I bought a certified 2018 Volvo S90 T6 here a year ago and had the first actual service for 30k miles done today. I generally get a bit nervous about taking my car in and the maintenance that it may need, however it has been different. I worked with Sanin Sinanovic and he is the reason why I feel like today was a success. He was very honest and transparent. I felt he went above and beyond with answering my questions like a Polestar upgrade and he has a sense of urgency about everything from getting me a shuttle to the delivery of my car to my house. Value for service is reasonable and Sani simply genuinely cares and doesnt mess up. Great work.
Don Hayes (and the entire Volvo team) consistently provide exemplary customer service. Truly across all industries, I do not believe I have experienced more thoughtful or patient customer service. He and his team make having my vehicle serviced a joy - not an easy feat.
Fabulous business, very polite & knowledgeable employees. Highly recommend you check them out when you are in need of a new auto!
I cant express how happy I was with my Willis experience. I was treated respectfully by everyone I encountered. My salesman Anthony Perry was without a doubt, one of the funnest, funniest sales reps I have ever worked with. He was honest and upfront on everything we discussed and made sure I was getting everything I wanted in a new car. He is a huge asset to Willis Automotive. He spoke very highly of how great the company was to work for and he felt like Willis was his career home for a long time to come. That speaks volumes to me.Matt in finance made sure we talked through all the paperwork and of course Bill was the best at setting up my car and making sure I knew how to use all the cool new technology that was now at my fingertips in my new Volvo. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a new car!
I scheduled a oil change and to sit wait for 40 minutes to an hour. I showed up on time and waited at least 10 minutes while no one even greeted me. Marcel finally came over. I began talking with him about the oil change. He had no idea what type of oil my volvo takes. I asked him how much it would be for the oil change, he could not give me an answer. He said it depended on the oil and he didn’t know what volvo recommended for it. He walks off and leaves for a few minutes. In the meantime, I watch them video record another car to confirm they didn’t do the damage. I then go to my car and look up what is recommended for oil. I tell him a synthetic blend, he says we don’t carry that. Only basic oil and synthetic. I asked him a couple more times how much, he finally says around $100 for the basic oil not synthetic which my car doesn’t take! He then proceeded to tell me it would be at least a 2 hour wait because they had 2 people call out today, and he offers a loaner vehicle. I said okay. He then proceeds to ask me questions about anything else wrong with the vehicle almost searching for a way to raise the bill. He leaves for another few minutes. He comes back with my paperwork, tells me to sign and doesn’t explain what I am signing. It felt off so I began to read. He was going to charge me for the loaner car! That was the final straw! I walked out! Horrible customer customer experience! They screw up and try to charge me! Honestly felt like he was going to screw me over because I was girl! If you are woman go elsewhere! Find an honest mechanic! I love my volvo and have for 7 years but I will drive to another dealer for major service work! Refuse to be treated like that!
Terrible customer service every time, we are done and will continue to drive to Gorges Volvo in Omaha for service. My wife set appointment for 7:15 AM so we dropped the car the night prior just to check a warning light that came on. They call at 3:30 PM to say it’s just a computer issue, needs 2 hours, ok fix it we say and then ask we will have it back today right?! We will sure try, nope, call at 5 and say can’t get it done, my wife asks what the point was of making appointment and the excuses come rolling, whatever we can live; they deliver our car back at 1:30 PM, good thing my wife didn’t need to leave the house. Oh they also said we needed a new air filter which I had just changed myself 2 months prior so another example of an unnecessary service. We will never go back, not even for a warning light. I’m not sure why the Lexus service is on point and Volvo so terrible but I assume it’s leadership.
Called about updating map data on my 9-year-old Volvo XC60, waited on the phone for a long time, but did not get anyone to answer my question. The front desk asked for my number, promised to call back, but they never did. I decided to get a GPS instead.
Good service, employees were very friendly, and helpful.
The service advisor, Kevin Sargent did a phenomenal job in getting me back on the road. My XC60 was towed in on Wednesday night and I was in continuous contact with Kevin. By 12 Noon Thursday, my starter was replaced and I was on the road by 1PM. Kevin is an excellent communicator and did an outstanding job! Thanks for your help!!
Salesperson Austin Parks is highly recommended for your car needs. Willis Volvo is delivering my new car tomorrow! He worked with us for one year to be certain we found the right car! Kurt Larson was extremely helpful teaching us all the bells & whistles! Great experience
Smiling and friendly people.
