The staff are always very kind at the Ingersoll location. A good spot for meetings, clean and quiet. The rewards points get you free drinks if youre a regular visitor.Prefer the variety available at a Starbucks over Caribou, but I think Caribou is a better coffee shop for those who prefer a limited menu with tasty (sugary) drinks.

Quick coffees was delicious 😋and what we order was prepared correctly and very fastidious.The barista was very polite and had a nice warm smile. As well as making eye contact with me which I greatly appreciated.Very professional.

I always order online at least 20 mins before it just gets so busy but its understandable because Im there at like 745an. But I have never had an issue with my order and everyone is always nice 🙂

I absolutely love caribou but unfortunately will be avoiding, twice now I have asked for coconut milk and receive milk in my drinks. As someone who is extremely sensitive to lactose, I had to spend today feeling sick to my stomach. The second to last time I asked the lady at the window to double check if it was coconut milk and she responded, stating they were three drinks in (being made) and would look at look at her weird if she asked. She assured me by saying ‘ I have my best people on today. ‘ No issue with that beverage so I felt ok coming back today- but like stated I’ve been absolutely sick today. 😫 Just be careful if you can’t have dairy at this location!

The crafted press at this location is literally undrinkable. I’ve had them dozens of times at other locations and each time I’ve given this one a chance I had to dump it out.

My favorite is the hot crafted press with half flavoring... If you like regular coffee with just a little something extra, you should try this!!! Yummy 😋

Flying Js Trucker Sandwiches w/ Fly Water! Umm...!Just ordered a high rise, hot chocolate, and a water, for my drinks and 1 out of the 3 was sufficient! And nope wasnt the water either! To start the high rise was a 60⁰ room temp reminding me of drinking table water that has been out all day. If its to be a cold drink then it should be that cold not luke warm simply cause its cold outside! If its ordered has a hot drink then it should be at least to the temperature that sipping is how you must start the drink off. Not a chugging 3day old backpack drink temperature. Has for the rest of the drinks the hot chocolate was good and my daughter enjoyed it, thank god, her water on the other hand was not! The water had a fly stuck to the inside of the lid! How this could be considering the middile of wintering iowa is usually cold enough to put down any flying insect outside or inside and if youve got insects flying around your joint at the end of December then youve got a major infestation or your pulling your cups out of the trash to reuse them! No reason this should ever be experienced! After this I was definitely leery of trying my Turkey bacon spinach and swiss cheese, (on a hamburger bun) sandwhich, but seeings how I eat most lunches from a gas station, while Im at work, Ive had some sub-par sandwiches to say the least. So it couldnt be that bad. Wrong! It was two chews and a ah-chew spit! The thing had to of been from a Flying-Js freezer! It resembled nothing like the picture. Granted they rarely do but this was just a hamburger bun microwaved and garnished with some cheese and frozen spinach and middle of the grocery isle pre-cooked bacon! Save your self the agony, and skip this joint on your next coffee stop!

Raspberry green bubble tea. Try it., its addictive. The squares in it are tapioca. Although.. the best bubble tea I ever had was Chinatown Chicago.

This is a great little spot to do business. I have had several business meeting here and it is has been great! Nice place. Double sided fireplace. Plenty of tables and chairs. Accommodating staff. Good place to catch up between sales calls. It is 3:30 and I wanted a mild coffee. She had me sample the only coffee being brewed at this time. Too strong. But she added water and cream. Worked out fine. Compfy place to veg ...solo or with friends.

Im not much of a coffee drinker, but I love Caribous coffee. They also have a lot of other drink options that are great, as well as great food. The atmosphere is great, makes a perfect place to hang out and/or do some work

This Caribou has been a mainstay in our community and the Ingersoll neighborhood for years. The baristas are friendly and make everything right the first time. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and warm. I love this place for hanging out solo or meeting a friend for a warm cup of coffee or tea.

Great alternative to Starbucks! Most coffee shops has good coffee (its all Arabica beans nowadays), but few have all day breakfast (++), decent prices, good hours, bike-friendly, and outdoor seating, which is awesome during airborne-transmissible respiratory pandemics. Good coffee and great atmosphere for getting work done. The place has ample outlets and tables for getting work die or meeting up with a few friends. Its close enough to downtown to stop in before work or on lunch break while being just enough away to not be constantly fighting for parking and seating.

They have some good coffee and hot coco. and if u dont feel like drinking something like coffee, they also have different types of pops and waters that u can get. They also have things that u can eat too

Love this place my favorite are the frozen and iced drinks. Campfire drink is the best. Ask for extra marshmallows best way to do it.

I love Caribou coffee, but the customer service at this one is terrible. My order was wrong, which happens, I get it, no problem. When it happens, I never ask for my money back. But the lady working at 1:15 on 10/30 (name starts with an M, couldnt read her name tag written in chalk) was very rude. I asked if the Mocha she yelled out was for me. She rudely said, l dont know, I dont get a NAME. I explained that Im allergic to cocoa and she rolled her eyes and said, that must have been HER fault, referring to lady running the registers. No apology. I left feeling disrespected, and really disappointed because Caribou coffee tastes awesome. I think Ill be going to Scooters from now on. Equally good and better service there.

