5/19 Update: I received my PC this morning! I just want to say, although this process made me a bit skeptical, my PC arrived unscathed and ready to roll. I had an issue on my end with an HDMI chord but it was at no fault of CobraType. The PC was shipped with a lot of stuffing for protection and the box was in good condition. The keyboard and mouse that was included arrived in a box that looked like it went through hell but both items worked so it didnt affect the functionality. I plan to buy a different set however, I am just not a fan of these but they will definitely do the job.The PC is beautiful! Everything works and looks very well put together. I would like to say thank you to those who are working hard to keep up with the volume of orders. Especially to do that during a pandemic and still have reasonable processing time is astounding. There are things that I do feel could be addressed but overall I am very happy and would do business with CobraType in the future! THANK YOU!5/13 Update: My PC has been in a completed and shipped state since May 4 and was expected to arrive May 7 but I have no received anything. This is beginning to get frustrating and I would appreciate some kind of update at the least.Keeping in mind that the nation is undergoing a pandemic, it seems as though a huge spike in gaming devices has increased sales. I can understand the pressure CobraType is facing. I too have been experiencing a huge spike in sales so I am doing my best to remain patient.As a customer, I am feeling a bit weary. The day I bought the PC I kicked myself in the rear-end and wished I had gone thru NeweEgg or Ebay, as they have an extremely high rating via Ebay. That actually helped ease my mind a bit. The CobraType website is very vague. Coming from a company that builds PCs, Id expect a little more effort and functionality from the website. I decided to send an email with a few questions and although it took a day to respond, I still got a response. I had tried to call the company a couple times as well but got no answer, though there is an updated voicemail, which again, was reassuring.As of my personal order, I placed it April 30 and recieved a shipping notification May 4. The tracking information states that my order is expected to arrive May 7 (3 days) but I highly doubt that based off reviews and the fact that FedEx has not received the PC for shipment, only the label had been created. Again, as a small business owner, often times I too practice preparing labels to better keep track of orders so that MAY be the case.For anyone who is reading this as a customer, I hope that any of these reviews do not shy you away from buying small. MANY businesses are under a lot of scrutiny especially with the impact of COVID-19. If anyone from CobraType happens to read this, I hope you do not take this review as a derogatory or negative view of your company but just some input on my personal experience and maybe an idea for adjustments down the road.Overall, I have already been charged for the PC and dont doubt that CobraType will follow through. However, it is a bit frustrating to deal with especially with the price tag. One cant help but have the thought of a possible scam in the back of their mind. If you opt to go with CobraType I would recommend shopping NewEgg or Ebay so at least youll have something to fall back on. Definitely dont let the negativity of impatient / rude customers shy you away from a great product.As of now I will have to give the overall experience a 2 star rating but will definitely adjust when I receive the PC. Called and left a message about a shipping delay on the 3080, offered me a 3070ti, and before I could call to clear it up they shipped it out with a 3080ti. If that isnt excellence Im not sure what is!

I was a little worried because it seemed like this place was smaller but I am happy. No problems. Beautiful looking desktop and my grandson is happy with it.

I got my PC from Cobratype shortly after I ordered it online from Newegg. It worked amazing, the model was clean as well, but I came into an issue of the GPU failing. I sent it back their way to have it fixed. There came some complications, however the owner and customer support were efficient in ensuring I got what I wanted and handled it smoothly. I bought the Lora off of Newegg and it’s been fantastic. I’ve been able to stream and play whatever I want. The main reason I wanted to write a review was to talk about the service. Not only did the PC get here really fast, but the customer service helped me with the setup when I couldn’t figure out how to use two monitors. They went above and beyond. I found this company to be very good. A little slow on shipment, but I got the PC within a few days. Had one issue (I think it was my son) and they solved it quickly.

I just bought a new PC from Cobratype. I’m really surprised at how good it is. I thought I was going to have to redo all of the cables and update everything but I didn’t. Cable management was clean. If you’re getting a prebuild, I’d recommend cobratype.

Worst experience ever! These guys are extremely rude. The owner himself acts like he knows everything and will dismiss anything you say to avoid being wrong. Not to mention most of their products are built with 6 year old and older hardware with absurd price tags. Never had such a bad experience before. I would avoid them at all costs.

Buyer beware! I purchased a PC from them back in sep/oct. Within a month the power supply blew. I tried contacting them through their website multiple times to get nowhere. After doing some digging(it took awhile!) I found a phone number for the company. I sent all relevant information on my purchase to get nowhere with them. Im still waiting on a response, over 3 1/2 mos later. Very dissatisfied with how they handle their business. Not worth buying from them, and I would never do it again.

I bought the Anaconda from Cobratype and this thing is amazing. I’ve been looking for a new Gpu for months and when I saw a prebuild with an i9 I knew I had to get it. It looks amazing and runs like a charm.

Purchased online. It arrived pretty quickly. I turned it on and it sl booted right up, seemed to be very nice quality. The case looks very nice and the lights are pretty awesome. So much better for games than the laptop I was using. Definitely recommend.

I’ve had my cobratype pc for over a year now and it still runs great.