My wife just picked her XC60 up
Best dealer in Iowa Thank you Brian Clark the best
Went in to grab a few parts to my 2002 Volvo S80 T6 that Im working on for my daughter and got some insight into what Im in for as a bonus.I wasnt exactly excited about the news I got, but it will definitely help me as I go about my repairs.
No pressure was put on us. Sales force was attentive to our needs and insured that we had answers to our questions. Price was acceptable. Dealership was immaculately clean with excellent amenities. Delivery process was enjoyable and the car operation orientation was thorough. The courtesy shown us was exemplary. This was the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had.
Willis Volvo and Todd Lee provided me with the easiest and most fun car buying experience I have ever had! I will definitely buy from them again in the future.
Our sales person Nathan was very well informed and not at all pushy. He took the time to listen to our needs and wants and showed us several cars that he thought would be a good fit. We fell in love with a Volvo XC90! The rest of the staff was great and the delivery process was smooth, efficient and informative.
I really appreciated how Don explained everything, was engaged in the conversation & listened to my concerns! What a great guy!!
So far, so good. We took our Volvo in for repairs thinking we would have to rent a car to use while it was getting repaired. They not only offered a Loaner car but offered to Pick up, bring us a loaner and deliver our car back once its repaired.
Todd Speck was the salesman and he made the difference in our final purchase decision. We had visited three other dealers - narrowed our choices to a BMW X5, Audi Q7 and the Lexus (another Willis dealership that was impressive too) - but in the end, all were comparable - more or less - but it was how we were treated by the staff at Willis Volvo.Frankly, had it not been for the experience at one of the dealers, we wont have finished up our car shopping at Volvo - we were ready to buy but the other dealers sales manager didnt impress us - Im convinced that he didnt think we were ready to buy or perhaps were capable of buying the particular model. We were ready to buy but in the end we were left with the impression that he was indifferent to our interest. What a difference with the Willis staff - professional, courteous, attentive and respectful - valued our time and listened to us, and were extraordinarily patient in our questions. In the end, it was the vehicle that we enjoyed but got there because of the Willis staff and Todd Speck.
DO NOT service your car here and if you have to avoid Dan Berry at all costs. I came in with my tires out of balance and needing an alignment. This ended up costing me 1,000 dollars .. I didn’t argue because my car was shaking pretty bad so I deemed it necessary. I was told my car had a plethora of problems, unrelated to the shaking in the front so I decided not to service those other things such as my timing belt. Dan insisted i fix these things but I didn’t have the money.. so I ended up getting my car fixed and the shaking went away for about 2 days. Then a whole NEW sound started happening in the front of my car around the brand new tires I got from Volvo. I was very irritated and upset because I thought spending a 1,000 dollars on your car would eliminate problems for more than 2 days. Either way I returned to Volvo about 2 months later (I couldn’t any earlier because I go to school in Omaha) when I returned I thought my 3,000 mile warranty would cover these costs but Dan informed me they would not be doing any REPEAT work for free. Dan also tried to tell me this would happen because I didn’t service something he told me to, however I checked ALL of our messages that he sent to me that let’s you see exactly what’s wrong and the price. BUT, the messages revealed that he never said anything about it. When I called Dan Berry out on this he said “I mentioned it over the phone” which is clearly a lie because he sent me EVERYTHING I needed to know through the messages. And now he wanted me to pay another 1,000 dollars as a very low income college student. All in all I will never do service with Volvo again and I will direct anyone I know with a Volvo, Jaguar, Range Rover, etc. to never do work with them either.
Awesome experience. Go see Nathan, he will treat you with respect and earn your business. Will buy from them if and when we need another car but we dont expect that anytime soon after buying a XC90 with extended warranty
Great sales staff nice lineup of car lines.
HORRIBLE!!! I called for an appointment on Wednesday for car troubles on a trip down from Minneapolis and was told the earliest was 7:30AM Thursday. By then my car wouldn’t start and I was towed. After 2 nights in Des Moines and countless phone calls by myself and excuses from Willis Volvo and nearly $400 bill, I had my car fixed at 2 PM Friday. No respect from service for a stranded Volvo driver. Willis Volvo gives Des Moines a bad name!
Ease of on-line scheduling, work done correctly, vehicle washed and ready when promised.
Everything from Start to Finish. The experience was so exceptional that I took the time to email the General Manager to express my satisfaction.
Awesome very Great Service
