back!I am new to the Derby community, and have shopped at this store several times now. The entire staff is top notch!

I went in for a new perfume. The selection is good and the prices seem alright. I found a couple I liked was happy they had travel sizes so I can try them out before committing to a whole bottle.One of my pet peeves, though, is being repeated asked if I need help while browsing at a store. 4 staff people greeted and tried to engage me during my maybe 20 minutes in the store. Thats too much. And then it was disappointing to learn that the items I selected werent eligible for my coupon and that the free gift two of the employees told me to expect with my purchase they had actually run out of.

So thankful to have an ulta close. Was in wasting time daughter on a Saturday afternoon. Decided to try a match and Brooklyn helped me she was so sweet and did a wonderful job. She had it looking so good. Although after trying the sample again i dont think it was the perfect shade but she gave me hope!

Went to use my birthday gift card at ulta and decided to get my hair cut and styled, they paired me with Armando and from start to finish he really seemed to be concerned with getting the best results possible. i looked a mess when i walked in but great when i walked out! if you get a chance to get your hair done there you definitely will want to ask for Armando!

The ulta in derby is by far the best as far as everything goes! The store is immaculate, the testers are sanitary, the atmosphere is very professional, and the staff is so nice and extremely knowledgeable when being asked questions. I dont typically take the time to review places but this particular location is by far the best location Ive shopped at.

I was looking for a face scrub and 2 employees named off what they knew were the best recommendations for my skin type until I found a scrub I wanted. They even let me sample all of them and I ended up buying one, I ended up not liking how it reacted with my skin and they let me return it no questions asked! This is the greatest company, and the employees here are 100

I enjoyed visiting your store, but I felt very uncomfortable. I felt very out of place, I also did not find the products that I use. But thats okay. I need more advice about the kind of products that you have and what would be a good choice for me. But I didnt ask, again because I felt out of my element.

Nice store. I was surprised to see ALL the employees park in the closest spots by the door. I was over at PetCo and was waiting for the store to open. Most businesses make their employees keep those open for paying customers. Not a huge deal just an observation management might want to take a look at. Leave those for your customers!

My fiancé and I decided to go out and I decided I called to get my brows done. Alyssa told me at first that she was heading out the door and asked if I would reschedule for the next day. I love that you can swatch the make-up but I had to ask for a makeup remover towel and then instead of chatting me up followed me through the store as if I was gonna steal or something. I was dressed down but that shouldnt matter because each customer deserves service. I am coming back on payday to blow a couple hundred only if I get quality cust service.

Lemme preface, Im a guy, and I dont do makeup. That being said, anytime you need to hook a girl up, this is your ace in the hole. Gift cards to ulta are the new diamonds for women. Also - I went in here with chicks before, this is their equivalent of going to sports museum. They get excited about this shi*. Would recommend for birthdays, christmas, winning your ex back, and making your mom forget about you not calling on mothers day.
