Unfortunately Ive been buying a lot of flowers lately for funerals. Sandra on lower beaver is phenomenal to say the least. Shes so helpful and makes everything so easy. She even remembered who I was even though Ive only met her once. She pretty much takes care of everything. No reason to buy flowers anywhere else

I have used Bosen several times, I recently sent my partner some flowers as I am living in a different state now and they were absolutely beautiful. They are not cheap but worth every penny. Ive never actually called them and spoken to anyone but their online services have never failed me.

I ordered $100 bouquet for a Visitation (5:00 yesterday 3/31) and the funeral today which got delivered @ 4:55 yesterday I have the mother-in-law clock ringing in my ear to prove the delivery time. So, I went to ask the professionals there this morning before the funeral and asked if they felt this was a $100 bouquet, they did not and offered a 50% discount and a new bouquet I could take with me to the funeral which I did not except really?! a credit of $40 reduced to $60 total. Sorry guys, with Mom in the ear and the family guest list I walked in on Wednesday the damage was done before I even got to the visitation, I was not going to carry another one in this morning. However, I did see other nice arrangements there from Boesen with no dead flowers in them so I must of purchased must be a last batch special. Regardless, if anyone thinks this is a $100 bouquet, well, now a 50% off bouquet because I complained. Ill shut up.

Ordered flowers for Mothers Day the Monday prior for delivery that Wednesday. They had a Mothers day special which I ordered not knowing really what it was going to look like. It was absolutely beautiful, well done, and so very much appreciated. I placed my order by calling the flower shop directly, no issues with placing the order, they answered all of my questions, and were very pleasant. Thank you for making this a great experience!

I purchased 2 large planters for my nieces who were grieving the loss of their dad. What I paid for and what they received were not even close! Lisa was not at all helpful. She sent a second one to one of my nieces and it was fuller but still not close to what I paid for. Never using them again! Bosens use to be a gold standard Not anymore

Went there Tuesday morningTo pick up some flowers to cheer my wife up.The lady there in the morning went above and beyond. Arranged a special bouquet for my wife with all her favorite colors And was able to get it out that morning for deliver. high-five to Boesen. ✋

I was sold bad peonies that did not bloom and eventually turned brown. After trying to take them back to exchange for something else, I was told to continue waiting for them to open when it was obvious they were not going to. Needless to say, I won’t be back.Edit: had amazing customer service from the owner himself. Was not expecting that.

Very tight location backup into parking lot around canopy and tent unload in parking lot then trek thru green house into cooler restock on shelves you have to handle the boxes 3 to 4 different times to unload, but the owner is a very nice guy just wants everything right

Will never order flowers from this company again.I Ordered flowers for my grandmother in assisted living. With Covid-19, no one is allowed to visit. Thought delivering flowers from a large company like Boesen would have been trust worthy to get the job done.Ordered online. Had a confirmation email they would be delivered by Mother’s Day. Lisa from the Des Moines store left me a message at 2 PM telling me the order would not be delivered and was cancelled. All the while being charged the full amount.I called back and talked to a someone who said he “thinks” it can be delivered on Monday, the following day. Told me he’d call me back to confirm, was never called back. Was then charged an additional full amount...This same day, I emailed Lisa, with no response from her, asking what the status/delivery date and remedy was going to be made for the 2 charges and lack of delivery. Again, no response.I called Tuesday, 2 days after the delivery was supposed to be made. She informed me it would happen by the end of the day today. I asked what was going to be done to remedy the $$ situation. She said she could give me 50% off for my troubles. Then an additional 50% was charged to my card...I have been charged a total of $201.35.Not happy. Will never order from Boesen again. Will not recommend to anyone. Very disappointed.

I just had to leave a review to comment on the phenomenal customer service of Boesen. The bouquet I ordered for my girlfriend was received slightly damaged and the package it came in was damp from water spillage, overall just looked like it was weathered. I called Boesen the following day and explained what had happened and they delivered a fresh bouquet no questions asked. I’d definitely come back here again the next time I’m looking for a gift for a loved one.

Ordered a bouquet through 1-800 Flowers on the 14th, scheduled for delivery today (02/18). A bouquet was delivered the same day I placed the order, but it had the wrong selection of flowers (Floral Embrace as listed on 1800s site; my main priority was a bouquet with sunflowers).The card attached to the delivery did say February 18, so that part of the order was definitely relayed. However, what especially rubbed me the wrong way was a notification I received this afternoon, saying the florist had _just_ delivered the bouquet.The flowers themselves were nice, but they were neither what I ordered, nor did they arrive when I ordered them. Part of the issue may have been using a third-party provider to place the order, but it seems like there were still communication issues once the order was submitted through Boesen.

Recently the daughter called Boesens from Saudi Arabia to order tulips for the wife’s birthday. With a phone call to me for an Ankeny contact, they cleared up any possible problems. Flowers were delivered beautifully. Just wanted to say thanks for the extra care and attention given.

Ordered flowers for a birthday, Boesen confirmed the order which per their website should be considered confirmation of delivery on that day. The flowers were not delivered that day, nor was I contacted. Only the next day was I informed that they needed additional address information. When I called them back they said they found the information and would make the delivery today. A day late on a birthday delivery isnt good enough.

The kind of professional service you expect from such a well-respected local business. I didnt worry about the quality of the arrangements for our fundraising event, even though it was my first time ordering from them. Delivery was smooth and timely.

