I had an amazing experience here. It was my first time buying a car as I need one since I no longer live at home. Both Sam and Christian did an amazing job talking me through all the processes. They were very transparent and told me what was wrong or what wasn’t wrong with a car I was interested in, the pros and cons of a certain model, etc. I knew exactly what I was getting for the price I was paying. They work really well with working with your budget and making sure you’re able to successful get a car that lasts awhile. I definitely recommend shopping here and if not here, at least stop by!

I bought my Chevy Silverado 3500 HD a few months back from Christian Onofre that works at Truck City Inc. First, I was told that there were no cosmetic issues and that was a lie. When I went to go look at it the entire truck bed was completely unpainted and scratched up, and there are several dents and dings on the truck. I left that alone because I really needed this truck to start my towing company and the dents werent huge. Since I bought the truck I have felt the steering wheel get stuck as I turn and the first few times it was just a light feeling that I chucked up to being the way the tires are installed on the truck and their size. Over time its been getting progressively worse to the point where I turned one day recently when at a shopping center and it got stuck so bad that I almost ran directly into another vehicle because my truck didnt want to turn. Thankfully it did turn enough at the last moment where I barely avoided hitting the other vehicle.Not only was I not sure what was going on and was wondering if I should call Truck City Inc. about it or not, I have also been extremely busy working full time, and getting my towing business up and running. I couldnt find the information I needed to called Truck City Inc. (Im not very phone savvy either) but my wife helped me find the entire conversation I had with Chris on Facebook messenger that I had archived. I finally call them last week and was told that Chris wasnt there but hed call me back. Of course, that never happened so I called again earlier today and got to speak with Chris. He basically told me tough luck, and sue him if I want to. So I will definitely be looking into that.Please be careful when doing business with this company, most specifically with Christian Onofre. Its sad that people are ok with lying. Especially about something that can cause a terrible accident such as a faulty steering wheel.

This is my experience buying from Truck City... to save you time, DON’T DO IT!In October 2020 we bought a 2012 Mini-Cooper Clubman S that was $3500... after fees (no financing, purchased outright) it cost just over $5500. Chris, the Owner/Manager told us that they had a mechanic go over it and that it needs break pads in the front and struts, which he said was the cause of the clunking sound we heard every time we hit so much as a pebble during the test drive and that for $200, he’d take care of it. We agreed and paid... now the nightmare begins. We took the car home as we waited for parts as their repair didn’t fix the issue ($350, not $200). The car sat in the Garage until Christmas when I tired to start it and put it into the driveway as a surprise gift for my son... it would not start. I had to put it on jumper cables for 4 hours just to get it to turn over as the battery charger could not charge it and the jump box failed as well. I ended up limping it to Mini of Des Moines where I found out that it needed $10,000 in repairs!! Well more than the worth of the car and twice what I ended up paying for it! Chi’s admitted that he wasn’t honest about the work that needed to be done and offer to repair it for only the cost of parts, no markup, no labor. This he said would be less than $2000. I reluctantly agreed and 4 MONTHS later, I got the car back... the cost was $1650...on top of the $350 already paid. I got the car home last night... they’ve had it since January when the towed it from Mini. On the way home, it says that the front breaks are worn (supposedly fixed when I payed the $350) and that there’s a low oil pressure warning... the error says that driving the car is no longer possible. So that’s $1650 to get back a car that is just as bad... it doesn’t clunk though, so they get 1 star instead of the zero they earned.

Looked at a 2001 Saturn Vue and informed them we were coming from out of town. Did not disclose the fact that the speedometer was inoperable (it is illegal to sell a car w/o a speedometer). Lied to my face when they said we didnt know that. I can read body language very well and I trust my gut. I am glad I walked away.

Went there with a car that was not able to run without over heating every ten minutes and I needed a car the very next day to get to work with and they helped me quick and fast. They went over and beyond by texting me to keep me updated on the car I wanted over hours, Christian is awesome and really got me a car I love and enjoy just in the first week of having it I got it checked out and everything’s is amazing and runs perfect! ❤️ Don’t take these guys for granted they will help you get a car that you need.

Straightforward folks at Truck City. They dont beat around the bush and know the cars they are selling. We were looking for a car for our daughter who just recently got her license and we were able to get her a fun little 2007 Mini Cooper that she fell in love with.We were in and out within an hour and knowing they werent blowing smoke up my rear, made the experience how I like it, short and to the point.If you want a no-nonsense, straightforward car buying experience, Truck City is the place to go.

I drove 4 Hours one way, truck wasn’t as advertised, was dirty, but he worked with me on the price so the overall experience was goodBought 2015 Gmc duramax, no problems after about 2 months so far4 stars

I visited Truck city to test drive a toyota prius. I stay at a place 30 mins away. I had to request a friend to drive me. I spoke with a person there and he asked if I had financing options already set up. I told him that I did not and was looking at a few more vehicles before I made my decision. Instantly he said that we cannot test drive it because there are other parties who are interested. We had communicated earlier on facebook and I expressed my desire to test drive it. He allowed us to sit in the car and examine the interior and the exterior  but did not allow is to take it for a test drive. Weird experience.

Bought a 2010 Chevy Colorado, been extremely happy. They were easy to work with and very friendly. Especially under the circumstances. I would definitely buy again form here

Will not buy from Truck City after the negative experience I had today. Website said they were closed on Saturday, but stopped by anyway to check out a vehicle I was interested in purchasing for my daughter. Pulled in behind the vehicle, jumped out, and started looking over the jeep. A young guy came out to ask me to move my truck. Was surprised when they said they were open and told him so. Then out of no where an old guy starts yelling from the office about where I was parked. He bolted out towards me yelling about me touching his vehicle and parking in the middle of his lot. I tried to apologize and ask about the jeep he had for sale. He proceeded to get in my face, still yelling, saying he has people stealing from him, blah blah blah! Dude you just lost a sale! Try talking to your potential customers instead of treating people like something you stepped in. Wouldn’t refer anyone to this place.

Originally, i came to look at a 2008 yellow mini cooper clubman. they just so happened to have a 2009 yellow mini cooper clubman in the garage, which was in far better condition. the ordeal only took about an hour. it was quick, to the point, and with no BS. they create a personable experience as well. this 2009 yellow mini cooper clubman is the new LOML and worth spending more than i had originally planned on. thank y’all for this absolute beaut and for keeping things concise! :)

Horrible customer service I would not recommend this place to anyone. I spent over $150 checking the car with carfax and having a mechanic look at it and the owner would not even speak to me on the phone for more than 5 minutes. He said he could only take cash and cant take other forms of payment. To top it off I found that there were numerous problems with the car that would cost over $1000 to fix this was after I did a diagnostic with Firestone. Be very careful with this seller you can loose a lot of money.