Initially, they refused to remedy an issue where the delivery time (COVID delays) ate into the warranty leaving us with a hunk of useless metal before the warranty would have legitimately run out. Theyre working with us now which were grateful for. Will update again.

I ordered a new prebuilt PC and was told it would arrive within 5 business days. It took 2 weeks for my PC to be delivered. Once it came in I plugged it in and nothing turned on, nothing inside the desktop worked. I know it got power because the mouse and keyboard light up but nothing inside the desktop turned on. I was then told to take it apart and mess with the components, even though its supposed to be new. The right click on my mouse didnt work on top of it. All I want now is a refund.

Newegg told me I was outside of the 30 day return window but said I could contact Cobratype. Jordan was awesome and let me upgrade my PC even though I bought it in May. Just got my pc a week ago, was gaming just fine[cod]. Ive the latest driver installed for my video card. I start playing the game and it shakes and cuts out 4 mins into playing. Any solutions? Also they are very hard to get ahold of

Two different occasions I inquired about buying machines from Jordan. I was instructed to text him with my requirements and received no response both times. I even sent a follow-up text and still nothing. I happened upon a gaming PC for sale at a local PC repair shop that happened to be on consignment with CobraType Computers. I was in need of a PC on a budget for my wife, so we purchased it. We were so happy with it that I decided to upgrade my own PC. The repair shop near me that I had originally purchased from did not have any more of these systems, but I found out that they were from CobraType, and contacted a representative directly. He was very responsive to my messages, and was able to provide me with a second system that I am thrilled to be receiving within the next few days. I ordered a computer from you guys off ebay and it said estimated delivery was 4/30/2020 through 5/4/2020 and here i am still waiting for my pc and the fedex website said they only printed a shipping label since tuesday 4/28/2020... Please send me my computer i worked really hard for it and now i have no clue if its coming or not.. I ordered on 12/27/2019 and received it as expected on 1/10/2020. The external box had holes in it which I generally blame the shipping company so I was not concerned since they packed the actual PC in a second box.Unfortunately, I open the PC box to have a look and heard items loose inside the rig. In the process of shipping the HDD came loose from its housing.I contacted them and they responded quickly. Without question they promised to ship me a new PC to replace the damaged one with return postage guaranteed. To top it off they added a refund for the inconvenience. I can see that they care about their product quality and their customers. My daughter is looking forward to getting to the replacement soon. I would recommend them to others that are looking for a trustworthy company to build them a low cost starter gaming rig.11/24/2020 - It has been almost a year since I received my replacement PC from Cobra Type Computers and it has been working flawlessly. My daughter is impressed with its performance and graphics having added a couple of HD monitors to her rig. It performs as promised when she is gaming and streaming video with quality graphics and no lagging when online. She loves its RGB lighting and open glass side panel. I have recommended Cobra Type Computers to a couple of friends as the place to go for their first performance gaming rig.

March 25th 2020 I purchased some monitors I needed to set up my home office. Cobratype told me when my payment was cleared they would ship. I saw my account was debited on March 26th but didnt receive any communication from the them. I reached out on April 2nd to ask if it had shipped and I was sent an email saying that my order had been shipped. On April 6th I was feeling antsy about my order, because I needed these monitors to perform my job properly, I again reached out to the Cobratype requesting a tracking #. A couple hours later I receive an email and I quote I apologize, but we’re actually out of stock on this item. Bonanza did not update in time to aura that we are out. What?!?! So now I have to reorder these items and wait for them to come in. How frustrating. If the item was out of stock why did you debit my account? Why did I get an email saying my order has shipped?!? Terrible service. Shady company. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

One of the worst experiences I have had with a company. The first computer arrived late, and stopped working within a couple days. The second computer stopped working within a couple days. The third computer didnt arrive for weeks after I was told it was ready to ship. And the customer support didnt answer my questions about the hold up beyond I dont know. Just an overall painful experience.

I emailed Cobratype to try and find a computer for my son so that he can play fortnite with his friends. They got back to me the same day and helped me decide on one for him for Christmas! Thank you!

Incredible service! Stopped in to drop my laptop off because it wouldnt start. Expected to pay a deposit, at least $50 if not more (like most other places) and drop a grip in repairs. Jordan came out, asked me what was wrong, I asked about their business (they build some sick machines and have Apple too). He grabbed a small screwdriver, took the back plate off, and removed one of the RAM cards, I have an Ultrabook btw. Put the back on and said that usually fixes the problem. Turned it on and worked like a charm. Incredible knowledge and service! Walked out in less than 10 min. Btw didnt have to pay a deposit nor break the bank....

I purchased a gaming pc from Cobratype Computers on 3/1/19. My estimated delivery date was set on 3/4/19, then changed to 3/8/19, then changed to 3/12/19. I have called Newegg about the issue with shipment and was told it originated from Cobratype Computers because FedEx didnt receive the package until 3/8/19. This is my very first time ordering from Newegg / Cobratype Computers. At this time, I cannot rate the actual product because I have not received it in the amount of time estimated but as far as my overall review goes, these guys have great prices and can beat anyone else as far as that, but they need to work on time management and shipping. I rate them 3 stars.