Quick and efficient with a huge selection

Flowers were just as I ordered but the attention to detail is lacking. I ordered the flowers on 10/18 to be delivered on 10/19 on my girlfriends birthday. I got confirmation that the order was placed and it said right on the confirmation a delivery date of 10/19. The flowers delivered on 10/18 the day before her birthday so a big let down for me to surprise her the day of her birthday. Good product bad execution will not use again.

Great place! Whether I stop by or call in the staff here is very helpful. I dont know a lot about flowers but they put me at ease and my lady is always complimented on how good the florist did. Often I call them in the morning and they get my flowers delivered that afternoon.Pro Tip - Flowers are half price on Friday so stop in and have them whip you up a bouquet of stems and save some coin (or double the size)!

Boesen is now my florist for life. Ive used many different floral delivery companies throughout the years but Boesens service is the absolute best. Most recently, a dear friend of mine lost her beloved dog to old age. I was not able to visit her but sent some flowers in my absence. Boesen had quick same-day delivery options. They delivered the flowers and were very sweet to my friend in her grief. Im thankful that a friendly person was there for her when I could not be.

Always check to see if loose stems are bogo, its a great way to make a personalized bouquet using things you picked specifically. The Stams chocolates are always heavenly as well. Used this location for everything from a dear friends wedding bouquet to just for having a fun display for my kitchen table and the flowers are always beautiful.

Excellent service. They accommodated me in last minute moment on a busy holiday evening. They could have easily told me no but they didnt and delivered a great product in a timely manner.

Great flowers, but lousy customer service.Called Boesen today concerned that my wifes flowers hadnt been delivered as of 2 pm (order placed two weeks prior) and actually had it suggested to me that requesting delivery the day before or after Valentines Day was smarter given the high volume of deliveries on 2/14. Kind of defeats the purpose.The female associate with whom I spoke, talked OVER me and argued to a minor degree... something I simply cannot stand.Flowers were delivered with the vase overfilled with water, causing spillage all over my wifes office. Fortunately, the arrangement itself does look fantastic.

Spent almost 100 bucks on a SUNFLOWER bouquet and received them today...not a single sunflower. I didnt receive a phone call or anything, so now Ive thrown away money on something that isnt close to what I ordered. Really awesome, I wish I could rate lower than 1

Excellent! No words! Called fr Cedar Rapids and ordered a flower arrangement for dinner at 801 Chophouse. Arrived on time, wife loved the flowers, display, and presentation. Still healthy and beautiful a week later. Asked Bosen to use their creativity and something that could be carried and brought home. Home Run!!!! I purchased two carnations from this floral shop on Wednesday to my sister in the hospital and she received them on Thursday which is fine but she said they looked horrible and i saw them today and they are about dead already!! I have ordered from many flower shops and never had this problem!! I spent over $17 on them so i wasted my money! Never again will i order from you!!

Ordered flowers for a funeral. Noticed they never arrived. Called the next day. They admitted the arrangement was never made, let alone delivered. Pretty disappointed. What if we were not there, and never knew?

I have ordered Bosens for gifts to be delivered many times and have been extremely satisfied. The flowers always look great. I ordered a bouquet for my mothers birthday, online and was called to ask if I would like it delivered that same day (which I did, as it was her birthday) and it was delivered before 5pm, even thought they have a 24 hour policy. Every person I have spoken with was through and respectful. I will use Bosens in the future.

Way over charged for a centerpiece when I called in an order, then I called to ask why I was charged so much and was treated very rudely. Told I would get a refund and my card was charged again for a different amount, no refund!!! Becareful giving your credit card information to this company a hassle to undo a debit card charge.

The flowers where pathetic. It didnt have any of the flowers like in the picture or the same color scheme like in the picture. This was not worth $40. I would have been better off going and buying flowers at walmart.

Dont even deserve a half star. Very poor customer service. My daughter had a bouquet sent to me yesterday. She lives in Florida I in Altoona Iowa. They delivered and placed them outside the front door and left. Was very hot yesterday. No water in the vase and flowers were all wilted. She called this morning and they apologize also deliver a new one to my work place Sams Club. The delivery guy slams them on the desk says who theyre for and I aint taking them back! Second one is just as bad. Im taking both to their store slamming then on their counterparts and say Want my money back!

Doesnt clean up after they are done with event. No other vendors just leave there debris all over venue

Flowers were delivered yesterday for my birthday. Half of them are dead today. The vase was too small and crushed the stems, the water was really dirty and they were delivered with no packet to extend their life.It was hard to make the woman on the phone understand the vase was too small...she kept saying flowers are unpredictable. Yes they certainly are but in this case they were handled improperly by florists. Im not a florist and I know better than to crush the stems.They are replacing the flowers today....I would not be surprised if they were replaced by a smaller arrangement in the same vase. I dont think this shop understands that flowers are usually a gift or for a special occasion...dead flowers take all the joy out of getting flowers.I just want them replaced before my husband sees them....because he would be really disappointed that his gift was not wonderful.

Boesen on Ingersoll did all the flowers for our wedding, and they were breath stoppingly beautiful. Surpassed my expectations, very friendly and helpful to work with. The flowers used were bird of paradise, orange protea, mango calla lily, blue hydrangea, and a few others. Highly recommended.

My order was $95 and they didnt even get the right flowers or the vase to my mother. Will not be doing business with you again.

They were very apologetic when my husbands wake bouquet had so many dead flowers that many had to be removed before the funeral. They offered to provide me a replacement or plant. I wanted a simple knock out rose as my husband loved ours and always took pictures. They didnt carry any...long time later I agreed to Dick Clark rose bush. It didnt survive the winter. WARNING THEY DONT GUARENTEE ROSE BUSHES FOR A YEAR LIKE EARL MAY AND EVEN MENARDS. :(