Minus stars for me. When I entered the building. The employees were nice and greeted me. They asked what I would like and I then noticed another customer walking around with a small dog on a leash with a dog dish. No not a service dog. I told the employee I would need to leave because of the dog. His sarcastic reply was ok with a laugh. As I walked away the gentleman with the dog walked to the counter were the same kid went out of his way to comment how great is dog was. Dont plan on going back.

After searching for a cup of coffee and finding just about every establishment closed or closing (@ 6:00 pm on a Friday night) I came across Caribou Coffee. They close at 10:30. Yes! Very good customer service. Quick. Excellent service. Fast! Prices are comparable. Will visit again.

Great coffee shop. Its a chain but has one of the most enjoyable atmospheres that Ive experienced in a coffee shop. Im not a big fan of the over sweetness of some of their drinks like the chai tea latte, but a regular late there is good.

Love coming to this location. Connor and Kaycee are a great team. They are always friendly and great to talk to. It’s like a work marriage, that’s how well they seem to work together. Will return. Always great coffee!!

I get the same thing every time. Turtle mocha cooler with milk chocolate. Supposed to have caramel and cookie something toppings. Only real way to make sure you get more than one little piece is ask for extra that costs more. Their worst day is better than Starbucks any day. Will still go there for my coffee fix.

Drive thru. Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte. Delicious. Next time Ill request a little less syrup. Still tasty! Drive thru staff were super nice and sincere. One thing I was disappointed about for the sake of the business is that there were lots of overgrown weeds,,etc outside. The building is old and doesnt look great itself but if the landscaping was cut, clear and tidy the whole place wouldnt be an eyesore. The great service and great drinks will bring me back to this location regardless of the outer appearance.

Its a great place to go, just to listen to people Converse and laugh. When youre a home body its nice to get out. And it help to get your hormones pumping looking at the nice looking men that come in for their cup of joe.

My husband comes here every morning that we visit our son in Des Moines. He just sits and enjoys the coffee and people watching. The staff is always friendly and ready to please. The negative is that it looks to be rarely cleaned. We will see food on the floor from the day before. I dont think the chairs have ever been wiped down as there is dried coffee drips on leather furniture. An easy fix for those quiet times.

Love me some Caribou coffee. Visit the one in Duluth if you are ever up that way.

This Caribou is a great location in the metro. My only gripe here is the Internet speeds. Seems like its always a bit slow. This coffee shop does have a nice ambiance however. The people here are always nice to deal with.

The Ingersoll Ave. location is a cozy spot. The coffee is always fresh and tasty. They have snacks and breakfast sandwiches. Predictably, there are the usual laptop denizens, so finding a table could be tough when its busy.

Pretty decent for a chain coffee shop. There are a few vegan snack bar options, which is nice, and theres a great room that can be reserved for events or meetings.

I would like to recommend this place to everyone, great for single dinning or group, they have COFFEE AND COFFEE DRINKS, TEAS, ICED TEA, POP AND JUICES,THEY SERVED BREAKFAST,PASTRIES. WHEEL CHAIR ACCESSIBLE, AND HAVE VEGAN OPTIONS. THE CLEANLINESS IS GREAT AND THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL

This Caribou has a no charge meeting room that you can reserve. They ask that you acquire a gift card or buy a drink generally which I find to be a very reasonable request.All in all, nice chain coffee shop with solid ambience and a pretty cool fireplace / rustic decor.

Love, love, love The Bou!!! My go to coffee spot in Des Moines. 10 times better than Starbucks! Love their sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. Nice relaxing atmosphere. They also have really good smoothies and fruit parfaits.

Has a large seating area with a fireplace. Good amount of room for reading or studying. Cozy chairs too.

Cashier was rude. When I asked for a specific flavor combo normally identified as a milky way he looked at me rolled his eyes and then said we dont have that. So I asked what flavors they had; and they have the ones to make a milky way. But when I asked for that combo; the cashier refused, and kept correcting me, and pausing with his mouth agape.

Wonderful place to talk with friends, by the window or the fire, great ambience. Plenty of drinks and snacks, ranging from super sweet and chocolaty, to a nice mango black ice tea, unsweetened. Glad I finally went today.

Nice drink selection, a few tasty treats, and the staff are always friendly. The atmosphere at this location is always welcoming and I enjoy the layout. They also have a conference room, free to reserve.

Love their sparkling peach black tea in the summer and the hot cinnamon spice tea in colder weather. My only complaint is there is not a Caribou closer to my home in Johnston, Iowa.

Lately, it seems their coffee is burnt or completely the wrong order. I ordered a campfire mocha today and received something with mint in it. I didnt have time to go back and request a new one nor did I feel like being that customer to gripe. However, its been a more frequent thing that I figured Id just post a review. Hopefully this is just a phase with their baristas doing so poorly.

This used to be a morning staple in our commute to work, but recently there has been a lack of good customer service. We also have brought up the driveway causing cars to bottom out in the drive thru resulting in scratches.... its been almost a year and no fixes or even an attempt to fix it has been done.
