Very friendly and helpful staff! I was wearing the wrong prescription for years and Dr Kruger did an amazing job at finding the right prescription for me. Also, the visit was affordable for someone without vision insurance. Would recommend!

My optician, Anna, was very friendly and patient and took time to ask about myself. Dr. Kruger was excellent and very thorough in his assessment of my eye health and eye care needs. I have tried to make an appointment here twice. I completed their Appointment Request Online I was sent email basically stating for me to be customer here I have to complete a form email it in along with my insurance cards before I can have an appointment. Well I just dont send my information to a company I have never done business with. I also tried to call since their website has it plainly listed on the screen to call. I then get an elaborate long voicemail message and then I am told to leave a message. I guess this place does not like new customers.

I experienced a bad scratch to my cornea yesterday and had severe pain all night. I called this morning about 10am and got in by 1pm. I was seen and treated promptly. Cannot express how grateful I am. Great place to go for all your eye care needs!

Another great experience at DSM Eye Care. From the initial welcome by the front desk staff and throughout the entire exam process, Dr. Donnel and his team are professional and thorough. They truly care about your eye health and take the time to answer your questions along the way. Would highly recommend.

They will do anything to make an extra buck off of you. Their glasses are wayyy over priced. If you need contacts you will be paying $75 for a “contact evaluation” even though you’ve worn contacts for 20 years. It’s definitely a SCAM. No other place I’ve been to has “contact evaluations” if you are a person who prefers contacts they will charge you an extra $75 every year. Look else where.

Des Moines Eye Care went above and beyond to ensure the health of my eyes! Dr. Kruger and his team were very kind to me and welcomed me to the area. Very personable and professional! I stumbled across them when I was having an emergency with my eye, and the eye doctor I was going to before this couldnt get me in. I found Des Moines Eye Care and they were happy to get me right in and help me with my issue. I ended up making them my primary eye care facility after that. Not only are they closer to work and home, they are very kind and can always get me in right away. Id definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new eye doctor!
