The workers here have no respect for customers, absolutely awful customer service. You’re better off going to Amazon and guessing what you need then talk to one of the “ knowledgeable“ staff here. SMH, I’ll no longer be a customer here.

The people are helpful. But the prices are steep. Worth it if you want to support a local business. Couldnt find this product at home Depot, Bensons had a whole shelf of it.

We used to go to Home Depot but Bensons is so much better for so many different reasons. They have a great selection. Everyone that works there is eager to help and also knowledgeable.

This place is awesome! Local mom and pop hardware store that has nearly anything you could need....and if they dont have it on the shelf, they can get it in a couple of days. Their staff is amazingly knowledgeable!

Local business still delivering good customer service! Hours are small-town as well (even before Covid). Not cheap - but reliable and knowledgeable.

If you have $ to burn, by all means shop here.No contractor discount unless you have an account. I buy from multiple places w/o an acct. 1 gallon of paint was $58.99, I bought it for $48.99 at Queen city hardware. Rip off.

My son and I went here for Benjamin Moore paint and we had the worst experience. Not only was the paint clerk grumpy and didnt seem to want to help me, the paint matching system here is awful. I pick out a paint color and it would turn out that my specific paint couldnt be tinted that color. It was frustrating and I should have just gone to home Depot or Lowes. Ive never had a problem with paint matching or picking out a color there. This is not a quick trip and not the most female friendly store.Also as we were waiting by the paint counter an employee or a friend of an employee came over and was clearly coughing what sounded to be like a very wet sick cough. Im still very concerned about the coronavirus and to allow sick people in the store just seems irresponsible. I have a 2-year-old and I am expecting, the last thing I want to do is go pick up paint and catch the virus.

It never fails every time I go in there I always get help right away. And I have a bad back is always someone to help me put the stuff in my truck. So its nice at dealing with local home business.

Cash is a form of payment but you wont accept it currently. However you will allow your employees to touch a paper receipt and then hand it to the customer. Sorry but your brain isnt working.

Update 2.28.19: Ownership and management stepped up and did the right thing by refunding my money since they couldnt provide the product that I thought I was buying. Its clear that customer service is important to them.Original Review:Benjamin Moore makes their Regal Select paint in several different sheens including flat and matte. I showed the paint guy at the Derry store the tag from an old can of paint that I was trying to match. It clearly indicated flat paint, but I also said that I wanted flat at least twice. I didnt notice that he mixed up a quart of matte instead until the next day when I went to use it. I tried a small amount, but it was clearly different.I returned to Bensons to exchange it for the correct paint and the same paint guy then told me that they didnt have the flat, and that flat and matte are the same. I showed him the Benjamin Moore website which clearly showed two different products. All he kept saying was flat and matte are the same thing over and over despite the fact that Benjamin Moore says differently.I then requested a refund since he sold me a product that I did not request. He refused and continued to tell me they were the same, so I left a very unsatisfied customer.

Terrific staff, very helpful! They have nearly everything! Some items are a bit pricey but they are such a vital part of our community. I prefer to support local to Big Box stores.

I came in looking for a very specific bolt size and was pleased with the outstanding service I got. The two sales reps I spoke with were polite and knew what they were talking about. They helped me find the correct bolt, and I only paid around $2 for it.

Did not carry the breaker I needed. Needed a single pole 30 amp Siemens breaker. Only carried 15 and 20 amp. But wide assortment of others... Siemens is one of the most used along side square D.. makes no sense not to carry that.

Bensons has a great staff and wonderful selection of snowblowers, shovels, ice melt and so much more! Everything you need for the storm is here. Please shop local!

I have been going to Bensons for years. They have an excellent assortment of nuts bolts and screws. Without having to navigate the crowded aisles at Home Depot.

Just as expected. Had to get a few pieces of lumber to finish. When ordering the cashier said that all their building materials were available in 16 ft lengths only. What should have been $100 was $224 in the end.

Difficult parking, and most fasteners are loose unless they have too much stock to fill the loose bins, then you might be able to buy a box of screws or anchors if you search hard enough

My doors and windows for my house in 2013 were done by benson lumber. The rear slider given that understanding its a cheaper slider was put in all walked out and without a track for the screen. For three years I have tried to either have them sell me what I need to allow the screen to work or give me a price on a new door. No one will get back to me to save anyones life. The road guy came by several times a bout two years ago said what it needed and then he was a ghost. Stopped returning calls. I was just left with a screen that sits in the door frame and falls out if you push on it .The manager never called me back after speaking with him either. Now three years later still just send info to a different individual with thr tag with their name on the door for the specs . Two reach outs with no response. Being in construction I would never recommend dealing with the support from this company.
